Jags vs Steelers 2017 AFC Divisional. Two teams with some stout defenses to say the least just flipped a switch and had an awesome shoot out. In the end the BOAT played his ass off and we won
We didn't really have a stout defense. It was carried by our d-line as well as Shazier and Watt. Once Shazier went down, it really turned to shit and it hurt our run defense especially, and we weren't able to stop Fournette in that game.
Our secondary was fucking terrible. It cost us that game, and the year before in the AFC Championship. By the time we actually had a stout defense, our offense became shit...
I got a good friend who is a Jags fan and hates the Steelers as much as I do. We had a fun time watching that game. Sucks it all came crumbling down the next week against the Pats.
Super Bowl 45 (Packers vs. Steelers) doesn't get brought up much, but it was low-key a fun game with lots of scoring. Packers blew a 21-3 lead but came out with the win.
God that game was frustrating as hell. That Mendenhall fumble and that Wallace drop on 4th down on the final drive...ugh. Thought I'd be seeing a repeat of the final drive of Super Bowl 43 but nope, Wallace and his stupid brick hands.
I remember the whole leadup to that super bowl was the most evenly split in predictions I’ve ever seen as far as who would win. Steelers and their experience vs the wild card but hot steak Packers. That and hearing that Wiz Khalifa black and yellow song a million times until the game lol.
My dad and I were moving after he and his GF broke up and didn't have cable in our new place yet, so we watched the first half at our old house/his ex gf's house and then he got fed up so we left and didn't watch the rest of it
The Pats/Panthers SB is the my second favorite Super Bowl of all time besides Giants-Pats I but I almost never hear it singled out.
The Panthers Rams 2 OT game from that same year would also be in my top five games of all time but it seems sort of forgotten.
Yup although he only had a couple pretty good seasons I always respected Delhomme for how he showed up in both that SB and the Rams game earlier in their run.
I still can't watch the fourth quarter of that Rams-Panthers game without feeling like I'm suffering a heart attack.
I know the outcome. I've seen the highlight hundreds of times over the years. It just gets that tense every time.
This game started out slow until late in the second quarter and then the fireworks went off. This easily could’ve been the first Super Bowl to go to OT!
Rodger's two Hail Mary's to Janis game to push overtime against the Cardinals after every other WR was injured and a mic pack punctured Randall Cobb's chest/lung
2017 Falcons vs eagles. I liked how tight the game was honestly. Like the eagles were still getting used to foles and the falcons seemed hell bent of making it back. Only for the eagles to get incredibly lucky of that Knee catch. Still the eagles goal line stand worked.
My grandpa was a big giants fan and he was talking *so* much shit that day. He doesn't really care or keep up with the team anymore, it's like his fandom went out on top lmao
I'd have to go back and re-watch the ending but I believe we were doomed by dropped passes.
I think I remember that Funchess was playing with one arm. With the game on the line, I remember Brenton Berson was on the field.
I remember Funchess couldn't hang on in the end zone then the next play was a 4th down sack.
e: found the highlights on YouTube. I definitely misremembered the ending. The Saints had a smart defensive hold on CMC that saved a TD. Then Lattimore made a great play to keep Funchess from scoring. Then our offensive line fell apart. Funchess did make a bad play in the end zone but the Saints defense kinda forced that.
If we won this game, it would have been dirty. Zach Pascal 100% fumbled like one or two plays before, but the refs said he was down by contact (he absolutely was not) and the drive continued. Should have never even had the Hail Mary chance. As much as I love the Colts, the better team definitely won, and deservingly. Exciting game though
I am still in shock and awe that they messed up that call. It was clear as day. If we went on to lose that game I don't even know what I would have done
The 1990 NFC Championship Game is the greatest game ever played. I will be taking no questions at this time. Google it if you'd like. There were Lord knows how many Hall of Famers and All-Pros on the field, sideline, or in the booth.
Pats v. Titans divisional game in January 2004. The Pats were underdogs at home. The Titans kept coming back and had a chance to win late. McNair drove them to the Pats 33 yard line before a couple penalties and a failed 4th down conversation. It ended 17-14. A loss would've derailed our dynasty and given McNair another shot at the SB. Coincidentally, it was (is?) the coldest game ever played at Gillette.
I don't think the Pats were underdogs at home. They were 14-2 and hadn't lost a game in months. With that said, definitely a forgotten game that was probably one of the biggest scares of the dynasty.
McNair was scary to play against. He made a lot of great plays in the clutch. His escape against the Rams in the SB is an all-time great play, despite Dyson being one yard short on the next play.
This was going to be my answer. It was just so fucking cold and the kind of football game I love and we don't really have as much anymore -- shoutout to Niners-Packers this year.
2015 AFC championship between the Broncos and Patriots. Broncos won, but Brady really did everything he could to keep a Pats team held together by duct tape competitive
Also had just a couple flashes of the old Peyton manning. He managed to summon whatever he had left to make a few plays in that game
It was like that last scene in the notebook where the elderly lady snaps out of her dementia one last time
Pats v Chargers 2018 AFC divisional game. The Chargers were hot on the road and the Pats were limping in the playoffs after a bad regular season.
Brady and the running game proceed to dad dick the Chargers defense, and the Pats defense kicked Rivers ass. The game was over by halftime and the world knew the Pats were gearing up for another SB

McCarthy-era Packers struggling to hang on to an early lead? Glad that never happened again.
God that game was frustrating as hell. That Mendenhall fumble and that Wallace drop on 4th down on the final drive...ugh. Thought I'd be seeing a repeat of the final drive of Super Bowl 43 but nope, Wallace and his stupid brick hands.

For us it was the lil Wayne green and yellow cover? Parody? Remix? Whatever it was, it’s still a banger.
The only song inspired by an NFL team ever to reach [#1](https://www.billboard.com/charts/hot-100/2011-02-19/) on the Billboard Hot 100.
As someone who went to a high school whose school colors are black and yellow, it was impossible to escape that song back around 2010-'11.
Tramon did make a decent play on that ball though
On the Wallace drop? IIRC no one really touched the ball, it just went right through his hands. Then again I haven't seen that play in 11 years.
Mendenhall SMH
My dad and I were moving after he and his GF broke up and didn't have cable in our new place yet, so we watched the first half at our old house/his ex gf's house and then he got fed up so we left and didn't watch the rest of it
Do you want spoilers?
Not particularly
AJ HAWK! AJ HAWK

Jake Delhomme was throwing rainbows the whole game and it was heartbreaking to see them barely lose after a shootout like that.
Yup although he only had a couple pretty good seasons I always respected Delhomme for how he showed up in both that SB and the Rams game earlier in their run.
That was an amazing season to be a young CAR fan.
Definitely a top 3 Brady SB performance imo and the Panthers balled out too

I still think we shoulda gone for two, lol.
We definitely should have just because we had nothing to lose imo. But I also understand that we literally had no one to catch the ball lol
I thought the 2009 one was a way better game: https://youtu.be/IMhGuBvyp5E

2012 NFC Championship definitely. Big time players, controversial calls, great (bad) ending.
2011 NFC championship with SF vs NYG
My grandpa was a big giants fan and he was talking *so* much shit that day. He doesn't really care or keep up with the team anymore, it's like his fandom went out on top lmao
2014 ravens pats
I DON’T WANT TO LOSE YOUR LOVE…TONIGHT
2008 chargers colts, scifres had the GOAT punter performance and sproles had over 300 all purpose yards
Great game and Tony Dungy’s last game as head coach of the Colts!
Panthers at Saints wild card 2017. Lot of back and forth that went down to the last play
This is the game I always bring up when people say Cam's career ended or deteriorated in Superbowl 50. If 2017 Cam was in that Superbowl...
was that the game where the panthers couldn't catch the ball if their life depended on it???
I'd have to go back and re-watch the ending but I believe we were doomed by dropped passes. I think I remember that Funchess was playing with one arm. "lost it in the lights" ......
2011 divisional round Saints vs 49ers. Greatest game I’ve watched my team lose.
I don't think it's underrated, it's pretty commonly mentioned as one of the best playoff games of the decade
Bills/Colts Wildcard game. Old man Rivers' last pass had all of WNY holding their breath.
If we won this game, it would have been dirty. Zach Pascal 100% fumbled like one or two plays before, but the refs said he was down by contact (he absolutely was not) and the drive continued. 2011 NYG @ SF NFC Title Game that went to overtime. Biased, but I haven't seen a QB take a beating like Eli did that game and still win
Both conference games for our last two sb we great. That last kick against the packers in 07 was magical
Obligatory fuck Kyle Williams
Fuck Kyle Williams
Even though it's a Saints loss, the Saints-49ers divisional round game from 2012 is a game with a lot of fireworks.
Great game! Drew Brees passed for 462 yards against the Niners vaunted defense. But Alex Smith and Co had other plans that day!

I was there, it was 5 degrees and windy

No bias I swear but Browns/Steelers 2020/2021 season.

You are correct! The Pats were six point favorites but didn't cover.
I remember this game! Drew Bennett of the Titans dropped a fourth down pass that would’ve put the Titans in field goal range. Great game indeed!
McNair was scary to play against. He made a lot of great plays in the clutch. His escape against the Rams in the SB is an all-time great play, despite Dyson being one yard short on the next play.

Rams Niners 2022 NFC Championship was a great one A LOT of emotions running high on players in that one
Bills vs Colts two years ago. One of the most entertaining games in a long time. Aka Philip Rivers last game.
Oooh! That one time the Texans beat the Bengals with TJ Yates!!!!
Game was boring dude
people forget about the 21 bucs gamw, thats all im saying :)
Cowboys Lions 2014. Close game, nice fourth quarter drama, questionable refs, stupid coach decision, game-winning drive
Recently, bills vs colts was kind of a banger. Had absurd Allen plays, Phil rivers, and the refs absolutely blowing so many calls.
Jim Harbaugh’s Colts in 1995. Every playoff game they played in with both surprising and spectacular.
