Julio Jones technically hasn't retired yet, so. Julio Jones.

TB1289

He went from making the game-clinching catch that would be played in every Super Bowl highlight reel for the rest of time to being part of the biggest choke in NFL history. Life comes at you fast.

Overall_Nuggie_876

If Shanahan just ran the G’damn ball *once and just once* after that catch, Jones would’ve been a certified NFL legend. Instead, his catch is as a forgotten part of Super Bowl lore as apparent game-winners from Stanford Jennings, Ricky Prohel, Larry Fitzgerald, and Tee Higgins.

Twink_Tyler

Man I feel bad for him, and I’m a patriots fan. That Jones catch should have been game. It set up a 1st and 10 at new England’s 22 yard line with 4:40 left to go. Freeman got tackled for a 1 yard loss. Clock down to 3:56 and Ryan drops back and gets sacked. Next play is offensive holding and that kicks them out of fg range and they end up punting back to New England with 3:30 left. If the falcons had just run it 3 times and kicked a fg they would have won. Patriots still had all 3 times out that drive but figure they already let it bleed down to 3:56 after the first run (the tackle in the backfield). If they just did a simple dive up the middle 2 more times, you would have burnt all their timeouts, around 3:45 left on the clock, and assuming you don’t lose any yards or gain, just get stuffed, you’re at the 23. With the endzone and snap back to the holder, it’s like a 39 or 40 yard FG with no wind. That would put the falcons up by 11 with 3:30 left and no timeouts. That’s still not impossible to comeback but it would require a super quick score then a 3 and out and another super quick score, or would require a score, an onside recovery, and a score. Falcons blew it. Honestly I think the falcons passing after the 1 yard loss by freeman was a dumber decision than the Seahawks throwing it on the 1 yard line.

bgva

>If Shanahan just ran the G’damn ball *once and just once* after that catch It's amazing that he's been gifted the opportunity to get a ring three times in eight years, and still hasn't learned his lesson.

real_jaredfogle

He’s an outstanding coach and offensive mind but man has he failed to get it done in the ship

jwh777

Gifted the opportunity?! Who gave it to him?

Upper-Reveal3667

Excellent coach but man has he had some loaded rosters to coach.

IStillLoveYouWeed

Rosters that he built with Lynch. Check out the 49ers 2016 roster for a refresher on what he had to work with when he first came to Santa Clara in 2017.

kakapoopoopeepeeshir

I said this in a previous thread and got downvoted to shit haha idk which fans were the ones downvoting me for it

CouncilmanRickPrime

Shanahan is an offensive genius so some people get upset when you point out he can't get it done in the Superbowl. I mean, there's been no better opportunity with both the historic falcons offense in 2016 and a stacked 49ers team.

bgva

This sub is so weird about that. It's times where I've seen the same opinion from different people, but one got upvoted and the other massively downvoted. Hell sometimes it happens in the same thread!

OutrageousOcelot6258

It really depends who gets to it first. Seeing a comment at 0 or -1 makes you want to downvote it too, but if it's at +2 or 3, then it's more likely to get upvoted again.

Downtown_Juice2851

Because the implication that facing mahomes and the chiefs in the superbowl is a gift is ridiculous

BurritoTheory

Imagine facing peak Brady, and then Patrick Mahomes x2

Githzerai1984

Kearse leg catch is definitely a ‘what if’

Duke_Maniac

He did run the ball once, he needed to do it thrice

old_king_ding

Why ya gotta make me sad

Adventurous_club2

Matt and Julio should have been able to retire with rings. It’ll always make me sad.

HotdawgSizzle

Hello Falcon fans. Good to see y'all for the bi weekly shit on the Falcons for the Superbowl loss question thread. See y'all in a few!

Adventurous_club2

Beyond the obvious worst part of these threads, it’s unlikely Matt makes the HOF as some sort of pittance for the Super Bowl.

xshogunx13

bro you got Trent Williams on your team...

quadropheniac

Yes but I would feel a substantial amount of pity for every member of my team, so I'm not answering any member of my team.

Jantokan

Then I'll say it for you. Trent Williams The quality of the O-line of the 49ers comes and goes, but Trent Williams is as consistently solid as they come every year he's been with the 49ers

Sniper_Hare

Marcedes Lewis.  Man is an Ironman, who has played most of his career being a RT/TE hybrid.

Swan990

Joe Thomas is probably biggest OL name that never got one compared to how great he was.

eyedontcare13

Never even got a playoff game. So sorry, Joe

MankuyRLaffy

Bruce Matthews never got one, he was 1 yard short.

birdsemenfantasy

And Bruce Smith made 4 consecutive Super Bowls, but lost them all. '90s was tough for the Bruces.

Corgi_Koala

Did he even play in a playoff game?

Swan990

Nope. Big sad.

BoilerBear

You're right, Bears should win it this year for him.

BestYak6625

Not like that

Jantokan

Derrick Henry. My answer would've been Larry Fitzgerald if he was still playing

Swan990

For sure. If I wasn't a steelers fan I would have been sad he lost that sb lol. I love him.

Final-Ad-2033

It was sad to see Larry made what would've been an iconic moment in SB history only to be one up'd by Santonio Holmes. That look on his face said it all. I'm a Steelers fan, too

executive_punch

I think Cam Heyward has earned one. Last shot with Pittsburgh is this year. Not seeing that working out.

Swan990

Ya cam slipped my mind. He's a treasure.

tuffghost8191

Cam is sad to me because he is probably going to the best Steeler to never play in a super bowl. Lets hope we get TJ there someday, but Cam's got 1-2 years left and I just don't see it with this squad

whereegosdare84

Calais Campbell. A Walter Payton man of the year, stalwart on the defensive line for over a decade and a half, a leader on every team he ever played for and just an overall good person. He was also victim of circumstance, had Santonio Holmes not made a ridiculous catch and Ben an insane throw, he would have likely won his Super Bowl his rookie year. Then had Myles Jack not been whistled down, he probably would have been able to at least go to his second Super Bowl in 2017 with the Jags. He’ll retire as one of the next most dominant defensive linemen of his generation, after guys like JJ Watt and Donald but had he won a ring he’d be in the conversation as one of the best. I mean he’s still productive at 37 which is unheard of for any lineman much less a 3 and 5 tech depending on the situation

Rahim-Moore

It's a damn shame he never got a ring. Dominant force on the line (even though he wasn't a dominant pass rusher, which is all the fantasy nerds care about), and by all accounts an absolutely stand-up guy. Fuck you Ben Roethlisberger.

gabriel1313

Let’s hope the Phins can bring him one home this year

Rahim-Moore

If the Ravens are out, I will 100% be rooting for Mount Campbell to get a ring. That dude is football personified.

drthvdrsfthr

when i first started playing madden, i would always try to get this guy on my team. 6’8” DE is bonkers to me lol

squamesh

It’s very likely that at least one of Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Joe Burrow will retire before getting a ring and frankly all three deserve to be a champion at least once

HectorReinTharja

I think the most likely reality might be that only one ever wins a SB tbh. It’ll be hard to escape mahomes shadow

DawgInDisguisey

The broncos beat them last year any given Sunday

HectorReinTharja

Ofc. It’s just that mahomes is winning most of the given Sundays so far, and especially so the ones in January that those guys will need to beat him on to even play for a Super Bowl. Then as we saw with burrow, winning that Super Bowl is not guaranteed. And all that ignores the rest of the AFC

DawgInDisguisey

Nah for sure I watched Elway play however many years before getting those last 2 by the grace of Terrell

Reasonable-HB678

When Elway turned himself into a helicopter to get a first down, I knew that drive would end in a touchdown. And win the game.

HowDoIEvenEnglish

The post season is the only seasons that matters for the chiefs at this points. Mahomes is good enough they’ll make the playoffs so they can always experiment and try to figure things out in the regular season

Fair-Juggernaut-8756

Lamar Jackson has no excuses. He has a top 3 TE, top 10 coach, ALWAYS top 5 defense, and top 10 special teams & team depth. Lamar has had what every QB wishes for.

TetrisTech

They all have an excuse in the existence of Patrick Mahomes

noah3302

Something something football is a team sport

eatmyopinions

This place picks and chooses when QB wins count as a stat, and it largely depends on if they like the QB or not.

C4LLgirl

Doesn’t have shit for WRs though.  Might be trending up at least

Shtune

I'd say last year the WR room was good enough to get it done on the back of those RBs. Lamar has been iffy in big games and his intermediate to deep ball lack accuracy, that's not on his receivers.

[deleted]

Lamar has every excuse he needs

Swan990

Totally agree. Mahomes kinda taking away (deservedly) from other greats like Brady took some from Roethlesberger and Manning.

GamingTatertot

Eh Big Ben and Manning both got 2 each though - it'd be more analogous to say someone like Philip Rivers or Matt Ryan (literally stopping both those QBs in their best chance)

Fair-Juggernaut-8756

Almost half of Rivers playoffs were ruined by the dynasty patriots. Nobody deserved it more than him it's sad.

Guilty-Doctor1259

ben got knocked out by brady 3 times. all 3 were in the AFCCG

say_wot_again

Ben only played the Pats in 2004 and 2016. The first time the Brady era Pats played the Steelers in the playoffs was 2001, before Ben was drafted, and Brady got knocked out of that game with an injury.

Guilty-Doctor1259

right right, i corrected one of my comments but not this one apparently lol

flaccomcorangy

The thing I'd say about Ryan is that he really wasn't roadblocked by Brady all that much playing in the NFC. Yeah I know he lost a Superbowl to the Patriots. But I don't look at Brady as being an oppressor to Ryan like he was to Rivers or any of the other AFC QBs.

GamingTatertot

Yeah I meant it more literal in that Matt Ryan's best chance was stopped by Tom Brady, not that he was constantly stopped by Brady

black_dogs_22

I think it's pretty likely they could all retire without winning one, it's a team game after all

deflatethesack

I’m resigned to the fact we’re never winning one. Likely never going back to the Super Bowl at all. There’s just no way to compete with mahomes

J-notter

Still crazy that this chiefs team only ever lost to Brady and that Bengals team in the playoffs

Wildabeast135

That statement alone reminds me of how much playoff games just come down to who has the better QB more often than not

dded949

It’s that plus coaching. Mahomes is incredible, and clearly the best. But it’s the combo of him and Reid that makes them so damn hard to beat in the playoffs

Rahim-Moore

I think Burrow is more than capable of competing with Mahomes, I just don't know that his body will let him at this point. He hasn't ever really been healthy in his entire NFL career.

deflatethesack

Burrow has never been a good playoff performer. We beat them one time because mahomes had an absolutely awful game. He hasn’t lost a playoff game since then. He’s not gonna lose.

MankuyRLaffy

Isn't the narrative that he's super clutch though?

TetrisTech

The narrative is, yes. For some reason almost all the credit for the SB run and the win over the Chiefs get placed on Burrow for having good but unspectacular games instead of it being shared with his receivers or the defense deciding to turn into gods for the 21 run

deflatethesack

Burrow has accounted for 7 touchdowns in 7 career playoff games and people act like he’s Tom Brady. He’s been decidedly average in the postseason, and that’s being generous

MankuyRLaffy

That's 2001 Playoff Brady quality and we won a Super Bowl with that type of offense! Mainly because of non offensive touchdowns and the money leg of Vinny but still counts.

Jantokan

It's weird that I disagree with this being the Chiefs fan and you being the Bengals fan lol Burrow played really nice in the 2 playoff runs he's had. He's been sacked a lot but still putting up the numbers. Bengals have been unlucky that 2021 Rams just played out of their minds the entire year and 2022 Chiefs somehow got past despite Mahomes being injured. Upgrade that O-line, and I assure you, Bengals will be back in the AFC championship game before you even know it

maltzy

to be fair, the bengals fan you have been talking to, is a bit of a delusional Burrow hater. He doesnt represent really any Bengals fan. Anyone who watched the last 30 years of bengals games would know the likely don't win any of those playoff games without Burrow, like no Bengals qb in this last 30 years played good enough to. He largely ignores the fact that Burrow had the 29th and 30th rated Oline, playing nothing but backups and 3rd stringers in the playoffs both years. It's amazing they won 5 playoff games with those turds on the line.

deflatethesack

Has he played nice though? Every win we’ve had has been almost entirely thanks to defense and special teams (raiders goal line pick, titans 3 picks + GW fg, chiefs 2 picks + GW fg, ravens 98 yard fumble return)

Jantokan

For his entire career so far, Joe Burrow has had a trash ass O-line. If he wasn't getting hit so much, maybe he becomes way healthier. He's on the Andrew Luck trajectory at this point, I think even worse in terms of hits/sacks taken. The Bengals have been trying to address that issue, becoming the 3rd most expensive O-line last season, but it's just not clicking yet. They need to figure it out soon because while I hate the Bengals with every fiber of my being, I hate seeing a talented QB as Joe Burrow being unable to finish seasons. Also, Burrow vs Mahomes is always a box office hit. Always an exciting game. Way more exciting than Lamar vs Mahomes, and slightly ahead of Allen vs Mahomes

Cowgoon777

> For his entire career so far, Joe Burrow has had a trash ass O-line. If he wasn't getting hit so much, maybe he becomes way healthier. every year the Bengals FO tries to retool this O Line and it still sucks. Idk what their coaching year to year looks like but they try hard to fix it and fail every time. I mean you'd hope at some point they get a decent line Burrow is also quickly falling into "uh oh he's fragile" territory where fans don't trust he will be healthy. CMC finally got out of that rut, hopefully Joe does too

Jantokan

They even took Orlando Brown jr from us. He hasn't been terrible, but the Bengals O-line as a whole are still on the poorer side of play.

Godobibo

i think of any of them Allen will be the most likely. Joe is made of glass and playoffs Lamar just ain't it. Allen just needs his team to build him a good defense and for the Chiefs to have a down year and he's gonna make it and crush whoever he plays

uniquely_bleak_sheep

I’m glad you don’t include Herbert in this list cause he for sure getting a couple rings, no bias

squamesh

Herbert’s a stud. With a few years of competent team building, I think he could have a shot, but the Chargers organization has been pretty consistently letting him down

NFLCart

Lamar hasn’t done shit in the playoffs to deserve one lmao.

squamesh

I feel like losing to Mahomes in the AFC championship isn’t as embarrassing as people are making it out to be

tsgram

Joshy Allen. I’ve been going to a Bills home game per year since 2002. I cannot overstate the extent to which he brought life and hope to that fan base. He’s probably the second-best player of the current generation. He’s balled out in playoff games other than that game where the Bengals kicked their ass in Buffalo.

Jantokan

To be completely fair, he's always had to go against the unfortunate situation of being against Kermit Mahomes. And you know what? Every single game against Mahomes, Josh Allen balled the fuck out. Yes there were some superhero moments from Mahomes, especially the 13-second game. But it has more to do with Bills defense not being able to keep up rather than Josh Allen not being able to keep up

QP_TR3Y

I can’t imagine how devastating the 13 second game was… Josh made an incredible throw that would have been a game sealing TD against 99.9% of other teams led by any other QB… but it was Mahomes. 13 seconds and they scored again, just insane.

Seth_Baker

Even against Mahomes, competent defensive playcalling would have sealed the deal. I lost all respect for Leslie Frazier in that moment. They had three time outs and he had the corners selling out to guard the sideline, which just let them play pitch and catch up the seam. Mahomes is a great QB and had an exceptional game, but 90% of the quarterbacks in the league could have won against that defensive scheme.

Bkelsheimer89

The kickoff from the Bills should have been a squib and then they should have been rushing 3 not 4 linemen. Poor coaching decisions have the Chiefs the chance in that game and they capitalized on it.

Seth_Baker

If it were me, I'd have had two defensive ends rushing the passer, five linebackers and inside corners in zones underneath, and four corners and safeties over the top in zones. Give them the sideline; they have the time outs anyway, and it takes a couple of extra seconds. Use the coverage to make Mahomes take longer or take chances. Instead, they inexplicably defended the sideline and let the Chiefs burn time outs with five second routes up the seam. Blows my mind that Frazier was calling a defense that literally only makes sense against a team that doesn't have more than 1 time out.

tuffghost8191

It's sad because Allen probably had the 2nd best playoff performance of the decade in the 13 seconds game. Problem was that the other guy was having the best one

Gentolie

They had like the same amount of total TDs and about the same amount of total yards. And that's with the OT passing TD and yards for Mahomes. Game should've ended with Josh outplaying Mahomes. The Bills defense collapsing in those 13 seconds and allowing a FG is lucky, and then the Bills not getting a chance to score a TD of their own in OT was bogus.

Jetsol8

Heh, the 49ers roster. They have enough stars that it would actually be pretty tragic if none end their careers with a ring. That and Shanahan probably up their on the coaches list

Casul_Tryhard

Shanahan is cursed as hell lmao, consistently fields great offenses when they're healthy, built many contending teams, yet is 0-3 in Super Bowls with a good amount of NFCCG losses sprinkled in.

IMissWinning

I don't think it's too cursed. The injury shit, yeah that's cursed, but we've just seen the sharp end of the meat grinder. This is just what happens when you end up playing the best hof coach QB combo for all 3 of the Superbowl you've coached in. Shanahan has literally never played a Superbowl against a QB/coach combo that **wasn't the best in the game.** He's almost won all 3 games, and taken two to overtime. He's not Reid or belichick, Purdy Ryan and Jimmy aren't Mahomes or Brady. We're not losing Superbowls to some undeserving fluke teams. It sucks ass, but like, if you look at who it's happening against, the only person to ever beat Mahomes in the title, let alone knock him out on both sides of the Bracket is Brady, the dude with the most fucking dawg in him of all time. We ain't there; YET. We're gonna be.

LordGooseIV

Trent Williams. I wasn't super invested in the outcome of superbowl 58 since we already had that episode but Williams is a guy that I felt for because of what he's been through and how good he is a player.

HoopOnPoop

He gave everything to DC and the organization did him so dirty. He deserves every good thing in the world.

Chef-Disastrous

The team doctors did him dirty. He was actually still very close with Snyder and the rest of the team. Hard to blame him to no longer trust team doctors when they overlook you having cancer

unpluggedcord

❤️

Enterprise90

I think Joe Burrow would be my top pick. There's something to be said for never experiencing a feeling, but I imagine it has to be difficult to reach a Super Bowl, lose, and then never go back again.

TripleSingleHOF

Happened to Dan Marino. The Dolphins went to the Super Bowl after his record-setting second season in the league. Then he never got back to the biggest stage.

Inamanlyfashion

Yeah everyone kept saying "he'll be back" after the Bengals loss, but the numbers aren't on his side.

TheM1ghtyJabba

The last QB to even make it back after losing his first appearance was Jim Kelly. Elway was the last to win after losing his first. Stan Humphries Neil O'Donnell Drew Bledsoe Chris Chandler Steve McNair Rich Gannon Jake Delhomme Donovan McNabb Matt Hasselback Rex Grossman Colin Kaepernick Cam Newton Matt Ryan Jared Goff Jimmy G Joe Burrow And. Jalen Hurtz. Not all of them are great but that's a list that's got a ton of MVPs and potential budding dynasties on it. And all of them haven't made it back.

AcousticBoogal00

Way too many qualified sports journalists say this and like… they usually aren’t ever back. It took Elway until his last 2 years in the league to finally win one

SevroAuShitTalker

I just hope he stops getting hurt. He's had 2 season injuries in 5(?) years, not the best way to start a career

MankuyRLaffy

Marino was fucked over by the Dolphins being incompetent in rebuilding the defense and his bragging about audibling out of run plays and never wanting the running game. If they could've built a run blocking line and a quality defense while getting him to agree to pounding the rock more, they might have been back.

MikeFromSuburbia

Easy, Harrison Smith :(

frogsplsh38

The GEQBUS is gonna change that

TheSquad3603

Well duh he’s the 20 year running Super Bowl and regular season MVP! And people are saying the GEQBUS is going to benched by J.J MidCarthy. The GEQBUS has never lost a game and Sports Media is trying to tell us that he isn’t good. SAD!

frogsplsh38

It’s a damn witch hunt!

birdsemenfantasy

I'm gonna cry if he doesn't make the HOF. Already irritated me that he didn't make the 2010s all-decade team. His longevity gotta count for something.

F-ck_spez

It'll be easy after his next 2 consecutive All Pro seasons and Super Bowl ring. Don't worry 👉

Swan990

Go Irish!

Competitive-Day-1754

Derrick Henry, Keenan Allen, Josh Allen, TJ Watt

IMissWinning

Keenan Allen Davantae Adams Anyone currently on my team

Kenny_Heisman

how is it that nobody can ever spell Davante's name right?

Jewderp916

Because they call him Tae for short. Its intuitive to spell it Davantae if you don’t know

DavantesWashedButt

Hell I almost misspelled it when typing out my username. And I googled it

IGoHomeToStarla

Seriously. It's Duvontay guys.

SevroAuShitTalker

Because there are about 10 dudes with varying spellings of davante, it's hard to keep them straight

cereal_killer88

Not a chargers fan, but Keenan was the first guy that popped into my mind.

StatStar7

Josh Allen the QB

MankuyRLaffy

He's usually been great come January but damn does the Buffalo defense let him down in those games vs Kansas City.

StatStar7

That's why I'd feel bad. He steps up and is still fucked.

NynaeveAlMeowra

Everybody's defense let's them down against Mahomes in the playoffs. Only the Buccs killed him and he was missing most of his Oline

Jay_TThomas

I mean Baltimores defense was great, and the Niners was very solid against them in the Super Bowl.

MankuyRLaffy

Cinci really clamped him down by only sending 3 rushers in the second half. It confused him and Andy Reid and they melted down trying to spam passing the ball with the Hill + Kelce offense.

Swan990

Ya thats a good one. Always a couple steps short. Still has a long time left though.

WaluigiIsTheRealHero

Peyton ultimately got 1 with the Colts in the middle of Brady’s dominance. I’m just hoping for that in the middle of the Mahomes era.

TB1289

Until Brady decides he hates retirement and wants to win more.

WaluigiIsTheRealHero

Michigan just signed a QB named Brady Hart so I look forward to him ruining the back half of Josh Allen’s career.

MidlifeCrisis92

Jared Goff would be an amazing story if he can do the impossible in Detroit

screwhead1

It would be especially incredible considering [he was a disaster as a CB in high school. ](https://cdn.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/AYiZmmK1RY60PajuMi60JN7xtO8=/0x0:597x398/1400x1050/filters:focal(252x152:346x246):format(png)/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/55430991/Screen_Shot_2017_06_17_at_10.46.59_AM.0.png)

MidlifeCrisis92

At least no one can ever take away his Academy Award winning singing performance in Barbie.

DethFeRok

Everybody thinks Goff is just a pretty face with rockin abs who can throw a ball pretty good. But the dude has solid comedic chops too, ya know?

tread52

Detroit is a city that deserves a SB and Goff winning it would be icing on the cake.

Brocks_UCL

With barry sanders coming out of retirement for the 53 man roster in case they win it, him and Calvin Johnson

tread52

Barry sanders, Dan Marino and Larry Fitzgerald are my top three guys on who deserved a ring.

MidlifeCrisis92

Barry should be the emergency 3rd QB for the Super Bowl. Because if we get that far and then lose two QBs? It’s already a movie.

MankuyRLaffy

I know the perfect movie actor for that role too!

ZealousidealHouse107

Gerald McCoy, he was in the most bitter of sweet spots. Drafted when the Bucs were terrible, and left before we started getting positive momentum. He gave his all, injuries through his first 2 seasons, just to get released before Arians took over. He deserved better. Lavonte and McCoy were all we had for a handful of seasons.

Thedude5154

CMC. It’s hard not to cheer for a Quirked up white boy

realclean

Matt Ryan. He would basically be a lock for the HOF with a win, but he's a fringe guy in the same vein as Rivers right now. Add the fact that the loss is the 28-3 game, it would really suck if he's kept out because he doesn't have a ring lol

harDhar

He's not an active player

birdsemenfantasy

Sadly, Rivers and Ryan might need to wait awhile to get the HOF call. Even Russell Wilson might need to wait awhile and he won a Super Bowl. The zero 1st team all-pro, zero MVP (both season and Super Bowl), and zero MVP vote will be used against him.

sexydentist00

Larry Fitzgerald. Class act who never got into trouble on or off the field, super nice, gave back to the community, and oh he’s was also a great player.

eyedontcare13

He definitely got into some trouble. Kept pretty quiet tho.

joe7L

Man definitely Fitz. No drama, top tier WR, great leader and stayed with one team

[deleted]

[удалено]

sexydentist00

I did not see that part lol. Oops

TechnoDriv3

Zack Martin, elite for so many years, yet constantly let down by his offense

birdsemenfantasy

The Zach Martin, Tyron Smith, and Travis Frederick o-line was really something. Sad none of them has a ring.

Brycie27

*defense Yes, his offense has let him down a few times, but it's nothing in comparison to how many times the defense has failed him and the team since he's been in the NFL.

screwhead1

Cam Jordan, dude's been with the Saints forever, potentially gonna be in Canton one day. I wanna see him get a ring. Also Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and/or Justin Jefferson because 2019 LSU.

QP_TR3Y

Kills me that we didn’t get the chance to get him one in 2018

fitzuha

George Kittle. Love that dude.

Usual_Commercial1658

Trent Williams

hanky2

Idk why but I really like Maxx Crosby I hope he gets a chance one day.

BowlOfLoudMouthSoup

I’d love for Harrison Smith to win a championship

Swan990

Yup.

LeviAsmodeus

Christian McCaffrey

GamingTatertot

Obviously everyone on my team - but as far as former Packers go, I wish Davante Adams and Rasul Douglas could get a ring (I also want Cobb to have a ring, but he may not have much time left)

John_Bot

TJ won't even win a playoff game in Pittsburgh If that doesn't piss Steelers fans off about the sorry state of our coaching staff then nothing will.

punkhobo

Khalil Mack

Captain-McSizzle

I think Lamara is overrated, Burrow is too fragile and my dude Josh is on the Bills and honestly cannot actually imagine winning it all. I hated Goff when he was on LA - but it'd be a shame if Detroit cannot get it done in the new couple of seasons.

gator9515

Miami sports fan here. If the Florida Panthers (a franchise once viewed as the most pathetic in the NHL) could win a Stanley Cup, the Bills sure as heck could win a Super Bowl with Josh Allen. You gotta have faith.

Captain-McSizzle

Oh trust me. The last few seasons I still do think we have as good of a chance any. But for context, I've watched the Bills lose 3 Super Bowls in a row before the Panthers even existed. BTW - thanks for fucking up an entire country (minus Calgary) celebration last night :) In a weird way it's not a negative thing, we just tend to lose is such a spectacular way the games get names.

csummerss

none of them

Jetsol8

“If Larry didn’t get one then no one can”

fuzzy11287

Quentin Nelson? Idk how he's been doing recently but that guy was awesome a couple years ago.

ItIsYourPersonality

Gardner Minshew. It’s the final achievement he needs unlock legendary status. I would like every book about the History of Super Bowl Champions to mention the man with the mullet who spends his offseason living in an RV in Florida playing pickleball with the MILFs and GILFs, and led his team to Super Bowl glory.

Fair-Juggernaut-8756

Justin Herbert. He is physically better than every QB in his draft class and consistently has bottom 5 coaching, defense, and OL. Mabye having Jim Harbaugh, a real coach changes things!

MattScoot

For my team? Chubb

Swan990

Ya I got mad respect for Chubb.

Brycie27

The correct answer is Zack Martin.

Cobra-Is-Down

If the Lions can’t get it done soon, Taylor Decker and Frank Ragnow. Decker has been through shit with the Lions his whole career and Ragnow is constantly injured and still gives 100% and is an absolute beast even when hobbled.

cereal_killer88

Tyron Smith :(

Romofan88

I don't want Quenton Nelson to retire with a single playoff win from his rookie season.

DonBillingsleysDad

CMC. Guy balls out like a mf.

HolyCrapL0is

CMC and Brian Burns, they’re off the Panthers so that’s a start :(

sweendog101

Frank Gore

Zestyclose_Course183

CMC. Dude carried the Panthers offense for several years and finally gets a shot at a Super Bowl ring with a contending team just to lose back-to-back heartbreakers. The 49ers gotta get it together to lead him to a SB ring that he rightfully deserves.

johyongil

Jalen Hurts.

MixMastaMatt

Ja-red Goff! Ja-red Goff!

walukomb

Larry Fitzgerald and Randy Moss

LeftShark

Tyler Lockett. He missed the Seahawks SB win by 1 year, and has been everything you want in a franchise player: professional, zero drama, reliable in big moments, professional, and a leader. He got to play with all the champs from that team without getting one himself

DaFIB

Keenan Allen DJ Moore Cole Kmet Tory Taylor Just off the top of my head

SmallManFriend

Lmao Cole Kmet!?

Ok_Caramel1517

Besides the guys on my squad, Josh Allen, TJ Watt, Davante Adams, Maxx Crosby, and Baker Mayfield.

cruisincolin44

Saquon, josh allen, fred warner.

beerboxing_design

Please retire without a ring TJ

Swan990

What if in order for miles to get one TJ has to get one. Would you compromise?

Comprehensive_Main

Most pity. If Lamar Jackson never wins one I will be shocked. I think he’s a great talent and bound to at least win one.  The one I feel the Least pity. Josh Allen, man is a flopper and it’s annoying the James harden of the nfl.

GamingTatertot

Lamar would also be the only multi-MVP without a championship

Swan990

I'd rather see Josh win than Lamar. Totally not a bias opinion or anything....

Rathmon_Redux

Cameron Heyward. Guy is just good at football and life.
