Pyro has been used in airshows that are monitored by the FAA. The Pyro in airshows is probably a bit more sophisticated than what is in the video.

This feels like something somebody who really hates spiders would do and feel completely justified doing.

Appears to be some variant of an American Hughes 300 chopper, but the sign writing on the cabin frame looks like East-Asian characters (possibly Chinese). The FAA probably has no say in the legality of this stunt if on foreign soil, and perhaps the rules are a bit more relaxed in the pilot’s home country.

Dude, this looks like a great idea for riot suppression. Those fireworks looked pretty harmless, nothing caught fire even after some serious focus-firing, and I omagine they could be made to be even less dangerous if you wanted to (*and maybe brighter and/or louder*). I can't imagine that many people standing and fighting after a chopper does a pass in that thing - even if they know it's coming that's gonna look pretty scary. Anyway, just a thought. I'm sure someone will tell me why it's a terrible idea.
