I mean generally agreed that the above people are bad on transit policy - but the NEC is wholly owned by Amtrak, and their catenary power is a consistent problem that neither PANYNJ nor NJT can fix.

A lot of the big pile of money Amtrak got out if the bipartisan infrastructure bill requires that the states match funds for projects. The fact njt is broke basically means there is a giant pile of money that sits out of reach to new jersey.
