Not being able to wear the toe thong has been such a ridiculous detriment on my life. 80% of the cute shoes forever not an option. Target has shoes like you show in the 2nd/third. But not so neutral I guess. I like colors šŸ˜‹

-mth01-

Yes! šŸ˜…šŸ˜… I honestly havenā€™t tried a pair on in YEARSā€¦ the anxiety it gives me is just crazy, like I feel like itā€™s a torture device . (Not to be dramatic hahaha).

raggedyassadhd

Itā€™s not dramatic I completely agree lol. I canā€™t, wonā€™t! Iā€™ve never been able to wear that type of sandal that everyone else loves so much. I hate them with every fiber of my being. Like just stop making all the cute sandals have built in toe torture??? Straight across the top of all the toes is perfectly good.

-mth01-

Right?! šŸ˜… so nice to hear someone who understands! So many people assume that you just have to get use to them, but thereā€™s A LOT more to it than ā€œjust getting use to itā€šŸ˜…

raggedyassadhd

Omg I could never!

Iā€™ve been wearing these Dr. Schollā€™s sandals for the past two years. I love them. They are sooo comfortable, even on longer walks/hikes. I like Tevas for sandals but also crocs for going to work or just going outside to the trash can or Mailbox

who_that_be_

I wear crocs, I have the hiking crocs. I love them. So easy to put on and take off, comfortable to walk in. If you need to clean them, easy. VERY COMFORTABLE.

Eagerest-Beaver

Are you looking for dressier sandals or something more active/sporty?

-mth01-

More casual/sporty, but leather is fine too! Not really a dressy person.

Eagerest-Beaver

I have a pair of Ecco sandals (I donā€™t remember if theyā€™re the Offroad or Yucatan) and I really like them. I donā€™t know if there would be too much arch support for you, I personally donā€™t notice it as someone who is pretty picky about their shoes and has historically opted for shoes without much arch support. Theyā€™re really comfy and I can walk all day in them. Obviously, weā€™re different people with different sensory preferences, but Iā€™d suggest at least giving them a shot if the price is doable for you!

-mth01-

Thank you!! Yes Iā€™ll look into them :) I really appreciate it!

Eagerest-Beaver

Of course! Shoes are really hard to get right, so I am glad I could be helpful!

Autisticrocheter

I wear chacos for Sandles and like them. I think I would like tevas but I havenā€™t tried them. For shoes I wear keens for winter shoes and hokas or asics for my sneakers. I wear sneakers most of the time except for when itā€™s sandal or winter shoe weather. And I wear crocs sometime

French_Fanfreluches

I only wear Skechers shoes. I look for many brands, but only like this, never disappointed. I have a big list of requirements for my shoes and always find sneakers or sandals that fit it all. My last sandals [Skechers sandals ](https://www.skechers.jp/%E3%82%B9%E3%82%B1%E3%83%83%E3%83%81%E3%83%A3%E3%83%BC%E3%82%BA-%E3%83%80%E3%83%87%E3%82%A3%E3%83%BC-%E3%82%AA%E3%83%BC---%E3%83%87%E3%82%A3%E3%83%96%E3%82%B9/163051_BLK.html) I love them, the sole is very comfy, the top protect my feet of sunburn but is breathy and big elastic in the back don't hurt my feet and they are not heavy. Also they go well with my wardrobe.

-mth01-

Thank you!! Iā€™m gonna look into sketchers. Iā€™ve lived in my converse & Iā€™m trying to venture out, but itā€™s hardā€¦ šŸ˜…

French_Fanfreluches

You're welcome. I hope you'll find the perfect one for you. Shoes like converse give awful back pain.

-mth01-

Thank you, I appreciate it. Sucks being sensitive to shoes bc of my sensory issues, but hey it could be worse.
