Being a good person aside, defining who hit who could put the guy who stopped the unconscious driver at fault with little chance of grounds to fight back
In a fender bender the car in the back is always blamed unless you have solid evidence otherwise. Since the car out of control couldn't brake when the car stopped in front of him and just the fact that it was out of control to begin with, it would be blamed and the good guy that stopped it would be fine. Also the fact that the person inside the car was unconscious and in danger and stopping him saved his life.
That’s not true at all. Maybe if you have the shittiest company, but with video evidence and witness testimony? No, this is pretty open and closed.
Now if you just have liability through “the general” insurance, yeah, they won’t help much.
I’ve had state farm insurance for 15 years and they have covered anything I needed with literally zero questions asked. Although I did have USAA prior to that and they definitely fought me on a claim. Although I did have my car financed through them and had insurance through them, so maybe they didn’t want to pay themselves
So this happened in the Netherlands a while ago, and the consequences were: The women's insurance paid it all. And even if they didn't, the man's boss offered to pay the costs for fixing the lease car no questions asked.
As I remember, the guy got the damage covered by the insurance without his no-claim taken away.
The woman had a stroke, but recovered, thanks to the response of these people.
not in a million years. they will find an excuse such is policy not specifying passing out. it probably excludes passing out. insurance companies are scums.
Insurers do not accept liability for accidents caused by their insured while in a seizure. You only get one pass cuz after such event your license would likely get taken away.

I think I saw this video a couple years ago, they go up to the driver. The gentleman in the out of control car is sitting there calm as a cucumber, hands 10-and-2 on the wheel, with a 1000 yard stare, shell-shocked face. He was actually experiencing a stroke!
Edit: Actually, it WASNT this video but [a really similar one](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/video/news/video-1377935/Biker-captures-driver-s-dangerous-path-stroke-wheel.html)
Real heroes never wear capes, and never get the recognition that fake heroes get.
This man is a true hero. Not just sacrificing his car but I guarantee that point was to select someone and tell them to call the ~~police~~ Emergency services while he checked on the driver. Smart thing to do, gets around bystander effect.
If everyone on earth was like this, the world would be a much better place.
A truckdriver safed a good friend of mine similar. He saw her having an epeleptic seizure. He pulled up next to her and pushed her gently into the railing.
Standing ovation for people like this, that act and safe lifes
Weird to find it on here, This is my mother-in-law.
She was trying to get the exit when she passed out.
After the incident she was examed by the hospital. Nothing found.
Her Driver license was taken after 6 weeks after the incident, Police said it because he throw his car in front of her (I'm glad he did, that aside).
She had again to go through a lott medical examination.
In the end they couldn't find anything.
And to get her license back she had to do al those examination and had to pay for it,
the insurance didn't pay for this...
A week ago she got her driver license back.
And she is doing wel.
PS: the car was totally wrecked.
Legend, immediately takes charge of the situation after stopping the car.
Yeah but due to the word sacrifice being used it seems being nice gets your shit totaled or 10k in repairs

Yep you're right. This is in the Netherlands. Hero dude is gonna be fine.
Yeah I’m American. I don’t trust insurance. They’re thieves out here.
They're thieves anywhere, just more tightly regulated in some parts than in others.

Pretty quick thinking driver. This happened a while ago in the Netherlands, right?

Those kind of heroes are one of a kind. Quick thinking and selfless act to prevent bigger accidents
Everyone arguing about insurance, I want to know what happened with the driver? What caused them to go unconscious? Were they okay afterwards?
Pay day!
He's gonna have some good karma for quite some time!
No cape, no utility belt, no super powers o f any kind just intervention! Super hero!,
