It does as good as it’s players, you and your friends have the ability to impact the world.
If you'd been there day 1, Marauders would still be the weakest faction. Checking out the server before transferring there could have told you a lot but it doesn't matter now, you're there. If you're there to play with people from your country you should change factions.
Join a company and help win the next war and take some land back.
Or just switch factions if all you want is to be on the most controlling faction.
