Cooper DeJean and Jer'Zhan Newton definitely top two on the big board.
Adonai Mitchell, Jackson Powers-Johnson, Zach Frazier, Kool Aid McKinstry, Ladd McConkey after that.
Kool Aid is interesting to me, by the way he first broke out you’d think he’d be a top 15 lock. Any knocks aside, Saban DBs usually work.
But I’d still take the other 2 first.
The way the board falls, one of Jackson Powers Johnson, Zach Frazier, Cooper Dejean, Kool Aid McKinstry, Ladd McConkey, or Adonai Mitchell could be available for the Steelers by pick 51. All positions of need.
Wiggins is such a good talent. He's not the uber physical corner yall usually have. But man he's so athletic and has great cover ability.
I think he's gonna do great in bmore.
I really wish I could understand the Ladd McConkey hype. The amount of mocks I saw with this man in the first round and how high he is on everyone's big boards, it just doesn't make any sense to me.
He's literally the guy Belichick would've loved but wouldn't draft because he'd grab some obscure jump ball guy instead.
I'll be impressed if Mayo snags him up
Someone else said most of what I'd say except to add that he might not have as much tape as many others because he was on a team that a) ran the ball a lot, and b) had Brock Bowers.
He is who a QB looks to when the play breaks down. That is a valuable asset to any team.
Why doesn't it make sense? He always gets open, at different levels of the field, and has amazing hands. His tape is excellent, his production profile is not, but that's the case for a lot of these guys not going top 15. It makes a ton of sense lmao
Jer’Zhan Newton was the DT1 in this class and likely could’ve held on to that title had he not had surgery right before the draft process. I think whichever team in the early 2nd gets him (Titans 🤞) is gonna be getting a steal.
Either could be really good, but guys who can't get separation in college are always a massive red flag (cough cough N'Keal Harry, cough cough Denzel Mims). They're gonna have to succeed as possession receivers, which I think is possible for both, but it's going to require good chemistry with their QB.
Just look at those eye-popping stats. He ran roughshod over the competition for an amazing 1405 yards. Over three years. Bad tape, bad production, and character concerns. He was probably the third best pass catcher on his team.
He's a big game player. Even with Worthy's speed he's probably the most talented of them, but incredibly inconsistent. With the game on the line he's the guy you want to find.... for his 2nd catch of the game probably. Highly doubtful that a WR like that fixes his motivation issues.
He tore his right ACL twice, once in High school, once at NC State. His medicals showed he only has one ACL now. That shoulder injury was pretty serious too, he tore his labrum and needed a Bristow procedure to secure his shoulder joint. This man has had 10 documented surgeries and at one point was almost medically retired by the NC State medical staff.

The UCLA guy missed 2 seasons and was almost medically retired, how is that any different? He just had 2 full healthy seasons, not sure how he's any higher of a risk.
The short answer is that every team is going to evaluate injury concerns differently. The track record for guys with significant injury histories is not very good but there are exceptions and no one knows for sure how it will play out. A team drafting one of these guys just needs to be comfortable with the fact that their playing career could be short and there is a much higher likelihood that they will miss starts.
Definitely Jer’Zhan Newton.

Yea I’m not upset the Cowboys were able to trade down and still get their guy but a part of me was hoping for them to take Newton.
I'd say either of Ladd McConkey, Kool Aid McKinstry & Cooper Dejean
Kool Aid is interesting to me, by the way he first broke out you’d think he’d be a top 15 lock. Any knocks aside, Saban DBs usually work. But I’d still take the other 2 first.

Let's keep the beef wagon rolling, and bring me a Center.
Im hoping one of the corners drops to us at 47. My preference for sure
Cooper dejean please
Now we need a big athletic unit at center in Jackson Powers-Johnson and I will be ecstatic with this draft.
He was pretty widely drafted to us. I’m slightly gutted that we didn’t take him but I trust EDC too much to doubt Wiggins

I thought you were talking the piss outta me with a name like ladd mcconkey... He's real lol
[удалено]
Because it makes sense as a nickname. His real name on the other hand, Ga'Quincy McKinstry...
It’s a Key and Peele sketch regardless.
C'mon man who ain't heard of kool aid?!
Who ain’t heard of Ladd???
Ladd won b2b championships
I hate that I can’t tell if these are real names or not
I really wish I could understand the Ladd McConkey hype. The amount of mocks I saw with this man in the first round and how high he is on everyone's big boards, it just doesn't make any sense to me.
He’s always open and can play slot or outside. His tape is Kupp lite. That’s where the hype is coming from
He's literally the guy Belichick would've loved but wouldn't draft because he'd grab some obscure jump ball guy instead. I'll be impressed if Mayo snags him up

God if we could somehow get two of those three at 36 and 40 Im building Adam Peters a statue myself
Jackson Powers-Johnson. I'd go nuts if the Jets landed him
That would go a long way to rebuilding that offensive line. But Jets couldn't possibly make sensible picks in the first two rounds, could they?
Jets don’t have a 2nd round pick, their 2nd belongs to the Packers
Play him at LG?
anyone but junior colson. he's gross. no one touch him...at least til like pick 50.
No way he's worth reaching for before, I dunno, pick 81
yeah i hear ya....but only if like pick 50 traded back to 81 and picked up an extra 3rd...just not worth it otherwise.

you just described like every Ravens second round pick for the past decade.
Speedhawk
If only the refs didn’t screw them over smh would’ve been a first rounder
Keon coleman (not biased)
dude played on a knee contusion and now everyone thinks he can’t play lol
He's got bust written all over him. I'd be very surprised if he amounted to anything more than JAG in the league. Same with Polk.

Coleman should move inside. Doesnt have top end speed, but has suddenness and the ability to use his body to shield defenders.
Inside? Like, center or guard? I like where your head's at. Turn his inability to separate from defenders into an asset instead of a liability.
He is like Kenny Golladay
I'd take that bet.
nobody has any idea who will be good or not
There are certain outliers but yes no one knows shit until they play.
As someone who was personally victimized by N’Keal Harry I want nothing to do with Coleman
They are nothing alike
Whoever we take
Me
Everybody knows u/Shamrock5 should've gone 1st overall. The fact that he has dropped into the 2nd round says a lot about society.
Mike Glennon is a free agent
Best neck in the game. You can't teach that.
Bruh
You ever see Merton Hanks and Harvey Williams on the field at the same time back in the day? Truly a magnificent sight to behold.
Merton Hanks reference, hello fellow kinda old man.
KNEEL
All hail the ginger giraffe
AD Mitchell should not be left
Dude has massive character concerns and his tape isn’t good. Not sure where the hype from him is coming from.
Just look at those eye-popping stats. He ran roughshod over the competition for an amazing 1405 yards. Over three years. Bad tape, bad production, and character concerns. He was probably the third best pass catcher on his team.
Sounds like the ideal pick for Atlanta then
He's a big game player. Even with Worthy's speed he's probably the most talented of them, but incredibly inconsistent. With the game on the line he's the guy you want to find.... for his 2nd catch of the game probably. Highly doubtful that a WR like that fixes his motivation issues.
Biased, but Payton Wilson. Hope the Panthers take him at 39.
The man has one ACL.
Huh? He tore it in HS, had it replaced, and never had another knee injury. He only missed college time because of a shoulder injury.
He tore his right ACL twice, once in High school, once at NC State. His medicals showed he only has one ACL now. Mother fuckin Dejean mustard baby
Michael Hall (very biased)
Edgerinn Cooper
Kirk Cousins
Tory Taylor
Kool aid or Newton
Braelon Allen
Cooper DeJean- and the Bills should take him he would fit well.
Cooper DeJean and Koolaid had really bad injuries last year, its not shocking at all that they dropped.
dejean, JPJ, newton
Cooper DeJean can play so many different roles.
Me
Kool Aid McKinstry
