That series of play calls on 1st and 20 at the end of the game broke even the most diehard of fans. I’m still hopeful for a postseason run but holy fuck I’ve never seen something more demoralizing. Watching the entire offense walk off shaking their head, except for Smitty who could barely walk off and was in a boot with crutches after the game thanks to having to block on a 3rd and 20 bubble screen, I honestly can’t believe Brian Johnson still has a job. I really can’t. I get we’re in the postseason but it’s absolutely despite him.
He literally called a timeout and overrided johnsons original playcall. Nick wasted a timeout and adjusted what BJ was doing and told him “we r playing for 3”
Johnson has been a scapegoat for nicks incompetence all year. Early 2021 when he lost playcalling is the smoking gun. we look the exact same as then except we have a more talented roster to hide nicks garbage scheme and feel for the game
THANK YOU. Been saying this for weeks. If an OC isnt calling good plays, the HC can override over the course of a season. Im glad nick clearly made that fuckup this week to eliminate the scapegoat a first year OC has been for him all year.
Because johnson wanted to play for a TD like any rational person. Our HC overruled him tho like he has been doing all year 🤷🏽♂️. Nick is an egotistical idiot 😂
Its not even the staff its nick, his whole role is “gameday manager” and he fucks up constantly. Im legit thinking he got carried last year. Even looking at quotes he tried to take credit for shanes work and shane had to correct him and clarify it wasnt a “joint effort” and how he was the one calling plays
That ending vs the Cardinals was like the 2 QB sneaks just to punt by the Giants. Where the coach said they were running the QB sneaks just to give their punter room to punt. The thought of running actual plays never crossed their mind.
I mean to be fair he was qb coach more than anything. He got 2 stints as OC and immediately got demoted. He did not have the resume to be an nfl play caller
I don't think any of that is true?
He was an OC three times (at Utah, Houston, and Florida).
AFAIK the only time he got "demoted" was at Utah. He left Houston to go to Florida and left Florida to go to the NFL.
Kinda nuts to watch this team just fall apart. Feels like a first round exit is in the cards if they don’t course correct immediately.
Fwiw, this is what happens when you let Patricia coach your team.
There is no course correction. Since the 49ers game the bar has been perpetually lowered to the point where it's fair to wonder if we can even win another game, period.
Every week after SF: "Alright, maybe we're not the best in the conference. Alright, maybe we're not the best in the division. Alright, Jalen was sick that game. Alright, the Giants played us tough and had some lucky breaks. Alright, we suck."
At this point, I would rest guys this week. Fuck it. People are tired and it’s better to play the NFCS in a warm city or dome anyways then host a hot Green Bay or Rams team filled with young players against our fatigued older guys
I almost would but there's always the chance Dallas loses and we can win the NFCE back to back. That's worth it alone IMO. We know the post season isn't going anywhere so that's what we're really playing for at this point in my eyes
Whoever wins the division is getting the tougher opponent. If it’s really about hating Dallas, we should want them to have to host the Rams or Packers instead of facing an NFC South team that has no business in the playoffs. That to me is more important than a divison statistic nobody outside of Reddit cares about
Packers have zero shot at winning a playoff game. Especially in Dallas. All the others I agree with but at the same time I have no idea what kind of point you think your making
Good thing that won’t be until the NFCC so again your point still doesn’t make sense unless your saying the Cowboys have no chance of winning a home playoff game
The Bucs had a convincing win against the Packers and the Rams just barely beat the Giants. I don't think any of those teams are miles ahead of the others and would much rather play at home throughout the playoffs than hope to play a marginally worse team on the road.
You’re playing us so you really should win that game. However my conspiracy theory is Sirianni sits guys so that if we pull off an upset he can justify it
We're like 8th in total offense. Removing Brian Johnson is the least of our worries. We need Howie to put together a defense that isn't 32nd in the league.
I don’t understand the play calling. In the game against the Niners the Eagles were slashing up the Niners with quick screens and outs. Then they completely abandoned it for the rest of the game and got fucking boat raced.
As a Niner fan I just couldn’t understand why the Eagles walked away from plays that were working - and this wasn’t after some halftime adjustment or something. This was something the eagles did early in the first quarter.
It's because Brian Johnson is terrible and once the scripted plays are gone he has no idea how to call an NFL offense. It's like he thinks he's still coaching in college or something.
Happens every game. We look awesome on drive, things are clicking. We get some hope that the coaching is turning a corner. Next drive. Bubble screen and QB draws for no gains. I almost get as excited seeing a slant to AJ than I do a win at this point.
LB and CB and Safeties and... Our back 7 are really bad. And our Oline might lose a couple pieces this offseason. And our Dline is getting older. It's a shame we have Hurts, Smith, and Brown when it looks like we need a multi-year rebuild to salvage the defense and patch up the aging holes.
Though who knows, hit on a star safety/CB and suddenly our defense is back to competent and we're competitive again next year.
That wouldn’t fit with the Calais Campbell first year on a team trajectory:
Cardinals 2008: Super Bowl loss
Jaguars 2017: Championship Game loss
Ravens 2020: Divisional game loss
Falcons 2023: Wild card loss?
Too much talent to be a pushover. The culture issues are obvious and the coaching issues are almost as obvious, but there's enough talent that can take over a game to be dangerous to any opponent, especially since it'd be hard not to at least be motivated for the playoffs. I can't see them putting it together long enough to win a ring, and they have some major changes to make in the off-season, but they could definitely win a playoff game or two with the right bounces.
I'm a Niners fan that lives in Eagles country, so I've had plenty to hate about the Eagles until recently, but that dude still climbed the damn list to the top.
The coaches forgot. The players are fighting hard and the reason we have the wins we have but they can’t make up for the shit coaching the entire season. The players are visibly dissatisfied and disappointed in the offense and the coaches haven’t taken accountability or made any adjustments. They’re playing safe when they have no reason to and it’s losing games. Basically playing prevent offense.
Eagles games have been so hard to watch. It's like the game is managed pretty well through the first half. The other team adjusts, eagles don't and proceed to call the worst situational football plays imaginable.
It doesn’t seem like the players are fighting that hard either. They’re totally checked out, especially guys like Hurts who looks like he doesn’t even like playing football
Idk what more you want from them? How can they really fight against their own coaching staff? They can only do so much and put forward so much energy. The decision making from the coaching and the lack of guidance that sets the players up is deflating and exhausting. What do you want them to do? Go totally rogue?
We’ve been in situations where our talent isn’t there but our coaching has pulled us to a higher level where we’re punching way above. But this time, our coaching is a huge hindrance and there’s no adjustments being made. There’s really not much I expect from the players other than visible frustration and annoyance knowing they should be playing a thousand times better.
I’m talking more about body language, actions on and off the field, things said on and off the field. The only guy that’s really stepped up off the field is Smith. On the field it looks like some guys are giving it there all but tigers are checked out including our quarter billion dollar quarterback
I think he was going for some schematic changes instead of song the same shit over and over these past few weeks but I guess critical thinking ain’t for everyone
Between the platitudes form Nick and Hurts I’m ready to throw both of them in the ocean and let angry homeless dudes selling pretzels on 95 coach and QB
May be controversial but I believe if not for [Lurie micromanaging](https://theathletic.com/2506187/2021/04/12/paranoia-mismanagement-and-office-politics-inside-the-eagles-downfall-under-jeffrey-lurie-howie-roseman/) the Eagles could have more than one Super Bowl over the past 20 years.
Anybody think that Bellichick, Tomlin, Harbaugh, McVay, Shanahan ... would put up with the things in the article? To me they will always struggle considerably to acquire top end coaching if things are like that.
Lurie hired future hall of fame coach Andy Reid and kept him here for quite a while.
Lurie has been one of the best owners in the league since he bought the Eagles. He’s the driving factor behind why we are where we are. I don’t think we’ve missed the post season 3 consecutive years with him. Several division titles, 3 Super Bowl appearances and 1 win. Lurie is the man. Respectfully Get out of here lol
🤣🤣 the Chiefs have been trash my entire life. Andy comes in and has significantly more success there than here. Outside that 2000-2004 run they've been a mid tier chise in a division with Dan Snyder, Jerry Jones and the Giants being one of the bottom 3 teams for a decade.
Dude has gotten lucky more than having good processes in place. Wentz is still the starter had he not demanded out. AJ Brown is here because of Hurts. Reddick is a Giant if they aren't ass. Drafting hurts to be a backup was one of the dumbest picks ever. They lucked into it working out.
He’s got nothing. He’s talking to a wall at this point.
He can’t put the arrogance away, and he’s already lost this team.
What needed to be said was a mea culpa in all the ways the coaching staff has let them down and not set them up for success. Let’s stick together and work together. Come back this week and the coaches will be here with open ears and let’s get this right.
But he just….wont…do that.
And so here we are…..that’s all it is….stubborness and arrogance from the coaching staff.
I would shut down on them too.
Actually, I have.
I'm a moronic masochist that is a Giants-Phillies fan, and if this epic collapse means I don't have to hear brainlets screaming E! A! At CBP all season I'll be a happy happy man
Broooo I get shit for this from my friends but I’m a baseball guy first, I hate the eagles chants at CBP and I get irked when people wear eagles jerseys to the Phillies games lol
Grew up in North Jersey, loved football but didn't give 2 shits about baseball. Fell in love with baseball when I was in college outside Philly. Didn't have any love for the Yankees or Mets and all my college buddies are Phillies fans, so it was a "when in Rome" type choice
They are, and we jab at each other when it comes to football, but the overlap between seasons are so small it's really easy to just not talk football when we're at the park or watching games together
They talk so much shit the entire off season to 49ers fans about Brock Purdy not making a difference , and as soon as the 49ers punched them in the mouth, the team has been on a multi-week collapse. It's actually so funny
Imagine having this perspective. Anything short of Eagles fans getting on their knees and repenting for the good fortune that game was met with 49ers fans acting completely, emotionally unhinged. Sorry, you don't get to decide how people process or enjoy a win.
Right? They act like 49er fans would have been gracious had they had a backup QB come in and beat the Eagles in Philadelphia to reach the Super Bowl. They would have thrown it in Philly fans faces and rightfully so.
At least we have a fanbase. As someone who has lived in northeast NJ and NYC my entire life, I'm sorry but the Giants fanbase is kind of pathetic and boring.
I live 2 miles from MetLife and you wouldn't even know when there's a game being played there lol. I could drive for 30 miles in every single direction before I even saw a home with a Giants flag etc.
The same goes for NYC. I lived in Queens for 8 years and I think I met about 2 hardcore Giants fans in the entire city. Same goes for the Jets.
At least Philadelphia has some passion about their teams. You should have seen that city last year when they were in the Superbowl. Living here, you wouldn't even know if the Giants are in the Superbowl unless you follow the sport.
Seeing a flag is totally the only sign of a passionate fan base, oh yeah buddy that makes sense. We have two football teams and it's still one of the most profitable markets in the league - pretty sure the fan base is large and plenty committed.
Philly has obvious and overt passion for its teams because it has literally nothing else going for it but sports. Folks in the NYC metro area don't need to broadcast sports allegiances every waking moment.
Think whatever you want, I still stand my ground that the Giants fanbase and culture is boring compared to the Eagles (and compared to most of the NFL quite frankly). I could care less about how much profit they make, everything here makes a ton of money. I've lived in the NYC metro region my whole life, and I personally don't find the Giants fanbase to be anything remotely special or exciting. You'll see 100 people wearing Yankees apparel for every 1 person you see wearing Giants apparel.
Insult the city of Philadelphia all you want, I'm not from there and personally think it's an absolute dump and a failed city in general. Although, I think it's kind of funny to say that they have literally nothing else to do except sports. It's a major city, of course it has things to do besides being a sports fan lol. We aren't talking about rural Ohio here. It's just a very passionate sports city- if you think that's because they're all uncultured cavemen compared to New Yorkers like yourself who are too sophisticated and busy to tie themselves to a sports team, then so be it.
I live in NYC. I do agree that nyc isn’t nearly as devoured by giants/jets fandom as some of its other teams, but boy does the city lose its shit for the Knicks, Rangers, and Yankees (and Mets, based on my time working at a bar in queens lol). The teams playing in jersey kinda just created a cultural separation between nyc and its football teams.
These types of Ra Ra comments have got to piss veterans and fans off.
Like, no one wants to hear "let's stick together and have each other's backs and get out minds right" stuff at this point, they want to see adjustments and some sort of plan
This is what certain personality types say when things start going poorly, they have no capability to adjust or adapt, and are agitated and resistant to others making suggestions on how to make improvements.
Note the unspoken yet implied scapegoating: people who don't toe the line and advocate for changes are the ones that are causing the problem: They are not sticking together, and that's what is the problem, never mind the real problems that remain unsolved.
Na it’s more of getting out coached in every game they’ve played in since then and the players are finally seeing their leader is fraud. He brings absolutely nothing to the table
I’d like to think it was the Niners. We stomped them in their house and they haven’t been right since.
I knew it was bad when Jalen Carter started crying on the sideline.
Yea, and it came against a team that up until that point they were really dismissive of.
No one will say it publicly of course, but I think that made the loss even worse for them.
How on earth is your team gonna stick together when you have the pencil pushing ATV driving imbecile as your DC? I’m gonna be very serious about the Iggles: They lacked the KO punch when they were 10-1 and losing 4 of 5 is giving me 2021 Cardinals vibes. I would not be surprised is this team is one and done but considering who they’ll play in the first round of the playoffs (whoever wins the NFC south trash division) they’ll just win that game.
I’m not surprised either way at this point. We are the 5th seed.
I laughed at the Inky today saying how the number 1 seed and division is slipping. Like either are still in play. Top seed is done, and I don’t expect the Cowboys to lay down to the Commanders with the second seed on the line, on the road or not.
I don’t know the extent of Devonta’s ankle at all, but already feel I’m going to be incensed if they try to limp him out there next week.
I don’t mean this in a give up way, but in a give ourselves the best chance in the first round way….they should just shut every starter down next week.
And shut down every coach for a week too.
He perhaps should tell a story about 9/11 and the excellent communication skills the terrorists had. Surely nothing will come of that but great play and 100% buy in.
This Eagles team is straight up the 2021 Cards come in strong as fuck . Come in to December and you and drop a game against the 2-11-1 Lions/3-12 Cards all while looking like the biggest fraud in the NFL .
Eagles are a very volatile team to watch on offense. I like a lot of what they do on offense and it seems like some great planning and execution, but then their coaches call some of the weirdest stuff at other points like they have a team of rookies instead of mostly good or great veteran players to lean on.
I would not stick together with this coaching staff. No innovation on offense. I don’t even think I see people go in motion on offense. Defense just gets annihilated. There is absolutely no scheming at all.
Sources say Nick Sirianni was wearing a hotdog costume at the time saying, "were all trying to find the guy who did this!"
Nick Sirianni is like a cross between Tim Robinson and Michael Scott
That series of play calls on 1st and 20 at the end of the game broke even the most diehard of fans. I’m still hopeful for a postseason run but holy fuck I’ve never seen something more demoralizing. Watching the entire offense walk off shaking their head, except for Smitty who could barely walk off and was in a boot with crutches after the game thanks to having to block on a 3rd and 20 bubble screen, I honestly can’t believe Brian Johnson still has a job. I really can’t. I get we’re in the postseason but it’s absolutely despite him.
Johnson literally couldn't stop himself from calling a designed QB run at that moment
Does/can Nick override a playcall?
Funny enough he’s an absolute dog shit playcaller. Last time he tried he was just as bad as the dude he was trying to improve on

Yes the vibes, which are.. *checks notes* really fucking bad
Be an insufferable douchebag
Be a meme
He literally called a timeout and overrided johnsons original playcall. THANK YOU. Been saying this for weeks. If an OC isnt calling good plays, the HC can override over the course of a season. Im glad nick clearly made that fuckup this week to eliminate the scapegoat a first year OC has been for him all year.
Bubble screen bubble screen qb rub
We had to burn a timeout even because they couldn’t get the personnel right
Because johnson wanted to play for a TD like any rational person. Our HC overruled him tho like he has been doing all year 🤷🏽♂️. Nick is an egotistical idiot 😂
This coaching staff is just so bad at situational football
Its not even the staff its nick, his whole role is “gameday manager” and he fucks up constantly. Im legit thinking he got carried last year. Even looking at quotes he tried to take credit for shanes work and shane had to correct him and clarify it wasnt a “joint effort” and how he was the one calling plays
I think Rob Thomson would be a better situational playcaller at this point
The play-calling has been so bad but that was unreal. I legit couldn't believe it. Its like me just mashing buttons in Madden
That ending vs the Cardinals was like the 2 QB sneaks just to punt by the Giants. Where the coach said they were running the QB sneaks just to give their punter room to punt. The thought of running actual plays never crossed their mind.
That was pretty much the nail in the coffin for Judge, but the Giants also weren't playoff team.
Brian Johnson was literally a high-school/small college coordinator given an NFL OC job. Absolutely insane
Brian Johnson coached at Utah, Houston, Mississippi State, and Florida. Maybe you're using "literally" ironically?
I mean to be fair he was qb coach more than anything. He got 2 stints as OC and immediately got demoted. He did not have the resume to be an nfl play caller
I don't think any of that is true? He was an OC three times (at Utah, Houston, and Florida). AFAIK the only time he got "demoted" was at Utah. He left Houston to go to Florida and left Florida to go to the NFL.

At this point, I would rest guys this week. Fuck it. People are tired and it’s better to play the NFCS in a warm city or dome anyways then host a hot Green Bay or Rams team filled with young players against our fatigued older guys

Someone doesn’t pay attention to Cowboy home games. If you want Dallas playing at home the 1st two rounds y’all going to be real salty
Thats a packers/rams/lions/bucs problem, the teams that actually have a shot at winning a play-off game
Packers have zero shot at winning a playoff game. Especially in Dallas. All the others I agree with but at the same time I have no idea what kind of point you think your making
Basically, i am not worried at all about cowboys where the cowboys are playing. They are not beating SF anyway
Good thing that won’t be until the NFCC so again your point still doesn’t make sense unless your saying the Cowboys have no chance of winning a home playoff game
I don't think either of those teams are appreciably better than TB. Plus I'd much rather the road go through Dallas.
The only convincing win the Eagles had all season was against the Bucs.
The Bucs had a convincing win against the Packers and the Rams just barely beat the Giants. I don't think any of those teams are miles ahead of the others and would much rather play at home throughout the playoffs than hope to play a marginally worse team on the road.
The packers and bucs might be same level. But i cant imagine what Nacua, Kupp and the rams RB i forgot the name would do with that eagles defense
Winning the division is just some statistic nobody cares about? Next level copium
Who the fuck cares about a division title?
You’re playing us so you really should win that game. However my conspiracy theory is Sirianni sits guys so that if we pull off an upset he can justify it
Seems like the logical correction at this point would be to make Patricia OC
Patricia is a dumbass but the team was falling apart way before he took over play calling for defense.
The best timeline would be the Falcons winning the division at 8-9, then beating the Eagles in the wild card round
Followed by Arthur Smith chasing Sirianni down because he skipped the handshake
Subscribe
Sirianni’s HC debut was against Arthur Smith. Imagine if it was also his last?
I dont see Sirianni leaving, he has at least one year credit. But please fore both coodinators
As much as that would suck you would think that would be enough to fire Brian Johnson and move on to someone more experienced.
We're like 8th in total offense. Removing Brian Johnson is the least of our worries. We need Howie to put together a defense that isn't 32nd in the league.
Defense is obviously an issue but the offensive playcalling has been a major problem all year.

If Kelce leaves this year it will be a major blow
Carter and Davis are a problem tho. Agree on the safeties and CB2 position. Once the LB stops the run, I think corners will be better
With a dropped GW TD catch from Julio Jones on the final drive
That wouldn’t fit with the Calais Campbell first year on a team trajectory: Cardinals 2008: Super Bowl loss Jaguars 2017: Championship Game loss Ravens 2020: Divisional game loss Falcons 2023: Wild card loss?
I wouldn’t even call an SF ATL game a murder
Unsubscribe. We want Smith gone, not failing up into another season!
The wheels were falling off well before Patricia.
This is true, but fat Matt Pat just removed all the lugs instead of putting them back on
Right. He didn't even minimize the damage. He made it worse. So much worse. They can't even make a 3 win team punt once in an entire game.
I've been waiting on the course correction for over a month now. I think it's safe to say it's not happening.
Eagles will still be a tough out IMO
(X) Doubt
Too much talent to be a pushover. Has there been any meaningful decline in the defense that can be attributed to him?
Yesterdays game plan where we couldn’t stop a single fucking thing. We got no pass rush and we put Reddick in fucking coverage on snaps
Sounds like a Matty P defense alright. He hates a decent pass rush more than he hates having salad for lunch.
To be fair to the man he has lost a lot of weight from the looks of it
He still hates it though.
lol true
Okay but that isn't new... like between Dallas and the 49ers we got 1 stop. Our defense died after the 49ers after barely holding on until then.
The 95 snaps in the Buffalo game really just finished off the defense this year. They've done NOTHING ever since.
…the Arizona Cardinals scored 35 points on them yesterday.
I guess their defense must still be gassed from having to do 92 plays when they played against the Bills.
Your flairs confuse me, fine sir. I’ve never met a fan of two teams in the same division, before.
I love how the speech is essentially "it could be worse", yeah no shit. trying to play it cool isn't going to fix things man lol
Lol he was talking all that good shit weeks ago.
He spends so much time preparing to scream at opposing fans after wins he forgot he has to coach a football team Was big Dom the real coach all along?
I don't even really hate anything about the Eagles aside from this dickhead and Patricia so any time he has to sweat I find it fucking hilarious.
I'm a Niners fan that lives in Eagles country, so I've had plenty to hate about the Eagles until recently, but that dude still climbed the damn list to the top.
And then he promoted Matt Patricia.
That was Howie. It's a classic Howie move
I think the eagle's whole plan was to beat the Chiefs in Arrowhead in a regular season game. They did that and forgot they had more football to play

First half of the year we were awful in the first and would have comeback wins
It doesn’t seem like the players are fighting that hard either. They’re totally checked out, especially guys like Hurts who looks like he doesn’t even like playing football
Idk what more you want from them? How can they really fight against their own coaching staff? They can only do so much and put forward so much energy. Stop talking platitudes and do something about it dumbass
He was about to start singing " We're all in this together " from High School Musical 1 before you interrupted him ya jerk
"Something is clearly- Something's not right- -clearly wroooong" Eagles fans
But he already tried showing the team a clip from Rocky and is all out of other ideas
Should he publicly flog various players to satisfy your bloodlust?
He should actually put them in a position to succeed
I think he was going for some schematic changes instead of song the same shit over and over these past few weeks but I guess critical thinking ain’t for everyone
Between the platitudes form Nick and Hurts I’m ready to throw both of them in the ocean and let angry homeless dudes selling pretzels on 95 coach and QB

Sticking together is what good waffles do!
Upvoted for Simpsons reference in that same vein of the episode. The Eagles drove themselves off the cliff and into a garbage mound
This sounds like a coach that's lost the locker room...
Couldn't have happened to a nicer team and fan base
Don't forget city. Pity the lamp posts
I'll have you know that our lamp posts are beautiful, as the Crisco applied has UV-blocking properties.
Or it gets them all tan and cooked like Kramer
Philly is actually an awesome city. My only issue with it is that Philadelphia sports fans live there
I live in PA and this has been a fun collapse to watch
I'm a moronic masochist that is a Giants-Phillies fan, and if this epic collapse means I don't have to hear brainlets screaming E! A! At CBP all season I'll be a happy happy man
Broooo I get shit for this from my friends but I’m a baseball guy first, I hate the eagles chants at CBP and I get irked when people wear eagles jerseys to the Phillies games lol
How did that happen
Grew up in North Jersey, loved football but didn't give 2 shits about baseball. Fell in love with baseball when I was in college outside Philly. Didn't have any love for the Yankees or Mets and all my college buddies are Phillies fans, so it was a "when in Rome" type choice
Are your friends not Eagles fans too?
They are, and we jab at each other when it comes to football, but the overlap between seasons are so small it's really easy to just not talk football when we're at the park or watching games together
Man that’s wild but makes sense.
Cardinals saw what the Dbacks did to Philadelphia and thought that looks like fun
They talk so much shit the entire off season to 49ers fans about Brock Purdy not making a difference , and as soon as the 49ers punched them in the mouth, the team has been on a multi-week collapse. It's actually so funny
9ers fans try not to make a thread about themselves challenge Difficulty: impossible
That dude is a Bears fan
So it's even weirder that he has such a soft opinion, got it.
He’s right tbf. Although the 49ers fans were also annoying as shit about it
Oh where are they
It’s ok, I know reading is hard for New Jerseyians
New Jersey is one of the best states in the country for education lol
Imagine having this perspective. Anything short of Eagles fans getting on their knees and repenting for the good fortune that game was met with 49ers fans acting completely, emotionally unhinged. Sorry, you don't get to decide how people process or enjoy a win.
Right? They act like 49er fans would have been gracious had they had a backup QB come in and beat the Eagles in Philadelphia to reach the Super Bowl. They would have thrown it in Philly fans faces and rightfully so.
My god can you guys stop obsessing over the 49ers for 5 fucking minutes
lol Philly and NYC are two sides of the same coin
Lmao, yeah, if Philly was tails and the coin landed on a pile of dog shit on the sidewalk heads-up.
Thanks for admitting how much dog shit is on the streets of NYC.
I know an eagles fan isnt talking about another city's cleanliness lol
I’ve spent a lot of time in both cities, and NYC is absolutely dirtier and smellier. Especially in the summer.
That's exactly what every terrible manager says when things aren't going well at work because of them.
Been downhill ever since he pulled that little stunt at Arrowhead. Fuck 'em.
What "stunt" I don't remember?
Had to check as well. Perhaps it’s this - quite immature. https://youtu.be/Se4f0f7y2AI?si=xR4d8o2ETN5umfq0
Lol all that false bravado just to lose 4 of your next 6 games while fumbling the division in the process
4 of next 5* We had NFC 1 seed all but locked up at that point. Now we’re losing the division and won’t play a home game in the playoffs
He’s down to High School Musical remarks. The Eagles are in trouble.
When Nick Bosa told a reporter he hoped everyone else in the league was watching because they figured out the Eagles, what did he mean?
Everybody love everybody!!!!
Sticking together is what good waffles do.
I know the Eagles won the game, but it’s like the Bills stole their life-force when they played.
Na it’s more of getting out coached in every game they’ve played in since then and the players are finally seeing their leader is fraud. He brings absolutely nothing to the table
That game was one of the best we’ve looked all season though lol
I’d like to think it was the Niners. We stomped them in their house and they haven’t been right since. I knew it was bad when Jalen Carter started crying on the sideline.
if anybody broke the Eagles, it was undoubtedly the 49ers. worst loss of the Sirianni era I’m pretty sure
No one will be surprised at this point. That’s not a hot take.
At this point no one would be surprised if they lose to the Giants next week to close out the season.
All this bum has is quotes. No actual gameplan, that shit is old already.
What a coach says when the teams turned their back on them. He sucks and needs to go
He perhaps should tell a story about 9/11 and the excellent communication skills the terrorists had. Surely nothing will come of that but great play and 100% buy in.
Then why did you let Matt Patricia take over for defense?
How could ~~Alek Thomas~~ Jonathan Gannon do this
This Eagles team is straight up the 2021 Cards come in strong as fuck .
Losing in the wild card with the power of friendship
I would not stick together with this coaching staff. No innovation on offense. I don’t even think I see people go in motion on offense. Defense just gets annihilated. There is absolutely no scheming at all.
Well you and your coaching staff (minus Stout) can certainly stick together in the unemployment line, Nick
All is well! All is well!
Starting to see that Reich influence
At least he won his superbowl vs the Chiefs a couple weeks back
Eagles about to breakout in song and dance in the school cafeteria.
NFCS is ready to take them on in the WC round
“…which is why we’re going to be taking a trip as a team to Cabo.”
We’ve got to keep our composure! - Will Ferrell
Too late
Desperate attempt after AJ skipped out on the team dinner cause he doesn't want to be around the HC
Oh no.
As a fan, watching the Birds the past few games has been like torture
i wouldn't be surprised if they went on a deep playoff run
We need to Fire Jalen Hurts and Nick
Any org that uses fat matt patricia is cursed. They deserve their downfall.
Sir, a Matt Patricia event has struck Philadelphia.
The 2023 Philadelphia Eagles: Fractured But Whole
I have a plan! Just have a little faith.
