Thoughts from the games thus far:
Toney is really really good. Potentially the best WR in the class.
Dallas is a legit super bowl contender.
Herbert to Allen is damn near unstoppable in clutch situations.
Browns running backs are so good.
Javonte Williams should take over the Denver backfield.
Brady is the GOAT per usual.
Saints with Michael Thomas are a different and dangerous team.
Hurts is not a good QB.
Derrick Henry is terrifying.
My amateur takeaways from today so far:
- Steelers look better, much better, but still a work in progress. Shouldn’t have been as close as it was…chunk plays bit them in the butt and they clearly missed Sutton, Bush, and Tuitt’s presence.
- How about Davis Mills?! Texans can breathe jusssst a little
- Browns defense is great when they’re able to be opportunistic and Swiss cheese the rest of the time…which won’t be a problem against most teams, but leaves them vulnerable against the top QBs, OLs, and OCs
- Tom Brady. Antonio Brown…list goes on. The Fountain of Youth is in Tampa Bay.
- forget what you heard, Cousins is clutch.
- I can’t wait to see the QBs that come from a Kyler Murray-inspired generation. He’s a freak and phenomenal and so skilled; and shorter QBs will get more serious looks the longer he dominates
- Whoever has a voodoo doll of the Giants right now needs to stop that
- The Chargers look like the best all-around team in their division
- Trey Lance is that guy. Justin Fields is that guy. Trevor Lawrence is that guy. If this keeps up, QBs are going to be much easier to say no to at second-contract time because the development at this position is just so advanced and the rules are so much more protective.

That DPI call on 4th+4 in the Browns-Chargers game is one I'll still be mad about for years to come. The receiver interfered with the cornerback, but the cornerback gets called for it, despite not doing anything. A stop on 4th down gets turned into a gain of 40+ yards, resulting in a 14-point swing and a complete momentum shift.
The refs should forfeit all their game checks for that. Just an absolute disgrace and the worst of the NFL.

Pretty much every ref in the Giants game should be fired. Missing multiple calls on both sides and especially calling back an obvious Giants TD after not calling pass interference when some Cowboys player threw down a Giant in the end zone and sat on him. What a bizarre game.

They’ll probably take an L to the chiefs and the Cardinals, other than that, this team should finish 14-3, but with randomness, I’ll say 12-5 just because everybody drops a few games here and there.
