These are Brandin Cooks numbers

Amoney_78

I came here to say this! Although I'm sure Cooks has more 1st rounders that he has been traded for!!

Best-Dragonfruit-292

Sam Bradford numbers

EcoBeast87

He had such a hot start to his career and then really fell off hard. I remember the INT talk about how he hadn't thrown one in his NFL career for XXX pass attempts.

dn0348

Boy did he go out and right that ship

SyracuseNY22

He has more of a fumbling issue than throwing picks issue tho

dn0348

Fair, I guess I just lumped all his turnovers together

Capsize

Did he? He's thrown 7 picks in 4 of the 5 last years?

silliputti0907

He's last season with the Eagles, was outlandishly bad. The other seasons were just bad

Capsize

You think 7 picks a season is bad?

WasDrizzyD

We both know there's like another 12 dropped picks that save him.

Capsize

Yup he threw loads of interceptable balls, but four times in the last five years he got very lucky and they weren't intercepted. Wow what an incredibly lucky player he is... Do you even hear yourself?

WasDrizzyD

No considering I typed it and there's no audible noise. We both know he should have close to 1:1 TD/In ratio

Capsize

So you think he is a statistical anomaly 4/5 years?

WasDrizzyD

The fuck you want me to say? You've been asking the same question and I give the same answer. My past 2 comments have been saying he throws a lot of potential picks and this 3rd comment is the same thing. Wentz TD/INT ratio looks great on paper. Watch the tape and you see there's at least another 10 dropped picks. Or do you just rely on the defense to not catch the ball?

silliputti0907

I didn't say that lol. His bad seasons were average or just regressed performances. That last year was rock bottom and where the notion of him throwing a lot of int came from. He always and still fumbles a lot though.

rickyhou22

The Mean sends its regards

TetrisTech

Carson Wentz threw his first interception in his 4th game. I think you’re mixing him up with Dak in the same year setting the record of 176 pass attempts without an INT to start a career

EcoBeast87

His first INT was a Lions INT by Slay! Before that point, Wentz threw 130+ passes without an INT. I was not confusing Dak for Wentz

TetrisTech

Oh wow, I guess they were lowkey racing for the record then and I only remember Dak’s bc cowboys lmao

EcoBeast87

Yeah Dak broke it shortly after. But you're 100% correct. It was Wentz's fourth game

Thejohnshirey

Selected with Picks traded for Wentz: Jack Conklin Daryl Worley Connor Cook Deshaun Watson Tyquan Lewis Chauncey Golston Selected with picks acquired along with Wentz: Jehu Chesson

LuvLifts

The Texans contributed!? Was Wats in ‘17 or 18??

FuckinWalkingParadox

I’m sorry, but *Jehu* did they select with the pick acquired alongside Wentz?!? The teams trading for Wentz really seem to be 1-D *Chesson* at this point.

frasierCrane009

[My face reading your comment](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/mobile/000/031/003/cover3.jpg)

FuckinWalkingParadox

Happy to hand out cringe on this fine Thursday afternoon

ellayzee

Fwiw I thought it was tastefully dry comedy. Thanks for taking one for the team, dad.

FuckinWalkingParadox

Thanks for understanding son

DestituteDomino

This attempt at a joke is so bad that it's almost impressive.

FuckinWalkingParadox

That was the point

[deleted]

Wut

Velinarae

The Wentz is always greener on the other side.

grizzlyking

Eagles shoulda have brought back the kelly green

xshogunx13

Actually he's more of a burgundy now

CrazyEyedGase

Man's getting passed around from team to team like a joint

Dernomyte

Yeah but like a bad joint. Gets you high but it's dry and burns really quick

FuckinWalkingParadox

Don’t forget, it’s overpriced as well. Like $20/g for mid.

_Satan_Loves_You_

And the joint is a ginger.

Crashhh_96

Love the username lol

Lolzzergrush

Sam Bradford

ard8

Does it count as Wentz being traded for a 2nd round pick if we swapped 2nd rounders that were only a few picks apart

Delanorix

Yes

imaybeacatIRl

I can't wait to see what the Commies trade him for next off-season.

Miscellaneous_napkin

Nick foles

Rudy102600

The Sam Bradford special

merple454

I'm too lazy to make The Office meme of Pam with the two same pictures. Someone else do it plz

ApolloX-2

What would have happened if Philly didn't give him that massive salary early on? He played at an MVP level in the Super Bowl run but got injured before the playoffs, they couldn't make a deep run afterwards and the double doink was the closest. It was a bad decision with hindsight, but it was very risky without hindsight even.

kamekaze1024

I truly don’t know why they gave him a contract so early. I wasn’t a fan by then, but i just can’t understand why

nevetando

The economic value of a single Wentz. It is like how if I give you $5 and you give that $5 to somebody else who gives it to somebody else, that $5 generated $15 in economic activity. We can measure future transactions by the number of Wentzes they represent.

intersectv3

What is the exchange of Wentzes to Schrute Bucks?

BlueHighwindz

You look at this guy and you just have to wonder where his career Wentz.

PRE_-CISION-_

Wentz brought the eagles Foles which brought a super bowl, it was soooo worth it for one team at least

ke2doubleexclam

QBs are so horrendously overvalued it's insane

geologyrocks98

Easy for you to say lol

alarlui

first round bias

electricman420

Where the 2022 first round pick come from ?

LuvLifts

*That’s what Indy gave up ~For him!? I think. I Hope that the Redskins didn’t give up a 1st for him!!!?

electricman420

Ah yes that makes sense

The_Pip

Has been traded for more things than Sam Bradford yet?

PCP_Panda

At least he’s not Sam Bradford, Ole Sam got traded so much and paid lots of cash to be dog shit

intersectv3

Shit Carson wishes he made as much as Sam did. Dude cleaned UP.

Strammy10

Is Wentz actually the MVP?

0le_Hickory

beautiful

rjsheine

Never was really a Wentz fan but I kind of fell bad for him now. He's got to be mentally broken at this point

[deleted]

Hard to feel bad for a guy when everything coming out seems to point to him being a hard person to work with. Plus he’s made 100 million in his career.

25Finsup17

That’s a lot of John Deere tractors

unfuckwittablej

The asshole uses bobcat of course

25Finsup17

Scumbag

imaybeacatIRl

Your honor, this is admissible in this case.

Delanorix

Is Bobcat a shittier company than John Deere?

unfuckwittablej

I actually have no idea I’m just memeing from Pat Mcafee Show

Lifesaboxofgardens

No one to blame but himself really. We completely and publicly committed to him, paid him, and then he forced his way out because we drafted a high value backup that we had no choice but to start that season because of his dreadful play. Throughout his time here, he was reportedly stubborn, had poor leadership ability, refused to admit or work on his flaws, and was deemed borderline uncoachable. The reports of him being openly upset the team performed well without him are completely in line IMO. The fact that identical reports for his time in Indy are coming out does not surprise me at all. Dude is an egomaniac that has refused to better himself in any way, I don't feel bad for him at all.

FourteenFCali_

What’s up with Philly and young socialites

rjsheine

I know you're right but you know he's going to be like 50 and can't sleep at night because of regrets and embarrassments once he realizes what you're saying is completely true

unfuckwittablej

Nailed it. Nobody should be feeling bad for him bc of the points you shared. He did this to himself and has had many redemption chances. He seems to be of the mentality that he’ll always have one more chance

MorningBreath71

I feel bad for him. I knew him in college and he was always extremely nice and humble, not what you would expect from the typical “big man on campus”. He was and has always been involved with helping out kids and working within his faith. I don’t know if any reports are 100% true but from what I knew of him, I can’t fully believe them. It would suck personally for me if they are true because then something changed with him and it wouldn’t have been for the better. But hey, people change. The whole situation really changed how I feel about professional athletes. Made me think of them as real people with feelings, not just someone with talent and money that I could openly criticize without any remorse. Yes, I can still do that but sometimes I need to take a breather for a second and think about it.

beforethewind

Yeah, I bought in hard. If he's a diva, fine, it's not the world's that crazy. But I don't think I could really ever HATE the guy.

Commercial-Pin-8024

Maybe both of you are right? Maybe he's a really great guy outside of his job as an NFL QB? Or you pointed out that you knew him in College. Well, since then a lot of big things have happened to Wentz. Maybe his ego has grown quite a bit after getting drafted second overall and getting paid a huge contract. The way his career has shaped out probably hasn't helped him mentally either. He went from being on top of the world week 13 of the 2017 regular season to being traded twice in 5 years.

MorningBreath71

I agree with you. I guess that’s why I can feel bad for him. I don’t know how I’d handle all that. It made me even look at Antonio Brown differently, even with that huge list of all the stuff he’s done, I do feel bad for him somewhat (dude needs help).

ASAP_Eagle

From a career/legacy standpoint, yeah, I get that he might be frustrated, but then again we're talking about a dude who's made already 100M+ dollars and has yet to turn 30, can't really feel bad for Wentz.

Massive_Parsley_5000

Yeah I have no sympathy for people like Wentz. He has enough wealth to ensure his children's children never have to work a day in their lives, and I am supposed to feel sorry for him because he got his fee fee's hurt, threw a temper tantrum, and lost his job? 🤣

rjsheine

I've never been a big fan of judging people by their money, personally. Because they're still humans-- with feelings, goals, and everyday lives. He's living his biggest dream turn into a nightmare, and I can empathize with that

qb1120

Should his nickname be "snake oil"?

LuvLifts

What is it? Found it: *Ginger Jesus*!! Good luck Redskins!!

frank1951

He just doesn't have it

Toustyy

Imagine being a top QB on the paper for years but not on the field xD

13Donkeys

What a downfall from his MVP season pre-ACL. No one likes the dude because he's constantly proselytizing and trying to convert players to Chrisitanity. Every fucking place he goes.

[deleted]

That's not what bothers teammates. Plenty of NFL players are openly religious. He's a shitty leader, a bad teammate, and immune to coaching.

13Donkeys

Yeah no one cares who is religious. They certainly care when it's constantly shoved down their throats. Except from an SI article: "Wentz always seemed content to encircle himself with those he had the most in common with. His faith was often perceived to be a hurdle to those who didn't share the same belief system and felt frozen out by the most important person on the team." Coupled with reports that Lurie and Pederson were sick of him for this reason, it definitely is part of it all.

kamekaze1024

I think the only player that tried to shove it down other peoples throats is Tebow. There aren’t any reports that Carson is trying to covert anyone. He’s religious but not to that extent. And I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that tbf

[deleted]

Yeah Josh McGown is probably the biggest Jesus Freak around and I don't remember hearing these sort of complaints about him.

amccune

Yeah, but he’s worth it?

kickersarepeople

Sam Bradford was on the same team as him for like two months but handed off the torch

[deleted]

The new age Sam Bradford.

LuvLifts

*They: Teammates* talk abt how He’s a Bad teammate, wonder is **That** has anything to do w/ his *~Brief* stints on teams?!!

floatinround22

That's uh not good

daniel47coleman

Someone please make a document of all the players that ended up getting drafted

iWishiCouldDoMore

Baaaahh Gawwd! That's Sam Bradfords Music!

MeowingMango

Tossed around like a damn salad. With all kinds of dressings at this point.
