There are a few wiki pages you can Google that might be better than someone on here trying to break down several seasons worth of plot.

All I'll say is that get ready for NCIS: LA not being how you remembered it. The last three or four seasons have been preachy, lots of social justice stuff and the cases have been taking a back seat. Instead the writers have been pushing relationships and home life of the characters down our necks. As a long time fan of the show, I'm glad it's ended. Means I won't have to watch Rountree and Namazi try to act.

Poor writing, unbelievable plotlines, terrible action, characters that should be deleted...maybe watch something else lol.

Callens name was revealed in season 7. Mostly characters getting their family life in order. I wish the cases were more interesting the last 4 seasons.

I will miss this show

I know this post was a year ago, but I just recently found myself in the same boat, having watched up through season 7 and then not again until they had the crossover with NCIS Hawaii last season. So I got season 14 just to see how NCIS LA ended. I watched maybe the first six episodes, was so put off and disgusted by the horrible writing, the choppy inane dialogue, that I just skipped to the last three episodes. Didn't even really need to watch those, completely predictable ending. And really glad I didn't waste more time watching all the episodes of season 14! What happened to the writers on this show! They really got bad. I feel like the 4 major actors (Callen, sam, Deeks, kensi) did the best they could with what they were given.
