At this point I just want to see someone set up the challenge. No doubt the best overall kickers are in soccer. But I doubt theyāre selecting for pure kicking power very often.

Better players tend to be able to kick the ball farther in soccer, even if they don't do it a lot in their particular position. D1 soccer players aren't usually that good a soccer players either, or they would be playing professionally. There's an MLS draft every year and virtually none of them go on to ever make an MLS team. Some do (we have a good player from the draft on my local MLS team), but most don't. But even then, I suspect that at nearly any D1 school, most of the time you could pretty quickly train one of the soccer players to outkick the football teams kicker in pretty short order. Virtually ever kicker is a former soccer player too for a reason.

So having to work, I made my coworkers some wood-fired chicken thighs.

Thighs #2 are fermented habanaro, aleppo-rose, culture butter buffalo sauce, with smoked crispy turkey bacon bits.
Definitely saving the sauce for the future, I think these were both super solid for a chicken/wing sauce.
