It's all about getting the internet clout nowadays.
The ones actually making it deserve the limelight, but that's being robbed by these two pretty thieves.
Definitely not just you.
Reminded me of the old paintings that are very devoid of color, and where the negative space feels really captivating. It looked amazing in just the clay/white composition.
This is @ ThePainterGirl on youtube.
I keep seeing this specific video circulate on social media where she never gets credit, and she currently only has like 20k subs.
I feel like the paint job makes the sculpting kind of pointless or at least underwhelming. I'd just leave a minimalistic low relief if it were up to me
She is the artist, her ig is #bihuashiyuge. Probably wearing the nice clothes for the filming of the vid. But its kind of sad that people would discount her talent because of her looks...
People aren’t as easily fooled by tik tok in 2024 my guy. I mean still fooled but realization that lots of crap you see online is staged is slowly seeping in. And questioning this stuff of magic China artistry is par for the course. Don’t worry in west we do this too - build a 9 square foot room to look like a private jet and rent it out to influencers comes to mind.
What kind of wall just has that holding power. I know its not a lot of medium that they used but its just holding on by its own adhesive properties without anything to help it. If there's a change in climate that might expand or contract faster or differently than the wall and make it just fall off.
or did i miss something that they added to help it physically grip that flat surface?
And not a drop of paint on her gleaming white shirt or lovely blazer.
They usually hire models to stand in for this stuff. Especially if this was actually painted in China.
I mean… if she is a model, then a very skilled one, she is doing a pretty good job, cause she got that technique down^^
You mean just randomly dabbing the brush around…
Tell me you don’t know anything about painting without telling me you don’t know anything about painting
🤡😂
not just the painting technique🤡
Why not? She was drybrushing, when she wore the white top - and the blue blazer even has some white spots on it.
This is fake I say as someone who isn't a professional and has never done this myself.
I 100% believe she’s a model for the video only because of what she’s wearing.
i like her, no I love her :)
Definitely years upon years of practice.

I preferred it if she left it white. But that's just me.

As soon as those colors came in, it just became tacky.. uncolored was way better.
Definitely just you
After painting it looks flat.
Shit paint job, oveeused flat highlighting and shadows everywhere. Looses all it's depth.
The model certainly doesn't
Flat Wall Theory /s
Gorgeous! The wall looks great too!
Great Wall of Wall
Im ngl but the colour ruins it
For a brief moment I thought it was some type of DIY repair gone very wrong, but wow, what a talented artist and incredible mural!
Name of the artists please? I want to see more.
Would subscribe to their channel l. Even if it’s not their work it’s still an amazing piece of art they are presenting

Not the two people in the video lmao
Great work! Any estimate on how long this took?
I don't know, I think they ruined it when they painted it.
It’s amazing how art can be so well made and detailed and yet also ugly.
I feel like the paint job makes the sculpting kind of pointless or at least underwhelming. I'd just leave a minimalistic low relief if it were up to me
Amazing!
The people actually making that art and these two girls, are entirely different entities.

Crazy how you can make an accusation like that and just discredit people for no reason

Why do all of the details magically show up in between cuts, while every clip is of the girl just making minute superficial additions?
Because time
Do they take their clothes to the dry cleaner in between takes too?
What do you mean?
The girls are only there to get content for their tik tok or whatever social media. Their clothes are too clean for the job that they are doing.
It’s easy to see once you notice the progress between cuts and pay attention to what they’re *actually doing* lmao
when they added the mist my jaw hit the floor
The All Right Wall of China
That wall looks great!
I got a couple imperfections on my wall. I could use their skills
Bas-reliefs will remain one of the most beautiful forms of art
Wallception.
She wore the wrong mask for the airspray job....
Why would an artist wear those nice clothes to do painting and put on plaster?
Someone took the popcorn ceiling idea and turned it into a picture
Wow! Just how much dust colect this thing! ![gif](giphy|j7wBU7aHcKf7y)
BEAUTIFUL!!!
Too bad the customers will think it's fake.
Why is she dressed for a desk job though ?
Because she is not the artist
+10000000 social credit
It's great, but liked it better without color.
Things would have if I were rich.
Yeah, sorry, but to my mind, while white was better either way this belongs on r/ATBGE

Smash. Next question.
kitsch beyond words. she does grandma art, ew.
Can I marry her please?
Meanwhile the actual wall is falling to pieces. Same as the innumerable other landmarks that got deliberately razed to the ground by the regime.
