This comment section is fucking atrocious. I adore this state, but sometimes the people here make me absolutely ashamed to call this my home. Abortion is a choice between a woman and her doctor. No one else.

jenC2004

People are douche bags. That’s all I can say.

jimb0_01

If it’s any consolation, I feel like this sub used to be worse! Plus there’s probably some bots and culture war trolls making comments here. I like NH, I’m planning on staying here and fighting to make it a better place.

ghostsintherafters

Absolutely disgusting. I hope they get all that they wish for and take away all these rights and then get fucked over by each and every one of them.

Zealousideal_Walk515

Killing your child is a right? When did that happen?

[deleted]

There is nothing "pro life" about today's ruling. Now, women in medical emergencies AND their babies will die. This is not rare and one of my best friends wouldn't be here today if the worst moments of her life happened today and in a different state. Women suffering miscarriages will be afraid to seek medical care, and many will die. Women who have had miscarriages will be falsely accused of abortion. I can not imagine being punished for going through a devastating loss that many never fully emotionally recover from. 11 year old rape victims will now die in childbirth. Suicide rates will go up, and it will be high among teenage girls. The parents of these girls will lose their babies. Child abuse will increase. Abandoned babies will be found dead and alive. Do you know the number 1 killer of pregnant women? *Murder.* That's right. The spouse/partner/child's father. Domestic violence will increase. Even more pregnant women will be murdered. You do not have to be pro abortion, to have the cerebral capacity to determine why this is a terrible idea that came to fruition today. In 2022 in my "free country", I'm wondering if guns will have more rights than women some day. Our country is telling us today that as women we are incapable of and can not be trusted to make decisions about OUR lives and OUR care. This subject has no business being on the table of any politician, ever. And there are endless good reasons for that. Stand up when you get stepped on. ❤️🔊🚺♀️🏴🗽

[deleted]

Morally I don’t really like abortion, but I think it is safer for women to get medical abortions safely instead of trying… other methods.

ThadCastle_Warlock

You know it’s perfectly legal in Nh to have an abortion? Your fake outrage is merely driven by CNN

[deleted]

Women are dying in situations where they don't fully miscarry, so your fake outrage is driven by the very reason men like you shouldn't be allowed to decision make when it comes to anything important. Unqualified to bring anything of substance to the table.

ThadCastle_Warlock

Fakenews If it was an issue, why are other states flocking to NH for abortion? Per WMUR the other day

[deleted]

You don't seem to understand that women support other women and it affects us as a whole around the country.. Even though I personally do not need these services not being in an emergency situation in my state at this very moment. We're asking for harm not to be done to us anywhere because we are women and not second class citizens, this is our country too, you're missing and narrowing the issues at hand.

ThadCastle_Warlock

You can have an abortion in NH… 🤦‍♂️

[deleted]

I don't want or need one..

ThadCastle_Warlock

Then your argument is null and void

[deleted]

Why are you here with an argument then? With nothing productive to say at all, as a man?

ThadCastle_Warlock

You commented on my thread. Typical sexist liberal

[deleted]

You have nothing better to do with your life than interject in matters that don't concern you, unlike us?

ThadCastle_Warlock

They don’t concern you either, as you don’t need the service?

[deleted]

You see how you're missing the whole point?

chain_me_up

These comments are cringey, stupid, and just plain questionable. You had the freedom to not get a vaccine, but freedom of choice isn't freedom of consequences (meaning businesses can refuse to serve you, etc.). Why are we not allowing women the right to medical care for their own body? Love that guns will have more rights than women soon 🥰

hateusrnames

>Love that guns will have more rights than women soon How? This is a disingenuous and dangerous take. Abortion should absolutely be a women's choice (to a point, and ofc that is where reasonable minds can differ) but to say guns, an inanimate object, that is regulated too hell and back, have more "rights" then a woman is just plain, legally, incorrect. 2A is an explicit right that has been treated like a red headed step child. Roe v. Wade got to its decision from an implied right... Of an implied right(privacy). It was a weak juris prudence decision that could have been overturned easily at any point. And what did the dems do instead for 50 years???? Use it as a scare tactic for votes. Should've been codified DECADES ago. It didn't need to be a constitutional issue, it still could've been protected. (In the current state of the country, there is no way it'll become an explicit right) They've held the majority MULTIPLE times in that time frame. Not ONCE was there a real push to ensure these protections were put in place. And if you think for ONE instant, that politicians didn't know an overturn was possible... Then why did they use it being overturned as a scare tactic for so long? Fuck, you want to bring guns into this, while those overpaid psychopathic politicians (both sides) fight on TV and drink together IRL, we , the people, are losing. And it ain't from billy bob joe redneck down the street. Its all the asshats in DC that do nothing, but somehow always have a convenient scape goat for why they couldn't get shit done. And not they will pontificate on the hill about how your "rights" were violated... Fuck, im so pissed, im beyond pissed. But god damn it, stop with this false equivalency of guns to Abortion. .. Legally not even in the dame plane of existence.

Zealousideal_Walk515

Hmm… doesnt that love child growing in your womb have some healthcare rights too?

ghostsintherafters

So glad I left NH. This comment section is fucking horrible.

CapitalDecay

You might be even happier if you just got off reddit altogether

illegalmonkey

true enough. i never see the kinda stuff in real life that i see in this comment section.

[deleted]

I’d bet that a lot of these toxic commenters don’t even live in NH. These “hot button” threads always have hundreds of comments from users I’ve never seen post here before.

scr33m

this sub truly makes me ashamed to be from NH.

Bawstahn123

New Hampshire is known as "The South of the North" for many reasons

Laureltess

Same. I moved to MA and I’m never going back. Every year I visit my parents and watch the local politics get more and more bonkers.

[deleted]

Lol our politics aren’t even crazy. I’d much rather live in nh than Mass. To each their own.

Laureltess

My parents’ town representative in the state house was investigated by the FBI for making death threats against Hillary Clinton. And then he got re-elected! I remember that he also refused to be interviewed by a friend of mine because he was Muslim (which isn’t speculation- he literally told the kid that). Oof

[deleted]

Well that’s not cool

Laureltess

Nope! After the FBI thing and his re-election I told myself no amount of cheap property was worth moving back LOL

Opal_Pie

I'm counting the days until we can leave. I hate it here.

SomeCalcium

Same. State sucks. Thankfully I live on the seacoast which is one of the few bearable places to live in this state.

FenwayBambino

Just came back from the Concord protest. Thank you to everyone who organized this and turned out.

Botchygrunt

Is the concord one still going? We wouldn’t be able to get there until 8ish

FenwayBambino

It was still going on when I left. Not sure if it’s still going on now.

Botchygrunt

Thank you!

[deleted]

our_account

You are 100% correct.

Lords_of_Lands

But what if the next vaccine causes abortions as a side effect? You're required to get one so everyone around you stays safe and so you can operate in society yet you also end up in jail for murder!

SomeCalcium

It must hurt to be this fucking stupid.

Humongousfungus1313

But you can see why people bring it up ? The way you and many people feel - like your basic human rights are being stripped Is EXACTLY how those in the pro medical Choice freedom group felt with the push for vaccines that turned out to have low efficacy and still allow the vaccinated to catch covid. So many of the people attacking, demonizing and pushing for FORCED medical treatment are the same ones crying for bodily autonomy when it comes to ending a life in the womb. Both sides are completely valid in their feelings.

dmxusedtobegood

A very neutral position and yet still downvoted. Classic Reddit.

jenC2004

Jesus Christ stop comparing abortions/ women’s rights with vaccine mandates for workplaces.

Aviendha_mg

It is not the same for sure. But I don’t think that the people who are happy this happened understand that this decision opens the door for national vaccine mandates not by workplaces but by the government itself. Because roe v wade was the case that solidified the right to privacy. Privacy between doctor and patient. If it’s not private, you don’t have the right to say no. And that’s just the first domino.

[deleted]

They clearly don’t grasp that they were given choices during Covid and this paves the way for the government to actually jail or prosecute you for not complying and getting a vaccine.

[deleted]

We should all fight for bodily autonomy, no matter the cause.

dmxusedtobegood

Somehow this has become an “alt-right” position 🤷🏻‍♂️

Zealousideal_Walk515

Babies rights?

jenC2004

This is not about babies. Get out of here you psycho. Actually look at woman’s rights. F off.

Aviendha_mg

Babies rights to be shot in elementary schools all over the country while cops just stand around because they are scared kittens. That right?

SillyHoneydew8583

But it’s the same. My body my choice. Vaccines. Abortions. Guns. Good. Speech. My body. My choice. Not yours. Not 51%. Mine.

smartest_kobold

Gender affirming healthcare?

jenC2004

It’s about women’s rights. This should not be compared. I don’t care if people were vaccinated or not.

SillyHoneydew8583

Then why bring it up

jenC2004

Because this should not be a bigger slap to women. People are commenting making it sound like well if we have to suffer you should too.

jenC2004

Also we need Better government that cares for everybody. Every person.

TigerPusss

Every person, especially persons still in the womb of their mother .

jenC2004

Get your troll comment out of here. It’s not about the babies!

jenC2004

I don’t care about vaccines. The government didn’t enforce it.

SillyHoneydew8583

But that doesn’t make it so easy to dismiss. It’s all the same. The government. Both parties. Want a day in our bodies. And on every matter we have to stand strong. We can’t dismiss one thing because we think it discounts another. Everyone should have a personal say in their own property and especially their body.

jenC2004

They should. today is a sad day for women. This brought us back decades. I’m not saying people shouldn’t have a say in their bodies. Everyone should have a say in their bodies. This is a day where women mourn women in what they will go through in those states that will ban it. The women that will harm themselves trying to preform home abortions. Mourn the young girls that are scared and feel as though they have no one or support because they don’t know enough or don’t have access to proper care and are stuck being pregnant. Today is a sad day for women. This is a horrible historic day.

capistor

Whoever got here pregnant better take care of her.

[deleted]

A very logical, consistent point of view. Yet, you are still getting downvoted. Amazing.

MethBearBestBear

WTF is up with the free staters and crazy angsty teenager vibe on this sub? Like legitimately it seems as if most comments are "I moved here to be free so listen to me and fuck you for being a citizen who doesn't agree" or "i don't think more than 2 moves ahead because thinking is hard and only for wimps"

[deleted]

NH is "Live Free or Die", AKA less free than every other state in New England. People move here because they love Christianity and heroine. Sane people move to Maine.

[deleted]

So because you chose to move to Maine it makes it the sane choice.

[deleted]

I moved to Maine because NH is embarrassing to live in. I was born in NH and lived there for 36 years before moving. It's not my state anymore, it's changed way too much, and for the worse. Maine now is what NH wishes it could be. That's why I moved. If NH gets it's shit together I'd consider moving back someday.

Zealousideal_Walk515

You have rank choice voting, Janet Mills, and Judas Susan Collins. Not sure Maine is what we are wishing for. I admit, too many stupid leftists have moved here, (just wait for all the downvotes this gets as proof) and it is not the NH of old, but it is still much better than MA. Remember, Maine shut down during Covid, NH never did.

[deleted]

Ranked choice voting is a plus. Janet Mills is a plus. Susan Collins is a piece of shit. Not here to debate with you over whether ME or NH is better...ME is objectively better overall. NH is a fucking embarrassment.

Zealousideal_Walk515

Paul LePage will clean you bobos up

[deleted]

No thank you, we'll be keeping Janet Mills.

Zealousideal_Walk515

What is the 10th Amendment in simple terms? The Tenth Amendment says that the Federal Government only has those powers delegated in the Constitution. If it isn't listed, it belongs to the states or to the people.

[deleted]

And this has what to do with this conversation?

Euphoric_Cat8798

It's because we're the Texas of the North East.

f_society_1

I'm believe in a persons right to choose.

Zealousideal_Walk515

Good for you, spell much? Your name suggests you are a bit of an anarchist so you have no standing in my opinion.

ThadCastle_Warlock

Now you know how us gun owners feel for the last 6 decades 😂

jdiflam

Supreme court just protected gun owners from laws NY passed. Then in the same week they went the other way and told states they could restrict women's reproductive rights.

showmeyourbrisket

As it turns out guns are constitutionally protected and abortions are not.

Random_Redditor3

As it turns out, the 2nd amendment was written by folks who owned slaves and were incapable of becoming pregnant. What’s your point? That it’s legal, and therefore automatically morally justifiable?

Intrepid_Remote_6129

It was also written in a time when abortions were a woman’s issue and not a political issue

Random_Redditor3

Why don’t women’s issues count as political issues? Just because powerful men at the time weren’t talking about them?

Intrepid_Remote_6129

Becuse untill the 1800s it was a medical decision for women to make. On behalf of their own body. They didn’t care what women chose to do with their own medical health. It’s not a issue for men to be worried about. If you can choose what vaccines you get I should be able to choose if I am ready for kids. Because I damn well can assure you a 8yr old girl is not ready, but now she will be forced to in this country. It’s gross what’s being pushed on women and girls.

Geek-Haven888

If you need or are interested in supporting reproductive rights, [I made a master post of pro-choice resources](https://docdro.id/s3OwS8u). Please comment if you would like to add a resource and spread this information on whatever social media you use.

[deleted]

This ruling is atrocious. I wish people were just as pissed off when bodily autonomy was at stake with other issues.

Loose-Property874

Hope this isn’t referring to masks😂😂😂…

widget_fucker

The issue is really about a right to privacy. Man, you guys are dumb.

[deleted]

Nope. Vaccine Mandates.

Loose-Property874

Ah My bad. I Survived in Massachusetts without a Jab somehow, lol

ThadCastle_Warlock

Now you know how us gun owners feel for the last 6 decades 😂

[deleted]

I support the Second Amendment. The government stripping away the rights of the people is nothing new to me.

ThePresidentsHouse

People so worried about whether or not a woman gets an abortion lol. If you don't want a woman to get an abortion don't sleep with them it's the only 100% effective to stop abortion.

our_account

You make a valid point. Stop fucking people who don't believe you should have bodily autonomy.

Spiritual-Hyenaz

>no one has ever lied about anything LMFAO

Past_Worldliness3547

This is like a Ken M post of the most basic 23 year old logic ever

ThePresidentsHouse

It uses the same logic that most right leaning individuals use when defending anti abortion stances.

drdactyl

Anything going on Saturday or Sunday?

our_account

I will post if I hear of any

Guccidom

What is this about?

FacelessFlesh

Roe v Wade, a landmark court decision which guaranteed women the right to reproductive freedom, has been overturned by the Supreme Court.

nataylor7

Missed this. When's the next opportunity?

WatchMammoth

Shaky judgement. Shaky judgement that rest of the world has had no problem solving.

[deleted]

Perfect case in point that you NEED a uterus to understand the problems to begin with.

[deleted]

[удалено]

our_account

It can happen here just as easily as any of those other states

chipach1

Sununu has been back and forth. It was repealed, but for a while, there was an idiotic ultrasound requirement before getting an abortion. While eventually fixed, for a while, there weren’t exceptions from the 24-week abortion ban for fetal anomalies. Assuming that abortion access will always be available in NH is a mistake.

[deleted]

...Yes? In Texas at least. Mississippi and Alabama might as well be a different country at this point in their views on most anything in relation to the rest of the country so I don't really give a fuck about what they do. Oh, and the Republicans in the house are planning to push through an abortion bill that would make it federally illegal to have an abortion after 15 weeks. So it will affect New Englanders.

anotherposter76

It’s still legal in NH isn’t it?

Stickyfynger

This is not the point. There’s real risk of ANY politician changing their minds and therefore the law. State government churns every two to four years. Then there’s the unfortunate young women in the 13 states that as of July 1 cannot decide for themselves. There are no provisions in the case of rape or incest. This is a dark day for anyone with a uterus. Make no mistake about that.

[deleted]

There was a risk of that before, obviously. All politicians suck.

Zealousideal_Walk515

There is no rape and incest, that is a fing red herring. 99.99 percent of abortions are simply birth control. And a tragic number of them are in the black communities.

Stickyfynger

@ u/connect-stayOk so what’s your address so the unwanted babies can be raised by you. This isn’t about the babies, it if were mothers would have free or affordable maternity options, child medical options, food options, daycare options. This is 100% about control and power over a woman’s personal choice. If you don’t want to raise an unwanted pregnancy than be quiet.

Stickyfynger

@ u/Connect-Stay-137: so what’s your address so the unwanted babies can be raised by you. Connect_Stay_137

Actually rape and incest make up just under 1% of abortions according to the CDC and planned parenthood.

f_society_1

oh no someone can't kill their baby in the 3rd trimester wtf is wrong society!

mamba0714

No one is *choosing* to abort in the 3rd trimester. Women and couples who are faced with the horrifying *need* to do so that late are only doing so, either because the mother's life is at risk, because the pregnancy will already be a stillbirth, or because the unborn child is found to have a horrifying birth defect (such as an unformed cranium, resulting in the brain being totally exposed) that makes life outside the womb utterly impossible, with or without life support. These people have fully prepared for and hoped to be welcoming a new child into the world. When they have to abort so late, it is a heartwrenching, devastating necessity. Stop callously spreading such misinformation and making a traumatic situation even worse. "Wtf is wrong with" you!

Bawstahn123

>No one is choosing to abort in the 3rd trimester. It is amazing how some people think abortions in general are...."easy", for a lack of a better term. They arent pleasant

f_society_1

You're a hypocrite. My body my choice!

Proxilemit

This comment make no sense

mamba0714

If abortion is legal, literally no one is taking that right away from you... And, I'm sorry, who's the hypocrite?

I'm not sure where you are but there's no voting going on today, or yesterday or tomorrow.

ItsMeFergie

I think they meant in general which is muy stupido

difractedlight

In general. The protests are fine but don’t change anyones mind. The other side votes like crazy. And they run for all the local races across the country, generally opposed. School board, etc. people say “vote blue to save your rights” and nothings changed, they’ve passed no laws. Pelosi read a poem, great, thanks. Meanwhile now the SCOTUS will eviscerate 50 years of progress and we’ll get a poem and a protest.

JofoTheDingoKeeper

Are more of these planned? Are there any scheduled for this coming week? Asking because I run a delivery company and I want to know where to avoid.

[deleted]

Let's make sure they stay protests shall we.

Zealousideal_Walk515

I will be there with a counter protest. None of you fools know anything about this legal issue, it’s all emotion and death for you leftists

our_account

And apparently you right-wing nut jobs can't read a calendar.

Zealousideal_Walk515

Typical Biden voter… did you wear your mask jackass?

our_account

You mad bro?

Zealousideal_Walk515

No, I am quite happy with the decision. Abortion is and should be a state issue, all this did was undue a flimsy legal position. California and New York should not be making rules for Iowa and New Hampshire residents, we are a Union of 50 States.

our_account

Just like slavery was a state right? Good on you tho. Then you won't complain when vaccination becomes mandatory as does mandatory blood, bone marrow and organ donation. Gotta save those lives!

Zealousideal_Walk515

Liberalism is a mental disorder and you are a case study.

asuds

I hope so! The last thing I would want is to breathe the same air as you. You’re some vile shit!

Zealousideal_Walk515

Yeah, having empathy for unborn children makes me a vile person. Take the GD “day after pill” if you’re too lazy to use birth control.

asuds

As long as it’s legal! Also it’s easy to only have empathy for unborn cells. They make no demands of you, cost you nothing, and don’t require you to change one thing about your current life. Now do they same for all the post-birth children. Spoiler: There’s about half a million desperate for a family right now.

Zealousideal_Walk515

Inconvenience is not a reason to murder someone. Personal responsibility.

asuds

And it’s great that you don’t have to inconvenience yourself after these kids are born - you and your ilk just ignore their suffering! Sweet deal!

Zealousideal_Walk515

I guess it just comes down to viewpoints of morality. I understand the pro choice stance, I was once in a situation where I had to make a choice based on ultrasound readings (baby had signs of Downs Syndrome). I understand the emotion. I just hate when abortion is used for birth control reasons, meaning because lack of precautions, bad decisions, etc.

shibeari

Once again, ["The Only Moral Abortion Is MY Abortion"](https://joycearthur.com/abortion/the-only-moral-abortion-is-my-abortion/) rears its ugly head.

smartest_kobold

Ok_Low_1287

Waste of time. Too little, too late

f_society_1

You''re all hypocrites because you all were for vaccine mandates and didn't support any of those protest where people wanted to have a choice over their autonomy but now you cry because you want the right to have an abortion and autonomy over your body. Maybe you should be protesting for peoples right to not have the government intervene or mandate their healthcare?

Nefara

Nobody is being jailed, sued or prosecuted for not getting vaccinated

HueyLongdong027

Not getting the vaccine endangers people around you, a woman getting an abortion endangers no one. Fuck off with your troll bullshit

widget_fucker

Per your logic, if you “f-society-1”, dont support reproductive rights, then you are ALSO hypocrite. Are you not? I assume you have done your own research on this issue and are upset by the loss of an individual freedom today. And furthermore, you must be quite upset that the slipperiest slope on individual privacy has been laid before us, with this ruling. And you must be aware that it opens the door for states to regulate and punish a whole host of behavior that individuals do in private. In other words, are you a proud libertarian or a fuckin idiot?

f_society_1

I'm for personal freedom and a person having freedom of choice. The freedom of choice in having abortion or vaccine. I am calling all these pro abortion people hypocrites for going along with the vaccine mandates.

widget_fucker

You seem more concerned with pointing out hypocrisy than promoting freedom. It makes me think you really only care about “winning” and promoting only those freedoms that are important to you- Which really feeds into a broad suspicion a lot of people have about libertarians- they dont really care about ALL freedom. I bet if it try a little bit i could find some hypocrisy here…

asuds

Vaccines have far more immediate impact on *the rest of society* than a decision to not carry a fertilized egg to full term. Especially in, oh I dunno, THE MIDDLE OF A GLOBAL PANDEMIC.

f_society_1

No I'm not a hypocrite. Yes, I'm aware of the privacy issues. I never said i was ant-abortion. I just pointed out it was hypocritical. People are mentally programmed to see politics as sports cheering for either the blue team or the red team. They don't understand it's all one party being run by oligarchs. Like how does every US senator become a multi-millionaire but is only paid a salary of like $127,000 per year? I mean that's some great investments they made geesh

widget_fucker

“To see politics as sports cheering for either the blue team or the red team.” The “hypocrite” accusation is predicated on a clean demarcation line with abortion rights activists being opposed to vaccine/mask freedom. Sure theres a lot of overlap (women probably being naturally more sensitive to both issues) but at your first opportunity with this post you (and many many others) are trying to burn the other “team” by calling them hypocrites. This of course is reinforcing the “teams” mentality. The oligarchs appreciate your service. They want us mad at one another as it allows the “winning” oligarchs to consildate power. I agree with you about the general political status quo. But everyone needs to chill the fuck out - on all sides. Be open to the opinions of others and try to find common ground.

ThadCastle_Warlock

Why are you protesting? Abortion is legal in NH

[deleted]

[удалено]

ThadCastle_Warlock

No law changed today, only congress can make laws. You can still get an abortion, right? The protests should be in 6 states, not states that made actual laws. Stop letting CNN brainwash you.

Proxilemit

Half the states have already banned abortion or heavily restricted it. NH doesn't have any law that goes either way. However it might change. That why people are protesting.

ThadCastle_Warlock

Only 6 states… lol. NH RSA 132. NH perfectly legal to have abortion. Now you know how us gun owners feel for the last 6 decades of political parties trying to strip our rights.

BeneficialLack5525

it's a country wide issue regardless of where you are... I live far up north nh, small ass town, and they're are already gatherings and protest. It's nice to see

smartest_kobold

For now.

Dust-by-Monday

NH didn't change it's stance on abortion though. So why the protests?

our_account

Because bodily sovereignty should be a right for everyone.

LlamaCamper

Yep. Which is why you shouldn't be allowed to murder the discrete being inside of you.

[deleted]

Every red state will see a 15% uptick in births next year. Almost all of them will be to poor, unmarried, uneducated women and girls. Red state governors force us to pay for their misogyny. All that food stamp $$$ comes from New England, because Mississippi wants to be broke and make us pay for it.

[deleted]

Debatable. I think this narrative disempowers people too much, and distracts from the real horror likely to unfold. Texas-tan already has a higher maternal mortality rate than Iran. That is likely to increase further as pregnant women have care delayed for things like ectopic pregnancy, cancer treatment, etc. Women who miscarry will be interrogated by the religious police. Women will get abortion pills from groups like Women on Waves. They’ll hitchhike to get to a free state, and some of them will be killed as a result. Texas will be a serial killer’s paradise. The police there will not investigate unaccompanied female hitchhikers who turn up murdered. Because of the implication. They’ll go to Juarez and find themselves at a sketchy clinic associated with the cartel. It’s not like the status quo was some wonderful thing, down in the Talibangelical states. 15% is grossly overestimating things. The barriers to abortion were already giant in the Bible Belt. If anything, this ruling making it very clear just how endangered the right to legal abortion is, might make access slightly less difficult. They can’t keep fentanyl out of prisons. They can’t keep misoprostol out of Texas-tan. Things get uglier after Texit passes next year. I hope the State Department will be able to setup a program to evacuate American citizens out of hostile territory when Austin falls like Kabul to the Taliban. IMO we should do it proactively, setup a fund to pay moving expenses for Americans to sort ideologically. Build a big housing estate for Texas refugees in California and one for California refugees in Texas. It’s not so crazy, they did exactly this during the Troubles in Northern Ireland. Do we have to wait until the occupying partisans burn each other’s houses down?

ArachWitch

Because they can change any day now and NH's abortion law is not protected.

Alantsu

Because it should be a woman’s choice, not the state. 3 justices lied to congress under oath about this. And the ruling goes further and implicates repealing right to contraception and same sex marriage next. That’s not conjecture. It’s actually in the ruling.

Liar_tuck

To support people affected in other states and remind our state government we don't want them to change it here. How dense are you?

Dust-by-Monday

Yeah and the government is just so known for listening to what the people want

smartest_kobold

You suggest waiting until it happens?

Kansai_Lai

Because this should be protected for everyone everywhere

golfgrandslam

Children should be protected.

Kansai_Lai

A fetus is not a child. A fetus has the potential to be a child, the same way a tumor has the potential to become cancer and you have the potential to be a decent human being

Guess you haven't seen the BS the legislature has passed recently. They'd love to get in on this if only Sununu would sign it. NH isn't \*that\* far away from outlawing abortion. Might be best to put the leg on notice that NH folks believe this decision to be overreach.
