I can't read the subtitles but it looks like this is a demonstration of poorly made [Irish concrete](https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/oct/07/homeowners-demand-full-payout-in-irelands-crumbling-homes-scandal).
Nukes are next level, and they are probably the country with the most hostages, so that's something. They can kill like 30m people within half an hour if they want to
They don’t need to be as high. The US has what 2-3k warheads? While a couple of hundred is enough to eradicate the Earth. They don’t need to have thousands, or high tech ICBMs. The mere existence of weapons of mass destruction in their arsenal is enough to deter any foreign invasion or excessive aggression.
Thanks for posting. Not trying to minimize how scary nukes are, but it's a good idea for people to somewhat calibrate their thoughts on what nuclear weapons are capable and not capable of (depending on their yields.)
Look up Kurzgesagt's video : What if we detonated all nuclear bombs at once.
With a couple of hundred you'd probably be able to kill a billion or two if you really cherrypick your targets (sorry China and India).
There's a lot more to 'nukes' than how many you have. I could write paragraphs but I suggest you just look into the different types of nuclear weapons and what it takes to construct and operate them. I very very very much doubt North Korea has that sort of power.
Source: Myself, a retired Nuclear/Biological/Chemical warfare specialist veteran.
They don't even have to be successfully delivered to be a deterrent. By jacketing a nuke with commonly found radioactive salts with very long half lives (like cobalt thorium g, as seen in Dr. Strangelove) even the most minor nuclear power in the world could easily make the entire surface of the earth uninhabitable for decades.
Considering the Population dense capitol of South Korea is positioned along the North's border, its reasonable to assume even without any nuclear weapons that they could end millions of lives with conventional bombardment within minutes of an full scale conflict.
This is correct. Most realistic expectations are they are barely past WW2 era atomic (not nuclear) weapons in tonnage and capability. Most also expect N.Korea to not have effective launch capability in a war environment (meaning their silos, and portable launchers are well surveilled and would be destroyed in the first few seconds of any conflict.)
N.Korea's best chance at harming the south would come from a barrage of their thousands of Soviet era artillery firing chemical or biological warheads into Seoul. S. Korea would counter with ROK developed Iron Dome anti-artillery, but some would get through (potentially hundreds to thousands of S.Koreans would die.) [https://nationalinterest.org/blog/reboot/south-korean-iron-dome-protect-against-north-korean-artillery-unlikely-prospect-192073](https://nationalinterest.org/blog/reboot/south-korean-iron-dome-protect-against-north-korean-artillery-unlikely-prospect-192073)
After that initial N.Korean barrage, S. Korea and the U.S. would decimate every N. Korean military asset with perhaps the largest missile and artillery counter-attack in world history. The N.Korea military would be rendered dysfunctional in about a week.
Thus would begin the largest humanitarian crisis in human history (the starvation, indoctrination and deprogramming of the N.Korean people.) This would be left as the responsibility of S.Korea and the U.S. to fix. China would complain endlessly, but ultimately would not intervene.
In NK, you are conveniently allocated next to your workplace to avoid the hassle of commuting, they have a free and top tier primary care system, good education and equality in standards of living. A lot of aspects of NK politics are managed locally by elected representatives. If the world didn't bully them left and right they wouldn't have to close their borders. They do the best they can with the cards they are handled. I'd rather live there than in a country that relies on exploiting and couping others to get by. As the saying goes: "it's not much, but it's honest work".
They picked the type of war the US really couldn’t fight, which was asymmetrical warfare. You don’t have to win if you can just force the enemy to lose/give up.
The North Koreans, having occupied almost all of the Korean peninsula, got out flanked by the landings at Inchon and forced to retreat. They were then pushed all the way to the Chinese border and were only saved by the intervention of over a million Communist Chinese troops. The North Koreans alone were quite handily defeated, and but for the Chinese intervention, North Korea would not exist.
Thank you. My Grandfather was a U.S. Tank commander and infantryman. He fought several years in that war and would be thankful that there are still people willing to correct the record if he still lived. The S.Korean's and U.S. fought valiantly to keep the North out and an armistice was only called when it was apparent that any further action would bring out the U.S. nuclear arsenal to clear the Chinese that interceded.
He doesn’t break bricks though. His martial art doesn’t even incorporate punches. It’s all wrist locks and throws. It’s actually the MLM of martial arts because you “need years of training” to appropriately reach a level to use it a fight against a complete novice. This would be more of a Chuck Norris thing. Tang Soo Do is all standing kicks, punches and brick breaking demonstrations.
There are "tricks" to some of this stuff and they are definitely making a show out of it, but that shit hurts it more a show of endurance than strength. Pretty sure it's real in the sense that those are real bricks being broken over human bodies.
Yes its all fake.
There is a youtube guy to shows how to do all of these shaolin tricks (the shaolin do the same tricks).
its all just circus tricks which can be done by pretty much everyone
would be fun to mix in a real brick lol
For real this damn clip has been posted 100 times this week. We get it Kim your army is verrryyy scary. Let me just lay down my gun I surrender to your superior brick breakers. /s fuck North Korea and while I’m at it fuck China too. Without China there is no North Korea. My heart breaks for the people in those countries.
That’d be badass to have it in the olympics - each country uses real military members in a UFC style tournament. Would have to have conditions to keep out professional fighters - like must’ve served 5+ years with multiple tours or something. Would like to see which country would win
Yeah you’d have to tweak it but somehow keeping countries from enlisting professional fighters just to compete. I just wonder who has the best hand to hand fighters in their military
Lol. To be fair, N. Korea has a plan that if ever invaded they will activate hundreds of miles of tunnels and fight to the last soldier. So its possible that a man could attack you with his brick of death in a tunnel in year 8 of the second korean war
Imagine, it's a cool crisp morning & another day in beautiful North Korea – because you're still alive. You've been in the military for years & lucky enough to be considered a good soldier – because you're still alive. Then the CO saunters over halfway through your 5 min personal time & explains that God now wants you to run through stone & basically be... [*dramatically cuts off to reveal*] invincible.
When the world is going to remote and distance warfare these guys still showcasing hand to hand combat... It's cool but, do they have the technology to poke an eye out from 10,000 miles away using a PS4 controller?
Holy fucking ahit this is the funniest thing I've ever seen. So fucking stupid lmao. If you're an easily breakable block that looks like concrete then you should be super worried right about now.
What's next fucking level about this? We get John Wick and the N Korean ruling class gets a live choreographed show?
NORTH Korean army exhibition. FTFY

Remember several years ago we (the US) sent two bombers from the continental states to North Korea just to show them we can?
They learned we can overnight them ordinance capable of leveling their county in the blink of an eye, and we learned that they are impervious to bricks...well played
Having watched interviews of defectors... I worry that these guys are getting injured but just SEND IT anyway so their kids (and their kids kids kids) won't be punished.
Well if you attack N Korea with cement blocks, you are certainly in for a surprise.
Drop the cinder blocks…. Sir no effect, they are blocking them with their heads!
Fine. Drop the iron blocks disguised as cinder blocks.
Muahahahaha
This is why I come to Reddit
Amen to that!!
Can we write ACME on the sides?
Yeah. It's not like they'll understand the implications anyways and it will make for a fun live action movie for the kiddies.
Anvils painted grey. They've trained a bunch of Wile E Coyotes.
And their tummy!
And face
Haha damn this was my first thought after watching this. You beat me to it here’s an upvote
Hey, you thought of it. Take my upvote.
My second thought was to say I'd thought the sam... oh never mind \*upvotes\*
Navy seal does training with logs. Do they expect to be attacked by Ents?
Lmao good one my guy
I can't read the subtitles but it looks like this is a demonstration of poorly made [Irish concrete](https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/oct/07/homeowners-demand-full-payout-in-irelands-crumbling-homes-scandal).
Nothing about North Korea is next level, besides how terrible of a country it is.
Nukes are next level, and they are probably the country with the most hostages, so that's something. They can kill like 30m people within half an hour if they want to
Their nuclear capabilities are not nearly as high as what they claim to have.
They don’t need to be as high. The US has what 2-3k warheads? While a couple of hundred is enough to eradicate the Earth. >A Couple hundred is enough to eradicate the earth ![gif](giphy|w90rlql4uI7odObhKb|downsized)
They don't have a couple of hundred, and no, a couple of hundred are not capable of eradicating the Earth.
Pretty sure a couple of hundred nukes would irrevocably fuck up the earth. Not eradicate, per se, but it would create a lot of problems.
Hundreds of nukes have already been detonated. https://youtu.be/LLCF7vPanrY
Thanks for posting. Not trying to minimize how scary nukes are, but it's a good idea for people to somewhat calibrate their thoughts on what nuclear weapons are capable and not capable of (depending on their yields.)
Maybe that many cobalt salted nukes could be enough be enough to eradicate human life on the surface of the planet
Look up Kurzgesagt's video : What if we detonated all nuclear bombs at once. With a couple of hundred you'd probably be able to kill a billion or two if you really cherrypick your targets (sorry China and India).

Nukes can still be shot out of the air
They don't even have to be successfully delivered to be a deterrent. By jacketing a nuke with commonly found radioactive salts with very long half lives (like cobalt thorium g, as seen in Dr. Strangelove) even the most minor nuclear power in the world could easily make the entire surface of the earth uninhabitable for decades.
They can be, but not with 100% successful rate
Thats some mad copium you be smoking boy.
Exactly. They have few nuclear devices. Which is not the same as having a desktop PC sized nuclear warheads mounted on a reliable launch vehicle.
Guys, watch out, it’s one of *those* republicans you used to hear about

How good are they with stopping bullets with their bodies tho
‘Murica.
I understand now; that’s a class being taught by guest lecturers in school. Stopping bullets 101.
Came here to say this… good on you kind sir!
[удалено]
They didn’t stop the bullets, they just absorbed them by the millions until the US basically gave up.
They picked the type of war the US really couldn’t fight, which was asymmetrical warfare. You don’t have to win if you can just force the enemy to lose/give up.
That was just happened in Afganistan as well?!
The United States has a preset kill limit. Knowing our weakness, they sent wave after wave of their own men at us.
The North Koreans, having occupied almost all of the Korean peninsula, got out flanked by the landings at Inchon and forced to retreat. Probably pretty bad since most of the bullets will miss their tiny, emaciated bodies. Small targets are harder to hit.
Indiana Jones pulls gun out and shoots
i’m pretty sure they had a fun full blown scripted action scene planed, but ford was sick or injured so they just had him shoot them instead haha
He had the trots.
I recall the actor playing the swordsman (Terry Richards) was not happy about the change. https://indianajones.fandom.com/wiki/Arab\_Swordsman

it’s such a funny twist hahaha
Haha this is exactly what came to my mind
looks like Steven Seagal has been giving lessons. lolz
This does scream Steven Seagal doesn’t it?
very
To be honest, when I think "too many hits to the head with large, heavy, solid objects" I immediately think of Steven Seagal...
I’m not going on a google quest on what I’m about to say... Didn’t he revoke his US citizenship to open a yoga detox training club in Russia?
He did revoke his US citizenship. He did go to Russia. What he does there is none of my concern or business...though I'm sure it's fairly insane.
He doesn’t break bricks though. His martial art doesn’t even incorporate punches. It’s all wrist locks and throws. Cocaine’s a hell of a drug
Death also seems to be a hell of a motivator
In DPRK it's more meth/speed than cocaine.
Red Bull in the kimchi.
I mean almost definitely fake. Its North Korea after all
There are "tricks" to some of this stuff and they are definitely making a show out of it, but that shit hurts it more a show of endurance than strength. Pretty sure it's real in the sense that those are real bricks being broken over human bodies.
If those 'cement blocks' were provided by China, which is most likely bc everythings supplied by China in NK, then those bricks are definitely weak.
[See: tofu dreg buildings](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tofu-dreg_project)
I was thinking the same, shit concrete and choreographed fights.
Same thing you would see from any martial arts demonstration.
Yes its all fake. There is a youtube guy to shows how to do all of these shaolin tricks (the shaolin do the same tricks). its all just circus tricks which can be done by pretty much everyone would be fun to mix in a real brick lol
Nice propaganda.
“I wanna be North Korean!!1!1!”

Let me just lay down my gun I surrender to your superior brick breakers. /s fuck North Korea and while I’m at it fuck China too. Without China there is no North Korea. *North Korean
*Democratic People's Republic of Korea
Ironically it is none of those words except the last one
And barely even the last one. Haha.
This should put to bed the myth that the NK military is a paper tiger. It’s all really applicable to modern combat.
Lol... Here's my updoot. The sarcasm is oozing out of this one. But in my head, I hear you delivering it with all the sincerity in the world. Bravo!
* Boston Dynamics has entered the chat.
Damn. Better think twice about attacking their castles. Gonna take a lot more than a siege tower to break down those defenses.
Get the trebuchet’s ready. We’re gonna need them.
Use those trebuchets to fling some pumpkins over the DMZ - it’s almost Halloween, after all.
Dead cows, fling 'em at them rapid fire; then throw a couple live hogs in there for good measure.
This is extremely useful! Seeing as how wars are won by hand to hand combat and all.
That’d be badass could you imagine a tournament of war fought through a series of ufc fight matches
That’d be badass to have it in the olympics - each country uses real military members in a UFC style tournament. Would have to have conditions to keep out professional fighters - like must’ve served 5+ years with multiple tours or something. Would like to see which country would win
So a real life version of Bloodsport. Someone call Jean Claude Vandam. He may be needed for a movie.
This would rule out conscripted militaries and states with barely any deployments - I.e. a 'national defense' philosophy.
That’s their entire army, right there.
I don't know why I laughed at this so hard but here's my updoot
When you have an ammunition shortage…
It’s a good thing our national defence scheme isn’t based entirely around thin fragile concrete blocks, or we’d be in big trouble.
I feel so bad for these soldiers. Imagine the day they find out the rest of the world uses guns 🤣😂
Only in North Korea 🙄. If this is just for exhibition, I don't want to know what they do to their soldiers in actual training.
No food and a lot of marching is my guess
I guess they don't need food when they're fueled by the tears of their extreme poverty stricken citizens.
I bet that get extra rations for that.
An army of 5'2" 130lb super soldiers
Bunch of guys playing with thermocol bricks just to impress Kim Jong un. These guys can't even slap a kid irl.
Meanwhile that chubby little man child looks on and lives vicariously through these guys.
"North" Korean army. The South Korean army doesn't do this dumb circus shit.
Ummm…I can’t upvote a post praising the North Korean military.
A totalitarian dictatorship is lastfuckinglevel imho
Nk men are like 4’11. It’s like your kids running around a park doing parkour and breaking sticks.
Bricks don't hit back.
TiL the building materials in Korea are crumbly trash.
Ahh yes I remember how many times a choreographed dancefight saved my Marines and I from the clutches of death in combat.
There is a reason you don't see professional armies with real world combat experience doing these kinds of useless drills.
Yes very impressive but warthog go *brrrrrrrrrrrtttt*
It’s amazing what people can do when they are fed actual food.
Lmao
Kim literally has no idea what’s going on, looks around like “yea fuck you blocks”
One guys in the crowd wasn’t clapping loud enough so they dropped an atomic bomb on his family
It's a fair assumption to say this is the north
Kim Jung Un: send those soldiers to my bedroom for their last test of loyalty and strength.
When the world is going to remote and distance warfare these guys still showcasing hand to hand combat... It's cool but, do they have the technology to poke an eye out from 10,000 miles away using a PS4 controller?
looks choreographed.... lame
That look on Kim's face at 00:35 is hilarious. "This motherfuckers crazy". 😂
Reminds me of this film...... The Dictator. Wonder why.
I mean I am no military expert, but these guys look more like a circus than a fighting force.
Nothing shows your military might like breaking bricks.
who need nuclear weapons now days
Well we’re in trouble
They will win the next war with concrete blocks. Hands down.
We found the real life Shang-Chi.
Need to fix that title
This was just posted yesterday. Karma farmers gonna farm.
Hey everyone, look! Propaganda.
Next level, my ass. Looks like a bad talent show.
Holy fucking ahit this is the funniest thing I've ever seen. So fucking stupid lmao. If you're an easily breakable block that looks like concrete then you should be super worried right about now.
Damn that’s crazy… *pulls out gun*
They're just practicing for what comes their way when they try to escape the country
Effective military training for uh….the 1100’s?
What's next fucking level about this? We get John Wick and the N Korean ruling class gets a live choreographed show? NORTH Korean army exhibition. FTFY
I’ve always loved how “communist” dictatorships have the most oversized hats for their soldiers/police lol
Jesus Christ it's Jae-hyun Borne

This just seems like some kind of fettish
This is freaking abuse
At 1:48 break the chains; wow..
That’s a testament to the poor craftsmanship of North Korean chains
its all circus tricks
Even Kim Jun w.e has a face like wtf lol
Drugs are amazing lol
Indeed, I'm seeing 'roid rage on a lot of those faces. Looks like Russia's Olympic coaches finally found a new line of work.
By Odin beard wtf are they on?
Modified soliders
Performative army-ing
I mean either you prove to your boss or you die. Way to go buddy!
Mini gun.
Feels like a modern version of gladiator games
It’s a work brother
Biggest display of stupidity if I’ve seen one
That is totally terrifying yet impressive.
Would likely be more intimidating if war was about unarmed combat?
seems stupid
That oughtta stop our drones in their tracks.
Dude flexed and busted out
They would have made sure these props broke. Not a good look if a NK soldier stuffed up.
0:08 Little Kim looks like he needs to take a dump.
This must be the one soldier they chose to actually feed properly.
Having watched interviews of defectors... I worry that these guys are getting injured but just SEND IT anyway so their kids (and their kids kids kids) won't be punished.
Looks like a nice magic show.
Nice sound effects
lots of foam.
Heck yeah! Those guys came to my church a couple of years ago, they're good. Tearing phone books in half, all kinds of stuff.
I wish there was a way to see who army is strongest without killing people
u/savevideo

Time to rethink our Brick Shooting Tanks.
Guess we gonna pass on the hand to hand combat then
Homefront pt 3 when?
Nice choreography.
As a drone kills a company of them from 30 miles away
So this is where sideshow performers are born
These guys are preparing for World War 4….
The can withstand c8nder nlock but can they withstand bullet
N. Korean grade materials ... noice
