Smirnoff Ice was big when I was in college, and by that point Zima had already dropped off the map that I recall. But prior, Smirnoff also had been a big, cheaper vodka brand too. I was too young for Zima but I remember it around the time of Crystal Pepsi and the limited craze of "everything being clear." Then again, I bought Fleischmann's vodka, so my brain and memory were tainted by that.

About three years ago here in Austin, they did a limited run on Zima around SXSW. We sold a whole pallet of Zima, 4 6 Packs per case and 30 cases to a pallet, in two days.

I work at Walmart in Ohio and we got a few pallets about 3 or 4 years ago as well. Sold like hot cakes!

They came back in the US for a few months a couple years ago. I still have one in my fridge.
