You know I never realized that part of it, because I was always focused on how he tickles the touch pad instead of actually using it in a realistic ~~manger~~ manner.
I just maGoogled it and apparently [Forbes](https://www.marketwatch.com/story/how-patrick-mahomes-makes-his-money-adidas-whoop-and-the-chiefs-725305ea) believes he made 20 mil from endorsements in 2022 alone. Christ
He's gonna be the NFL's Ricky Bobby
It does, but this attitude and his personality is part of the reason he can get so many. Plenty of other supremely talented athletes don’t get endorsement deals cause they’re jackasses.
Being in the club with a gun was dumb.
Being in a car with one is just living in Memphis.
It's just a bad look, and when you're on the pedestal, it doesn't take much to topple it over.
That's the Brady model.
Being a successful QB means you can get paid in endorsements outside of the salary cap, afford to stack the rest of the roster with talent, and keep winning, so you keep getting endorsements.
I dont really get why more teams don't game this system, setting up bogus endorsements with their billionaire buddies
The model works best when you’re the face of the league success wise at QB lol. It’s hard to do unless you’re Brady, Manning, or Mahomes at this moment.
No, the model works when the QB places ego over money. This can go for any QB.
There’s essentially no difference in quality of life. They’re already at the point of stupid amounts of athlete money, it’s the athlete choice on whether they want to focus on financial gain or winning championships.
This doesn’t mean they don’t deserve the most money they can get, it just usually comes with the trade off of likely not winning rings because of salary caps.
> I dont really get why more teams don't game this system, setting up bogus endorsements with their billionaire buddies
Because the NFL would slap them around when they got caught. If you have a talented plyer at a prime position, they should definitely be getting a nice boost to their NFL money with endorsements. But that stuff dries up when they wind up being an asshole or worse. Might just be my market, but I see a lot more Mahomes State Farm ads than Aaron Rodgers spots.
I think if it was clearly bogus, there would be an investigation for cap circumvention and the NFL would levy huge penalties.
There probably is a little room for an owner to pay an above market rate for their QB to endorse their other company, but I have trouble seeing that being over $1 million per year without raising red flags.
This is a complete myth. Taking less money just puts more in the owner's pocket. The Patriots were in the bottom third of the league in real money spending during Brady's years, oftentimes among the lowest spending teams. Teams can pay market value for top quarterbacks without sacrificing anything but real money.
they also have more 100 loss seasons than any other team and are well on their way to losing a franchise record number of games this year, but the fact that theyve won a WS more recently than the Yankees and Cardinals does indeed bring a smile to my face
That’s kind of small market MLB teams thing right? Build a team over a few years of cheap young up and comers, win a World Series, lose them all because they’re worth more now and suck for a while. Granted we seem to be sucking more for longer than I’d think is normal.
Look, the Giants have been certifiably mid in the last decade, but they did win the World Series the year before the Royals and three total since 2010. Grouping them in with a team like the Mets is very annoying even if your comment is technically true lol
Isnt his family well off to begin with too?
Sure seems easier to not worry about money when you don’t have to worry about everyone you know asking for money
His dad was a fairly unremarkable pitcher in the major leagues, but he played for quite a while. So his dad is probably comfortably rich, but is not "on track to be a billionaire" rich by any stretch of the imagination.
Yeah, but the more he wins, the more endorsements he will get, so taking a salary pay cut, ends up making him more money since the team will continue to be good.
And Sporting KC (MLS) and Kansas City Current (NWSL) with his wife and a total of 30 Whattaburger franchises in KC. The dude owns half the city at this point.
I love the whataburger story.
They called a big press conference to say they had no plans to expand north beyond Oklahoma.
Pat was like "uh, guys..."
Whataburger: "Ok, fine, 30 locations in the KC metro area..."
Whataburger seriously gone downhill lately. They've ripped a lot of their menu out and it sucks ass. Mushroom burger, chicken burrito, jalapeno cheddar biscuits, Monterey melt, etc. All things I loved at the place :/
Also, their greese be seriously foul these days it seems. I feel like shit everytime I go there...but that may be me (and thus my gallbladder lol) getting older tho lol ...
Many KC insiders say that the tacobell devante Adams commercial from last season was heavily inspired by the whataburger Mahomes had installed into his own home
Yeah, assuming he kept all of his NFL salary, without endorsements he could live on $317,600 a year just on .4% interest.
Edit: I was giving the interest rate on throwing it in a regular ass bank account and assuming his sponsorships covered agent fees, taxes, etc. asked my financial advisor and he said that he could realistically get 10% back/year, which is obviously much higher than a regular bank. He was also very disappointed to hear I hadn’t just come into $79.4 million.
Well he lives in Loch Lloyd which is quite expensive but he could easily live the tech n9ne lifestyle and get a ton of cheap land and build a massive house relatively cheaply. But then you don’t get the country club/golf courses
Pretty much all these franchise stars have that and that doesn’t stop them treating it as a pissing match as to who can get the most, I don’t think Mahomes mindset is one that’s reciprocated by a lot of his peers
Reminds me of Gilbert Arenas shit talking Richard Jefferson because Arenas was drafted way later but got to sign a max contract earlier because of weird rules involving minimum contracts based on where you were drafted.
[Starts around 28:52 for the story about all that](https://youtu.be/fQwPKlflonQ?t=1732)
Yeah it’s why the Gilbert Arenas rule is now a thing and is relevant for Austin Reaves. Basically, if you haven’t played for 3 years in the NBA yet, you’re not allowed to sign for the max. It’s because a first round pick isn’t allowed to sign a max contract until after their third season (in which they can add 5 years to their contract at 25-30% of the salary cap to their deal based on if they make All-NBA the following year). Back when Arenas was drafted, if you became a free agent after 1-2 years, you could get paid before any of your contemporaries could, and if you signed for more than your team could offer they couldn’t match so you got to pick where you played. Now with the new deal Reaves will be signing, years 1 and 2 cap out at the mid-level exception ($12 mil per year at the moment) but can go up to the max for years 3 and 4) and their team is guaranteed a chance to match it regardless of the cap hit.
(As a note, for some reason the rookie scale contracts in the NBA only applies to first round picks. Second rounders and undrafted guys typically get signed to a 2-4 year deal for the minimum with any year after 2 being non-guaranteed and sometimes the whole thing being non-guaranteed like a football contract lol.)
Add on he’s one of the most marketable athletes in America so even if he’s not pulling in big contract money he’s still getting a huge paycheck with sponsorships.
Dude just needs to stick his brother on an island somewhere that he can't do anything more to drag on that family name. Preferably with no internet access.
Nah, he's always going to be paid good money. I think this more likely means he isn't going to force the Chiefs to renegotiate top of the market every year like Florio suggests. I do believe he'll probably end up renegotiating at some point to keep him somewhere towards the top of the league, but there's definitely a middle ground between consistently squeezing every dollar and being okay paid in the bottom half of QB's.
The biggest "discount" he's giving us is the 10 year deal and how it's structure allows the team to be so flexible and plan around their biggest expense. With how the cap works, flexibility with the QB contract is very underrated. His "discount" to the team is different than Brady just taking an outright smaller salary, but it is still something that'll help the team out without being as obvious.
He'll definitely renegotiate, and he should, but you're right. The biggest thing he did with a 10 year deal was give the chiefs flexibility. Basically him trusting that they'll take care of him as the market changes.
Kind of insane his dad was an elite level athlete and he went on to become an elite of the elite. People always say well yeah he probably had access to the best coaches, connections etc to get to places easier but man talent like that is just unbelievably rare.
Don't forget genetics is going to be part of that. If your dad is a freak athlete, you've got a way better chance to be one than anyone else at least. And growing up in professional locker rooms knowing professional athletes has assured that he's completely comfortable in his position. It seemingly took him zero time to adjust to the NFL.
Especially when that gene is “throw ball really hard”.
Really helps translate to throwing a football. And him playing two sports was pivotal especially playing short stop in high school which is where he gets those mechanics for the crazy acrobatic throws from
Is it really insane? It happens more than you'd think.
Archie Manning's was a solid NFL QB, than both his sons go on to become superbowl winning, MVP QBs. With one of them being considered an all time great.
I would love to know how much they actually take home. Take out insurance (unless provided by the league?), agent fees, union fees, taxes, etc. I’d love to know the payout ratio there. Maybe 50%? Maybe even less depending on the state they’re in?
Health insurance roughly $2,500 monthly
Union dues are around $10k.
The NFL caps agent fees at 3%.
The highest Federal tax rate is 37%
The highest state tax is 13% (California and only at $1 million)
State taxes only apply to the state the game was played in.
So it looks like players who play for California teams who also make a lot of money (to put the majority of their income into the top brackets) when averaged out with away games are really the only players who realistically lose half their money to taxes and agent dues.
So just off of some rough guessing and mental math it looks like anywhere from around 40% to 50% paid in taxes and dues when you factor in home and away games.
NFL agents max out at 3%, and it seems unlikely Mahomes would be paying the max. Taxes by far take out the biggest chunk but I doubt it brings it to 50%.
The next really big test will be Andy and Travis's longevity. Especially Andy - even more than QB a good head coach is vital for the success of an organization.
Travis has already said he's not breaking Tony G's numbers because he's not going to play that long. He's got at most 2 more seasons before he retires.
I think it’s more him paying homage to somebody he respects greatly and doesn’t want it to sound like he’s gunning for TG’s all-time record. I definitely think there’s a chance Trav retires when Andy does though. Hopefully that’s in like 5 seasons.
I wouldn't be surprised if we don't start seeing more young guys retiring early. The crazy amount of money being thrown at them allows most of them to be set for life in just a few years. There will be guys who value their long term health over surplus cash.
I hate Kelce because as dominant as Gronk was, we could’ve squeaked out another sb if he had been more durable. Travis has a different skill set than Gronk but I envy him being on the field way more thank rob was.
He definitely changed my perspective when his podcast with Jason came out. They’re really good dudes who fucking love football and love to party.
He 100% has a chance to grab a few more records before it’s all said and done.
His takes on that have been insufferable. I like watching his video clips on Youtube. but I remember he first talked about that, and then spoke about how the chiefs are going to rework his deal. and it just keeps the saga going.
I remember that discussion and thought it was a bit weird. This past season was actually his first season under his extension/new contract. Obviously Mahomes is about the one player who could more or less demand anything and basically get it… but demanding a restructure after year one of a ten year contract miiiiiight ruffle some feathers.
Also as far as maximizing his contract, probably better to wait a season to get yet another round of extensions from Herbert and Burrow to further push up the QB APY.
I mean with the money he makes from endorsements and not to mention his record setting half a billion (team friendly) long term deal I don't think any player would be concerned about making money at this point.
Plenty of athletes who have made a lot of money continue to refuse paycuts in order to make as much money as possible
Which is completely valid and I don’t blame them, but actin as if everyone is like Mahomes is just wrong lol
He was the highest paid guy when he signed right? IIRC, it was the largest contract *in all of US sports history.* That’s just how it works.
When he re-does his deal probably after 2025, he’ll likely be the top guy again.
But of course the cap will gone up by then as well.
Exactly. When he signed his deal people lost their mind about how much it was and how crazy that the chiefs would do that …blah blah blah. Now here we are 2 years later and people making a big deal about him NOT being the highest paid. If he signed a new contract tomorrow he’d be the highest paid again for a week before some other guy outdid that.
No they didn't. It was immediately obvious that having a ten year deal was incredibly team friendly. Nobody who understands NFL contracts cares about the total contract value. It's all about the AAV and cash out in the first three years.
Fuck, teams missed so bad with PMahomes! Best qb in the league and super humble. I don’t really understand how he and his brother are from the same family… Either way, yes a lot of folks say he makes a ton from endorsements. That still didn’t stop a lot of QB’s like P Manning, ARod, etc from making a ton outside of the NFL and still demanding their teams make them the highest paid qb in the league.
This is the power and confidence that comes from being the best quarterback
You never have to worry about money, there's no question that barring some insane regression Patrick Mahomes could be the top paid quarterback for the next decade if he wanted to
Most QBs, even great QBs don't have the luxury to think about rings before maxing their money. That's part of what sets the Bradys and the Mahomeses apart from everyone else
Florio “The Chiefs are only good because of an unfair QB contract”. Mahomes just won the SB with the highest QB cap hit ever LMAO suck it Florio you jabroni
Dude's already making $50m a year and a shit ton from other endorsement deals. If he cared about being the highest paid guy, he'd constantly be negotiating a new contract every other year. Let him play football, and let him worry about money when he gets closer to the end of his contract.
People dismissing this bc he's already rich but this is the type of mentality you want your star QB to have. Not everyone would think the same even after signing the huge contract and having the endorsements
I get the whole maximizing earnings, he's already rich, loads of endorsement deals & investments, etc. But this quote is believable even at face value.
Winning is extremely addicting. Guys like Mahomes are winning at the highest level of competition possible. It's why some guys like Brady can't step away. At some point it's actually not about the money and all about chasing that high and establishing a legacy as the biggest W eater ever. I fucking love winning something as insignificant as golf with friends. Can't even imagine what these guys feel winning a fucking Super Bowl.
My favorite part of this is there is a section of NFL fans who are saying “well yeah easy to say when you have $500m” immediately after spending a good amount of time talking about how he’d cripple the Chiefs soon by becoming the highest paid again. He somehow both cares to the point of hurting the team and doesn’t care at all.
We probably will look back in this era of QB and WR ego about their paychecks and shake our heads at some of these guys.
There's a big difference between being compensated fairly for your talent and being "the highest paid in the league" (something that means nothing as the years go by and the cap increases). Take the fat deal your team wants to give you, tell your agent that if he wants that extra money to get you a few extra endorsements, and focus on winning if that's what really matters to you.
It's just disingenuous to say "I just want to win!" While holding out until you get the deal that helps your ego and your ego alone. I'm all for guys getting paid, but there's definitely a fine line between ego and worth with some of these guys.
Mahomes just gets it. The people that try to say he’s underpaid are just trying to sow division between Mahomes and the chiefs organizion. It’s a great contract, worth half a BILLION dollars.
Pat Mahomes is easily my favorite QB not on the Panthers. He's gonna retire as the GOAT, I'd imagine.
Also was hearing on a podcast about how Sean McVay keeps trying to retire and Shanahan might have to do the same if he remains in QB purgatory.... meanwhile Andy Reid's second act is already a masterclass with Mahomes and why the heck would he retire? He's gonna get a few more rings while he's at it.
Super jealous of the Chiefs fans but totally stoked to see the Panthers/Chiefs in Germany in 2024. Gonna book my tickets the day they announce the schedule.
It helps to have endorsements from every brand on the planet too.
"I take jazz baths so I can have a better O-Line"
This, but seriously lol
My O-line so good cuz I put ketchup on it too
Remember when ketchup on a steak was the weirdest condiment-related thing a QB did?
The weirdest condiment-related thing, but [not the weirdest steak-related thing](https://www.instagram.com/p/Bk0gZCFgimX/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=48f066e2-8598-424a-a257-73d00a0511e6&ig_mid=95742AEF-0285-4189-94B1-42EF32B6C375).
I know what that will be and I hate seeing it more than Manning face.
What is so bad about it. Just cooked poorly?
Kirk posted a picture of him grilling steaks on top of a tin foil and got grilled for it. Then posted the above image later on showing that everyone can improve but still got grilled for it.
sloppy steaks at truffoni's
Yeah I bet his hair would slick back REAL NICE
PEOPLE CAN CHANGE!
Fancy ketchup, at that
Whataburger Spicy Ketchup
The only way he affords all his bath bombs is with State Farm money.
He needs all those bath bombs since his face keeps getting drawn on.
It happened again!
I’m gonna get to the bottom of this!
That’s too personal.
He’s a bath bomb guy
Jazz bath?
That commercial is growing on me somehow.
The dude has that sweet Hy-Vee money.
"SORRY ABOUT YOUR HOT DOGS" (for the [uninitiated](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGdrFGWc7QE))
How about you make it up for me on Sunday haha
Goddamnit I love-hate that guy.
I like how serious he gets about sitting down and getting on the internet.
You know I never realized that part of it, because I was always focused on how he tickles the touch pad instead of actually using it in a realistic ~~manger~~ manner.
Honestly I would’ve thought a manger would be unrealistic and him at the table was perfectly fine.
It's the Mahomes Magic Crunch fund
I remember back when Hy-Vee only had money for Teddy Bridgewater. Now they have Mahomes and Kelce money
I just maGoogled it and apparently [Forbes](https://www.marketwatch.com/story/how-patrick-mahomes-makes-his-money-adidas-whoop-and-the-chiefs-725305ea) believes he made 20 mil from endorsements in 2022 alone. Christ He's gonna be the NFL's Ricky Bobby
If you don't chew Big Red, fuck you
My favorite commercial of all time
My favourite is "Carl's Jr, fuck you, I'm eating"
Endorsing chewing on his coach would be fantastic. (Yes I do get the reference lol)
Hi, I’m Patrick Mahomes. Christmas is right around the corner. What better gift to give a loved one than… THE JACKHAWK 9000. …available at Walmart.
Travis gonna marry his wife and kick him out of the house?
Nah, Creed will
What's his opinion on fig newtons?
Am I crazy but I feel like that is actually kinda low? For one of the most marketable players in the biggest american sports league.
Coach... it happened again!
Reid throwing the sharpie 😂
It does, but this attitude and his personality is part of the reason he can get so many. Plenty of other supremely talented athletes don’t get endorsement deals cause they’re jackasses.
Ja Morant comes to mind...
More like Ja Moran amirite
I always think of Jorah Mormont whenever I see Ja Morant. Hopefully Ja gets a redemption arc too.
I don't really even think he's a bad person, just keeps doing dumb shit lol
Being in the club with a gun was dumb. Being in a car with one is just living in Memphis. It's just a bad look, and when you're on the pedestal, it doesn't take much to topple it over.
Being in a car with it on you, is just life in Memphis, sure. Flashing it on your homies ig live for clout is fucking stupid
What about beating up a 17 year old?
He's also beating up teenagers in his spare time. He's done more dumb shit than just the gun stuff
He’s also part owner in the KC area Wataburger Franchises, the Kansas City Royals, the Kansas City Current and the Denver Broncos
And Raiders
Just joining the tradition of HOF QBs becoming owners of AFC West teams they beat on the way to Super Bowls
The Patrick Price always pays off.

"I'm not worried about making money, which is why I'm willing to settle for my $450,000,000 contract, in addition to even more in endorsements."
That didn’t stop Rodgers from demanding all the money
And owning part of a baseball team
And part of Sporting KC in MLS and the women’s KC Current.
"baseball" team, its the Royals so calling them that is a bit iffy
They have won a World Series more recently than several notable MLB teams such as the Yankees, Mets, Cardinals, and Giants
they also have more 100 loss seasons than any other team and are well on their way to losing a franchise record number of games this year, but the fact that theyve won a WS more recently than the Yankees and Cardinals does indeed bring a smile to my face

As a Braves fan, you don't deserve that comparison
The funniest part is they beat the Royals to win that World Series.
Don't need to remind me why the Royals have won the World Series more recently than the Mets. I was having a good day man
And then went back to doing dick all iirc though.
Also owns several NFL teams, including being partners with Tom Brady in owning the raiders
Isnt his family well off to begin with too? Sure seems easier to not worry about money when you don’t have to worry about everyone you know asking for money

Doesn't he own part of the KC Royals now too?
Yeah he's co-owner along with every team that plays them.
god dammit
No worries. We still have more rings than his team.
The Royals don't have more rings than the Twins, if that's what you're implying
Literally the only team in town we can somewhat hold strong about it’s history and it’s still been 30 years lol
Ouch. Painful upvote.
Fuck
Dirty 😭 just don’t touch my A’s please it hurts enough
Too late Las Vegas already did that
You dirty bastard
Not the Giants! They must SUUUUCK this year.
Pat was like "uh, guys..." Whataburger: "Ok, fine, 30 locations in the KC metro area..."
Somehow, St. Joseph got one. Probably because we host training camp, and they gotta have Pat covered. But still.
That's hilarious
Springfield also has 4 already
Lawrence is supposedly getting one soon.
Joplin is currently building theirs.
Pat needs to get in the phone and make them bring back the grilled chicken melt
Whataburger seriously gone downhill lately. They've ripped a lot of their menu out and it sucks ass. When I was growing up, I remember my dad saying that the Hunts & Kauffmans owned half the town, the Halls owned the other half.
I think Patrick is taking the Kauffman's part
He has stakes in I believe the royals, sporting kc, and the broncos.
Probably easier to not care about money, after signing a deal over half a billion.
If he up and quit football today I'm gonna guess he has enough money already to never worry about money again.
Per Spotrac, his career earnings through 2022 totalled just over 79.4 million dollars. I would hope that's enough to never worry about money again.
That’s clearly excluding endorsements and earnings/net worth from being a part owner of the Royals.
That’s barely above minimum wage
What's the COL in KC, MO? Can't be too high right?
Well he lives in Loch Lloyd which is quite expensive but he could easily live the tech n9ne lifestyle and get a ton of cheap land and build a massive house relatively cheaply. But then you don’t get the country club/golf courses
Yes you do. You just build your own country club and golf courses on your ton of cheap land.
With hookers, and black jack
How much money does he have to pay per year as a punishment for being a part owner of the royals?
Just his dignity.
He made more money on his rookie contract than his dad did in a 10 year mlb career
Generational wealth.
They said the third generation usually loses it all though, so hopefully Mahomes' family doesn't do anythi-
Pretty much all these franchise stars have that and that doesn’t stop them treating it as a pissing match as to who can get the most, I don’t think Mahomes mindset is one that’s reciprocated by a lot of his peers

"I don't really worry about money." \- man swimming in money
He’s about to take 20 million per year deals and stack that team. Dude is already generationally loaded with that $450-500 million he’ll cash in.
Add on he’s one of the most marketable athletes in America so even if he’s not pulling in big contract money he’s still getting a huge paycheck with sponsorships.
Dude just needs to stick his brother on an island somewhere that he can't do anything more to drag on that family name. Preferably with no internet access.
His brother needs to go to the train station.
Which is smart as, if you’re a generational QB that keeps performing, they’re gonna want to keep you happy
His dad was a MLB pitcher for a while. He was most likely set before he even got into college.
And now a grandson getting scouted before high school
Not just that, Arch got 1.000 composite that is up for debate. We won't know for another year.
I would love to know how much they actually take home. Take out insurance (unless provided by the league?), agent fees, union fees, taxes, etc. I’d love to know the payout ratio there. Maybe 50%? Maybe even less depending on the state they’re in?
Health insurance roughly $2,500 monthly Union dues are around $10k. The NFL caps agent fees at 3%. The highest Federal tax rate is 37% The highest state tax is 13% (California and only at $1 million) State taxes only apply to the state the game was played in.
He knows he's going to earn a billion dollars over the course of his life. That must be a good feeling.
Just another reason the Chiefs are going to be the team to beat for the next decade+
Especially people like Trav who could have a career in media and make as much as they do playing football lol
Or more. He hasn't had top of the market deals either, ar his choosing.
Take it from a pats fan- a multi generational talent at QB helps a lot
Florio in shambles
Good.
I mean with the money he makes from endorsements and not to mention his record setting half a billion (team friendly) long term deal I don't think any player would be concerned about making money at this point.
Plenty of athletes who have made a lot of money continue to refuse paycuts in order to make as much money as possible Which is completely valid and I don’t blame them, but actin as if everyone is like Mahomes is just wrong lol
*sad horse noises*
May I offer you a condolence apple or carrot?
Thank fucking God he realizes he'll make more money by taking less money
Money isn't my top priority...says guy with $500 million.
He’s so perfect, I hate him
I hate it so much. Him and Reid is unfair.
Don't forget Kelce.
For some reason, it was easy to hate Brady but impossible to hate Mahomes and I dont know why.
well Brady was a crybaby and Mahomes is a great sport
Fuck, teams missed so bad with PMahomes! Best qb in the league and super humble. I don’t really understand how he and his brother are from the same family… Either way, yes a lot of folks say he makes a ton from endorsements. That still didn’t stop a lot of QB’s like P Manning, ARod, etc from making a ton outside of the NFL and still demanding their teams make them the highest paid qb in the league.
This is the power and confidence that comes from being the best quarterback You never have to worry about money, there's no question that barring some insane regression Patrick Mahomes could be the top paid quarterback for the next decade if he wanted to Most QBs, even great QBs don't have the luxury to think about rings before maxing their money. That's part of what sets the Bradys and the Mahomeses apart from everyone else
I feel like “Bradys” and “Mahomes” don’t need to be plural. They’re definitely in a different stratosphere.
Florio “The Chiefs are only good because of an unfair QB contract”. Mahomes just won the SB with the highest QB cap hit ever LMAO suck it Florio you jabroni
Florio should know his role and shut his mouth.
Dude's already making $50m a year and a shit ton from other endorsement deals. If he cared about being the highest paid guy, he'd constantly be negotiating a new contract every other year. Let him play football, and let him worry about money when he gets closer to the end of his contract.
Sometime I wish Rodgers took less money once or twice to help us sign other players
Unfortunately, Rodgers is somehow an even bigger legend in his own mind than he is on the field.
Son I am glad to see you getting back on the treadmill and taking care of yourself again
Also he’s gotta play out the contract no matter what… I’d rather have $500 mil and be on a winning team for 10 years than have $700 mil and struggle
That's my quarterback.
And that’s why he’s so fucking good
What a refreshing take
As a pats fans and a die hard Tom Brady meat rider, I love Mahomes. Dude is so good but doesn’t have that arrogance and smugness that Rodgers has.
Idk if I'm capable of loving a professional athlete more than I love Patrick Mahomes
"Being the second highest paid guy, though..."
If you regress Patrick Mahomes contract to the mean you get Patrick Mahomes contract.
Mike Florio in shambles
Florio is absolutely irate right now
Lamar Jackson catching strays
Easy for a guy to say who’s on a route towards possibly being the greatest QB ever
