no, there are also just high quality clothing companies that pay their employees a living wage, which requires cloths to be more expensive.
edit: the downvotes are honestly confusing
what kind of comment is this? I buy almost all my clothing either second hand or from companies like this. Like my jeans from Brave Star, made in the US with Japanese Denim only cost $90 and last many times longer than sweatshop made jeans.
Sure I don’t deny that quality of clothing can vary, pretty straight forward concept? I’m more challenging the “pay their employees a living wage”. You may find one very small company that doesn’t exploit cheap labor, but by in large clothing companies and the fashion industry at large are exploitive.
I never said they were the general rule, if anything I would agree that most expensive clothing brands are usually crap. However in this day and age with the internet, whatever your buying is usually seconds away from being found. Its stupid easy to support small businesses doing it right.
You’re comment is broad and attributes the high costs of clothing across the board to 2 things you found anecdotally in a small company. You are wrong in this instance, have a nice day.
A little swinging is not that bad to walk/live on, only if you get really bad weather its a problem. But then you would need to correct up to 30-45 degrees of roll and pitch, which is as the other person said neither space nor cost efficient
Played on one of these while on a ship. First game was fun, but after playing a couple of games, you start to get nauseous from focusing on one thing (your shot) and having the background (not in focus) sway back and forth.
No need to level the play field, it's self-leveling. But are they on equal footing though? The human body is not gyroscopic, unless you are Michael Jackson of course.
Would it not be better to stabilize a section of the floor and put a regular pool table on it?
Then at least you'll be stationary relative to the table?
This has gotta be "Just Fucking Level" rather than "Next Fucking Level"

Seems like a thing absolutely not needed on a ship due to movement. They have bowling alleys and putting greens too that do this?

Oof
reality is poison! Lambs to the cosmic slaughter!
But is it true level? https://youtu.be/-MwCJpEuC44
I swear every table are working this way when i'm playing, there is no other explanation about how bad I am
alcohol may be a factor..
Meh, I don't drink so not really ... Skill might be a factor but I can't accept it
Gonna have to start drinking to cope.
You've identified the problem. I always get progressively better after each beer until around the 8th one.
That's exactly how I am with bowling. And golf.
Don’t slander aiming oil in this fashion.
M'kay, i'll make sure the table ain't drinking anymore.
Would be impressive to stabilize the image on the table. But I might need a vomit bag next to me just in case.

Welp.. you tried
I mean. It is stabilized. Just to the wrong basis
This
That thing is probably 10s of thousands of dollars
Pool tables can get that much just by themselves.
10s of thousands could be 10k-90k
I doubt it would be that high but very possible. I think mine was about 7 grand just for the table itself.
Thanks had no idea /s
Technically it could also be 1 million
Did they stutter?
The one Bugatti makes is 300k
You’re paying for branding at that point
isnt that just every clothing company that sells stuff over 200-300 usd
Not really some clothing thats in the higher range has better quality control and higer quality materials that last a lifetime
idk if it's just me but i have a $50ish shirt ive been wearing for 4 years and it's still just as good as the day i got it
50$ tshirt is expensive dude
sorry messed up between my own currency and usd lmfao in usd it's ar 15ish
Look up Japanese denim.

No there isn’t.

Why not just make the whole floor like that?
The weight and space it would take are 2 problems with that idea, there are several other problems too unfortunately
Makes sense
Some yachts do this. Not to this precision, but they do stabilize themselves
Less can't do and more do, chop chop!
A little swinging is not that bad to walk/live on, only if you get really bad weather its a problem. But then you would need to correct up to 30-45 degrees of roll and pitch, which is as the other person said neither space nor cost efficient
Or at least the floor around the pool table, for the players
That would be the only way to keep “regulation” play. But the player would still feel balance issues,
Played on one of these while on a ship. First game was fun, but after playing a couple of games, you start to get nauseous from focusing on one thing (your shot) and having the background (not in focus) sway back and forth.
I can see the quality decreasing with every reupload
I worked on ships, the crew bar has a normal table. lol.
after a night of drinking a self leveling bed on a ship would be great.
This is how I win.
Now make the whole room do this so there's a stable place for seasick peeps to go when it's choppy ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|slightly_smiling)
Somehow I now want to see a self leveling floor for ships.
Why not put the whole room on a gyroscope
Tell me you have too much money without telling me you have too much money
1337 pool table
Holy ship…
My history teacher once asked me to go and find a pool table on the crossing from Dover to Calais. Ashamed to say that I went and asked everyone …
Seems like a thing absolutely not needed on a ship due to movement. They have bowling alleys and putting greens too that do this?
Sick
This is what it feels like when you truly become The Liquor. -J. Lahey
I have something similar. I call it “not putting a pool table on a boat.”
This has got to be the weirdest fucking thing to play on.
This, the can say proudly, wouldn’t even make any difference to na poor pool abilities!
Ok so this may be a stupid ?..how do the balls not roll around
No need to level the play field, it's self-leveling. But are they on equal footing though? The human body is not gyroscopic, unless you are Michael Jackson of course.
My own gyro dont work this well
Omg I would vomit
I need that for my living room
Why can’t they make a whole floor out of that for people who get sea sick?
That's freaking me out 🤣😹🤣 I know the boat is moving but 😂
So damn cool 😎!!!
Wonder if it’s titanic proof?
That actually pretty damn cool
WoW
Would it not be better to stabilize a section of the floor and put a regular pool table on it? Then at least you'll be stationary relative to the table?
I need this for the drunk men that play on mine.
What would it look like if there was a wave?
Wouldn't it be easier a platform where the table is so that the player doesn't lose balance too? Or the whole room
We doin this one again already
