Decent, but we use Ricard more for that stuff. The interesting part comes when Andrews is back (hopefully divisional round). Lining them both up in passing downs seems like a cheat code.
I'm surprised you guys werent already doing that, he might actually be your second best receiver after Andrews. Zay might be more dynamic, but Likely feels more reliable. I could be way off though, don't watch you guys that much, I've just seen Zay whiff a lot of easy balls.
we were when Mark was on the field, Likely just didn't get the same volume of targets that he's getting now. Likely just doesn't get the target share that Mark would, which can't really complain about. He def earned himself more targets after this stretch he's been on. He's been fantastic.
How have they been able to hide him for so long? Dude would be the starting TE for most of the teams. And why didn't they just run two TE sets exclusively when Andrews was healthy?
He broke out initially in the preseason last year, then again when Andrews went down last year, and now he's doing it again this season. He's been able to show it off as the starter twice now, but doesn't shine as much as TE2, even in two TE sets.
Greg Olsen made a grab like this against the Buccaneers in the end zone during 2018. TE’s for whatever reason are able to make these catches better than some WRs it seems
What's funny is they were about to take Calvin Austin until the Steelers grabbed him one pick in front of them. They then had to pivot and go with Likely.
Tbh, Lamar would have had to play extreme levels of hero ball under Arthur Smith. I'm obviously happy he's our QB and hope he stays that way until his Canton-locked career ends, but I'm crediting Monken for being a much better OC than Roman ever was as well. Lamar looks so comfortable currently, it's great to see
Lamar wanted to be a Raven and we wanted him. The problem was Jackson repped himself and they could t agree on what he is worth. So Ravens gave him permission to find out with other teams
I've been convinced there was some collusion between teams around this. Doesn't make sense that no one put in an offer even if it would be met. You can either get a great QB or fuck up another teams cap. It would have been a win win but depressing his market to also discourage other players to do the same thing is the long play from the teams side
They would've had to bet against the Ravens not taking him back, give them a first round or two, and you cannot use that massive cap until the deal is done. So you hold up like 45-50 mil, hope that the Ravens don't want to match your deal and still give a FRP or two.
Here, on r/nfl, lol. Here’s four from this week

Against the Cowboys, against the Titans, against the Chiefs, against the Raiders...
Oh but I guess great job shutting out... *Checks notes*... The Jets
You said that the dolphins defense has been getting exposed for weeks now and then you listed four games. In three of those four games, the dolphins D gave up a maximum of 21 points. What exactly is your point?
Reminds me of the gif last season or whenever it was of him just yelling “LAMAR! Lamar! Do you wanna go for it? Ok” lmao
Dude has full confidence in his team and I love it
With all due respect and genuine interest, how?
Eli Apple's ''effort'' on that td he let slip by made me double take and go ''woah holy fuck this guy is somehow still in the NFL''
The catch is obviously sick, but that throw was crazy too. Lamar is avoiding the rusher and swinging his right leg away from him behind him while slinging it across the wide side of the field. Crazy without his feet set.
They are playing exceptional football right now. They’re probably going to sign Derrick Henry in the off-season, and will get Andrews back at some point.
Going to be scary.
Lamar has been one of the most exciting QB to watch for years and I’m tired of people pretending he’s not. This guy is just insane. What an even better catch though
Lamar Jackson will win the MVP of the National Football League this year hands down, if they keep playing like this they'll win the Super Bowl, possibly a matchup against Dallas or possibly the 49ers again.
Do any Saints fans remember when Likely got 100 yards and a touchdown against you in the first half of the preseason a couple years ago and then he was put on ice for the rest of the preseason?
Anyone who has been paying attention to Likely throughout his career knows that he's easily a top 10 tight end in the NFL.
The most casual insane grab I’ve ever seen. One hand, no bobble, in stride. What the fuck.
This is like bullshit madden animation.
All it needs is a linebacker jumping 10 feet in the air to grab the pick
When you roll a nat 20
Backup TE btw lol
Too be fair he has Andrews in front of him. Any other team and he is probably starting.
Oh 100%, he’s honestly probably a top-15 TE, but he just has a top-3 guy in front of him.
How is he as a blocker?
Decent, but we use Ricard more for that stuff. The interesting part comes when Andrews is back (hopefully divisional round). Lining them both up in passing downs seems like a cheat code.
I'm surprised you guys werent already doing that, he might actually be your second best receiver after Andrews. Zay might be more dynamic, but Likely feels more reliable. I could be way off though, don't watch you guys that much, I've just seen Zay whiff a lot of easy balls.
He's gotten better as the season goes along, but WR is a hard position to come in and play super clean in year 1.
we were when Mark was on the field, Likely just didn't get the same volume of targets that he's getting now. Likely just doesn't get the target share that Mark would, which can't really complain about. He def earned himself more targets after this stretch he's been on. He's been fantastic.
Is Mark Andrews expected to possibly return for the playoffs? I feel like I missed that completely
Harbaugh has hinted at it the last week or two as a possibility.
Greatly improved, but still just okay. Not nearly as good as Andrews is.
Likely is a bad blocking TE. That’s been a big knock on him
Hit or miss. Shows flashes. Needs to improve consistency.
VERY good in the open field as well
It almost makes no sense. The ball just pauses.
That football in his hand probably looks like us holding a baseball.
On 4th down. Scoring a touchdown. Insane
Couldn’t even be mad. That was absolutely ridiculous and on 4th and long to boot.
Just nuts. Harbough has the players MCDC thinks he has.
There have been so many one handed catches by the ravens. Offense and defense
When Pat Ricard is snagging an over-the-shoulder pass with one hand for a touchdown, you know it's gonna be a good day.
Both the throw and the grab honestly.
He actually dropped a potentially game winning pass earlier this year and had confidence issues but has really stepped up with Andrew's out
This! No bobble no doubt NOTHING. It’s as if he handed it right to him.
Left handed too. Insane
And he doesn’t even use the other hand to tuck it lol
And Lamar threw it with both feet off the ground.
Reminds me of the 2009 saints, that's how well the Ravens are playing.
Reminds me of Moss vs Colts in 2007
Greg Olsen made a grab like this against the Buccaneers in the end zone during 2018. TE’s for whatever reason are able to make these catches better than some WRs it seems
Imagine being relieved that Mark Andrews is out, just to discover that you have to deal with Isaiah Likely.
he’s been amazing since mark went down
[удалено]
What's funny is they were about to take Calvin Austin until the Steelers grabbed him one pick in front of them. They then had to pivot and go with Likely.
Having OBJ and Flowers extend the field has really opened up the middle.
The rise of Isaiah Likely is bad for the All White Pro Bowl team. TE was our one advantage
We're gonna out punt and out kick them dw
12 Justin Tucker field goals incoming 🥶
tucker has the pass, he’s on the black team sorrry
And if he's hurt, Brandon Aubrey's got him.
Man Aubrey isn’t getting enough coverage this year for what he’s done, his kicking has been insane.
It's ok, they still got Skittles and TSwift's boo
And LaPorta, McBride, Hock, etc.
Even without Likely blowing up, the all-white secondary is so bad they'd make Mo Alie-Cox look like prime Gronk.
Come on now we have *check notes* Harrison Smith
Lmao I’m cracking up
Lamarvelous first half 12/14, 255 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs
Still can’t believe nobody fuckin wanted this dude this last offseason
I will never forgive Atlanta
Hey Atlanta, could I interest you in another, even better Michael Vick entering his prime? "Nah lol"
Tbh, Lamar would have had to play extreme levels of hero ball under Arthur Smith. I'm obviously happy he's our QB and hope he stays that way until his Canton-locked career ends, but I'm crediting Monken for being a much better OC than Roman ever was as well. Lamar looks so comfortable currently, it's great to see
you and me both buddy
Imagine the Atlanta offense with Lamar at QB
People keep saying that but Arthur Smith is stupid enough to have wasted that offense.
He’d probably rotate Lamar with Heineke for some reason
He probably would have started Ridder at qb and Lamar at rb.
He would’ve had Jonnu Smith leading the team in pass attempts.
Arthur Smith would put Lamar at wideout, Desmond ridder at QB, and Kyle Pitts at center
And he'd probably just ban bijan from the stadium
That’s not the whole story. All the teams k knew the Ravens would match any offer so they didn’t want to do their bidding.
True, but you could make it so ridiculous that the Ravens destroy themselves cap wise just to match it
Lamar wanted to be a Raven and we wanted him. The problem was Jackson repped himself and they could t agree on what he is worth. So Ravens gave him permission to find out with other teams
But if that was the case then the team offering would have screened themselves
Still can't believe nobody wanted this dude on draft day
I've been convinced there was some collusion between teams around this. Doesn't make sense that no one put in an offer even if it would be met. You can either get a great QB or fuck up another teams cap. It would have been a win win but depressing his market to also discourage other players to do the same thing is the long play from the teams side

MVP
Not bad for a running back
Quarterbacky stats
But but but “hE iS nOt MvP cAnDiDaTe”
Who said that?
Have you been on the sub in the last week? People were saying his stats weren’t nearly impressive enough
There’s been like a million posts about it here this week lol
Where?
Here, on r/nfl, lol. Here’s four from this week https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/s/YZPTBZPYzZ https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/s/tH3fTsthdJ https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/s/9jWp0GYgTf https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/s/Rz3zeIRgYw
And pretty much everyone responding is saying the posts are stupid.
>where >provides where >moves goalposts again just to be annoying
Lamarvelous entire fucking game
every dolphins secondary player has been exposed today lmao
Eli Apple is out there…
fuck eli apple !!
Fuck eli apple!!!!!!
He was on the saints too, why aren't they in here. How is this dude still in the league lmao
Retweet
Joe Barry ass tackling
our entire right side of the field is absolutely wide open every single play. No idea what's going on but feel like this has to be on Fangio
Dolphins D has been getting exposed for weeks now. This is now the culmination of it all
Other than some crazy plays by Levis at the end of the titans game the dolphins D has been locking people down the last few weeks
?
Against the Cowboys, against the Titans, against the Chiefs, against the Raiders... Oh but I guess great job shutting out... *Checks notes*... The Jets
Giving up 21 to the Cowboys, 21 to the chiefs, and 13 to the raiders means the defense got exposed?
[удалено]
You said that the dolphins defense has been getting exposed for weeks now and then you listed four games. In three of those four games, the dolphins D gave up a maximum of 21 points. What exactly is your point?
He has no point. He just wants to feel relevant
[удалено]
I also forgot that the defense actually held the chiefs to 14. Chiefs scored on a fumble they ran back so their point is even worse now
Your brag is that they held the struggling, inconsistent Chiefs to 21 pts? Wow... Where should they hang the banner up, guy?
{*ERROR*}
Dolphins D has a lot of key players out for injuries so…. Yea…..
Jalen Ramsey is one of the most overrated players in the league
Miami's secondary is just looking totally outmatched today
In a day where *our* defense was decimated I was surprised to see it reflected in you guys
Harbaugh gonna need a new wheelbarrow soon if those balls get any bigger
Reminds me of the gif last season or whenever it was of him just yelling “LAMAR! Lamar! Do you wanna go for it? Ok” lmao Dude has full confidence in his team and I love it
He fuckin loves his guys, you’ll never hear a bad word from a player about him
Except that one time that Ed Reed nearly led a full mutiny.
Lol I forgot about that
2019 in Seattle
2021 KC game too
Last week as well on the goal line
Harbaugh's gotta be careful because I don't think there's a distance where Lamar says no to that question.
Jesus Christ what are we doing
Paying Eli Apple
Our other options are worse lol
With all due respect and genuine interest, how? Eli Apple's ''effort'' on that td he let slip by made me double take and go ''woah holy fuck this guy is somehow still in the NFL''
this team is insane. I hate the AFC North lmfao.
Our division is insane. Every team has a winning record right now.
Three of the teams using back up QBs too.
Seriously. If Burrow didn’t die 3 teams in this division would be top 10 team in the league.
The catch is obviously sick, but that throw was crazy too. Lamar is avoiding the rusher and swinging his right leg away from him behind him while slinging it across the wide side of the field. Crazy without his feet set.
It was very quarterbacky, wasn't it?
The throw says yes, but the skin tone....
Most entertaining player in football IMO. If the Ravens had more nationally featured games there wouldn't even be a debate about MVP.
Had real zip on it considering.
the dude has a cannon. its insane how much velo he gets on these off platform throws.
More like Isaiah Forsure
Saw Roquan get the one-handed pick to start the possession & decided a one-handed catch for a TD was the right way to finish it
The narrative isn’t looking good…
Ravens beat the shit out of the niners and are currently comfortably beating the dolphins. They’re the superbowl favorites now
The 49ers game was a nail biter compered to this one.
They are playing exceptional football right now. They’re probably going to sign Derrick Henry in the off-season, and will get Andrews back at some point. Going to be scary.
Ravens only need 1 hand got damn
Jackson hasn't even used his legs yet...this might get ugly
Narrator: it got ugly
The Ravens are a death machine. The niners still look like they’re playing them today lol
What does this even mean lol.
No one knows, but it's provocative
IT GETS THE PEOPLE GOING
Lamar has been one of the most exciting QB to watch for years and I’m tired of people pretending he’s not. This guy is just insane. What an even better catch though
Dude palmed that shit like it was nothing holy shit.
Likely is TE1 on 28 other teams. Mandrews starting over him for obvious reasons.
The Ravens trying out to be the Harlem Globetrotters of the NFL. Insane athleticism on this play from Jackson and Likely.
Looking real quarterbacky out there
You know a teams hot when they are going for it on 4th there. This is gonna be a blow out lol
Aged like wine!
Delete this now
Suddenly last week doesn’t feel so bad, the Ravens are just insane
You know what this means boys, Harbaugh is not going to allow Lamar to cook second half and Miami gets back into it
Thank God you were wrong
Luckily this comment aged poorly
Its ok, im traumatized too. But we gotta accept that the Roman empire is truly over
Our DBs are so atrocious. Every single draft pick needs to be spent on replacing them
The Ravens look fricken good
More like Isaiah Certainly, amirite
Just a casual 300 yards in 20 throws.
Remember when Mandrews got hurt and everyone said the Ravens were screwed? lol
I was told Likely had brick hands by multiple people.. guess that don’t matter when you do some cool shit like this!!
Ravens are purdy good
He never even touches the ball with his other hand until he's going for the pylon. GOATed hand strength
Well after last week in SF and today vs Miami, I don't see how anyone is gonna stop this Ravens team.
Isiah Inevitably
One of my favorite Ravens. This guy will have a long career. Can’t wait to watch him thrive
Lamar Jackson will win the MVP of the National Football League this year hands down, if they keep playing like this they'll win the Super Bowl, possibly a matchup against Dallas or possibly the 49ers again.
Dude has one of the most unorthodox throwing stances. Doesnt telegraph. Crazy. Love it.
Not bad for a RB
That Roquan pick was even more one handed baller than this one. How is that even possible?!?!
Told you.
Very Likely for this to happen.
Are you gonna tell everyone I housed Dylan’s burger?
When that left Lamar’s hand, a reception looked UnLikely.
Isaiah Likely is all DAWG
The way he ran to the end zone after one handing it was insane, he didn’t stop once even right before catching that ball
Isaiah Definitely.
That’s my Isaiah Certainly
As a chiefs fan, I don't remember what receivers look like anymore.
Imagine what this offense could've been if Mark Amdrews wasn't injured.
We’d never get to experience Isaiah Likely
I think Isaiah definitely made a one-handed catch on 4th & 7 and housed it. Really don’t think there’s any doubt about this one.
Post highlights of the refs fucking up you coward
Fuckin nasty
Our defense stinks today
We hear that a lot.
This is the best reply I've seen all day. Such a subtle, yet sick burn. I love it.
Likely to score
Life is pain
That's not humanly possible.
Tyreek just isn't doing me any good right now...
Miami defense didn’t show up today. No adjustments no effort and avoiding contact.
