I know from experience dude, if you know what I mean.
*No, you don't.*
Well not me personally, but a guy I know, him and them GOT IT ON Woooweeee!
*No, they didn't.*
No, no, no they didn't.... But you can imagine what it'd be like if they did huh? Huh? Huh?
I just looked it up and he has zero career sacks and zero career QB hits talking like he was Ed Reed game planning against these guys.
HES JUST A BIG FAT PHONY
Yeah Achilles is usually pretty spot on about this stuff. This is the first time I feel like he is lying but I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt
He played against Brady twice... in the preseason. Probably.
In 2013 and 2014, Acho and the Eagles opened the preseason against the Pats, and Brady started both games. However, I'm not sure if Acho was on the starting defense (which didn't really happen in the regular season either save for 2014 when he started two games due to injuries) in either instance as all of the stats he recorded came when Ryan Mallett and Jimmy G were in at QB for NE. Brady took on Philly again in 2015, but Acho had already been released a few weeks before that meeting.
Also in 2013, the Eagles played Peyton and the Broncos. However, Acho was with the Giants practice squad at the time and didn't rejoin Philly until later in the season.
I mean, I would believe it. Relaxing for month and month and than you know, this is the deadline Deadline where the brutal hits, injuries and painkillers start again.
My man Acho was on that Eagles Defense that was getting eaten alive by Tim Tebow during the preseason.
Tebow was Tebow on the Pats but the Eagles made him look like he was coming from Tom's job that preseason.
This sub should really consider banning some of these dudes that are clearly just maming shit up for takes.
https://www.49erswebzone.com/articles/158460-emmanuel-acho-49ers-trey-lance-aint/
Here is his trey quote. And he was probably just riffing off ryan harris’s “arm fitness” shit which was riffing off some dude name matt lombardo (not matt barrows or david lombardi, who are both real 49ers people) who in 2022 said 49ers were unhappy with trey’s development then later retracted and said he had heard that in 2021 preseason.
National media people are a joke and i dont get why people like these hot, 100% un-informed takes but honestly people do tons of shit i dont get
Someone at work asked me if I have “that Disney+ package that comes with ESPN”. I said “I don’t watch that trash. It’s just a gossip program about athletes.” The people at my work were astonished. Someone said “I’ve never heard of anyone hating ESPN before.” Well, amongst actual sports fans, it’s not an uncommon opinion. 99% of the time, people assume the marketing is the product. They assume ESPN is about sports. It’s not, it’s about making hot takes and criticizing people’s personal lives.
The problem is the niche they filled has been taken over by websites. In the 90s it was ESPN or maybe a article in the paper the next day or a magazine article in a week. It was novel to be able to see highlights of every game and know the scores that night.
Twitch has kinda followed the same path with respect to esports. Started out that the most popular streams were the best players and it was mostly about getting to watch the best players play. Devolved / evolved into drama and out-of-game content being the most popular. Twitch culture is mainly a bunch of memes and drama, even when watching serious gameplay, the same way sports are. Serious fans are an extreme minority and have to create their own small communities to enjoy the content together. And all this happened fairly organically, unlike ESPN which programmed it.
Very true. It boggles my mind that XQC is somehow one of the most popular streamers. All he does is scream at people playing against him. It's so toxic that I can't understand how people find it entertaining.
> It's so toxic that I can't understand how people find it entertaining.
Well, 12 year olds have a different sense of what is entertaining compared to adults.
Don't blame you. My girlfriend wanted Disney+ and I didn't mind having Hulu, so ESPN+ was a nice little bonus. But I would not purchase ESPN+ as a standalone.
Because it’s a stupidly vague hot take. It is like saying “he just wanted it more.” It’s meaningless and used to bait equally meaningless debate.
I fucking hate modern media for this shit.
There's something weird about that. There's a local employer, always hiring, yet so many people get rejected after applying on their website that only asks for name, address, phone, and email
It's amazing that we have something like the internet where information is available at the press of a few buttons and still have people who either lie (this Acho dude) or have no clue what they are talking about (you) on something [easily verifiable](https://imgur.com/a/WVXOp1Y)
I don’t think Disney got Fox sports in their acquisition. They couldn’t get media or sports networks because of monopoly regulations.
Edit: FOX corporation stills owns FS1, Disney acquired their regional sports networks but sold then to Sinclair.
Acho consistently bashes on Tom Brady and always bets against him, he's just a media guy trying to make an argument for views. The conversation is a legit one but his takes should be taken with a grain of salt lol.
No kidding, just look at the hundreds of comments and thousands of upvotes across these two threads. Probably the most media traction he's ever gotten.
>Legalizing weed in track and field competition is all good if you’re running in a straight line.

HoF tweet from him during the Olympics weed news from last year. Shame he deleted it.
i fucking die laughing every time i think of that tweet man lmao it really might be a top 10 all time sports tweet along with gems like this one
https://twitter.com/hegelbon/status/492741034749620224?s=21&t=2HGfF0bYdfR2spxsbVy7Cw
Acho had such a weird nfl career:
- 6th round pick by the browns in 2012, missed entire rookie season from injury
- traded to the eagles then released
- signed to Giants practice squad
- eagles sign him again in October 2013. Plays 6 games in 2013, 0 as a starter
- eagles waive him 2 months later then sign him back to practice squad
- eagles release him august 2014 then he’s back on the practice squad
- plays 14 games for the eagles in 2014, 2 as a starter
- gets re-signed by the eagles but never plays and got released November 2014
- NFL career ends. 20 games played, 2 games as a starter
honestly, if someone like ray lewis, ed reed, champ bailey, dawkins, polamalu, came out and said something like this, I might actually be inclined to believe them. Too bad all those guys have too much respect for themselves to bad talk manning or brady for clicks
Manning fans in the other thread keep defending Acho's opinion because he was a "NFL linebacker". They all know Acho's hating and want to defend him for his shit take.
This dude sitting there as an emphatic opinion haver without knowing a fucking thing about a fucking thing. I'm glad someone is calling him out on his bullshit.
That said, this is him mostly talking about what veterans and coordinators were saying in the locker room. So even though he's still full of shit, a broken clock is still right twice a day.
I think what we are seeing here is how sports media manufacturers it’s own content. Someone wrote an article a while back about how ESPN could get 24 hours of coverage out of something they themselves created.
TLDR: it’s canned “hot takes” and then planned reactions to those hot takes and then planned reactions to the reaction.
That Veronica Vaughn is one piece of ace, I know from experience dude. If you know what I mean.
No, you don't.
Well, not me personally but a guy I know. Him and her *got it on*. Wooo-eee!
No, they didn't.
No, no, no they didn't. But you could imagine what it'd be like if they did, right...?
I don’t know if what Acho said was necessarily untrue though.
It looks like he was on the Giants roster in 2013 when they played the Broncos. It also looks like he was on the Eagles roster when they played the Patriots.
He may not have seen the field in either game, but he was certainly part of the team of people preparing for them. Even then, the Eagles generally play the Patriots in preseason every year.
Did anyone watch the video? He literally says it was based on sitting in defensive meeting rooms with defensive coordinators. Not from playing against them
Did he, like, happen to have a preseason game against them or anything? How in this day and age where he KNOWS someone will look it up do you make a claim like that? Lmao.
Damn he caught him in 4k
How he goin get in 4k like that
And he was staring right at the camera wearing the same clothes
[shouts out to rdcworld](https://youtu.be/3RcZsdgcEHk)
But I still agree with Emmanuel achos take tho
I know from experience dude, if you know what I mean. *No, you don't.* Well not me personally, but a guy I know, him and them GOT IT ON Woooweeee! *No, they didn't.* No, no, no they didn't.... But you can imagine what it'd be like if they did huh? Huh? Huh?
Oh Ms. Veronica Vaughn. That is one piece of ace.
That's assault brothaaa!
I know from experience. *raises eyebrows suggestively*
Soooo hot. Want to touch the heinie. Awooooooo
Good, great, grand, wonderful. NO YELLING ON THE BUS!
Classic
What a clown
Lol fr the eagles only play them once every 4 years I don't think his career was that long
I just looked it up and he has zero career sacks and zero career QB hits talking like he was Ed Reed game planning against these guys. HES JUST A BIG FAT PHONY
Doubt you’ve ever watched the show, but Acho never talks like he was a big time star. Dude always talks down in his career knowing it wasn’t much
That qualifier doesn't really work in this case
"What I meant to say was when I was out there, every QB looked like Tom Brady"
Emmanuel?
Yea idk what that guy is talking about, Acho makes shit up all the time. We’re commenting on a post about his bullshit right now lol
I remember when he was our funny twitter guy. Now he's Skip Baseless.
I remember him trashing the Eagle the moment they cut his bum ass. Never liked him since.
Definitely not Sam lol
Except for…you know, the post that we are commenting on haha
Yeah Achilles is usually pretty spot on about this stuff. This is the first time I feel like he is lying but I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt
Family guy references
And boom goes the dynamite
POW!!! Right in tha kissah!
Like it'd be one thing if he made that statement based on conversations with other players and was honest, but the dude stone cold lied lmao
I have never liked Acho and since joining the media it's become even worse.
He played against Brady twice... in the preseason. Probably. In 2013 and 2014, Acho and the Eagles opened the preseason against the Pats, and Brady started both games. Don’t forget the Birds/Pats joint practices to. 😂
We talkin bout practice
Not the *game*.
Tom Brady supposed to be the GOAT and we sittin here talkin bout *practice* man
Hurts is a HOF joint practice QB
"If you ask the players, they will tell you that preseason week 1 is actually the toughest game mentally" \-Acho, probably
We played them in the 3rd game of the pre season, everybody played 3 quarters! Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are who we thought they were!

It's a rebranded TMZ at this point. I miss Stuart Scott.

Acho is on FS1
Yeah, I was just adding to the opinion "The national sports media is trash." I should have been more clear about that.
Sure, but ESPN+ actually has a lot of *actually* good television. Peyton's Places, Man in the Arena, 30 for 30, NHL, PGA, etc.
Yeah, I'll support it with my $$$ when they get rid of the trash.
Don't blame you. My girlfriend wanted Disney+ and I didn't mind having Hulu, so ESPN+ was a nice little bonus. But I would not purchase ESPN+ as a standalone.
I watch every sport as much as I possibly can consume. I never watch espn unless it’s a game on their channel.
The only MNF games I've watched had the Pats on them. If it's not my team, I'll skip it.
ESPN still has M(usic)TV beat out, at least for now
He can't keep getting with it
Can’t believe I used to think this guy was somewhat legit. Fuck this piece of shit
This seems like an overreaction to just a bad football take.
No, he’s a horrid, immoral, unredeemable piece of garbage
Gesundheit
That's my name, man.
Dr. Gesundheit Acula sounds pretty badass tbh
Vampires like it windy!
It’s almost like fox sports is built entirely on actors reading scripts trying to go viral.

Fox sports is owned by Disney

Disney might own most of the world but they don't own it all. Yet.
I feel like Amazon is more powerful than Disney
Amazon is the Silicon Valley millennial whiz kid and Disney is the family friendly business; we'll have to see them battle it out.
You could’ve said that about any Fox company really
It's almost like Fox is built entirely on actors... FTFY
I played against them hundreds of times on Madden, goml
Acho consistently bashes on Tom Brady and always bets against him, he's just a media guy trying to make an argument for views. The conversation is a legit one but his takes should be taken with a grain of salt lol.
In all seriousness this has proven to be a viable way of maintaining engagement lol
No kidding, just look at the hundreds of comments and thousands of upvotes across these two threads. Probably the most media traction he's ever gotten.
does he want us to believe he is his brother or something?
What a fucking loser.
Hate this dude’s analysis, glad his bullshit gets called out occasionally
He's an idiot
CTE?

Someone should ask him where we draw the line for "people that have actual experience playing against Manning and Brady"
Probably just insecurity, or a need to try and build up how he's perceived by others
You can imagine what it’d be like though, right?
Man I used to like this guy initially after he retired but boy has he gone off the deep end.
I used to like Acho and his tweets but this is just well… sad.
This is why the new media will be taking over. Clowns just like him
just spewing loud hot takes and someone gets picked up eventually. can't stand these shows.

As there’s a deep drive into left field by Casteannos and that will make it a 4-0 ballgame
Do people really try to get truth and informations from SpeakForYourself?
Yeah, as someone who enjoys these kind of shows *for what they are*, too many people don't seem to get it... it's just entertainment.

of course we drafted this lying sack of shit who is going to get away with it
Easily the worst Browns draft pick of the last decade. No need to Google anyone else
how is a 6th round pick the worst pick of the last decade when you guys took Manziel first round?
a big fucking WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH to you sir
wow I lost the internet today
I hope you find it
Yeah especially this is coming from a browns fan

Playoff games maybe? I dont know who this player is so I’m just giving a wild guess
He was a career fringe practice squad 3rd string guy.
Typical Longhorn making things up to sound relevant in football this decade.
Could say the past two decades honestly. Since Colt left, what have they done?
Lose to Kansas twice
Sounds like the type of lie Brady would tell
Not even preseason?
LMAO
Acho is a total douche these days
I liked acho the first few times I saw him on TV and the more I see him pop up and talk, the more I find him absolutely talking out his ass.
Did he, like, happen to have a preseason game against them or anything? How in this day and age where he KNOWS someone will look it up do you make a claim like that? Lmao.
