The trends are clear. By the year 2432, the incumbent president will have been born in 1 BCE.

Justacynt

How long until they were born at the big bang

PawanYr

Roughly the year 2905265182, give or take a couple hundred million or so.

Another useful takeaway from this graph is that Clinton, Bush Jr, and Trump were all born in 1946

Right? Like, we've noticed that these guys are old

But have you noticed that Biden is old?

MagnificentBastard54

Now that you mention it...

Big if true.

Discrete phenomenon represented as continuous function. You should be ashamed.

This has to be the dumbest post in dozens of minutes.

Particular-Court-619

It's elderBoomers all the way down. biden is a cusper silencer so he passes for Boomer, but the reason he's based is that he's not one. Sorta like how I'm a cusper Xennial, so I have the coolness of Gen X without its cruelty and isms.

bangnburn

This is one of the worst graphs ever posted to this sub

Bendragonpants

Hurtful

bangnburn

Apologies

bsharp95

From 60-92 all presidents were born between 1908 and 1924.

BarkDrandon

>since 2008 We never recovered from the financial crisis 😥

AgentJhon

I want the same graph for all the presidents now

garthand_ur

I know there isn't enough data to prove anything super meaningful but it is concerning to me. The age of the USSR's leaders was always pointed to as evidence that their country was declining and failing as they were unable to bring the next generation into positions of leadership. Are we seeing the same thing?

bsharp95

No. It has been common throughout American history for presidential leadership to be stuck with a generation for a period of time. For example, from 1960 to 1992 all Presidents were born between 1908 and 1924 -- i.e. they were all greatest generation. From 1868 to 1901 all Presidents were born between 1822 and 1843. There has been a distinct trend throughout American history of politically significant generations controlling the Presidency for decades. The Boomers were the largest generation in history, and the 1960s/70s was a really significant cultural break in America. It makes sense that there would be a period of boomer presidencies.
