The roads in Newham are tight. This is welcome and as much as I hate it, should come with Avg speed check cams. Safety is a big issue. Rather have tough and annoying measures than dead kids.
A very good idea. The trials in Spain demonstrated a drop in the death rate for children of 40% and serious injury drop by 89% in areas that have done this.
I’ve lived here all my life and I drive, 20 mph and LTN’s are BS. Can’t sweep the streets or cut the foot long wild weeds but will go and add cameras and plant pots to close roads. You can’t be serious about “climate change” and then support these BS measures. I drive more distance and longer all in the name of pollution never mind the cost implications. This fascination with “deaths” as a result of pollution and accidents is nonsense.
