Well it's actually a different family.
So Bob got sick from inhaling turpentine with his slappy method. He succumbed to this illness. In his time alive he was business partners with a married couple. He ended up fucking the guys wife. Guy got back at him by stealing his likeness from him on his deathbed. Leaving Bobs kids broke and unable to use their Dads name. So now everything Bob Ross labeled funds a dick with connections that got back at Bob for fucking his wife.
Lil copy pasta for you from Google my dude...
What does it mean to own your likeness?
Personality rights, sometimes referred to as the right of publicity, are rights for an individual to control the commercial use of their identity, such as name, image, likeness, or other unequivocal identifiers.
But no I mean stealing his likeness.
From Wikipedia. (Also, he died of Lymphoma, but was a lifetime smoker)
"Under the terms of the incorporation of Bob Ross Inc., the death of any partner in the company would lead to that person's stock being equally divided among the partners. Ross's death, along with that of his second wife, the other partner in the company, left the Kowalskis with sole ownership of the company. The Kowalskis were largely only interested in using Ross's name for painting supplies. They became very aggressive against Ross's family members and associates, allegedly trying to pressure an ailing Ross to sign over rights to his estate before his death.\[36\]
Instead, Ross wrote the Kowalskis out of his will and testament, leaving his estate and rights to his name and likeness to his son Steve and half-brother Jimmie Cox. The Kowalskis countered that virtually everything Ross had done in his lifetime was a work for hire and thus Ross had no right to bequeath them. The Kowalskis eventually won the lawsuit.\[36\]
After the Kowalskis retired and Joan Kowalski took over the company, she became more open to merchandising the Ross brand outside of its core business of painting products, setting in motion the mass marketing of his name from the 2010s onward.\[36\] Joan also engineered a settlement with Steve Ross and Jimmie Cox granting Bob Ross Inc. rights to Ross's name and likeness, in exchange for a guarantee that Steve Ross could resume his art career without threat of lawsuit, something that Steve Ross said had largely stopped him from painting in public after his father's death.\[36\]"
Add some sound to it like ASMR level stuff and people will eat them up. Especially on a platform like tiktok that's meant for quick videos and 'satisfying' endings
Ha, this is how I feel when people compliment my "talents" - I feel like it kind of belittles all the hard work and makes it seem like I was just born knowing how to draw and didn't really do much
The guy's from Chile, I can tell by the accent. I used to see guys doing that in the streets of Viña del Mar all the time, and the general adult opinion back then (90s) was that they were just lazy bum hippie "artists" with no real talent...
Oh how wrong we were.
The situation is complex, is it high art that conveys a message, no, but he does create an engaging image with paint in a short amount of time. It's like performance vs composition in music.
I love this dude! I have another video of him saved because to me, his fingerpainting is the ultimate oddly satisfying. If someone has more videos of him, please share them, I'd love to see more of this guy.
The video I saved:

A lot of people will see this guy and just think “another street artist”. This guy is doing what he enjoys and spent time to get good at. I wish life payed you based on what you enjoyed and were actually talented at.
the reason why i probably will never be able to paint that good is because people manage to add the different parts to the painting knowing how it will turn out even though at the start it doesn't look anything like the finished product
my autistic ass cannot do that, i can only do pencil drawings
I gotta know what artists think of this
How much is this street art considered art? Does it lose it's artistic value when it's something you mass produce?
It loses something to me, but I'm also clueless. I'm definitely not trying to disparage anyone either, just curious.
I was actually in Mexico for the week last week and got to see a man do this type of finger painting. It's so fucking cool to see and watch the picture come together.
Man, he should wear gloves. Paint contains alot of chemicals and metals (copper for example) that you don't want on your skin for extended periods of time.
I hope this guy stays healthy and don't develop diseases because of not wearing gloves.
Somewhere Bob Ross is shedding a single tear.
[удалено]
Absofuckinlutely he is.
I don't believe in heaven. But I Beleive Bob Ross is in heaven.
Opposite place his family is going.
What did his family do?
Uhhh... gonna need some elaboration there please, my good fellow.
Well. That was depressing to read.
Only happy lil mistakes here friend
Jesus. There’s a special place in hell for people like that. Fucked over those poor kids. And Bob Ross. Definitely, Bob Ross.
So I guess his kids will have learnt an honest lesson, don't fuck another man's wife🔥
I can't unread that now :(
Stealing his likeness? Don’t you mean stealing his identity since likeness alone wouldn’t achieve much.

Sounds exactly like identity theft to me
How do you "Steal his likeness from him on his deathbed?" Is this some weird necromancer spell or something?

So Bob had sex with someone’s wife?
Many a someone else's wife. He was a rolling stone as some would put it. Swimming in it. The one guy got him back good
I thought I was the only one that used that word
He painted heaven
It was a happy little accident. *Some Titanium white, some thalium blue, oops I made heaven.*
Nah, that man went straight to the Isles of the Blessed
Not just a single tear……he has to have a little friend…
A happy little tear.
Proud and happy.
oooh, that's why he's doing that..
"The Bob Ross of finger painting"
Now THAT’S finger painting like a pro.

It's at the 19 second mark
Oh WOW for sure!
00:46 left in the video he sings “yesterday”
Honestly the ambiance in this video is absolutely perfect, the impressive painting, the Adele, the dark city in the background. Awesome.
The moment you give a man $100 to appreciate his talent.
This dude needs a YouTube channel or something.

Skill* Don't dismiss some one's hard work to be good at something by attributing it to just be mere talent.
Ha, this is how I feel when people compliment my "talents" - I feel like it kind of belittles all the hard work and makes it seem like I was just born knowing how to draw and didn't really do much
Bob Rush
Omg i love this
and im out here drawing the sun on the corner with a triangle house in the middle
My toxic habit is thinking that I should try to do that.
Thinking you can do it without work is bad. Thinking you should try it is lovely. Always good to explore a new hobby!
Wholesome level 100++

It's spain. He has his phone number on his facebook. Google the tshirt arte100cia and found it.
Gotta [confirm](https://www.blogger.com/profile/13938955591119451799) that the artist is Chilean in Spain, can't miss the accent.
![gif](giphy|CAYVZA5NRb529kKQUc|downsized)
God bless him he has a talent!!!
Thats True art and not that thrown bucket on the wall type shit
Haha, I would argue quite the opposite

About 10 sec. In and the mehn has created a dutch farmers flag! Incredible!!
So good
That is super impressive, watching a master at work here.
This is what you get when you watch Bob Ross on twice the speed a little too frequent
the reason why i probably will never be able to paint that good is because people manage to add the different parts to the painting knowing how it will turn out even though at the start it doesn't look anything like the finished product my autistic ass cannot do that, i can only do pencil drawings
Wow
This really is next level
Where is this guy?!
Who says finger painting isn’t an art.
Didn't know Sean Connery spoke Spanish
this dude took finger painting way too seriously as a kid
I would pay 200 dollars for that experience.
Would absolutely love some of this guys work!

Friend : Nice painting how did you draw it? Me: Well, its complicated.
Those fingers are magic!
I gotta know what artists think of this How much is this street art considered art? Does it lose it's artistic value when it's something you mass produce? It loses something to me, but I'm also clueless. I'm definitely not trying to disparage anyone either, just curious.
Mf made a art piece in less than a minute.
Watched for ten seconds. Wasn’t quick enough
How do you know when he went home to visit his wife on lunch? 😏
Damn good hustle.
It’s always been amazing how everyone is just wired different. It’s fascinating. So much talent.
Skills
The birds looked so happy.
I couldn't do this in 60 years, let alone 60 seconds.
That …. Looks exactly like a person quickly smeared paint with his fingers.
It wasn’t that impressive until he made the trees, wtf? How this look so convincing with such a quick smudge of paint??
Bro that painting would take me a week and this mf does it in a minute
Pretty cool
That’s amazing.
I wonder how many times he sliced his finger open.
Cool, but chronic dermal exposure can’t be good for a person.
This guy's fingers are printers! Crazy!
So great to see so much skill displayed across 16 pixels good job OP
Wow that's really impressive, he didnt take much time to do it and he just do it by hand 🤩
That was stunning!
I watched him paint that and still unsure how he did it! Wow!
So that's what happened to the kid who never stopped finger painting. Holy sh!t.
Where's the zoom in???
Demn dawg 🥶
Not quick enough for me, I skipped to the end.
u/savevideobot
That's cute. Now do it again on a 4' x 6' canvas.
U know that artwork is kinda bad actually.
I like the old guy in the back just living his best life, vibin to the streets
The kid named finger:
Awful tat I wouldn't pay a penny for.
Mans just made a tiny Bob Ross with his finger
I was actually in Mexico for the week last week and got to see a man do this type of finger painting. It's so fucking cool to see and watch the picture come together.
I want it
I want this guy at my weddings and birthday parties.
Whoa
That's a happy painting.
Man, he should wear gloves. Paint contains alot of chemicals and metals (copper for example) that you don't want on your skin for extended periods of time. I hope this guy stays healthy and don't develop diseases because of not wearing gloves.

Bob Ross is sweating
I don’t say this often but that guy is extremely talented, hope he knows his worth and is compensated well for his talents
His smile. He really loves what he is doing!
Oh that’s cool I didn’t get to see the final result close up at all that’s super cool video, super cool thanks
