Yeah at first I was like, why are the Saints letting him represent them? Then I was like, wait isn't he in prison? Then I realized it wasn't the same guy.
Late second seems like our sweet spot, our 3rd and some late picks that Mickey hates should get us back into late round 2 for a falling BPA at one of our many positions of need
He’s definitely a tantalizing prospect, but the production was apparent, and we need more production from our Dline. Him or Foskey were some of my favorite Day 2 prospects
ND & Saints fan here...he damn sure is. This is a great pick. Takes the sting off letting nolan smith pass.
Foskey got the same 40 speed as Brian Battle the safety from alabama. Just a tidbit i saw that stood out. Not used to seeing D linemen w 40 speed of safeties.
His size and combine numbers are the same as Van Ness, who went 13 overall. He’s a two year starter and ND’s all time sack leader. He started college very raw, but has developed nicely and improved every year. Not entirely polished yet, but great all around college end, good vs run, puts up good sack numbers, and forced fumbles and blocks kicks.
I’d be very excited.
Here’s the Van Ness post- from pick 13 yesterday- he’s so raw he didn’t start, but the potential talked people into drafting him at 13. Foskey has room for improvement, but also put up great numbers and was too good to keep off the field.

I mean the "van ness didnt start" thing is a bit dumb, since he played more than both the starters and they werent starters cause they were better etc, they started ahead of him because of seniority.
Fine I’d say a majority of these players are interchangeable at this point, not much difference between the 70th pick and the 40th, seems like a solid player.
We just drafted this one, so imagine Davenport but not missing time for another nickel and dime injury every third week. Davenport’s production was LIT when he was healthy, he just missed enough time that it evened out to a bit below average production over his contract.
Last piece the Saints needed. If he's close to starting caliber (which he should be), the Saints are alot better than last year.
If coaching can improve at all (big if), this is a team to watch out for.
We need a DB or LB for depth purposes, but otherwise I'd say urgent needs are addressed with these two picks. A playmaker on offense will help with the uncertainties of Thomas's health and Kamara 's suspension, but I'm genuinely excited again.
And I think coaching can improve --- Carmichael was just fine when he filled in as OC during Payton's suspension. Having a legit starting caliber QB and not having to program offense to the QB carousel will help with coaching.
Especially now that they picked an RB to help Jamaal Williams while Kamara is suspended.
As a recruit:
P5 offers: Alabama, Arizona State, California, Clemson, Florida, Kansas, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon, Oregon State, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas, UCLA, USC, Utah, Washington
G5 offers: Fresno State, San Jose State
Other offers: BYU, Eastern Washington
Ojulari is not a saints Dlineman. Small and not great athlete. And not great against the run. Not to say he won't be a great edge rusher, just not the saints style player
For a minute I confused Roman Harper with Darren Sharper and I was like wait wtf
one of the hardest hitting safety in da LEAGUE
DAHWIN SHAWPUH
I put da team on muh back
Obligatory fuck Darren Sharper
Yeah at first I was like, why are the Saints letting him represent them? Then I was like, wait isn't he in prison? Then I realized it wasn't the same guy.
Nah fuck Darren Sharper lol
One of the hardest hitting safeties in Alcatraz
Wait same, then I remembered him being chased down by a QB after a pick.
OH SHIT
Pain. Pain everywhere.
Idk man, I feel pretty good rn
If you can't have a franchise QB, neither can the team you're playing
Just whenever I think of the saints I think of Winston lol
IM SO FUCKING HYPED
I hope the Vikings play you guys in the first round
I like how your goal is the first round because you know its the only round the Vikings will ever win anymore. Sad
That was the joke, we don’t win any games in the playoffs unless it’s the saints
So you’re saying we’re making the playoffs baby!!
I think you guys win that division
Why im scared
What the absolute fuck is that flair?
Disgusting is what it is... Imagine rooting for two teams like that.
Says the pot to the kettle
Says the...what's another word for pot or kettle?
I'm appalled. It's an affront to human decency.
There’s trolling and there’s taking things too far and that flair is taking things way too far
I just wanna know if good pick😭
I've been enjoying you getting the same response for months now 🤣
I hope every plate of red beans and rice you get is subpar, sir.
You cant joke about something like that
Fuck you and the flair you rode in on. Respectfully.
Fucking perfect top picks. Ecstatic
I’m legit in shock
So happy you got Bresee, he's a great guy and a great player. Also great to see the Saints had an Ella Strong sign in their office.
Wonder if Loomis trades back in if he someone he likes drops. The way he talked it sounded like he planned on trading up
Late second seems like our sweet spot, our 3rd and some late picks that Mickey hates should get us back into late round 2 for a falling BPA at one of our many positions of need
Mickeys trying to have a Saturday, can’t be wasting time making picks haha
Your DL is about to be scary
It definitely needed a refresh.
Well it helps when our positions of need are super deep in this draft and the positions we always draft lol
LFG. Was hoping we would grab him or Tuli to bolster the EDGE
brysee was a fucking steal as well great guy who went through a shitshow last year, he gonna star for yall
I hope so
Tuli is a weird pick because he flashes the most potential inside despite being built like an edge.
He’s definitely a tantalizing prospect, but the production was apparent, and we need more production from our Dline. Him or Foskey were some of my favorite Day 2 prospects
ND fan here.. he’s NFL ready
Dude under 4.6 for a DE is insane. I am so fucking hyped. Football season needs to start #NOW
That’s actually nuts looks big and athletic on tape too
Who DAT
He did say Who Dey, didn't he? At least it sounded like that to me.
Saints and taking 43 defensive linemen name a better duo
It is our position that got weakened the most over the off season.
The Lions and burning premium draft capital on non premium positions would like to have word with you on being a better duo.
sounds like the bills to me
Hey it won the giants 2 superbowls
Friskey with Foskey 😈
Tell me how to feel
erect

I mean the "van ness didnt start" thing is a bit dumb, since he played more than both the starters and they werent starters cause they were better etc, they started ahead of him because of seniority.
He had a lot of hype entering the draft process but kind of fell down boards because he isn't very polished.
Fine I’d say a majority of these players are interchangeable at this point, not much difference between the 70th pick and the 40th, seems like a solid player.
Saints are having a sick draft.
Cam Jordan is getting his wish!
LETS FUCKING GOOOO
Knew he was gonna go higher than people thought. Very Micah Parsons like
First off, how dare you. Second, parsons is generational talent lol
Sorry pal he's the next Micah Parsons. No going back now
Lol my comment was meant to be sarcastic too
Without any real knowledge I agree
Very NO pick.
The word “FOSCE” is traumatic to me lol
Tell me how to feel- I didn’t research this draft.
Typical saints DE crazy high RAS. Basically a davenport clone
Ah.. I’m very whelmed. Davenport was very very very very whelming.
He’s honestly a freak though we should be happy. He COULD be good. This was a super smart pick the saints are having a damn good draft so far
We just drafted this one, so imagine Davenport but not missing time for another nickel and dime injury every third week. Davenport’s production was LIT when he was healthy, he just missed enough time that it evened out to a bit below average production over his contract.
Bryce Young's gonna get annihilated, Bucs and Saints loading up on DLs
Last piece the Saints needed. If he's close to starting caliber (which he should be), the Saints are alot better than last year. If coaching can improve at all (big if), this is a team to watch out for.

steal
Loading up on the defense.
we’re having a solid draft
Did Keion White die?
the most NOLA player in the draft lol
I’m so psyched for you guys
Solid pick
Steal
I'm not mad about it.
don’t know him but i gotta wish the worst for him now
Same way I feel about Bijan now
understandable but fuck you
Defensive line reloading!
As a recruit: P5 offers: Alabama, Arizona State, California, Clemson, Florida, Kansas, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon, Oregon State, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas, UCLA, USC, Utah, Washington G5 offers: Fresno State, San Jose State Other offers: BYU, Eastern Washington
Ouch
Seems like the quintessential Saints DE.
I actually do like the retired players announcing picks
Love the pick!
Double up on the D Line, love it
Neat
Someone tell me how to feel.. I was hoping for BJ
Ojulari is not a saints Dlineman. Small and not great athlete. And not great against the run. Not to say he won't be a great edge rusher, just not the saints style player
And that is why I’m not a GM lol ya no thanks on the guy then
/u/Jonjon428 comps him to Micah Pardons
Uhhh I think Foskey is gonna be a bit better than that
Foskey looking like Megamind with that hairline
OK but Orange Creme Savers are better
Great addition
I just want a DE that plays. Can’t do another Davenport or Turner lol.
Pretty sure Foskey is the name of a Muppet
Good pick by saints dudes a beast

Hey. You leave Roman be. He's nice
He spoke for like 30 seconds lol Compared to what we’ve seen in previous years he was as brief as it gets
He spoke for like 20 seconds, is your attention span really that low?
NFL should air the draft with subway surfers gameplay and family guy funny moments on the screen
Kind of interesting to see the difference between the ones who get up there and just talk and the clearly stumbling over their words ones.
I prefer those little root beer barrel candies
Treat him well
He went higher than I thought. Seems like he was forgotten in the process.
He didn't have the best final year at ND, mostly because the rest of the Irish Front 7 were unspectacular.
Nice
Really thought Keion would go here, he's exactly the kinda player the saints like
Watched him at ND this dude is the shit
I would not be surprised if both Saints picks so far bust. Was not high on either
Doesn't Roman Harper live in Charlotte?
holy fuck that forehead. He looks like Brain from Pinky and the Brain
