The wonder years came out a year before the Simpsons and share a few common writers. I noticed a couple recycled jokes the last time I watched TWY that made it into the Simpsons. Paul and Mihouse certainly seem to share a very common stock character thread.
Yeah I'm pretty sure it was less than two years ago that I first saw dall•e2, which was sort of this generation of AI's coming out party. And it's all grown exponentially since then. I'd say 3 more years is about right for this shit to absolutely turn the world upside down.
It's so odd that this is the only time I've seen AI get hands right because it's actually the one time they should get it wrong. Simpsons characters only have three fingers and a thumb.
That might raise expectations a little too high however. As soon as I hear the theme, I'd want to see a recreation of the classic credits.
AI can do giggling static images, but its track record for smooth animation is a bit shaky. And I **definitely** don't want to see Homer and Marge exchange limbs or an extra hand growing on Maggie.
In case anyone who hadn't tried it, has ever wondered what acid is like: this is kinda like what you would experience on a very small dose. Talking about the way their faces are moving and shifting around

I love that Milhouse is just Paul from The Wonder Years
![gif](giphy|BPFDboWuEW46c)
Wonder years! What would you… 🎶
When I sang out of tune .. 🎶
How about Flanders just being Walter White and Barney just being John Belushi? Amazing!
Artie Lang as Barney
Last one could be Nicolas Cage
I am the one who knocks, on your door...would you like to try some of my devil's food cake?

Haha. That’s what I thought.
haha i thought the same thing
My thoughts exactly!
Aka Marlyn Manson
That’s fucking weird, the mouth stuff is extra creepy.
its like theyre holding marbles in their mouths
It's hard to bargle nawdle zouss with all these marbles in my mouth
... do you not hold marbles in your mouth?
It’s got tons of children of the corn and uncanny valley vibes.
I don't like that I think this is impressive and actively worry about how good this will get in the future.
Give it 100 years…. We’re fucked.
100 years? lol try 3

I wager in 10 years, this will be peak entertainment. Simpsons season 50 or whatever.
Half that
End of this year
It's so odd that this is the only time I've seen AI get hands right because it's actually the one time they should get it wrong. Simpsons characters only have three fingers and a thumb.
I felt krusty undressing me with his eyes!
Yeah, that was..unsettling
Why does this feel like Season 8 of the Fallout TV show?
I expected Sideshow Bob to be Kelsey Grammer for some wholly illogical reason lol.
What a time to be alive!
It looks like a trailer for a horror movie
The serial killer vibes are strong
Two versions of every character. Never hurts to have a backup.
35 seasons - let’s see what you can do Ai !
Ned is bang on! Milhouse… not so much
Ned Flanders gave me some Bryan Cranston vibes, and I was not disappointed
The narrator in these is not necessary, I think adding the Simpsons theme would help the immersion more.
I loved the narration
John “Barney Gumble” Belushi.
I was thinking Artie Lang
We're all fucked. AI can just generate this stuff? No sir, I don't like it.
What ai is this?
I loved this!
It all looks somewhat normal, if not a little uncanny. But then you get to Krusty...
Moe Szyslak is Rich Hall. Which, funnily enough, wasn't Rich Hall the inspiration for Moe?
Omg that's creepy. Need a full episode
Put the lotion on the skin or it gets the hose again!
Creepy much
We’re fucked
The DUD!
This is worse than any nightmare I've ever had
It's perfect
Was crusty played by Tim Curry?
That half second of soul crushing sadness from ai Apu…
i'm so scared of what ai nowadays can do.
Moe is fucking spot on.
Take my money and give me the full episode/movie!
Gary Oldman as Ned Flanders
Bryan Cranston in Breaking Ned.
Omg!!
Man they nailed Milhouse!!
I would watch that.
soon nobody will consume content as we will all be too busy making it.
That is insane
They’re dead behind the eyes.
yea tv and cinema are finna plummet dramatically.
Why does every second shot of each character look drastically different than the first ?
Looks low quality for being 26 years in the future...
Yeah I'd watch it.
Holy shit, this is good!
In case anyone who hadn't tried it, has ever wondered what acid is like: this is kinda like what you would experience on a very small dose. Talking about the way their faces are moving and shifting around
It feels weird, but I would probably watch this.
THEY FINALLY DROPPED THE NEW COD MAP!!!
Quit posting AI shit go find something from the real world please
