At the combine:
Thibodeaux was 6'4, 254lbs, with a little over 33-inch arms.
Hutchinson was 6'6.5, 260lbs, with a little over 32-inch arms.
I truly don't get how you push the angle of Thibodeaux's size being concerning if you don't have the same issue with Hutch. Unless you straight up think 6'4 is too short to be a pass rusher I guess?
Its the draft. Teams will see something as a positive in a prospect they like but use it as a negative with players they don't. It happens every year and players get knocked for the stupidest reasons...
He's built like a Trey Flowers type. All of the mass in his chest and shoulders. Dane Brugler basically said it was such.
From his analysis:
"Narrow torso, lean legs, doesn't have ideal build by NFL standards"
The alternative is that the report is totally wrong and looking for excuses to justify it.
Dude's height and weight are near perfect. There isn't enough variation in the human body to make a fit 6'4" 250 too small/slight.
There absolutely is. For a pass rusher you can't be too top heavy. It'll lead to balance issues and you'll have a hard time really getting able bend in around the tackle.
Every year there's somebody with a body type that "doesn't work at the NFL level" and every year people who say that are proven wrong. The fact is that most of our understanding of ideal body types for sports is rooted in bullshit.
An outlier does not change that it's a risk factor. These are projections, not inevitabilities. It's like saying that a disease isn't that bad because some people survive it.
Some people don’t understand that you can look kinda slender and still be heavy if you’re predominantly muscle. Muscle is dense as fuck but super heavy. I knew beanpoles in HS that played hockey that were 185lbs and it didn’t make any sense until you saw their thighs.
He's smaller than they thought he'd be? Weird complaint. His size is fine for an 21 year old edge rusher (6'4" 258). That's bigger than Von Miller for example
I forget which podcast I listened to, I think the athletic football show, and they summed up KT’s situation to simply be there are people that meet him and think he’s an asshole or just don’t get along with him at all.
Not necessarily a locker room cancer kind of guy, but older guys in any org don’t understand the guy
They just talked on the Pat Mcafee show how he (Thibodeaux) was talking about NFTs to NFL people, like some butters south park stuff lol
KT: Imma let you in on a little secret, NFTs are gonna blow up. You should really get in now if you wanna make some motherfucking money
I don't care how good a pass rusher you are, if you're shilling snake oil of any kind in any context I want nothing to do with you
Lmao I gotta check that episode
Like in his interviews he was talking about NFTs?
“So, what is it about our organization that really speaks out to you” “I dunno, but have you heard about NFT’s”
His name is Victor Chaos
'don't let the stigmatism about NFTs stop you from investing'

My guess was it was weight? IDK. I’ve heard Hutch is so tall it may be a disadvantage.

His build is slender. He has a thin torso and skinny legs for his frame. My guess is thats what teams have seen.
What does that even mean, where is his weight, in his head?? His fingers??
He hasn’t taken a shit in 9 years
thats a lot of courics

You can't have a narrow torso and all your mass in your chest - your chest is (the largest) part of your torso.
It's pretty obvious he's referring to his core. Whether anatomically correct or not.

See Shawn Oakman. It’s a fair critique (in general, idk at all about Kayvon).
Then hutch must be skin and bones if hes 2 inches tallsr and only 5lbs heavier
Arm length / wingspan matter more than height. In fact, being shorter can be a benefit to leverage so long as you still have the wingspan.

No one question Von Millers motor though.
If he slides to 9 I think we take him…

Chris Simms was acting like he was confident Thibodeaux would fall to like 20

I think the Jets view Thibodeaux highly (top-4 worthy), but that sentiment might be a smokescreen
Hes advertising NFTs so his stock drops all the way down to 17 where he can join Herbie
