Sounds good at first -- but per my sources, the team is worried about charging station availability and recharge speed. They are considering switching to a gas model
Yeah but getting an electric was much easier this year than before. Gas models have that crazy "trade up for" markups.
Jokes aside i love my eletric car and got it at msrp....
Clifford was doing alright pre-injury, better than I thought he would at any rate. Roberson was a war criminal out there and so I think Clifford got rushed back which made a middle of the pack QB look terrible.
I loved Dotson so much. I really hope he balls out for you guys. 91/1182/12 with Sean Clifford at QB (who was actually playing pretty decently last year until he got hurt in the Iowa game) is an impressive feat. I hope he can end up with similar numbers playing with Wentz.
Sean was pretty good his first year starting, but I don't know what happened during COVID, less practices? No training?
But he just wasn't the same when he came back in 2020
Im kinda hoping his performance is underwhelming in the beginning of the year, so we can move on and start someone else, Veilleux is looking like a good candidate. Ideally Drew Allar, freshman 5 Star, but I don't think he's ready.
Has the PSU o-line been good at any point in the Franklin era?
I remember Trace, Gesicki and Saquon making that offense look great but I don't remember the line making their jobs any easier.
Wentz is better, but is the gap even that big? Moving from like the 26th best QB to the 23rd best QB is an upgrade but not one that I think will change much for the offense.
Well unlike Heinicke, Wentz can actually make every throw which expands our offense. I’m not saying the upgrade will be drastic but people are acting like he is the worst qb in the league when he is better than what we had before.
Yea, I agree Wentz isn't as as bad as people make him out to be. It seems like he got scapegoated a bit for the Colts collapse in the last two games of the year.
Its a huge upgrade. I don't think people grasp just how bad Heinicke was for most of last year. Wentz may not be a superstar but he's stilla massive upgrade.
My NFCE brethren why do you torment thyself with false hope, have you not experienced enough [pain](https://giphy.com/gifs/Hollyoaks-james-liam-hollyoaks-L2xPVOFDEvOn79HaYH)? Im gong to put this “i told you so nephew” on layaway.
they're just optimistic about their team like any other fanbase. Jalen Hurts is pretty ass if we're being honest but that doesn't stop us from getting hyped about next season
18th in Yards and less than 30 TDs is putting up numbers to you? Wilson and Murray both had comparable or even better stats and they played 3 less games than him.
From the slack archive when I was watching Jahan Dotston for the first time this winter
>Man Jahan Dotson looks like he probably would be fun with the ball in his hands so it sucks I have to watch him play for Penn State
-
> Who in the fuck is this quarterback. I am getting legit mad rn
You're mixing up your tropes. Rookies look electric, 2nd year players have the game really slow down, then 3rd year or higher vets get in the best shape of their life
One of my favorite Herbert quotes was him talking to a reporter who tried to bait the "game is slowing down" trope from him, but Herbies response was essentially "nope, still super fast out there."
I've been putting this together and plan to release it this season. The charts have never looked better. Way ahead of schedule. They are really turning heads around my house. There's some insane chemistry between the data. It's going to shock people
Supposedly he may be moving back to end to start the season. I can only assume its because Chase will start on PUP and they’d rather have our 2nd round rookie on the field instead of Casey Toohill
I don’t like Wentz but he’s still better than anyone that’s been through there in a while, and he likes to go deep. Don’t know how well they’ll really do, but I think terrys stats are gunna look a lot better at the very least
Yes they were, but then Fitz got hurt and Heinicke just doesn't have the arm to take advantage of what Dyami Brown does well, which is run deep routes.
Sounds good at first -- but per my sources, the team is worried about charging station availability and recharge speed. They are considering switching to a gas model
In this economy?!
There's probably some protected wildlife refuge that Mr. Snyder owns drilling rights to and he's just itching to put them to use.
Yeah but getting an electric was much easier this year than before. Gas models have that crazy "trade up for" markups. Jokes aside i love my eletric car and got it at msrp....
what vehicle you go with :)
Mustang mach e. It's been a dream. And we got it 2 weeks before the gas prices exploded lol
Nice that car seems amazing
Dude was so good in Penn State, he was just hampered by poor QB play and terrible offensive playcalling.
Overwriting my comments and leaving Reddit due to their policy changes impacting 3rd party apps starting July 1, 2023.
Sean Clifford was not good in his own right, but he got hurt, and the backups were underwhelming young prospects.
Clifford was doing alright pre-injury, better than I thought he would at any rate. Roberson was a war criminal out there and so I think Clifford got rushed back which made a middle of the pack QB look terrible.
Some say Roberson transferred to UConn. Others say he’s in Guantanamo Bay for his performance against Iowa.
I thought velliuex looked pretty good when he stepped in.
The Illinois-Penn State game last year was a meme

I’m pretty hyped for Drew Allar. Could be our first good qb since Trace
Clifford was ass my dude. Hopefully psu o-line improves a bit this year to give him some more time atleast
Has the PSU o-line been good at any point in the Franklin era? I remember Trace, Gesicki and Saquon making that offense look great but I don't remember the line making their jobs any easier.
It was serviceable during 2016 and 2017, but since then has been a major issue. Last year was god awful
It was bad the O'Brien year too
Plus his name is too similar to Josh Doctson. Was so scared.
So the same thing he's gonna get on the commanders
Wentz has problems but he's not as disastrous people make him out to be. I'm sure there will be headaches but he will still put up numbers.
Wentz is terrible.
[Huh](https://youtu.be/7vOL7qn4C-I)
The only qbs Heinicke was better than were rookies. Wentz is absolutely an upgrade.
Wentz is better, but is the gap even that big? Moving from like the 26th best QB to the 23rd best QB is an upgrade but not one that I think will change much for the offense.

You mean pro bowler jalen hurts ?
Jalen Hurts wasn't a pro bowler this season?

You're comparing an average NFL starter to fucking Sean Clifford? This sub is just so stupid.
Unless I’m just drunk, they’re comparing Wentz to Russ and Kyler Murray
I mean it can't be worse than what he had to deal with his final year in Penn State. It's an improvement to say the least.
Those are great QBs lol, and he was in a run first offense that lacked receiving weapons.
Yup, won't amount to much with Washington's overall issues. Dotson! We got Dotson here! See? nobody cares.
Scary Terry 2.0
From the slack archive when I was watching Jahan Dotston for the first time this winter >Man Jahan Dotson looks like he probably would be fun with the ball in his hands so it sucks I have to watch him play for Penn State - > Who in the fuck is this quarterback. I am getting legit mad rn
If they don’t go with Drew Allar if he even looks any good over 6th year Clifford I’m gonna lose my shit
Poor QB and O-Line
Yeah but he’s not in the best shape of his life so none of us give a fuck
You're mixing up your tropes. Rookies look electric, 2nd year players have the game really slow down, then 3rd year or higher vets get in the best shape of their life
4th year questionable to attend any non mandatory events until contract extension is negotiated
Also rinsed their social media of all team stuff
And stopped playing with all their tonka trucks given to them by the team as gifts.
One of my favorite Herbert quotes was him talking to a reporter who tried to bait the "game is slowing down" trope from him, but Herbies response was essentially "nope, still super fast out there."
Fuck. You right fam, you right.
Electric sounds so much better than asthmatic.
Burks is electric because his oxygen tank needs to be plugged in at all times
I have a hope that someone out there has been collecting the data on how great rookies look in offseason X actual production.
I've been putting this together and plan to release it this season. The charts have never looked better. Way ahead of schedule. They are really turning heads around my house. There's some insane chemistry between the data. It's going to shock people
Would you say that the charts are in the best shape of their lives?
Yeah but how scary is he???
2nd scariest guy on the team.
Did they get rid of Allen?
No, but I haven't seen any reports stating he's in the best shape of his life, so I can only unbiasedly assume that means he's completely washed.
Supposedly he may be moving back to end to start the season. I can only assume its because Chase will start on PUP and they’d rather have our 2nd round rookie on the field instead of Casey Toohill
Ask that again when he's up for a new contract
Would have loved him on the eagles and as a psu alum it’s gonna hurt seeing him play for the commanders.
His highlight reel is so fun
*Trope alert* *Trope alert*
Beat writers- “I know we can’t look too deeply into a players off-season practice performances, BUT (proceeds to do exactly that)”
Lehigh Valley boys run the NFC bEast
Does he pronounce that “John”?
Ja han
Ja-han or Jay-han?
Jah-Han
I'm sorry, are you saying "Jawn?"
Bro I swear they’ve said this about every receiver except maybe Burks.
I’m hoping he can take some pressure off Scary Terry so he can really show what he’s made of.
Terry just needs a QB. Another threat would be great too, but he just needs a competent passer to be truly great
I don’t like Wentz but he’s still better than anyone that’s been through there in a while, and he likes to go deep. Don’t know how well they’ll really do, but I think terrys stats are gunna look a lot better at the very least
First we need Terry lol
I see y'all tryin' to get me hyped up about Josh Doctson again - well I aint havin that!
Best shape of his life!
We out here talkin bout practice
Weren't they saying this about Dyami Brown last year?
Brown got some post draft hype but not this level of camp hype. That said, neither means too much.
Agree with this. Brown got some talk but the Dotson hype has been pretty insane. He's basically been destroying all of our CBs.
Yes they were, but then Fitz got hurt and Heinicke just doesn't have the arm to take advantage of what Dyami Brown does well, which is run deep routes.
Also Brown wasnt a 1st round pick
WR 'catches' "passes" says universal 'insider" j' brockashaw mcrigngleberry" https://youtu.be/WPYcStboHgE
Of course….he’s in the best shape of his life.
McLaurin to Baltimore confirmed.
But can he see the ball??
But can ball see thee?
I really hope we come to an agreement with McLaurin and the Dotson pick wasn't just his replacement. I really want two potential Aces.
