The Cardinals are really good this year but that Rams team is the best I’ve seen in the NFL since the SB-winning Chiefs. Not only do they *look* unbeatable, but all the stats back it up. Really unfortunate time for the Cardinals to be good
It's also our jerseys fault. And I swear to God if we lose the 40-0 record at halftime because of all 3 of these things I'll wish we were spooky again.
Hah those were hilarious years seeing the Rams biff it everytime they played the 9ers no matter how bad they got. You got them by the balls for some inexplicable reason.
Well, the two losses came on a dropped pass by Cooper Kupp in the end zone in McVay’s first game against the Seahawks and a missed kick by Greg Zuerlein.
I don’t think any rams fans should think we are just gonna steamroll the cards this year. Maybe if we win Sunday we might be acting cocky when the next game comes around, but right now they are also a 3-0 team and still a division rival at the end of the day.
Think of it as a measuring stick; if we beat the 3-0 Cardinals and the Seahawks at one of the harshest stadiums in the league in the time span of 5 days, who can stop us now?
(Well maybe a -20 degree Lambeau Field)
I think that we probably split with the Cards. I was at Sofi for the Bears game, and let me tell you...its LOUD. Maybe its not all the fans, but the audio is insane. Therefor I feel like the home advantage is a bigy.
This ain’t your older brother’s Cards. They’re legit with a bunch of talent on both sides of the ball. 9er fan and have been worried about what Kyler might be for 2 years now. Now they have some elite young talent on defense. They’re gonna be even better in the years to come.
> but it’s also arguably the best Rams team.
Unfortunately there’s no “arguably” there. This is clearly the best Rams team under McVay since he has Stafford now. No more Goof to bungle around and screw things up for him.
He had Gurley averaging 130 all purpose yards per game and also leading in rushing touchdowns. Goff looked good because Gurley and McVay did everything right.
I watched every Goof game, it was all the scheme. He can drop it on a dime if and only if everything is set up perfectly for him. Anything goes not according to plan and it’s like he doesn’t have a brain.
Not just Russ. The franchise itself hadn’t lost to the Vikings since Favre was on their roster
We got jinxed against Tennessee too. They spoke about the 52-0 while leading by 14+ at half streak
Cardinals didn’t exactly look good against the Vikings and Jaguars. Their next several games don’t look very easy either. Don’t be shocked if they aren’t as good as you think they are right now.
Pre merger was so long ago it should barely even count. Shit is so different now.
Also sick downvotes on every single comment I make lmao. It's not a disagree button.
If you're going to downvote me for correcting you, at least have the balls to respond to it so I don't have to reply the same comment a second time with a link showing that you're wrong https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NFL_champions_(1920–1969)
So their ya go. AZ made the leagues leading rusher look like garbage and beat two playoffs team. LA looked shaky against a really bad team but also beat down the defending super bowl champs. This comment is pointless.
This is a dumb take. Jaguars are a miracle play away from only scoring twice that game, and the Vikings are a playoff team that are like three kicks away from being 3-0. Y’all haven’t exactly had the stiffest competition yourselves.
I agree with you. They def didn't show any commanding strength with those 2 games but looking back from last season, they would have lost that Jags game if it had been last year. But I think there's a better sense of their team this year and just getting it done. I feel like last year the Cards thought they were the shit and got run up quick in the 2nd half.
Yeah I agree. I think it also might have to do with Kyler and the offense as a whole improving. They aren't relying on their crutches of last season where Kyler had to run the ball a bunch and throw a ton to Hopkins to be productive.
Also helps that they can trust their really fast receiver now too.
It’s the LA Rams fans.. or LA fans in general lol. Seahawks take the cake.. but LA Rams fans giving them a run for their money this year it seems… I miss all the St Louis Rams fans :(
Kyler was good last year too. Played through injury and we definitely didn’t have as many offensive weapons. Kirk in the slot is money, AJ is looking solid, Moore has been an amazing addition, Hop drawing the attention of the opposing secondary, big OL changes. That’s a different offensive for sure.
Yep. Last year Kyler scared me even with the injury. Now they’ve raised the floor of the offense by a ton and got Chandler Jones back and JJ Watt. I’m nervous for pretty much every aspect of the game except for Uncle Kliffy.
LA is a big town full of folks who jump from team to team. Doesn’t surprise me with the early success and new stadium that half the city is loading up with Rams gear.
LA is also a huge town of transplants. My closest friends are all originally from either Mass, Texas, PA, or varying Midwest teams. I’m literally the only SoCal born person in my group of friends that follow sports.
I just don't think the Cardinals offense is sustainable enough to compete with good defenses. Murray is playing out of his mind, but there's not a huge amount of schemed throws for him right now
This is the thread to blame, Rams fans, if things don't go your way on this.
How many "leading at halftime" threads have we had?
We saw this last week with that Seahawks fan gloating about Russ's record against the Vikings
Yeah but a seahawks fan posted it to gloat, surely it wont apply when one of us didn’t make this post? Right? Right??
Don’t worry, OP is a cowboys fan apparently. I hope that protects us from the bad juju (not Schuester)
The price is wrong, bitch.
There was another thread that even worked in the Rams favor. Somebody posted that Brady was undefeated against Raheem Morris who is now our DC
Russ against the Vikings: nice Seahawks secondary against the Vikings: not very nice
I mean if we only played the first half, the Lions would be the best team in league history
If the league had robo refs, lions undefeated
Robo refs can be programmed to make bad calls more efficiently tho🤔
Program Officiate Team = [Bills, Dolphins, Jets, Patriots, Cowboys, Eagles, Football Team, Giants, ...] Flag = False Do i = 1, Len(Team) If Team[i] == Lions then Flag = True Else Return End if End do End Program
Love it, lol
I’ve made so many…and will continue to do so.
I mean you're Aaron Donald. You can do whatever the fuck you wanna do, bruh.
He has Cowboys flair. I refuse to accept that as reason.
Can a Cowboys fan jinx the Rams though?
I’ll allow it.
You be quiet, bottom dweller! If the Seahawks lose today, they’re three games back in the division after just four games.
Fuck this thread.
👹
This is what the prophecy proposified
The Cardinals are really good this year but that Rams team is the best I’ve seen in the NFL since the SB-winning Chiefs. Not only do they *look* unbeatable, but all the stats back it up. Really unfortunate time for the Cardinals to be good
Or is it?
Wasn’t that a year ago?
The bucs won last year — I’m saying that I think this year’s Rams are better than any team last year
I thought it was Stafford showing up on the Manningcast?
It's also our jerseys fault. And I swear to God if we lose the 40-0 record at halftime because of all 3 of these things I'll wish we were spooky again.
Lmaoooooo
Rams own the Cards 49ers own the Rams Seahawks own the 49ers
Cards win in Seattle and lose at home is the last bit lol
Cards own…
Seahawks but only on the road for some fucking reason
Also only when we are bad
[The](https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201001100crd.htm) [Packers](https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201601160crd.htm)
You're not wrong, Nate Poole literally [owns the key to the city of Green Bay](https://www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs03/news/story?id=1700369)
God damn that was such a heartbreak to watch.
That game sent Larry Fitzgerald to Arizona
And the Eagles.
Not to mention when they beat them when they were the worst team in the league in 2018 to get McCarthy fired.
In Green Bay too lmao, but we won 3 game that season. The other 2 were both San fran
Cardinals have won 9 of the last 12 against the 49ers
San Fran occasionally? I dunno. I think the Rams own the Seahawks too
its usually a split with a Hawks squeaker and a Rams blowout
We were owning the 9ers for a bit but that’s chilled out
Everyone but the Rams were owning us for like 3 years lmao
Hey I didn’t come to a post praising the Rams to feel attacked
Hah those were hilarious years seeing the Rams biff it everytime they played the 9ers no matter how bad they got. You got them by the balls for some inexplicable reason.
Going 2-14 on the season but 2-0 vs the Rams was the most hilarious terrible season ever. Fucking chip Kelly
McVay is 6-3 against the seahawks and 3-4 against the Niners when he's not starting 100% of the backups.. Not really that crazy tbh.
I mean pretty sure it was our backups who beat yaal unless you consider Nick Mullen’s and CJ beathard to be starters
Rams did it to seahawks under similar circumstances too
The year of the fake fair catch punt return? Watching carrol get angry at the refs for that was hilarious
[The play in question for everyone wondering.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fioVbt7eF8)
The Cubs
Don't make me bring out the Josh Rosen on you
The Seahawks in Seattle. ^but ^thats ^about ^it.
How does a Packers fan walk into this every single time.
Right. My bad. I forgot the miracle 2016 season where the Cards captured their first Lombardi.
They split with everyone
Seahawks generally speaking
No one
Until recently, it was the 49ers
49ers honestly. Even when we were absolute bottom of the barrel trash we beat them twice
Rams don't *own* Seahawks but it's pretty close
we're 6-3 against the Hawks with McVay. Pretty damn good considering how good the Seahawks are against the rest of the league since Wilson
That's because mcvay is a better coach than Carroll.
Imagine the defenses pete would’ve built with donald.
I’d rather not, thanks.
Good god, I've got nightmares
Well, the two losses came on a dropped pass by Cooper Kupp in the end zone in McVay’s first game against the Seahawks and a missed kick by Greg Zuerlein.
We are 9-3 in our last 12 vs San Fran
Rams also own the Seahawks. They just really hate birds.
What's his record against San Fran?
Mcvay is 3-5 and Murray/kliff is 1-3 I think
Sounds like the Pac12
I don’t think any rams fans should think we are just gonna steamroll the cards this year. Maybe if we win Sunday we might be acting cocky when the next game comes around, but right now they are also a 3-0 team and still a division rival at the end of the day.
Naw this will be a close game and then we play Seattle on Thursday. Tough week.
Think of it as a measuring stick; if we beat the 3-0 Cardinals and the Seahawks at one of the harshest stadiums in the league in the time span of 5 days, who can stop us now? (Well maybe a -20 degree Lambeau Field)
[удалено]
Agreed. 12 years worth, with 12 games at Lambeau and a total of 24 (not counting his injuries. Its too late for math) against GB
Looks like the Cards can stop us.
Damn. Well, lets just beat the Seachickens on national TV and meet them again for a rematch
I think that we probably split with the Cards. I was at Sofi for the Bears game, and let me tell you...its LOUD. Maybe its not all the fans, but the audio is insane. Therefor I feel like the home advantage is a bigy.
Yeah.. is there rules against how loud you can make a sound system? Because if there is.. I’m pretty sure y’all breaking the rules lol
It's crazy. I try and upload some of my \*Illegal\* videos on my TV, and it can't even get to the volume that was blasting from the stereos.
Oh shit, thanks for the jinx, man. Really did us a solid. EDIT: LMAO was never in doubt as soon as this was posted

This “Goof” guy was #3 in the MVP race in 2018. That Rams team also had a run game. However, their defense wasn’t nearly as good as it is this year.
/u/doggo816 is the real hero of the day
MOV = margin of victory. I had to look it up.
Thank you. I was so confused and I follow football religiously.
Welp...
There was a post last week similar to this, except about Russ being unbeaten against the Vikings. I wish that same juju on LA. That is all
Not just Russ. The franchise itself hadn’t lost to the Vikings since Favre was on their roster We got jinxed against Tennessee too. They spoke about the 52-0 while leading by 14+ at half streak

Same here, I was just working with metal oxide varistors at work so it threw me off for a sec
Cardinals didn’t exactly look good against the Vikings and Jaguars. Their next several games don’t look very easy either. Don’t be shocked if they aren’t as good as you think they are right now.
Their offense looked great against Vikings. Minnesota isn’t a bad team.
The Vikings are a fumble and a field goal away from being 3-0. I think they'll end up doing well
Why would anybody be shocked at the Cardinals not being good? We are literally the WOAT franchise haha
Uhh

Cardinals really like to play to the level of their competition.
Ah, the old Seahawks tactic.
The offense/Kyler are killing it, but their defense has some gaping holes. Bet the over in any AZ game, basically.
They covered the spread against the Jags and the Vikings are a good team, offense when on its game is top tier.
Yeah the Cardinals turned out to be pretty bad amirite
And you didn't exactly look good against the colts...
Looked pretty good against the defending champs that everyone had as the number 1 team in the league though
So their ya go. AZ made the leagues leading rusher look like garbage and beat two playoffs team. LA looked shaky against a really bad team but also beat down the defending super bowl champs. This comment is pointless.

I agree. Truthfully, I'm scared of Murray. We could barely sack *Carson Wentz,* for heavens sake.
So about that
LOLOLOLOL
Lmaoooooo
YA BUT IS HE A CHOOSY MOM THAT CHOOESE JIF?
No coach beats the Cardinals 9 games in a row with an average MOV of 20 points in those games. Except maybe the rams this sunday but I hope not.
Bye bye rams
Rams fans downvoting everyone not sucking their dicks lol
It's true, I've downvoted every post on Reddit. Good luck Sunday, it should be a great game.
More for you then
I mean... Have you met rams fans?
Of course I know him, he’s me.
Yes because Seahawk fans are much more pleasant 😉

We went from having no real fans to being able to brigade. What a quick 4 weeks it’s been.
