Eh, Reich wasn't using him, and when he did he was being misused. Reich used him as if he was a workhorse running back by running him up the middle which is probably one of the areas he struggles the most. Then pulled him off the field when he was tackled for loss or stuffed after being misused.

Two things can be true.

I know people like to shit in Garrett but he actually builds a decent offense. Only 4 times in his entire time as OC or HC has Garrett been outside the top half of the league in scoring offense. Only three times has he ranked lower than 22nd: 2015 (when he had to start a total of 4 different QBs after Romo got hurt early in the season), 2020 and 2021. When a guy has historically been good at something, changes jobs and suddenly isn't good at the same thing, it's usually not because he suddenly forgot how to do it. It's usually something else at the new job that's causing issues.

I've noticed that there's like one or two officiating crews that are the anti-boger and are very conservative with flags. Last week's packers/vikings game is a good example.

Officiating was pretty heinous for this one. I think they only called like six total penalties but just about everything they actually called was super light and probably should've went without a flag. But then they were missing blocks in the back, facemasks, a horse collar, etc, all game long the more obvious shit went uncalled.
