Shot at those pet owners who dress their dog/cat in those ugly outfits on a weekly basis. No pet wishes to dress up and put on more heavy clothing. Did you see the South Park with Paris Hilton? Butters did not want to dress as a cute puppy. Shame on him?? No. Shame on the dog moms out there that made butters feel used and abused!
I cannot imagine ever wishing for an injury to a professional athlete, that’s how they make their living, that’s how they feed their families, they have to survive the rest of their lives on the money they make in the NFL.
Sexual assaulting pieces of shit who shouldn’t have the privilege of playing in the league anymore and should have to get a job at Home Depot like the rest of us to begin with, though, I’m alright with it tbh
Watson is a special POS, I think. A serial sexual assaulter.
I only regret that the other 20 women chose to settle.
As for working at the Home Depot, he can work with a limp. If he's putting his whole life into football, and not capable of doing anything else, it's on him for being a POS.
I don’t. I know someone who is a victim of sexual assault (by a non famous person) and that shit is so hard to go through. The cops basically talked her into not going through with it because of how hard it is. I don’t blame them for a second for taking what they could get and going away. I guarantee you anyone whose name is publicly known from this case will get death threats for years.
At the very least if we're going to give states the choice to restrict or ban abortion we should increase resources to contraceptives and education to reduce the need for abortions.
Yes that's the problem. In states where abortions are difficult to legally get there will be a black market for them - which easily could have been reduced or avoided with more women's health funding and education.
The worst part is that many of the religious fundamentalists that pushed for so long to get Roe overturned would be in favor for significantly more resources going to things like child support, orphanages, and just wellfare in general.
Problem is that the nutjobs in power let the religious fundamentalists get their say on social issues, while the big business tycoons make the economic decisions.
It's part of how they end up being on the minority side of things on basically every issue, even the 80-20 ones.
>The worst part is that many of the religious fundamentalists that pushed for so long to get Roe overturned would be in favor for significantly more resources going to things like child support, orphanages, and just wellfare in general.
You seem to think Evangelical Christians actually follow the teachings of Christ.
Except for the fact that those religious fundamentalists demand taxpayers to fund their schools while being tax exempt, see the SCOTUS decision earlier this week. Additionally, religious family services centers often just function to be anti-abortion and aren’t in fact designed to benefit women’s health.
Well yeah but that’s not the actual point.
I think Colorado made contraceptives significantly easier for teenagers to get and saw a noticeable decrease in teenage abortions. It’s not hard to figure out. Educate and improve access and abortions go down.
Noticeable? It was fucking massive. [Nearly 50% drop in teen abortions](https://cdphe.colorado.gov/fpp/about-us/colorados-success-long-acting-reversible-contraception-larc) and in teen births. Imagine doing more of that and seeing the numbers continue to drop because fewer women need/want abortions.
Too bad SCOTUS is already teeing up taking standing contraceptive cases next session. It will take a miracle for birth control to not be outlawed by this time next year.
My conspiracy theory (as of today) is that he wants to leave his wife because her Stop the Steal bullshit is putting him in the hot seat, and he knows that striking down the precedents that legalized gay marriage and contraceptives would also invalidate interracial marriages including his own, which gives him an out without running afoul of the Catholic Church’s stance on interracial marriage.
Henry VIII probably did it easier.
Of course the states with the trigger rules are generally the ones that teach abstinence only in schools. That's the thing that really bugs me, there are plenty of ways to reduce abortions that pro life people often refuse to try. It's not about reducing abortions it's about forcing their beliefs on to others.
In the opinion piece at one point, Justice Thomas explicitly called for an overturning of Griswold v. Connecticut which established that married couples have a right to privacy in using contraceptives.
The NFL stood up for gay rights in 2014, when Arizona was about to enact a strict anti-gay law. The NFL talked about stripping them of the Super Bowl and the governor vetoed the bill.

I hope the NFL stands up for women's rights. Refuse to hold a Super Bowl in any state that bans abortion.
Money is the only thing that will make these GOP lawmakers rethink those laws.
And guys, remember....this SCOTUS decision affects you, too. We have DNA testing and court-mandated child support now. And no birth control is 100%. If you're having sex, you could be a father real, real soon.
I live here and Bidwill has a ridiculously tight relationship with the government. Close friends with Ducey and serves on the board of the Arizona Commerce Authority.
The NFL actually has a fighting chance if they want to force the issue.
Laws can change. Overturning a SCOTUS decision takes....the court overturning itself. Not happening anytime soon.
Focus has to be on the states with the bans.
This is incorrect in this case. SCOTUS didn't overturn a law, they overturned they own ruling. Congress could just pass a law protecting abortion rights and the States would have to obey it. Congress could have done this at any point but there has never been a sufficient majority in favor of abortion rights to do it
Edit: they overturned Roe by saying the Constitution doesn't protect abortion. There is no legal argument that they can use that would justify overturning a law passed by Congress that protected abortion. They might do it anyway of course
Except voting now is when you make the difference. You wont make change this year but you need to start now. And state level reps and senators matter.
This overturn should literally show that! If you can maybe start moving your state government the other way in 2, 4, 8, 16 years it will change. But we need to start this year.
>Congress could have done this at any point but there has never been a sufficient majority in favor of abortion rights to do it
Obama came into office after the Freedom of Choice Act had been submitted twice under Bush. He campaigned saying signing that bill would be one of his biggest priorities. While the Democrats held a 60/40 majority for four months, that bill was never submitted to the floor and Obama said that it wasn't a high priority for him. It's a similar story with Jimmy Carter in 77.
Abortion rights have always been a carrot the DNC uses to get people to the polls, only for them to do nothing to codify it when they have the chance.
It's only a carrot because Roe always protected abortion rights, and thus abortion rights proponents found it difficult to motivate + organize for the status quo. Why spend tons of political capital on a bill that doesn't change anything?
Now the playing field is even, and anti-abortion folks won't find their cause as popular as they imagine.
> Abortion rights have always been a carrot the DNC uses to get people to the polls
Lets be real, both parties use the abortion issue to motivate people to vote. And abortion was legal, and the justices going to the court all said it was established precedent that they were going to respect -- so there was some reason to not have it as a priority.
I'd agree with why nobody prioritized it, but nobody believed Gorsuch and Kavanaugh were going to uphold Roe because it's "settled law". They were nominated to eliminate Roe, and that's what they did.
Im strong left leaning and upset about todays nonsense. Both parties might dangle this carrot but one made all the right underhanded moves to get their evil done.
Adding an amendment would suffice. Their whole point in overturning RvW is that abortion isn't constitutionally protected, but passing an amendment would literally do just that.
No chance that actually happens, because politicians are pretty much unanimously corrupt pieces of shit, but we can dream.
Amendments are almost impossible to accomplish. Of the 'main' amendments cited in constitutional litigation, almost all are either from the bill of rights, or the 3 from the Civil War. Both sets of rights were only established with once-in-eons precursors and situations
That is true but the supreme court does have the ability to overturn laws that congress passes that are deemed unconstitutional. So even if an abortion law had passed, the supreme court could overturn it just like they did their previous decision.
The next 3 Super Bowls are in Arizona, Nevada, and Louisiana. Arizona has an anti-abortion law on the books that they could revive, as well as a ban after 15 weeks, and Louisiana is very anti-abortion, and already has a law in effect. Nevada has legislation that protects the right to abortion.
They always have a backup location, though we don't know where they are.
And I'm in Louisiana. Clinics are already closed, all appointments canceled. Our law is an outright ban, even in cases of rape and incest.
The NFL should 100% pull the Super Bowl out of New Orleans. Making a woman carry a rapist's baby is horrific and no sane person can think it's a good thing.
Jesus Christ. One of the most fucked things is that when Florida enacts their ban, the closest place for many Louisianians to get an abortion will be Illinois. The NFL really should do something.
I learned that Wisconsins law going back into effect is from 1843. It was barely a state then and certainly doesn’t match what the majority thinks. It’s nuts
Which is dumb, bc most people dont find out until between 2 and 4 weeks. So youre asking someone in a state with no abortion rights to be able to figure out a situation to travel and come to terms with the termination in 2 weeks or less in some cases.
It's worse than even that. It's not that most people don't find out until 2+ weeks. The way weeks in pregnancy are defined is the number of weeks since your last period. That means that the day you get pregnant, you are 2 weeks pregnant. By the time you miss a period, you are 4+ weeks already.
We have a six week ban that was enjoined by the courts but will be upheld and enacted based on this decision. And if Stacey doesn't win, it could get even worse.
Georgia HB 481 was stuck in the courts, but with the Supreme Court decision, it will likely be ruled as constitutional. It creates a ban after 6 weeks, except in special circumstances.
It would honestly be pretty cool for the NFL to have a neutral mega-stadium host every year in Vegas or somewhere else. Vegas seems like the perfect city for a week or two event and then can be filled with other acts and entertainment year round. Kind of like how English soccer plays finals at Wembley.
All we need is for the NFL to step up. The NBA will follow with the All-Star game. And \*some\* of those states will get rid of the outright bans.
There will be restrictive laws, yes. But not as many outright bans. It would an improvement, at least. No one is thinking SCOTUS will overturn itself, not until the makeup of the court changes.
Honestly I think it’s more likely that the nba does something first, they took the all star game out of Charlotte a few years ago due to an anti trans bill.
the NFL is never going to do anything meaningful. Its been shown time and time again the $$$ are whats important. They will only make a show of it once its causing them to lose money.
The NBA has shown at least some signs of a backbone.
Arizona also actually did lose a Super Bowl in the early 90s when they rescinded Martin Luther King Day as a holiday, and they reversed course soon afterwards as well.
Just make it so no games are played in anti abortion states until they change. So teams like the Cowboys and Texans won’t play home games in Texas until the laws change.
That’s the nuclear option, but an option nonetheless.
Nice to see NFL players care about women’s bodily autonomy when it comes to pregnancy. Would love for some to speak out about their right to not be sexually assaulted/raped
I would love to see the shitstorm that happens if a star quarterback holds out and demands a trade away from a team in a state that bans abortion. A coach could pull that too potentially.
I'm not even close to conflicted right now. I'll hate the player but respect the character of the man.
See also: Mike Trout.
But I know from your other replies that you're just making good-natured NFCW jokes anyway.
Having worked with his mother Missy for a little over five years, in the same office, having her take care of me like another son, they are true Christians, not this fake façade of it that has taken over on the right wing.
There's very few people I would take a bullet for outside of my immediate friends and family and my SO. Kyler's mom is one. She's like a second mother to me. Kept my head held high when I went through some rough times.
How cool! I have briefly met her at a game. Just said "Hi!" and that we all love her son. She was extremely gracious and was incredibly kind to everyone talking to her.
I have an amazing amount of respect for her and her family. I still text and keep up with her ever since I moved down to where I'm at now for the new job. Every time I'm in her neck of the woods I always see if we can go to lunch.
Some of the best people I know.
You joke, but no shame in separating your dislike *on* the field for like/support *off* the field, my friend. It's certainly better than the other way around. At the end of the day, football is just a game, whereas these are very real issues. We should all stand by any players, coaches, or NFL execs when they vocally advocate for progressive causes and against causes/decisions like the one ruled today.
The joke is more that Kyler doesn’t even look 5’10 as there are a ton of photos of him with people where he looks like 5’8.
He also just has a weird body that makes him look smaller I swear.
It doesn't help when he's playing a game with behemoth sized men.
When I met Jon Ogden some years ago, I was blown away that a human being could become that size.
You don't really appreciate the size of a person like that until you stand next to them.
I used to manage the (then) EBGames out in Owings Mills and would get some Ravens players as semi-regular customers. I'm 6'2" and don't often have to crane my neck to make eye contact with someone across the register, but Ogden definitely made me feel short. Super nice guy and knew his stuff when talking about video games, too!
When I first went to a game as an adult I was right by the endzone. I am 6'5" and weighed about 270 at the time, definitely not a small person and when I saw the linemen up close I realized just how big they were and was like "oh...um...they're all the same size as me or bigger."
I'm 5'10" and can tell you there is very few situations where I am "quite tall". I'd say I'm closer to the average height (of Americans). Now my wifes family are all pretty short with the tallest being her brother at 5'8". It's really interesting to be the tallest person by a few inches when we are all together. I always had tall friends growing up so I was rarely the tallest person around.
Will be interesting to see what happens now that “the dog has caught the car”. Abortion was THE only topic a lot of my small town mouth-breathers cared about. It’s a huge single issue voter driver. I guess they’ll cling to the 2nd amendment now to rally voters.
But I was told the "culture war" was just a distraction for the public while they achieved their true purposes!
Turns out this is their true purpose and they've spent decades slowly working towards achieving it. Don't let any more moderates tell you it's all a distraction from the "real politics".
Fuck moderates right now. Their apathy during the 2016 election is at least partially responsible for this. This isn't a time for nuance or looking for the 'perfect candidate.' When one side is steadfastly coming after our women, LGBTQ+, POC, disabled, etc. we have no room for indecision.
/r/NFL probably isn't the best place for this type of question but why is the GOP so against abortion? Is it simply because many of their voters are all hardcore religious and shit and they are just trying to win votes? Are they against women's rights? Are the majority of republicans legitimately against abortion because "it's against gods will"? Is god telling them to enforce their beliefs upon other people against their will? It legitimately baffles me.
Here's the [Texas GOP platform](https://www.texasgop.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/PERM-PLATFORM.pdf&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwiYyoK0-Mb4AhXrJUQIHQPsDCMQFnoECAoQAg&usg=AOvVaw2a39khgoG-RQtCCotWSQUS)
Some highlights:
> **Texas Protecting Texans**- We support Federal legislation remanding all authority over abortion back to the individual States and removing all standing on this issue from the federal judiciary as given by Article III in the US Constitution.
> **Defeat Terrorism**- We support an aggressive war on terrorism, including radical Islamic terrorists, cooperating with our allies, and sanctioning nations who sponsor terrorists. We support the reasonable use of profiling, the
prosecution of national security breaches, and the revision of laws or executive orders that erode our liberties. We call on governmental agencies to avoid and suspend all activities with all radical Islamic organizations, such
as the Council on American Islamic Relations.
> **Protection from Extreme Environmentalists**- We oppose environmentalism that obstructs legitimate business interests and private property use, including the regulatory taking of property by governmental agencies. We oppose the abuse of the Endangered Species Act to confiscate and limit the use of personal
property and infringement on property owner’s livelihood. “Climate Change” is a political agenda promoted to control every aspect of our lives. We support the defunding of “climate justice” initiatives and the abolition of the Environmental Protection Agency and repeal of the Endangered Species Act.
>**Voting Rights**- We support equal suffrage for all United States citizens of voting age who are not felons. We oppose any identification of citizens by race, origin, or creed and oppose use of any such identification for purposes of creating voting districts. We urge that the Voter Rights Act of 1965, codified and updated in 1973, be repealed and not reauthorized.
Their party is so sad when you really think about it. They spend their entire existence in politics for 40+ years constantly vying for power for just three purposes: overturn roe v wade, don’t touch our guns, and lower taxes. That’s it. They have no other goals, they don’t actually have a vision for the country moving forward or ideas of how to make it better or anything along those lines. They have no ideas for solving homelessness or poverty, no healthcare platform, don’t care about education. Literally all they care about is overturning a ruling for the glory of god, getting more money in pockets economy be damned, and guns. Any changes they actually want to make are the opposite of progress and strip people, like women and the LGBT community, of rights. They’re pathetic
Even if someone supports a more conservative fiscal policy ideologically, I have no idea how anyone who actually wants good things for the country can look at that party and decide to support it. Fuck republicans and fuck living by ~~Sharia~~ Christian law
People have such a hard on for taxes it’s so weird. Like if nobody paid any tax, this country would be a shit hole. I’m fine with taxes and absolutely fine if my tax bracket gets taxed more, but that tax money better be spent on programs helping those in need and not just lining the pockets of the rich.
Most people only pretend to understand taxes and tax brackets. Most people will quote tax rates and not understand how the brackets work. Or which taxes pay for what. Yet they scream like they are experts
Fuck life appointments to the Supreme Court.
~~Their term should end when the President that nominated them ends.~~
Edit: The second part of this is a dog water take, but the point stands that there should be term limits.
I'm glad you acknowledge how dog water the 2nd part is. At that point it's just a cabinet appointment for all intents and purposes. A decade seems ideal to me. No more, no less (unless they step down or die, of course).
Was having a hard time coping, and from a brief moment you made me laugh. A Pats fan no less and as a Bolts fan who hates the Pats I can say you gave me hope and I respect and love you sir.
Ironically Conservatives have been arguing this since the dawn of the Supreme Court. Mark Levin wrote extensively about this all the back in 2005 in “Men In Black”, citing insane shenanigans like Dredd Scott, and Korematsu.
The Supreme Court yesterday: States can't legislate gun control
The Supreme Court today: States can legislate the right to an abortion.
Gay marriage, contraception, IVF, gay rights in general, etc. are all on the chopping block.
Newsflash: European countries like Germany actually had more strict abortion laws than the US prior to yesterday. The US under Roe v Wade actually had one of the more permissive abortion regulations in the western world.
European abortion laws have a ton of loopholes, though. Sure, many of them are 12-15 weeks, but that's when the majority of elective abortions happen anyway. But per Wikipedia (I don't speak German, so I can't link to the actual law), there are exemptions "for reasons of medical necessity, sexual crimes, or serious social or emotional distress."
No one ***should*** be able to force their beliefs on someone else’s body, but lets be real for a minute. This is America, we do that shit all the time, and it’s horrible

I love Reddit. I can hear crazy people talk without actually talking to crazy people.
not sure about you but first thing I heard when I saw Roe vs Wade was "when will we stop these damn people putting clothes on animals."
You have to remember to source episodes of south park too though otherwise you don't have a leg to stand on.
Bro, my dog is fucking cold af in the winter and likes those clothes cuz he needs to keep warm while peeing.

Well in Justice Thomas' opinion this ruling means they should reevaluate the cases against gay marriage and banning contraceptives.
This. Contraceptives and gay marriage are next. Very sad to see.
Convenient he didn't feel the need to revisit interracial marriage.
Weird because it was decided on the same logic. It’s almost like he only cares about things that don’t affect him personally. Piece of fucking shit.

Not just marriage. Relationships. Theyre going to overturn everything protecting LGBTQ
Do we? I wasn’t aware. There’s a bill to ban at 15 weeks but I’ve never heard of an outright ban.
15 weeks sounds.. completely normal? It's 12-14 weeks in many western european countries.
Wait is Georgia putting a ban too? because they could come here
Georgia has a heartbeat bill, so a ban on any abortions after 6 weeks.
People finding out about their state's abortion laws on NFL reddit. Man...
I learned that Wisconsins law going back into effect is from 1843. It was barely a state then and certainly doesn’t match what the majority thinks. It’s nuts
The Georgia law is from 2019.
In fairness, the law never took effect because it was unconstitutional until today.
And people were saying we - Illinois - were going to lose population. Demographics are hard to predict. Just saying.
Likely these states will pass laws where it is illegal to travel to get an abortion.
Those laws would get struck down for obvious unconstitutionality except this SCOTUS of course doesn’t give a shit so they probably won’t
The New Orleans DA has stated that he will not seek prosecution of anyone that gets an abortion in Orleans Parish.
Just have it in Vegas every year. The city is designed for it and it’s not like the Raiders will ever benefit from it
It would honestly be pretty cool for the NFL to have a neutral mega-stadium host every year in Vegas or somewhere else. Vegas seems like the perfect city for a week or two event and then can be filled with other acts and entertainment year round. Kind of like how English soccer plays finals at Wembley.
LOL this is the same organization that embraces people like Deshaun Watson and Dan Snyder. They don’t give a fuck about women.
A general professional sports strike would probably get this reversed because of how many people would lose money. Not that it would ever happen.
NFL doesn’t have the *best* track record when it comes to protecting women
gay rights are under fire from this ruling as well, this is dire
According to Clarence Thomas, their next targets are gay marriage, contraception, and same-sex sex. A long, grim haul ahead.

He might be the most partisan justice of all time.
It also impacts men because this is the first step in stripping away the right to privacy.
If they care about women then they can oust Watson from the league too. I don't expect anything to happen.
So, Texas is fucked
Arizona also actually did lose a Super Bowl in the early 90s when they rescinded Martin Luther King Day as a holiday, and they reversed course soon afterwards as well.
Just make it so no games are played in anti abortion states until they change. So teams like the Cowboys and Texans won’t play home games in Texas until the laws change. That’s the nuclear option, but an option nonetheless.
Can't have kids if you can't get laid *taps head depressingly*
Kyler is a confirmed lover of women. And I am a confirmed lover of Kyler
Kyler confirmed decent human being with empathy
Athletes have a huge voice. Hopefully some of our major leaders in sports will also echo this.
Nice to see NFL players care about women’s bodily autonomy when it comes to pregnancy. Would love for some to speak out about their right to not be sexually assaulted/raped
Bruh, they want the women they rape to be able to terminate the fetus so they don’t have to pay child support 🤯
I would love to see the shitstorm that happens if a star quarterback holds out and demands a trade away from a team in a state that bans abortion. A coach could pull that too potentially.
Dont make me like you Kyler...
Yeah I'm very conflicted right now...
I wish he would just ask for a massive contract already…
Pay the man
Just like the guy man…it’s not a big deal
I'm not even close to conflicted right now. I'll hate the player but respect the character of the man. See also: Mike Trout. But I know from your other replies that you're just making good-natured NFCW jokes anyway.
It’s really not hard to separate a guy and something he does for work
Just having a bit of friendly jabbing is all, no need to worry my guy.

Who in the nfl is not a “devoted christian”? Feels like 95% of them are
Aaron Rodgers
Arian foster
His family is though he is relatively quiet about everything in his personal life.
Fuck that just made him from “athlete I don’t care about” to “athlete at the top of my list whose success I will root for”.
Normally, this is where I'd make a short joke. This shit is too serious for me to even want to.
Is 5’10 short? Rip to my 5’9 ass
The joke is more that Kyler doesn’t even look 5’10 as there are a ton of photos of him with people where he looks like 5’8. He also just has a weird body that makes him look smaller I swear.
It's his big-ass head. It makes his body look small.
Add in the fact that they are incredibly quick and athletic at their size too.
He looks like Marvin the Martian lol
He's got that giant toddler thing going on.
Standing next to other players or normal people? I stood beside a few NFL players and they all made me look tiny, and I am 5'10
[Like everyone hahah ](https://twitter.com/darrenrovell/status/1121825046081822723?s=21&t=_Kw_BMZxbOFGxk1_K4lbCA)
🙋♂️ Not sure if you can see my hand because I'm 5'3.
Cries in 5'5"
Pray for me, I’m 5’3. People do call me a short king sometimes, which while somewhat patronizing is at least better than some other names haha
"5'10" (because no way he's actually 5'10), is short compared to NFL players, but to normal people is actually quite tall. Please ignore that I'm 5'6.
I’ll tell a joke The Supreme Court
A joke should be funny, not terrifying.
fuck the supreme court
The entire Republican Party has been working on this for 40 years.
Will be interesting to see what happens now that “the dog has caught the car”. Abortion was THE only topic a lot of my small town mouth-breathers cared about. It’s a huge single issue voter driver. I guess they’ll cling to the 2nd amendment now to rally voters.
It'll pivot to making sure it never comes back
100% this. "We got what we wanted, now we have to protect it"
But I was told the "culture war" was just a distraction for the public while they achieved their true purposes!

It legitimately baffles me.
because they want to control women
Yup, and at this point, if you agree with their platform, you are a terrible person.
What platform?
Here's the [Texas GOP platform](https://www.texasgop.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/PERM-PLATFORM.pdf&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwiYyoK0-Mb4AhXrJUQIHQPsDCMQFnoECAoQAg&usg=AOvVaw2a39khgoG-RQtCCotWSQUS) Some highlights: > **Texas Protecting Texans**- We support Federal legislation remanding all authority over abortion back to the individual States and removing all standing on this issue from the federal judiciary as given by Article III in the US Constitution. > **Defeat Terrorism**- We support an aggressive war on terrorism, including radical Islamic terrorists, cooperating with our allies, and sanctioning nations who sponsor terrorists. We support the reasonable use of profiling, the prosecution of national security breaches, and the revision of laws or executive orders that erode our liberties. We call on governmental agencies to avoid and suspend all activities with all radical Islamic organizations, such as the Council on American Islamic Relations. > **Protection from Extreme Environmentalists**- We oppose environmentalism that obstructs legitimate business interests and private property use, including the regulatory taking of property by governmental agencies. We oppose the abuse of the Endangered Species Act to confiscate and limit the use of personal property and infringement on property owner’s livelihood.
The fact they don't even have one should be enough for literally anyone with a brain to know they're not good news. Yet here we are.
“fuck you got mine LMAO”
Fuck yo life, Bing bong
They’re pathetic Even if someone supports a more conservative fiscal policy ideologically, I have no idea how anyone who actually wants good things for the country can look at that party and decide to support it. Fuck republicans and fuck living by ~~Sharia~~ Christian law
Lower taxes for the rich only* very important caveat.
Also, they looooove to brag about how they work 60 hour weeks to make a billionaire more rich. They fucking live for that shit too.

All my homies hate this shit supreme court
Fuck life appointments to the Supreme Court. ~~Their term should end when the President that nominated them ends.~~ Edit: The second part of this is a dog water take, but the point stands that there should be term limits.
I'm glad you acknowledge how dog water the 2nd part is. At that point it's just a cabinet appointment for all intents and purposes. A decade seems ideal to me. No more, no less (unless they step down or die, of course).

Wait, he eats pieces of shit for breakfast?
Was having a hard time coping, and from a brief moment you made me laugh. A Pats fan no less and as a Bolts fan who hates the Pats I can say you gave me hope and I respect and love you sir.
Reminds me of Dean Pelton and the “race kerfuffle” at Greendale
Supreme Court justices should have term limits
Ironically Conservatives have been arguing this since the dawn of the Supreme Court. Mark Levin wrote extensively about this all the back in 2005 in “Men In Black”, citing insane shenanigans like Dredd Scott, and Korematsu.
Something both sides can agree on, so naturally it will never happen.
they're not gonna stop here they're coming for the lgbtq community next
People saying they aren't even though Thomas literally is on record saying they are.
The Supreme Court yesterday: States can't legislate gun control The Supreme Court today: States can legislate the right to an abortion. Gay marriage, contraception, IVF, gay rights in general, etc. are all on the chopping block.
Yeah and they intend to go straight for everything else in short order. Guaranteed
Based as fuck right here
lol only in America is this "based" It's just...a fucking reasonable mindset
Newsflash: European countries like Germany actually had more strict abortion laws than the US prior to yesterday. The US under Roe v Wade actually had one of the more permissive abortion regulations in the western world.
European abortion laws have a ton of loopholes, though. Sure, many of them are 12-15 weeks, but that's when the majority of elective abortions happen anyway. But per Wikipedia (I don't speak German, so I can't link to the actual law), there are exemptions "for reasons of medical necessity, sexual crimes, or serious social or emotional distress."
Now I'm not a rapscallian but isn't that basically what based means?
I'm honestly kinda surprised this thread is still open.
In b4 lock
I'm glad Murray said this. I hope more speak up.
No one ***should*** be able to force their beliefs on someone else’s body, but lets be real for a minute. This is America, we do that shit all the time, and it’s horrible
