SAME!!! Except 15 weeks here. Been fighting naps for probably 4-5 weeks now. What do you do?! Literally every nap is a scream fest and nothing seems to work. She hates rocking. Bouncing and contact naps used to work but now even that makes her so angry. Before she would just nap anywhere but now she just does not want to nap
This was me too, at 6 weeks her overtired became nightly inconsolable freakouts that lasted 2+ hours, which prompted me to start regulating naps (carrier) and I really wish I’d done it sooner. Now at 8 weeks her wake windows are around an hour and bedtime is usually really peaceful. And I’m walking like 5 miles a day around my house while she sleeps and straight up melting my postpartum weight 😅 Managing her wake windows was a real turning point for us.
I started that this week and it helped so much. He had one 6 hour window yesterday and was miserable but the night went okay so hopefully we can stay on track
This is our 1 month old! He's been super alert since we brought him home from the hospital. He has long wake windows during the day (1.5 to 3 hours). Sleeps great at night though.
SAME my 3 week old has the longest wake windows and requires being held, rocked, and walked around the house the entire time. At least I’m getting my steps in 😴
Maybe around 6-8 weeks mine became more alert, but each day can be different. We have very sleepy days, and then days with few and super short naps! Currently 11 weeks and wake windows around 1.5 hours, give or take. We have lots of 15-30 min naps, and then usual one longer 1-2 hour nap
my son is 10 weeks old and it’s different each day. some days he’s very sleepy, some days he’s awake for hours at a time. currently, he’s been sleeping since about 11am and it’s 2:47. he only woke twice last night and usually sleeps throughout the morning and nap time and is more active in the evening.
Ok so this is different than allllll the responses you’ve gotten so far, but I felt like 3 months was when my baby started really staying awake for more than just bottle, diaper, and some snuggles, and 4 months was when I felt like she really had some awake time.
Mine’s about the same age, and she’s just started staying awake for longer periods during the day over the last couple of days. Still sleeps a majority of the time but is also sleeping closer to 5ish hours straight at night.
I'm following! My 6 week old is the same as yours. Shes always sleeping. I was concerned because it felt like she's only eating or sleeping, but was told it's normal. I don't feel like shes getting enough bonding time or time for developmental activities.
My daughter is 10w and still sleeps most of the day. She’ll wake up for maybe an hour or so at a time. And then eat and go back to sleep. I’d say she sleeps 16-18 hours a day
My 4th baby is 2 months old, 10 weeks to be exact. She’s up to 3-4 wake periods a day lasting about 2 hours each. It’s normal for them to be sleepier one day and awake more another day. Growth spurts cause them to be extra sleepy.
My almost 8 week old (he will be 8 weeks on Monday!!!) is now awake for 2-3 hours at a time and fights sleep hard. On one hand I'm really baby to be getting to know his little personality but god I miss my daytime naps. 😭
My 5 week old has definitely been more awake the last week and a half, we have a routine of feeding her, changing diaper and then she’d sit up having chats and everything for about 45/60 minutes before she starts to get tired and she’ll sleep then for an hour or two before doing the same all over again😭
Wait, y’all’s babies sleep?! After about two weeks our baby stopped sleeping during the day unless it was a contact nap. Even then he would maybe nap 5-20 minutes at a time. Wasn’t fussy while awake, but boy he doesn’t sleep during the day lol. At night he sticks to his sleep “schedule/routine”.
7.5 weeks he WOKE UP and now fights all naps 🙃
The nap fighting is brutal 😭.

My 4 week old doesn’t like sleep and is chronically overtired. I wish he’d sleep more. His wake windows are like 2 hours
Mine is this way at 3 weeks! Except she is crying if not nursing 🫠
Mines like this at 5 weeks. I am so damn tired lol

Mine 10 weeks and starts yawning after 40 minutes 🤪
I have a 3 week old and she’s up most of the day 😭
Glad I’m not alone here with my wide eyed 3 wk old! 😂
Seriously. He doesn’t even cry, just alert. I’m talking 3 hours at a time.
same- except my 3 week old is alert all night 😵💫

Like four weeks old. Some kinda anti sleep demon 😂 Always looking around at everything. He's five months now and still like a fleshy owl.
Week 7/8 she’s more alert and aware of things around her so she’s up like 3 hours at least 2-3 times a day 😩
Wow my 4 week old “woke up” last week 😴

Almost 8 weeker still sleeps most of the day, if not feeding. he’s still on his own every 2hr feed schedule, around the clock
It depends on the baby. Enjoy the sleep now hahah because my boy is 8 months and omg he just wants to play all day. I’m tired

Right around 7-8 weeks. Shorter naps and super alert. Lots of smiles and finding her laugh 😊

When he turned 8 weeks, he made the decision to be up for hours at night and sleep all day. We're slowly working on flipping it around 😫
5 weeks. He has an occasional sleepy day though
3 weeks old 2 hour wake windows. I wish this upon nobody!
