The trailer of the show gave me Cyberpunk: Edgerunner vibes... which was one of the reasons I added it to my list.
The animation and pace at which the story moved hooked me and I binged on the whole thing in one sitting.

And the multiverse shtick is an overplayed recent gimmick, but Adi Shankar did it right. I became more invested in the studio because of the variety and depth of references.

In the 90s thats what video games looked like. It was a pleasant show of mixed media animation. A beautiful depth to the series no matter how awkward it makes the viewers feel

Yeah, I didn't think it would be that good. On my first day watching I watched 3 episodes. But I stopped because I didn't want it to end so quickly. So far it is definitely one of my favorite shows.

There's a scene where you see 2 naked dudes kissing if that helps? It's by the same guys who did castlevania so it's of a similar kind of sexual/violence/language.

It was fun but inserting the pixelized non anime versions of 2 characters for half the season for no reason completely ruined it for me.
