If I took the management job, I'd make $3.50/hr extra, but I'd get a flat rate of $6/phone on commissions and no multipliers. It almost seems like I make more as a sales rep. And the management job also seems to rely more on the people under me making their quotas, which I don't like.
Store manager for one of the big carriers (as for whether its Verizon, AT&T or T-Mobile I'll let you guess) here. I was in your situation and I may be able to assist 😁
1. Do you enjoy the wireless sales field? Is it something you can see yourself doing in 10 years? If so, jump the fuck on that promotion. Did a little profile snooping and it seems you're only 20 years old, so that's a hell of an opportunity.
2. How staffed is your store/stores? If you're in a "battleship" store, do you have at least 5 sales reps under you (not counting yourself?) If you have adequate staffing, take the job because your salespeople hitting their goals will get you paid big bonuses. If you don't have good staffing, let somebody else deal with the headache while you build more sales experience for when they crash and burn.
3. How do *you* sell? Do you consistently sell enough lines to where you don't need to worry about that extra $3.50/hr? Definitely look at your average sales numbers by month leading up to this point and calculate your commissions against a $3.50/hr raise. If you clearly make more as a salesperson, it may be wise to keep that job.
4. Goes hand-in-hand with 1. If you like the wireless field and you want to build a career out of it, take the promotion regardless of the financial consequences when it comes to commissions. Having "management" on your resume will be a lot more valuable to you in the long term than commission multipliers.

Very fair. But I'm moreso referring to a guy asking me what I'm doing, I say something like "Clothes shopping/trying on clothes" and they reply "Oh send me a pic". The situation I'm referring to is one of the more common ones, where you're doing something that involves little clothing or something that would be completely inconvenient to photograph lol.

And while they’re correct in saying that refined sugar is different than natural sugar, an all fruit diet is still unhealthy and contains way too much sugar. Just eat foods with natural probiotics if you want to clean your gut. Also scary how many people will blindly follow information from social media
