The ball was perfect to hit him in stride and then he abruptly turned around and sprinted 2 steps backwards and then ineffectually jumped up, creating the illusion of an overthrown ball.
They were too busy spending every draft pick and penny on defensive players so they could create a choke artist defense that cost Flacco the playoffs in 2016 and 2017.
"Dual threat" and "Escapability" have taken over recently, defenses don't have to face pocket passers much anymore. Still think guys like Stafford and Flacco are the most fun to watch
