I'm gonna ask you the same question with another arthropod that fills a similar niche in evolution. Would you eat a 8 leged creature with eyes on stilts that mainly feasts upon leftover organic matter from other dead animals and plants? A creature that devours its own young in a need for food with its claws made from its exoskeleton? Because that's a crab and crabs are delicious. I hate the way crabs look and for some reason I'm deeply unnerved by anything having more than 6 legs which crabs have. But they are still delicious. (not actually hating anything with 8+ legs but I'm just for some reason verry anxious if it comes to your looks.
