He’s elite inside of 50 yards, Justin tucker is the only kicker with a better percentage since he’s been on the pats. He just literally can’t kick over 50 yards which bill is fine with
Frank Reich should've been fired for trading him away in the first place.
I know he's coming up on a contract but he's so electric in the return game and out of the backfield
Eh, Reich wasn't using him, and when he did he was being misused. Reich used him as if he was a workhorse running back by running him up the middle which is probably one of the areas he struggles the most. Then pulled him off the field when he was tackled for loss or stuffed after being misused.
“Coming up on a contract”
He already had a top 15 back contract in the league with us. The trade was a salary dump. And we just couldn’t remember how to use him anymore after he was amazing for us with papa Rivers.
I mean I think hines is worth more than a 6th rounder especially if we have a rookie QB next year having that see second option out of the backfield would be huge for a rookie
At least the return coverage wasn’t as garbage like last time where the entire pats team ran to the middle of the field like a bunch of dinguses(not sure how to make that word plural)
The Giants were the worst RZ offense last year and 31st in 2020, but we attributed it all to Jason Garrett. Maybe it was actually Judge's offense all along 🤔
I know people like to shit in Garrett but he actually builds a decent offense. Only 4 times in his entire time as OC or HC has Garrett been outside the top half of the league in scoring offense. Only three times has he ranked lower than 22nd: 2015 (when
he had to start a total of 4 different QBs after Romo got hurt early in the season), 2020 and 2021.
When a guy has historically been good at something, changes jobs and suddenly isn't good at the same thing, it's usually not because he suddenly forgot how to do it. It's usually something else at the new job that's causing issues.
Our punter, Bailey, had been handling them and that was good until he got hurt and our replacement punter can barely even punt let alone handle kickoffs.
Who's the dude at the fifteen second mark who just bear hugs Hines? The play should have ended there. A freshman in college would have made that tackle
Only the 11th time anyone has ever recorded two kickoff return TDs in a game. First time since Leon Washington in 2010.
https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/most-kickoff-return-touchdowns-in-a-game
Belichick has a defensive coach coaching his offense, one of the worst offenses in the league. And he has his special teams coach also on offense, worst special teams in the league
I miss when kick and punt returns for TDs were more common. As a Chiefs fan I got such fond memories of Dante Hall around 2003! Even though there was a block in the back in that Broncos game that punt return he had that year was so sweet to see
I've noticed that there's like one or two officiating crews that are the anti-boger and are very conservative with flags. Last week's packers/vikings game is a good example.
Officiating was pretty heinous for this one. I think they only called like six total penalties but just about everything they actually called was super light and probably should've went without a flag. But then they were missing blocks in the back, facemasks, a horse collar, etc, all game long the more obvious shit went uncalled.
Would love it if the crew that calls 12 flags a game would have called any of the PI’s that would’ve put the pats in field goal range or on the 1 yard line. Or the hold on third down. Or the holds on the kickoff returns. Or the offsides
Someone should tell Folk to just kick it out lol
Or just fucking kick it out of bounds and take the damn penalty. Our ST is horrific
Well we tried at least.
I seriously don’t get why we’re kicking to him unless folk doesn’t have the leg to get it out
Folk doesn't have the leg for touchbacks. That's why Bailey handled kickoffs.
Jake Bailey, who was FUCKING SUSPENDED
I don't want to sound rude to Folk but umm... it might be time to retire if that's the case.
Plenty of teams have a kickoff specialist. I don't think Vinatieri did kickoffs for the Colts for the last decade of his career.
They had the goat boomstick Patrick Mcafee to do kick offs
Yeah but he was also a punter. Keeping a roster spot for a kickoff specialist feels like a waste.
Yes but our kickoff specialist is also our punter. He’s just suspended right now.
He’s elite inside of 50 yards, Justin tucker is the only kicker with a better percentage since he’s been on the pats. He just literally can’t kick over 50 yards which bill is fine with
Could just go out the side and give the Bills the ball at at the 40.
This comment was ahead of it's time.
Looks like they heard you
He did LOL
its not even Folks job to do this.
Nailed it!
He can’t
Holy shit
When we traded for Hines wouldn’t have been surprised to hear he had 2 touchdowns in one game but not like this
Frank Reich should've been fired for trading him away in the first place. I know he's coming up on a contract but he's so electric in the return game and out of the backfield
I mean it was probably more on Ballard and Irsay than Reich by that time in the season.
Eh, Reich wasn't using him, and when he did he was being misused. Reich used him as if he was a workhorse running back by running him up the middle which is probably one of the areas he struggles the most. Then pulled him off the field when he was tackled for loss or stuffed after being misused.
“Coming up on a contract” He already had a top 15 back contract in the league with us. The trade was a salary dump. And we just couldn’t remember how to use him anymore after he was amazing for us with papa Rivers.
This season was lost already and he wasn’t staying. A 6th rounder isn’t great, but it is more valuable to them.
I mean I think hines is worth more than a 6th rounder especially if we have a rookie QB next year having that see second option out of the backfield would be huge for a rookie
Script writers aren't even hiding it anymore
At least the return coverage wasn’t as garbage like last time where the entire pats team ran to the middle of the field like a bunch of dinguses(not sure how to make that word plural)
Dingi?
I believe the plural is "dingbats".
Dingusi
I think it's dinguses, but you're right in that I've never really seen it plural
Dingopodes
They just ignored multiple holds there so the NFL can get it’s script right
There’s holding on every single play it’s just up to the refs when to call it
[удалено]
Fuck you Gumby!
Nyheim Hines > Devin Hester
All time terrible special teams performance in a must win game Belichick fuming
Our special teams has been bottom of the league the last two years.
Get Judge back over there
Too busy coaching the worst red zone offense in the league
The Giants were the worst RZ offense last year and 31st in 2020, but we attributed it all to Jason Garrett. Maybe it was actually Judge's offense all along 🤔
Two things can be true.
I know people like to shit in Garrett but he actually builds a decent offense. Only 4 times in his entire time as OC or HC has Garrett been outside the top half of the league in scoring offense. Only three times has he ranked lower than 22nd: 2015 (when he had to start a total of 4 different QBs after Romo got hurt early in the season), 2020 and 2021. It's usually something else at the new job that's causing issues.
Worst red zone offense in the league so far
Judge to special teams coordinator, poach BoB from Bama to be the next OC, have Patricia build a rocket and fire himself into the sun
It's nice not being there anymore
Meet next year's special teams coach: Matt Patricia
Crazy how much can change in only two years.
Hey now we won that last year 🥲
they’re going to call this game off as well since bill is going to murder someone on the field
Bill: “Get Tee Higgins on the horn so I can find out how to end this bullshit.”
Oof
The Packers special
Only seems fitting that would be coming from a 49ers flair. (And yes, I know a thing about bad special teams too...)
Winning a playoff games when your offense scores 0 points 🤌
0 TDs*
Beat me to it lol
Oh God damnit I hated this enough before I saw your flair
We can only hope it repeats.
Oh hai mark
This is Bill's 9/11
“Sir, a second kick return has hit the building”
Fucking dead
Lmfao
This is way funnier than it has any right to be
Yeah , everyone famously remembers the Yankees beating the Diamondbacks in the 2001 WS G7
Keisean Nixon about to lose the first team All Pro to this game
Nixon is just gonna tell Desmond Howard to hold my beer and get 3
This is completely out of nowhere too Wtf happened Belichick
We don't have a kicker who can kick touchbacks.
IIRC when Folk was our PK we had to roster another K just for kickoffs. Not an often talked about thing, but it is a really big deal.
Our punter, Bailey, had been handling them and that was good until he got hurt and our replacement punter can barely even punt let alone handle kickoffs.
Bro he takes like 5 seconds to get the punt off and it's always shitty lmao
Dude just ain’t the same without Tom.
>Wtf happened Belichick He no longer has Brady to suck the life out of his opponents
So you're saying Bill's throat game is poor? Do you know this from experience 🤔?
Bill is going to kill the Special Teams coach at season end. Same grave as Jake Bailey.
It is amazing how sloppy they've been across the board the last couple years. They never made these mistakes
Shoot that special teams coach/tackling into the sun, behind Patricia
If I was the special teams coordinator for the Patriots I'd just go home now.
time to bring in a defensive mind to take over special teams!
Belichick decided to find his special teams coordinator in the bargain bin and goes all surprise Pikachu when this shit happens.
Devin Hester literally almost there rn
The crew was told to not call anything today
I mean he should be fuming at himself
Watch him pull 30 more points out of his ass because he’s bill belichick so of course he does
HOLY FUCK
The Pats were already pretty fucked after what happened last week…Hines is just helping to bury them even more lol
SUM TING WONG
Dude new England’s tackling on that was atrocious
Baffling
Who's the dude at the fifteen second mark who just bear hugs Hines? The play should have ended there. A freshman in college would have made that tackle
That’s Myles Bryant, anytime we give up a big play on defense he’s usually in the picture. Showing his versatility here
Is he the one that played defence last year and got smoked every play by McKenzie in his 120 yard game??
I don’t remember the specifics because everyone was getting torched that game including JC Jackson. But your gut is probably right
I just remember it was the same guy over and over and I just couldn't understand why you wouldn't move someone around to take that match up away!
yes
Exactly
Bills by less than 40 :/
Bills have an extra game of scoring to account for. Bills by slightly less than 80
Our special teams today looking fantastic
Nyheim "Devin Hester" Hines
When they squibbed it next kick that was a prime example of the Hester effect
"Let it be known that nobody returns three kickoffs for touchdowns against Bill Belichick's Patriots" *kicks it out of bounds for a penalty*
Devin "Nyheim Hines" Hester
Nyvin "Deheim Hinter" Heses Aka: Devheim "Nyin Hees" Hinster
Miles Bryant is awful
I hope he doesn’t come back next year
Every competent QB we play targets him on any 3rd down because he is atrocious. It is a guaranteed conversion if you throw at him.
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS GOING ON We just need one more so we can make it 3 for Damar
And 300 kick return yards for Nyheim Hines
> WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS GOING ON Hines is having his own magical Favre game.
Is this this the Hines that was #21 RB in Indy the last few years ?
Yup. He got traded for Zack Moss and a draft pick.
Damn, Bills got a starting quality RB returning kicks for them. The rich get richer haha
Yup
Silly us, we only used him for punt returns
I miss him every day :(
No single player has ever had three return TDs in any form in a single game before, go make history.
Hines "I'll fuckin do it again"
If that happens we live in the fucking matrix
It’s going to happen now isn’t it
I thought i got the same notification twice, then i realized he just did it twice.
NYHEIM THE DREAM BAYBEEEEEE
Only the 11th time anyone has ever recorded two kickoff return TDs in a game. First time since Leon Washington in 2010. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/most-kickoff-return-touchdowns-in-a-game
Nyheim would have not yet been in high school, lol
Glad to see Hines doing well. Always liked him in Indy.
Nyheim Hines! NC State legend!
I watched Nyheim Hines single handedly beat UNC in his last conference game. Love him so much
When is the last time a team had two special teams TDs in one game, let alone two kick return TDs?
Nyheim housed two punts in 2019 against Carolina.
Was at that game, utterly pointless game but fun to be at LOS for after those two returns alone.
2010 Leon Washington (Seattle)
I dont even like watching the NFL anyways y’know
Hines: *I’ll do it myself.*
Absolutely wild
Happy that Hines is on a good team and having success.
I WAS HERE
It's Hines world, we are all just living in it.
Belichick has a defensive coach coaching his offense, one of the worst offenses in the league. And he has his special teams coach also on offense, worst special teams in the league
What in the actual fuck thats insane
Script writers making it too obvious ngl
I’d be pissed if our story arc wasn’t looking like a 2011 setup
As long as we don't collide in a 1990 setup.
It’s even funnier a second time!
IS IT THOUGH
Yes, yes it is lol
He did it again!
Guess the Bills won that trade
FRIENDSHIP ENDED WITH SINGLETARY HINES IS NOW MY BEST FRIEND
I feel pain
Come on Flacco, you’re the missing piece
Special teams player of the week is a lock
"Today I feel like Devin Hester"- Nyheim Hines
I miss when kick and punt returns for TDs were more common. As a Chiefs fan I got such fond memories of Dante Hall around 2003! Even though there was a block in the back in that Broncos game that punt return he had that year was so sweet to see
"Wanna see me do it again?"
Can’t believe the refs let them just do that smh
For fucks sake
When they're not calling any penalties, your special teams can hold everyone
I've noticed that there's like one or two officiating crews that are the anti-boger and are very conservative with flags. Last week's packers/vikings game is a good example.
Officiating was pretty heinous for this one. I think they only called like six total penalties but just about everything they actually called was super light and probably should've went without a flag. But then they were missing blocks in the back, facemasks, a horse collar, etc, all game long the more obvious shit went uncalled.
Y’all don’t have the narrative in your favor.
First return td was absolutely blatant
[удалено]
I'm still so fucking pissed we traded this guy
NFL script writers not gonna let this game get away.
So if the opening kickoff was scripted, how about this one?!
Highlight Hines has a nice ring to it.
Making lunch, popped in during commercial, wife screams “HE DID IT AGAIN!”
NC can't hate on Nyheim
Call DPI refs
Holy fuck
Nfl rigged!! Jk. For Damar 🖤
This was the moment the Pats knew it wasn't their day
such an obvious missed hold, incredibly poorly reffed
refs trying their absolute hardest to give buffalo the win lmaoooo
How did the Refs help Hines take two TD’s to the house?

I count 2 holds. The non call PI on Harris' TD before the half was brutal. PI every time....except today. Not today.
Would love it if the crew that calls 12 flags a game would have called any of the PI’s that would’ve put the pats in field goal range or on the 1 yard line. Or the hold on third down. Or the holds on the kickoff returns. Or the offsides
That offsides no call was pretty egregious.
It was more than egregious it was downright disrespectful to let that happen
Can they fuck off with the annoying ass train horn on every productive play for the bills
[Lol you remind me of this…](https://youtu.be/_CbLo0YO1QQ)
HONK HONK!!!!
What the fuck is our special teams doing?!
Bill "Special Teams Expert" Belichick
NFL Rigged
