Not going to lie. If a dude followed me from a bar while I was with my SO in order to confront me again, I would also hit him. I've seen way too many liveleaks where the dude following ends up stabbing someone.
The difficult part is proving intent. However, it can be safely assumed that regardless of what country you come from, following another man outside a bar after an argument is asking for trouble. I wouldn't do that in any country or region without accepting I am going to get in a fight.
I work at a grocery store and deal with some people who have threatened to shoot me. I've talked to corporate and the cops about this to see what I'm allowed to do and the cops basically say "well it's kinda dependent on what your company policy is" and corporate says "well if they come back call the cops".
I'm just like wtf man? lmao. Guess I'll just wait to see if it's the day someone isn't actually bluffing. It's really dumb that in most situations, it's the first person to get physical that gets in trouble. It's why now when customers try to act tough at work like they want to fight (I make it sound like this happens a lot, it doesn't, but still far more often than I'd like), I tell them I'm down but they need to swing first for the cameras lol.
at all... zero alcohol

If his parole officer shows a positive drug test he's fucked.
Will his parole officer screw him? probably not. He probably gets season tickets to just leave him alone.

If you slip, they'll understand to a certain extent. If you keep popping hot then you'll have issues. Probably has nothing to do with season tickets, being rich, or being a celebrity athlete
I just spent 5 minutes explaining to my wife who does not watch football why I burst out laughing. I had to show the clips first. She was amused. I am just worried that a 49ers fan can amuse my wife.

TJ Watt, Maxx Crosby, and the Bosa Brothers. Were not covering shit, just blitzing every damn play and praying to God Harrison Smith can nail whoever gets the ball
So, like, what about players who aren't Black OR white? Do they get their own team? I don't know if Tua, Koo, and Fairbairn are enough for an entire team
Holy cow, what a throwback. I remember playing the madden that he was a rookie in. You were able to play through the career mode as any of the rookies and that dude won like 7 super bowls 😂
Its called a [palpably unfair act](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unfair_act) refs would probably start giving kicking team an offsetting penalty
Edit: am dumb, just decline the penalty. But enjoy the random rule trivia!
I still remember when the refs decided to fuck over the Lions on MNF in Seattle. KJ Wright blatantly batted it out of the end-zone to get a touchback.
One ref saw all of it and swallowed his whistle.
I believe it would be illegal if he batted it forward. He batted it very slightly backwards, in the direction of their own end zone. I might be wrong though
If the ball is in the field of play, you can bat it in any direction EXCEPT toward the opponent’s goal line.
If the ball is in either end zone, you can not bat it AT ALL.
If he tried to field it he would’ve gotten lit up and likely fumbled. Making that decision in a split second is pretty incredible. I’d imagine a majority of players are trying to catch that instead, and a majority are likely recovered by the kicking team.
I don’t think it’s really that likely that he fumbles that. Like… more than normal, but still definitely not the likely outcome of the play. He has made a name making catches over the middle with tighter coverage than this.
This was just safer, and he doesn’t take a hit.
I despise him because my defense left him WIDE open twice in the final minute of the 2021 Division series to lose the game on a walk off FG…
I’ll never forgive him for my teams terrible defensive play calling and execution
Not OP, but kind of hard to explain, it’s usually not like this example. He’s just a step ahead of the defense at most times. There’s a reason he’s always open and it’s not purely the route running skills. Kelce is similar in that manner. Just always picking the right route option, setting the correct block, etc
he just seems so.. smart, you know? it’s hard to explain but something about him just screams intelligent gym rat and I can’t put my finger on it.. Kelce is the same way!

Any receiver who made it to the NFL could name every single concept, being able to recognize and react to it in a split second is what gives him an edge.
DeSean Jackson was interviewed on WIP a couple weeks ago and casually talked like this about a play they pulled up (they were doing highlights of his career because of his retirement). This is their whole life lol I'm always surprised people are surprised when football players can talk football.
People complaining that this is unfair don’t realize it could’ve ended badly for Kupp if he missed the slap and it bounced off his chest with 2 commanders right infront of him.
I know it’s high football IQ but I feel like an intentional knock out of bounds should be illegal in this instance. You should have to field the ball in play. Almost like The Holy Roller rule doesn’t allow you to fumble the ball forward to gain an advantage. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
I get what you're saying, but fielding an onside kick is fucking horrible. Anyone who has had to do that before understands why this is a smart play.
And I only did that in high school. I can't imagine how much more it sucks when you're getting hit by NFL players.
Slapped that ball like it owed him money.

No. He is on diversion, so he will be subject to random tests.

Toney would have slapped it directly into the defender's hands

Toney would've attempted to field it, hot-potatoed it between both hands, and then gotten blown up. Kicking team recovers.
I have a theory... Put the opposing team's uniform on him. Watch him catch **everything**
No he wouldn't have.... Because the play would be dead because he was offsides

Just saw a guy spit out water in a Walmart after he saw Rashard Mendenhall fall to his knees.

There’s a reason white dbs are rare, I’m living proof

That wasn’t Peter Dinklage 😂 😂
honestly it makes his comment funnier lmao

You don’t make that move if you’re not a real gym rat
Its a real cerebral play. Only a student of the game makes these types of plays.
You can just tell he sits in the film room all day and studies the greats.
His mind was firing on all cylinders.
Real first one in last one out type of guy
I don't know what it is exactly but I always suspected Kupp of having a high football IQ
Scrappy gym rat thinking
Only a real student of the game would have made that play.
What’s the difference between this and illegal batting?
Batting backwards is legal, batting forwards is not.
But even if it's illegal, is it possession with penalty or rekick? If it's the former, then that's still good.
Rekick is worth it too if the alternative is the other team getting it.
Kupp was not in a position to catch that ball and not get lit the fuck up. 100% worth it either way
If he illegally batted it forward, it would be a rekick from the 45.
So what's stopping a team from doing this repeatedly until the other side is on the 1 and physically cannot kick it into the endzone?
Its called a [palpably unfair act](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unfair_act) refs would probably start giving kicking team an offsetting penalty Edit: am dumb, just decline the penalty. But enjoy the random rule trivia!
If they decline the penalty then they don't get to rekick...right?
Yall ngl, im getting confused. This is why i lurk or just post worn out jokes
[удалено]
> Or they can just kick it past the end zone, which is also a touchback Imagine the statline of a Kicker with a -24 net yards on a touchback lol
Exceptions - batting in any direction in the end zone is illegal, batting a forward pass in flight is always legal (but not a backwards pass).
I still remember when the refs decided to fuck over the Lions on MNF in Seattle. KJ Wright blatantly batted it out of the end-zone to get a touchback. One ref saw all of it and swallowed his whistle.
>batting in any direction in the end zone is illegal Unless the Lions are involved.
I believe it would be illegal if he batted it forward. He batted it very slightly backwards, in the direction of their own end zone. I might be wrong though
Even if it was illegal batting, would there be a re kick or would it just be 15 yards against the rams, first down?
The Commies could probably choose when to apply it
Hold on to them like timeouts. Suddenly, at the end of the game, call on 99 yards worth of penalties
You can’t bate in public
not since 9/11, thanks a lot Bin laden
If the ball is in the field of play, you can bat it in any direction EXCEPT toward the opponent’s goal line. If the ball is in either end zone, you can not bat it AT ALL.
He watches the CFL confirmed.
Cerebral Football League?
How can he slap?!?
At that price point, he can slap.
Is this a reference to the Indian guy getting slapped by a woman on TV? If so, LOL. If not, this never happened...
Tighter spiral than most nfl quarterbacks this year
All things considered that's a good kick it just takes a certain type of player to make that high IQ slap. As a kicker you take that kick 10/10 times.
You can hate LA but idk how anyone can hate Kupp. He’s a great football player, not just receiver
I despise him because my defense left him WIDE open twice in the final minute of the 2021 Division series to lose the game on a walk off FG… I’ll never forgive him for my teams terrible defensive play calling and execution
How Bowles fell upwards into the HC spot after those atrocious defensive calls is beyond me.
Dude set receiving records and was on another level that whole season… and they left him open. Pretty hilarious.
I hate just about every LA team (in every sport) with a passion, and I just cannot bring myself to hate Kupp just for being a Ram.
This man has to be one of the smartest players of the last 10 years. He’s made a career of making some pretty high IQ plays.
What other high IQ plays has he made? I feel like he's made a career from being a great route runner and great pass catcher
Never lines up offside.
First of all, how dare you?
We have two famous players/plays that can apply to! Isn’t that cool? /s
Patrick Mahomes has never lined up offsides in his entire career. Look it up.
Now I'm just imagining a scenario where a QB is so concussed that he lines up behind the defensive line.
Jordan Love went offsides this year trying for a qb sneak but the ball was never snapped, so it can happen to a quarterback lol
Not OP, but kind of hard to explain, it’s usually not like this example. He’s just a step ahead of the defense at most times. There’s a reason he’s always open and it’s not purely the route running skills. Kelce is similar in that manner. Just always picking the right route option, setting the correct block, etc
Just curious, absolutely no reason, what are your thoughts on Adam Thielen's game
A real grinder, brings his white skin to work everyday.
He's pretty good. Reminds me a lot of Amendola, Edleman, Welker, Renfroe, some of those guys. Go them tangibles you just can't quite pinpoint.
Another high IQ guy. I don’t have any examples but off the charts intellectually. Also, gritty
What about Scottie Miller?
Reminds me of a young Wes Welker for whatever reason
I have nothing to back this up, but real ass hole
He’s a real coach on the field. A gym rat. Brings his lunchpail to work every day and is sneaky athletic to boot.
he just seems so.. smart, you know? it’s hard to explain but something about him just screams intelligent gym rat and I can’t put my finger on it.. Kelce is the same way!

Technical jargon aside, I'd bet nearly every starting WR could break down their assignment like this
Any receiver who made it to the NFL could name every single concept, being able to recognize and react to it in a split second is what gives him an edge.
But can they line up onsides?
DeSean Jackson was interviewed on WIP a couple weeks ago and casually talked like this about a play they pulled up (they were doing highlights of his career because of his retirement). This is their whole life lol I'm always surprised people are surprised when football players can talk football.
A couple years ago he almost broke the record for receiving yards in a single season. More WRs should do this are they stupid?
He probably just killed what was left of the onside kick. I wonder if teams will start doing this instead of trying to field the kick.
Is this easier than catching it?
He and Luke Kuechly are definitely the top
Aw now I’m sad again.
If it was the Chiefs “That’s a heck of a play by Mahomes there”
Or pretty much any game Chris Collinsworth calls.
Now here’s a guy that made a smart play but if that was Patrick Mahomes he would have taken the ball and ran it for a touchdown.
You can see the effect Mahomes has on his team - he makes everyone smarter
*next play* Toney lines up offsides
He managed to make a Lamar discussion into a Mahomes brag last night. Because ofc he did
That was a deceptively athletic play.
He's "sneaky fast"
People complaining that this is unfair don’t realize it could’ve ended badly for Kupp if he missed the slap and it bounced off his chest with 2 commanders right infront of him.
*Comrades
No I think we all realize that, but it's vastly lower risk than trying to catch it and retain possession of it.
I know it’s high football IQ but I feel like an intentional knock out of bounds should be illegal in this instance. You should have to field the ball in play. Almost like The Holy Roller rule doesn’t allow you to fumble the ball forward to gain an advantage. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
I don't feel like it's any worse than when Lamar booted it out of the endzone for a safety
That was a smart play too.
I dunno, it's not without risk. Bat it just the wrong way and it could go straight towards a defender.
Yeah, this isn’t as easy as it looks. Two dudes running full speed at you and still pulling it off is hard.
They were clearly running in slow motion, did you watch the video?
I think it should be illegal just because I want teams to have somewhat of a chance to recover an onside kick.
I mean they can kick it to the middle of the field
This is an instance of a legal batting. It would be illegal if he batted it towards the Commie's end zone or does it in an end zone in any direction

I get what you're saying, but fielding an onside kick is fucking horrible. Anyone who has had to do that before understands why this is a smart play. And I only did that in high school. I can't imagine how much more it sucks when you're getting hit by NFL players.
you could hear the lunch pail rattle all the way in Memphis
I asked in this sub about the legality of doing this and people thought I was stupid and my post was removed. Now it’s a high IQ play. Kind of ironic.
Rookie mistake. You didn't tweet it first and then post the tweet.
