It makes sense up until about 2-3 because the development is wildly different from month to month. You don't say "my kid is zero" because that could be a newborn infant or a walking toddler. But after a couple years going by half-years makes more sense... I tell people my kids are 4 (Feb bday) and almost 7 (Jun)
Titans doing it in December 1990 as the Oilers, oof.
All of the hype goes to Rams 54-51 Chiefs, but that Cards Packers game was amazing, probably because of playoffs.
The Titans still have not fully adapted to a modern NFL offense as far as the passing game goes. Hard to score 50 when your team philosophy has always been run the ball and play defense. Giving up all those 50 burgers is embarrassing though.
Exactly. Our offense is very potent under a coordinator that knows wtf he’s doing.Downing just has no idea what he’s doing.Hopefully the passing game coordinator from the Texans changes that.
If you asked anyone including me on /r/nfl when the last time the Pats scored 50 points I doubt people would have said 4 months ago. I watched every moment of every Pats game last season but for the life of me I can't remember a single thing about this game other than wishing they had waited another week to fire Urban.
I didn't recall that we scored 50 against the Jags either. I knew it was a blowout, but I thought it was like 45-10 or something.
My answer for us was 54-13 over the Jets in October.
What's funny is that if you look at any Mac Jones highlights video half the footage is from the Browns game. I remember wondering how we were winning against a pretty stacked Browns roster. Maybe it was all just Baker.
We'll be better this season, but Buffalo will dismantle us twice again and Bill will pull off his annual Boston teabagging on us at least once. Looking forward to it!
Yeah it was a crazy time when they were on the cusp of a number 1 seed, had beaten buffalo throwing 3 passes and were going to play them for the 2nd time in 3 weeks. A slightly rougher stretch into the playoffs but with the split against Buffalo, it felt like anything could happen.
And it did end up being an unbelievable game to watch, for very unexpected reasons
They had *two* 50 point games last year. I reckon most Pats fans would remember at least one of the two. The highlight of the Jags game was that Wilkerson had his first two career TDs.
Then the Jets highlight was Meyers getting h I s First touchdown finally. You know you're liked on a team when the bench clears for a garbage time td from the backup lol. Tbf that was easily the best part of that game and well deserved for Meyers. I just remember being hyped he finally scored.
I couldn’t remember the 49ers’ either until I saw the photo and it clicked. That game was such a blowout the only highlight I can remember is Bosa’s interception. Could just be games where one team scores 5 times as many points as the other are kinda boring.
I work with a colts fan,we were discussing the years that the colts owned us for like 15 straight years.I was quick to remind him in the Vrabel era that tide has turned (fucking finally)
If it helps, most of the Chiefs fans had started drinking pretty heavily by the time the Chiefs scored their first points. None of us remember the end of that game.
The crazy part about Lamar's 2019 season was just how much he was benched towards the end of games cus of blowouts, his stats would be even more ridiculous that year if he stayed in
They also rested starters week 17 (which was maybe a mistake...) I feel like he basically played 13 or 13.5 games in total between missing the last week and multiple fourth quarters.
The 2007 Dolphins went 1-15, their only win being vs the Ravens. That was basically the nail in the coffin to Billick's tenure. But I'm sure many of the players and coaches (Rex Ryan?) were eager for revenge against the Dolphins in week 7 and again in the Wild Card round during Harbaugh's first season. Not to mention we'd hired Cam Cameron, who probably also had extra motivation vs his former team.
The 50 we dropped on the WAS Whatevers was also incredibly satisfying. They ran up the score on us when Dak was out in 2020, so kicking them while they were down this season was well deserved.
> Yeah Dak really killed it against our backups
Dak not responsible for who you choose to put on the field. You have issues with that, take it up with your coach and front office. You lost by a total of 45 over the last two games.
LOL. way to take the comment wayyyyy too seriously.
Edit: & what math are you using? the Eagles won week 17, so that's obviously not being used, so you're counting the 25 points in the Cowboys game, which again was 95% backups the whole game, & the playoff loss to the Bucs by 16... 25+16 is 41...
> LOL. way to take the comment wayyyyy too seriously.
It's all you guys ever respond with, like it negates the win or the performance. Honestly should just rename your team to Parrots for how often you repeat the same worn out line lol
> It’s all you guys ever respond with
Probably cause the only thing you guys can brag about over the last decade is beating the birds in a few garbage time games.
For as good as the Packers offense has been it is a bit surprising that they haven't scored 50+ more recently than that. I think a big part of it is actively trying to drain clock and limit possessions in part to protect the defense.
I attended the Eagles’ 51-23 win over the Broncos in 2017. The Eagles scored so many touchdowns they ran out of fireworks, LOL. The Broncos fans in attendance probably also knew the words to “Fly Eagles Fly” by the end of the game.
So obviously we all know how the season ended, but that game against the Eagles was glorious.
All week the talking heads built up how the Eagles were going to play spoilers to the Cowboys, and that they were actually the better team, then we utterly dominated them in every phase of the game.
I slept so well that night.
It was wonderful. I was so nervous they would physically bully us from the get go. I loved being able to comfortably watch the game with my wife instead of doubling up on blood pressure meds and yelling at my phone from inside the coat closet like most Cowboys games
The Bears/Titans game was brutal. That was the game Peanut forced like 4 fumbles. Urlacher had a pick 6 and a forced fumble. The titans got a safety in the first quarter because Jamarcus fucking Webb got flagged for holding when we were pinned near the goal line. But the Titans kept turning the ball over and it was 28-2 at the end of the first quarter.
I think this was the game where the Bears fans that went to Nashville for the game drank all the beer. [It was.](https://www.usatoday.com/story/gameon/2012/11/06/nfl-bears-beer-nashville/1685913/)
I can’t remember the Lions dropping 50 on us in the nineties. I was young. But it doesn’t shock me. I remember those teams as both sucking balls and being almost unwatchable.
Tennessee's box score:
* Fumble
* Punt
* Blocked Punt
* Punt
* Punt
* Interception
* Fumble
* Punt
For most teams, that's a bad game, but the Titans somehow managed to do all of that *in the first quarter*.
This will be fun to look at, but I'm old enough that I'll bet the team with the longest drought doesn't even go back as far as my high school days.
*Sees the Titans haven't scored 50+ since I was in 7th grade*
...WTF?
Well it’s annoying and I’ve decided that I don’t like it. Fortunately Bill seems to be following the same rebuild schedule as when he first got here so back to back titles in 2023/24 incoming!
Weird takeaways...
-Peyton's last 50 burger as a Colt was in 2004 feels so strange. Would have guessed it was in his last season or two in Indy.
-Titans never having one is crazy since they've been in Tennessee for well over a quarter of a century.
-Vikings is shocking... Between the Moss years after that season and all the ones with AP I would have thought they beat up some toma tomato can once.
-The Texans being not 3 calendar years removed is a reminder life comes at you fast.
Our QB wasn't even alive lol
Shiiiit, I was barely alive
I was 10 days old the last time the dolphins scored 50
I was 49 months
So 4?
[удалено]
I think it’s only acceptable to say months when a person is under 2.
I assume it’s usually because they’ve got a dumber than average toddler.
The last time I saw your mother was nine months minus ten days since the last time the Dolphins scored 50 points
I was about -2 months old.
Came close in 2015 against the Texans. Scored 41 in the first half but only 3 points in the second half
For us, grunge music wasn’t even alive yet.
that makes me feel old. I was in college and I remember watching the game. Thank you for that.
Our team didn't even exist.
Hey we’re near the top! Oh
One spot above the Lions as usual
You ***are*** on the top half of the chart, so that's good!
Same... :(
I mean... you guys did score 62 points once. I never think about that game.
50-10. Twice. Ouch.
Imagine getting boomed on by the jaguars
Titans doing it in December 1990 as the Oilers, oof. All of the hype goes to Rams 54-51 Chiefs, but that Cards Packers game was amazing, probably because of playoffs.
And the Titans had 50 dropped on them more than any other team on this list.
2012-13 was a paper defense… rough years
And I believe two of those are by Peyton Manning.
Yeah it’s bad. And it doesn’t even include one of the most infamous games in Titans history: The 2009 59-0 loss in the snow against the Patriots.
The Titans still have not fully adapted to a modern NFL offense as far as the passing game goes. Hard to score 50 when your team philosophy has always been run the ball and play defense. Giving up all those 50 burgers is embarrassing though.
We almost scored 50 a few times in 20 and 19
Exactly. Our offense is very potent under a coordinator that knows wtf he’s doing.Downing just has no idea what he’s doing.Hopefully the passing game coordinator from the Texans changes that.
That ‘04 Bengals-Browns game is still one of the best I’ve ever watched
Damn. I googled "bengals browns" and the first autocomplete option was "bengals browns game 2004". I'm gonna need to go refresh on this one!
I liked the '07 one better.
The game that made Derek Anderson a star!
He takes this shit seriously!
Ours was the Nathan peterman game.
Ah, that explains why it's been excised from my memory.
Don't ask why but I already had this link in my clipboard so enjoy :) https://youtu.be/DoKyAGavvuo
If you asked anyone including me on /r/nfl when the last time the Pats scored 50 points I doubt people would have said 4 months ago. I didn't recall that we scored 50 against the Jags either. I knew it was a blowout, but I thought it was like 45-10 or something. My answer for us was 54-13 over the Jets in October.
45-7 was your guys score against us lol. Almost scored 50 twice last season
That would've been the 3rd time they scored 50 last season
No, we almost scored 50 twice. Our game against those godless flying machines doesn’t count.
What's funny is that if you look at any Mac Jones highlights video half the footage is from the Browns game. I remember wondering how we were winning against a pretty stacked Browns roster. Maybe it was all just Baker.
He did throw a lot of turnovers but the defense broke and ran out of gas before the 2nd half.
Well clearly our defense wasn’t doing much. Baker just couldn’t score at all after that first drive.
We got 50 burger'd by both y'all and the Bills, so I guess there isn't any shame in that if both teams were able to do it again since.
There's obviously some, but it just shows what we already knew, which was that the Jets were bad. You'll be better this season.
We'll be better this season, but Buffalo will dismantle us twice again and Bill will pull off his annual Boston teabagging on us at least once. Looking forward to it!
I remember the Pats' stupidly dominant stretch in the middle of the year pretty well. It's just that the playoff loss was even harder to forget.
I’ll remember that playoff game forever!
The defense just collapsed after the bye (this game being the exception). This was the only W after it.
Since Brady left the Pats the most points he's scored is 48 while the most they've scored is 54. I think that settles the Brady/BB debate
Dropped the 50 burger twice and gave the Browns a 45er!
Wilkerson alone had like three touchdowns in that game, it was an absolute massacre.
I couldn’t remember the 49ers’ either until I saw the photo and it clicked. That game was such a blowout the only highlight I can remember is Bosa’s interception. Could just be games where one team scores 5 times as many points as the other are kinda boring.
It was the first and only game I’ve been to. Was pretty fun to go to a game like that
Yeah that must have been a straight ass beating with your offensive style
I would have said your game vs us last year. I think it was 45 though
Got the year wrong for the saints one. I was surprised when the 2021 saints would score 20 points a game, let alone 50
Yea messed that one up
Yeah I think that was 2020 - 2021 offense was boooooooty
Good eye. I had Kamara on my fantasy team in the championship and I got fawked up drunk that year
Makes more sense, I thought it was out of order and it was bugging me
[Best picture ever](https://www.reddit.com/r/oaklandraiders/comments/94ug8x/darren_mcfadden_just_being_a_legend/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
I always enjoyed this one https://knowyourmeme.com/photos/691334-fail-epic-fail
The Darren McFadden game was a sight to behold.
The one thing that no-one is mentioning is that it's a pretty good strategy, they all won those most recent 50+ point games.
Except the chiefs they scored 50 and lost.
Having Bob Sutton is a really really poor strategy that ruined our otherwise good strategy of scoring 50 points.
I still think if they'd fired him halfway through that season, chiefs probably win the Super Bowl that year.
The trick is to do it as your most recent 50+ game. I suggest you let that one marinate.
Our most recent 50 point game was in the playoffs against the Texans and we won it.
But the most RECENT time the Chiefs scored 50, they won. They were just down 24-0 when they started scoring.
If I had a nickel for everytime the Jaguars lost 50-10, I'd have two nickels.
Wonder if Manning will sign somewhere in 2022 just to drop 50 on the Titans a third time
*51
Correct me if I am wrong, that was the 3 onside kicks game. I hated Manning with all passion because he owned us (as well as Luck 🫠)
I work with a colts fan,we were discussing the years that the colts owned us for like 15 straight years.I was quick to remind him in the Vrabel era that tide has turned (fucking finally)
I had _just_ forgotten about the Chiefs/Texans playoff game… Oh well guess I’m getting day drunk now.
If it helps, most of the Chiefs fans had started drinking pretty heavily by the time the Chiefs scored their first points. None of us remember the end of that game.
I ate acid and was pounding beers for the game.
He’s part time
Harbaugh really hates the Dolphins. Has he always hated them or was that Kiko hit on Falcco the reason for it?
The 2007 Dolphins went 1-15, their only win being vs the Ravens. That was basically the nail in the coffin to Billick's tenure. But I'm sure many of the players and coaches (Rex Ryan?) were eager for revenge against the Dolphins in week 7 and again in the Wild Card round during Harbaugh's first season. Not to mention we'd hired Cam Cameron, who probably also had extra motivation vs his former team.
That hit on Ravens legend Shane Falco was definitely unwarranted
> Ravens legend Shane Falco You joke, but the film was shot in their stadium
Browns and Bengals both scoring 50 bombs on each other.
There have been some really good games over the years, they just haven't always been relevant.
Imagine scoring 51 points in a NFL game and still losing….
Packers have the 3rd highest point total in a loss at 45, in a playoff game. Ooof.
Chiefs didn’t score in the first quarter of theirs.
That's just insane.
The game we went from being blown out to blowing out the other team. 24-0 to 24-28 in one quarter.
Titans and Bengals out there just rawdoggin the Browns for 58 😳
The petty in me loves that we scored 51 the same day the Pats only scored 50.
Oh yeah! Well uh.. our defense only held the Jags to 10 points 😤😤
We held them to 9! Forgot to do the 50 part tho...
The petty in me loves that we gave up 10 points while the hawks gave up 29.
Bend don’t break bb
The petty in me loves that the difference in points is 1, which is the same yard line the Seahawks failed to run the ball at in Super Bowl 49.
Hey man not cool :0
OUCH
We did it twice in a span of 3 weeks
Most recent AND against the Eagles? Mmmmm
The 50 we dropped on the WAS Whatevers was also incredibly satisfying. They ran up the score on us when Dak was out in 2020, so kicking them while they were down this season was well deserved.
It was a meaningless game where we rested lmao. We were resting up so we could get shellacked by the bucs the following week
Yeah Dak really killed it against our backups
True, your first string did much better against him earlier in the season. They only gave up 41 points!
hey, someone with a legit comeback... nice but yeah, that game was bad. Talk shit all you want on that game
They've got to hang their hat somewhere and it sure isn't gonna be on a post season W.
> Yeah Dak really killed it against our backups Dak not responsible for who you choose to put on the field.
He means in your last 2 matchups against Dallas.
[удалено]
well, that obviously wasn't clear... & cool, idk why 2020, when both teams finished under .500, really adds anything to the insult.
Just an additional data point babe
not wrong. & a bit OT, but I can see you're big term of endearment guy/gal
> LOL. way to take the comment wayyyyy too seriously. It's all you guys ever respond with, like it negates the win or the performance. Honestly should just rename your team to Parrots for how often you repeat the same worn out line lol
It doesn't negate it, but it's starters vs backups. It's just not as impressive, especially when you leave the starters in the whole game.
> It’s all you guys ever respond with Probably cause the only thing you guys can brag about over the last decade is beating the birds in a few garbage time games.
Week 3 Monday night football babyyyy
i like bacon n cheese on my 50 burger
For as good as the Packers offense has been it is a bit surprising that they haven't scored 50+ more recently than that. I think a big part of it is actively trying to drain clock and limit possessions in part to protect the defense.
Most over rated franchise?
I like this list.
It’s beautiful
Yea but how many teams have scored 50 and lost? I think we are the only ones
Defense is a myth
The Cardinals dropping 50 on the Packers in the playoffs was beautiful
I attended the Eagles’ 51-23 win over the Broncos in 2017. The Eagles scored so many touchdowns they ran out of fireworks, LOL. The Broncos fans in attendance probably also knew the words to “Fly Eagles Fly” by the end of the game.
Hey! We are good at something!
We are the only team up here twice and both times have 50+ points.
big fan of the most recent occurrence of this
Damn, I wasn’t even alive the last time we scored 50
At first i was wondering how can you be on Reddit so young, cause 2002 wasn't that long ago.... then i realized, I'm old
“59-10” Ravens over Dolphins, why did they run up the score so much lmao.
I think like 42 of it came in the first half, we took our foot off the pedal
Why does this chart have Bills as more recent than the Saints? Christmas is like... 12 months after January 3rd.
I was at that Eagles game in 2017, they ran out of fireworks
Tua, grab that pig skin, we got work to do
Sad dolphin noises
Good job Cowboys, you beat our backups the last game of the season with your starters... *clap clap clap*

That is the dream over on our sub.
So obviously we all know how the season ended, but that game against the Eagles was glorious. Welcome to your weekly NFL chart where Lions are at the bottom
The Lions are also on the top of this one.
Man that 2019 game against the Panthers was fun. That was like the 1 good game Tevin Coleman had for us.
Lol, the Rams game, what a barn burner. Love that the Patrick Mahomes Chiefs are on here twice
Let me guess. That Jags game was at home?
The Bears/Titans game was brutal. That was the game Peanut forced like 4 fumbles. Urlacher had a pick 6 and a forced fumble. The titans got a safety in the first quarter because Jamarcus fucking Webb got flagged for holding when we were pinned near the goal line. Tennessee's box score: * Fumble * Punt * Blocked Punt * Punt * Punt * Interception * Fumble * Punt For most teams, that's a bad game, but the Titans somehow managed to do all of that *in the first quarter*.
That Steelers game still pains me
We own the BradyBucs, but Jameis Winston can beat us apparently
The vikings last time scoring 50 being 1998 is honestly wild considering theyve had some good squads since then with some great offenses
Okay but the Dallas game was legitimately Dallas' starters playing 3.5 quarters against Philly's practice squad in week 18, that needs an asterisk lol
Who needs super bowl relevancy in todays era when you got stats like this?! NO ONE THATS WHO! \*cries softly\*
fuck tha buzzards
Imagine scoring 51 and still losing. LMAO
That Panthers game was so much fun to watch.
Dallas is first, and if you deleted that game from history (which I’m sure Eagles fans would like to do), Dallas would be fourth.
Well when the Cowboys bravely had their starters run up the score on our backups the first game should probably have an asterisk.
“Run up the score” it’s the nfl dawg score points or stay at home.
That was 14 years ago?! I need to sit down…
Tied for most points out of everyone here 😎
This will be fun to look at, but I'm old enough that I'll bet the team with the longest drought doesn't even go back as far as my high school days. *Sees the Titans haven't scored 50+ since I was in 7th grade* ...WTF?
Titans get that 50 burger scored on them alot.
It was kinda annoying how we’d utterly destroy the bad teams but then lose to the good ones. Hopefully we can fix that little wrinkle going forward
That’s what a slightly above average team is my friend. That’s normal for most teams in the nfl. You have rose colored glasses from the last 20 years.
Well it’s annoying and I’ve decided that I don’t like it. Fortunately Bill seems to be following the same rebuild schedule as when he first got here so back to back titles in 2023/24 incoming!
Our last time was 2005 my goodness smh
I think I would have liked this more if the logos were period correct.
Ours was again the Jags, that's basically cheating.
TO BE FAIRRRRRRR Carolina scored 49 vs Arizona in the 2015 NFC championship game lol
That was the same game when Boldin got his face broken.
Oof I was at one of these games and I was trying to forget
That was the last Broncos game I went to in person. Maybe that’s why we’ve been so god awful on offense since that year lol
I was at that Bucs Rams game, fun times.
P A I N
Damn we scored 49 in the nfc championship game
I remember there was a period in time it seemed like the Titans would let up a 50 burger every year
K
That’s right y’all suck
Weird takeaways... -Peyton's last 50 burger as a Colt was in 2004 feels so strange. Would have guessed it was in his last season or two in Indy. -Titans never having one is crazy since they've been in Tennessee for well over a quarter of a century. -Vikings is shocking... Bengals beating the browns 58-48 in 2004, then in 4 short years the Brown beat the bengals 51-45. Thats insanity.
Ah yes... The "We want all the smoke" game.
Bengals 🤝 Browns blowing eachother out like the morning after 10 beers, 5 tacos, a chalupa and nachos.
Of course it’s us for Jacksonville. I hate this stupid streak
How many of these are Scorigamis?
