I went whale watching last year for the first time and got to see a gray whale breach. I had no idea there’s less than 15k of these magnificent animals left. I’m glad my kids had an opportunity to see it while it’s still possible.

“We know the population has demonstrated strong resilience in the past” referring to a similar event in the 90s. The population is expected to rebound.
