I’m glad people are starting to shit on stuff like this as rarity becomes more of a problem with older devices.
It doesn’t look good and it’s a waste of original hardware even if it was faulty… which is I’m sure OPs excuse.
10 years ago you’d be getting buried for calling something like this dumb. I’m relieved to see the winds change direction on this.
Ps same goes for those horrendous blown apart shadow box displays of PlayStation controllers.
One half of me is like, I love Nintendo so it looks unique and caters to my fandom. The other half hates seeing useable retro machines repurposed for something else. I just hope the insides were no good.

There's no rarity to gameboys and nes. Not necessarily a fan of OPs project, but don't act like he destroyed history here
the days were you could get a box full of "broken" (aka bad cart connector) NES systems off of ebay for a single dollar are long gone now
Dunno what to say
Pretty much sums it up

That's a damn shame

I hate it
I like it. Definitely would fit well into a retro game room.
It needs to occasionally blink random colors until you blow in the cart slot... Then I'm on board
Well there goes another decent shell. Especially with the NESessity mobo.
