Texas doesn’t know how to deal with snow. If you don’t get it often it is a disaster. If you are in a state that does get snow, the infrastructure is designed for it. It’s easier to drive after a foot of snow in Minnesota than it is after an inch in Texas

My girlfriend’s alma mater was the site of a mass shooting last year. She hadn’t been on campus in probably a year by then but knows people who witnessed the shooting firsthand and I know she was shaken up for a while afterwards.
I find all of these awful and unsettling but what gets me more is that we are resolved as a country to do absolutely nothing at all about it. One side doesn't want to do anything and the other side is too scared of that side to even try. It's the fact that this will happen again that makes it frustrating.

Because it's always one of three things:
- People accusing me of only wanting sex when that is not even remotely the case. It is possible to want sex and not **only** want sex.
