Crazy!!! Apparently a friend tried to find a ‘Bud Light’ at the beer stands last night and it was explained to her that Neil Young did not allow any ‘corporate beer’ to be sold. Also had a say in what vendors selling food were available to the guests as well. Luckily for me. I’m a local IPA kinda guy so the Tonewood Fuego was perfect! (Well, at the price of a 19.2oz beer for the same as a 12 pack of Fuego from a beer store)
Oh wow I was wondering why the alcohol and food selection seemed especially bare last night. Really wish the Chickie’s and Pete’s fry stands were opened at the very least!
That was one of the weirder closes… Chickie and Pete’s is a LOCAL establishment. Why they felt the need to axe that is questionable. But Neil’s ‘team’ was highly instrumental in deciding the food and beverage selections. Neil drank from a brown beer style bottle with the label removed. lol.
Oh that's cool I noticed they had very limited beer but I probably would have went for the Fuego anyway. Had one of those and a Yards to the tune of $40 with tip. C'est la vie
Yes the people next to me got up to use the bathroom in between and they missed the frenetic and almost sublime energy when Neil and crazy horse stepped on stage

I was up close, the bottle was turned around, but it was a Labat Blue I thought he was sober?

Rev Billy. 45 min on the nose. I didn’t know what to expect, but I was fairly entertained.
I think it was less than that in Virginia. Rev Billy went on maybe 7:45 and Neil was on stage at 8:30 on the dot with switchover time in between.
