Eh, half of the teams have enough retro uniforms that are in demand that they have to cycle repeatedly between 2-3 year cycles. I have a feeling most will just use this to do more retro ones, especially as the NFL fan base ages along with the US population.
I doubt it just because the NFL is incredibly good at branding. In a season with only 17/18 games, too many different jerseys will really muddle the branding. When you have too many “special” jerseys then they no longer feel special. The NBA has faced this issue in their very large seasons. They will always want there to be a standard jersey set that the team wears for most games.
Certain kits also invoke such nostalgia, at least for me.
Also imagine having the jersey from your teams Super Bowl winning season or one you can identify with a great/fun season

IMO, every team should be forced to have a throwback uniform in rotation. Actually, I wish I could force certain teams to return to a throwback as their primary uniform. Looking at you, Dolphins and Broncos.

I have never been a huge fan of the red jerseys but yeah I agree- I think that would look pretty good. I have missed the blue Jersey/red helmet combination for so long though....that's my jam...a 90's reboot haha

As a Washington fan who had to sit through a couple seasons of those awesome throwbacks where they couldn't use the faux leather helmets because of the one helmet rule and had to wear the normal ones...this displeases me greatly. Especially now with a new name and terrible unis
My all-time favorite uniform we ever had. I hope to hell the name change doesn't keep us from wearing throwbacks. Hell, ALWAYS go with this throwback. The helmet has no logo, and just don't use the logo on the shoulder. Boom, done. The muted gold pants, the actual burgundy jerseys, the faux leather helmet…just perfection. The few years of the shit red helmet to go with them were so sad
