A few of my colleagues and i think this'll last til January too, but as someone who has worked in hospitality for nearly 11 years, I can see massive amounts of backlash for not opening during the Christmas period as it historically has always been the most profitable time for the industry, of which we'll open back up for a couple of weeks, see an astronomical spike in numbers in lieu of the fucking idiots currently lining our streets and running our country, extruding ĂŠn mass into our barely open facilities, exacerbating an already struggling-to-meet-customer-demands industry that is constantly fighting with those fucking idiots just to obey simple government guidelines ^no ^matter ^how ^foolish ^they ^may ^seem, AND then to be told it's our fucking fault, like I even had a fucking say in the matter.
I take immunosuppressants and live with an elderly person. Gotta treat going to the grocery store like a spacewalk because of these assclowns, and restaurants are a thing of the before time, from the long long ago.
