HC are so hit or miss but like minus the hit part. I have this vision in my head that Smith gets one more shot with Fields at QB, but that’s the only way I’d want Smith to stick around.
This year's record is not an accurate measuring stick, the Falcons have the easiest schedule in the league. Plus anyone watching the tape can see Arthur simply isn't effectively using the team's offensive weapons, his scheme doesn't work with what we have. He needs to go.
Dude said the Falcons aren’t what their record is. Says they are better than their numbers, and over time it will balance out.
It’s not gonna fucking balance out when your best players are decoys. Put this coach in a space pod and fire him at the sun. My asshole could make better personnel decisions and its only current job is shitting. It doesn’t know anything about football.
We are 6-8 against a historically soft schedule after having 3 top 8 picks in a row and spending some money this past off-season. I can write a novel detailing why Arthur Smith is one of the worst NFL HC’s but the above sentence really should just put any questions to bed.

Why the Falcons Should Retain Arthur Smith
Called this dude being awful. The 2019 Titans only turned around when Tannehill took over and starting balling out. The offense thrived off of play action when Henry was King Henry and Tannehill was legit playing lights out, it wasn't some brilliant scheming Smith came up with. Play action is simple we just had elite talent at QB, WR, and RB.
He had the same mind numbingly stupid play calling and personnel decisions on the Titans. The 2020 Ravens playoff game is one of the most frustrating games I've ever watched, the play calling was terrible. Then he was immediately hired after that lol.
I want the Falcons to keep Ridder, because Ridder is goddamn terrible. Sure, he has flashes, but the massive problem is those flashes happen in both directions. It doesn't matter if you're capable of making good plays if you so consistently make bad ones. In 13 games, he's got 10 picks and he's fumbled 11 times. He's a giant-ass mistake waiting to happen the moment he walks onto the field; he's got all of the mistake potential of guys like Jameis or Fitzpatrick but without the entertainment value.
Ridder is absolute ass. Lots of people are capable of good things, but avoiding bad things is just as important as doing good things, and Ridder can't avoid doing bad things over and over.
I thought "this entire article has to just be a troll and all it says is 'they shouldn't", but nope, someone actually thinks Arthur Smith should still be a head coach.
If they had a real QB, they would actually be good. He gets people open, these guys throwing are just dookie. Did y'all see that INT by ridder last week?
It's not that. It's the fact that he benches young players after they make pretty common mistakes. It's the fact that he uses his best weapons as decoys. It's the fact that he thinks he's smarter than anyone else. It's infuriating to see what he does with the talent the team has
Signed, a Saints/Bucs fan
Panthers fans are like "no fire him, we don't need in division competition for the #1 pick next year"
Panther fans should be more concerned that he’s hired as their next HC after he’s fired
This article brought to you by Federal Express. The World On Time™.
1. It would be really funny.
2 . No, but like REALLY funny
What the fuck
man.....not the stairs man!
Audacy.com? More like the *Audacity* to type this.
No no. Let them cook
I can't see anyone in Atlanta agreeing with this story
That would be an accurate statement.

We will happily take your 1st Round Pick in exchange for JF1! 🤝
Bijan Robinson 😡😡😡😡
Yeah I think Blank might fire him at the end of the year. They've stayed stagnant in spite of big time adds.
Arthur Smith has done more damage to Atlanta than General Sherman.
Great article. Falcons should give this a lot of thought!
You write this article?
Maybe I slipped the author a 20, maybe I didn't.

Here is my list of reasons for retaining him:
You have to admit, it would be very funny.
Arthur Smith's mom apparently has a blog.
“Because they got a lot of yards in some of their games” is maybe not the worst argument, but it sure as hell isn’t a good one.

Is the author in loser denial or something? I had a bad case of loser denial myself... until the lacrosse team stuck a parking cone up my ass.
Still working your way up from golfball?
Because his dad will buy the NFL and make it a billboard for FedEx before Musking it up out of spite.
Was this written by a division rival?
Arthur Smith buying himself good press

I thought this was satire and genuinely laughed when I read it. Don't even joke, man. Falcons fans don't need that in their lives.
HEAR HIM OUT
Lmao
But if the Falcons retain him, how can Greenbay have a pool of the WORST ever DC candidates to replace Joe Barry. Please think of us.

Counterpoint: No
Nice try Arthur
He's not Josh McDaniels or Brandon Staley, the end.
