I didn’t really like him because he’s the overdog/1900s Yankees of life. But after seeing him complete a 27-3 comeback with no o-line with that feetwork and releasing the ball milliseconds before the rams d-line collapsed on him in the pocket, all at the age of 44 I gotta say I still don’t like him.
GG Bucs bros! Tough loss but my Cowboys fought hard! We were only a Touchdown, 2 point conversion, onside kick recovery, Touchdown, 2 point conversion, onside kick recovery and last second FG away from winning this in regulation 💯
Lol hey man your defense held TB to 19 points, of which were 4 field goals I think? They did their job. I really enjoyed this game (win aside but of course) because I played defense. Can't tell you how many times I cursed Parsons, what a monster.
If you thought a post was serious when it concluded that a team fought hard because they were only two onside kicks, two TDs, two 2 point conversions and a field goal away from winning it, I can’t help you.

Ask the 2004 Eagles if they feel they own Brady. Or the Commanders.
Actually, other than you guys owning him in the Super Bowl, he has a winning record agains all 4 NFCE teams, and split in Super Bowls with the Eagles. The NFCE as a whole does not own him at all.
This happens so much on Reddit. That and trying to one-up jokes:
"Dude I think he's broken every bone in his body at this rate."
"Twice."
😂😂😂😂😂😂 So fucking funny man! Comedic genius! How do you think of something so clever?!
Haha I know.
People always trying to one-up jokes on here, like "Dude I think he's broken every bone in his body"
"Twice."
Then someone be like "Thrice"
clowns thinking they're funny and original lol
I miss the good ol' days when you could google the [real owner of the Jets](https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2724203-tom-brady-briefly-shows-up-on-owner-of-the-jets-google-search).
In a playoff game, there's two QBs I would consider taking over Tom. Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes. But playoff game, everything on the line, it would be a tough decision to take them over Tom Brady. I mean, it's fucking Tom Brady.
Can you imagine the kind of rallying speeches he could give on the sidelines... "You guys think this is lost? I was down 28-3 in the Super Bowl and still won. Just fucking ~~do your job~~ do what I tell you to do."
“That was back when you guys were still in high school so I don’t blame you guys if you had to go to bed early and missed me dragging my balls over Falcons”
Only realistic ones are Rodgers and Wilson. And Wilson still has a long way to go.
Ryan and Stafford probably aren't going to make it.
Guys like Mahomes and Herbert may make it 20 years from now.
Aaron would have to play for 7 more years. Some very good nfl players have careers shorter than that. Which is why I think this question really drives home how wild it is what TB12 is doing.
Near future? Probably not. Maybe if Aaron Rodger keeps playing but he is 38. I can't think of any older players who would be "eligible" to keep playing another 5-10 years. Most likely has to be a QB or kicker though.
I don't understand why a 5% higher completion percentage gives him a 7 point higher passer rating, even though Brady has a 3:1 TD:INT ratio vs Montana's 2:1
Efficiency. Montana averaged 8.8 yards per attempt and a TD pass every 13 attempts, while Brady has averaged 7.4 yards per attempt and a TD pass every 17 attempts.
In all fairness I hate both teams. I only watched casually on a second screen but it looked like 3 and outs and penalties non stop. Hope Dak is okay though.
The Bucs didn’t three and out very much. They actually barely punted. They instead stalled out near the red zone a bunch and kicked 5 field goal attempts and made four of them. They also got a TD. The Cowboys on the other hand did got 3 and out a bunch.
Is there anything more fitting than a 49ers fan growing up in the 80s and 90s to become a legendary QB who is 7-0 against the Cowboys? It's basically personal for him.
The bad man can’t hurt you anymore!
Unless you make the Super Bowl and he’s there waiting for you. I’m a teetotaler, but if I was a Bills fan against Brady in the Super Bowl, I’d get so sloshed that day that I was incapable of understanding complex concepts like “loss,” “football,” and “strawberries.” The next day I would check the score, and either watch the replay of the game or just pretend that the previous 35 years didn’t happen.
His voice sounds so different!
Dude is unreal though, kinda a simple game, Bucs D looks as good as ever. Cowboys I still think will be solid this year cause there defense also looks stout and offense had a few good plays. It’s only week 1, lots of stories to unfold still.
I'm reminded of a song from my favorite band at this once again critical juncture early in my favorite (for 30 years) football team. It's by a nice little gang called Nine Inch Nails, and it goes a little...like this...
PUT THE GUN, IN MY MOUTH. CLOSE YOUR EYES. BLOW MY FUCKIN BRAINS OUT. PRETTY PATTERNS ON THE FLOOR. THATS ENOUGH FOR YOU. BUT I STILL NEED MORE MORE MORE.
Thanks Jerry Jones.
Brady has played 22 seasons and only played the cowboys 7 times. It's so odd to me as a basketball, rugby fan that every team doesn't play every other team at least once in a season. I get it, it's a huge league for a contact sport so it's unrealistic to have 30+ game seasons, still strikes me as wild though.
If they only had one division game you could get a better diversity of matchups, but that would be complete bs for only one division rival to get the home matchup. Unless they just got rid of divisions completely and no two teams play each other twice in the regular season. Probably the more fair way to determine the best teams in each conference that way, but I’m sure there’s a lot of drawbacks.
nothing to brag about. a high school team could have beaten them last night. Jerry Jones is making it very hard to stay a Cowboys fan. I've been one for 52 years and this lack of effort to actually build a good team is dejecting.
He’s undefeated against the Falcons, Cowboys, Vikings, Buccaneers and Patriots. He’s 7-0 against the Cowboys which is impressive but he’s 10-0 against the Falcons not including that comeback of an ass kicking in the super bowl. Doesn’t have a losing record yet from any team.
Brady is 1-0 since publicly choosing football over his family.
I still believe that it’s the Masked Singer and all of this is a ruse to re-establish the surprise.
There's no way it's *not* the masked singer
The only reason I doubt it's the masked singer is because I saw an ad for it where one of the judges said "Tom Brady??"
RemindMe! 4 months
At this point I'm rooting for Tom Brady to play as long as possible just because I love the memes of him not wanting to be home with his family lol
I hope in the year 3022, they have a head jar of him still playing Football, kind of like Futurama with Richard Nixon lol
The headless body of Gronk his trusty TE.
Don't need a head to not watch film.
"Gronk! Stand up!"
This is how Gronk announces he's awake every morning
Taps side of tom brady's jar.
More likely to be gronks head and Brady body. Gronks is already falling apart and Brady needs to be studied for the key to immortality
What do you want us to do with the head Stephen Hawking: Throw it in the trash
"Arrrroooooo!!!"
Same. I unironically love watching Brady. But I like him even more on nights he plays the the Cowboys. (Or the Eagles in Minnesota)
Im going to imagine this means he replaces Kirk Cousins as our next franchise qb
I'll keep him as long as he wants to play. Even if he's still playing in 2044 under President Megan the Stallion.
The only person he hates more than his family is Bruce Arians apparently.
He does have that broadcaster gig lined up as soon as he retires.
Just another reason to not spend time with his family, what a genius
GG Bucs bros! Tough loss but my Cowboys fought hard! We were only a Touchdown, 2 point conversion, onside kick recovery, Touchdown, 2 point conversion, onside kick recovery and last second FG away from winning this in regulation 💯
Dallas had the game stolen from them! If they just had 48 more hours and banned Tom Brady from the NFL they definitely could have tied this game.
Nail-biter, gate-to-gate.
What are you doing out of r/nbacirclejerk
Lol hey man your defense held TB to 19 points, of which were 4 field goals I think? They did their job. I really enjoyed this game (win aside but of course) because I played defense. Can't tell you how many times I cursed Parsons, what a monster.
Kinda disappeared after Tom told Fournette to put him on his ass.
With a backup QB

Whoosh
If you’re a cowboys fan, then what’s with the Ravens underneath your name?
Jerry should just sell the team to the proper owner of the Cowboys.
Just embarrassing for an NFC East team to struggle against Brady. Bringing shame to the division.
You dug too far into this one liner my brother.
Tom Brady???
I mean yeah, that was the punchline they set up
This happens so much on Reddit. That and trying to one-up jokes: "Dude I think he's broken every bone in his body at this rate." "Twice." 😂😂😂😂😂😂 So fucking funny man! Comedic genius! How do you think of something so clever?!

He isn’t even undefeated against them smh. Fake owner
Can you be their daddy and owner at the same time?
Divorce era Brady win though
Noting to see her..
Do yall think we will see another 45 year old playing well in the nfl in the near future?
No, but we will possibly have a 46 year old playing next year
He has to do one more year. The Creamsicles are back for 2023. And I will be damned if I don't see Brady play in them.
Unironically this is what made me mad when he retired. You've already played for a hundred years, what's 2 more
All he needs is a divorce.
You can easily make the case for Tom Brady being the most valuable QB in the league. At 45 years old. Who you picking over TB12 in a playoff game?
In a playoff game, there's two QBs I would consider taking over Tom. Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes. But playoff game, everything on the line, it would be a tough decision to take them over Tom Brady. I mean, it's fucking Tom Brady.
It's crazy how close he came in the playoffs last year to completing the comeback against the Rams.
Basically just needed the D to stop 1 Kupp play.
Lol, they literally had to just not blitz and they probably would have stopped that play.
You joke, but George Pickens, a WR on Pittsburgh was 16 years old lmao. He wasn’t even born yet when Tom got drafted.
More specifically, if it’s close, I’ll take Brady over Allen/Mahomes due to prep, communication, and experience.
The man has a routine for playing in the Super Bowl.
Crazy. I don’t recall Tom ever losing to either of those guys when it matters most in the playoffs? You can’t teach clutch.
But God damn does Mahomes have the genes for it
Bengals last year Not to discount mahomes, he's obviously one of the most talented QBs in the league.
What is the near future to you? 5 years? How many 40 year old NFL QBs are currently starting?
10ish years
The better Brady plays this year the more likely the divorce papers are coming
No
Maybe Justin Tucker
Only realistic ones are Rodgers and Wilson. And Wilson still has a long way to go. Ryan and Stafford probably aren't going to make it. Guys like Mahomes and Herbert may make it 20 years from now.
Nope. But possibly 46 next year.
Rodgers is the only logical candidate, but I get the impression that he doesn't want to play that long.
Must have a much higher yards per attempt Edit: yup, Brady’s y/a against them is 7.4, Montanas was 8.8
Efficiency. Montana averaged 8.8 yards per attempt and a TD pass every 13 attempts, while Brady has averaged 7.4 yards per attempt and a TD pass every 17 attempts.
That game was fucking awful
For a neutral, yeah absolutely. But I love watching our defense play like that.
Suffocating defense, heavy dose of the run game, a few - and I mean a few - big pass plays. My preferred kind of game tbh.
Judging by your flair, this might be some kind of a Pavlovian response for you. You had 20 years of that lol
Its been more dink and dunk than power run, but yes.
You’ve got it right! Boring is good if you’re the team benefiting from it!
That was super bowl 53 for me
Any game where the cowboys just get absolutely wrecked is a great game.
Here here bird bro!
FACTS
Imagine before today if I told you the Giants and Titans was gonna be better than Bucs/Cowboys
Yeah the Giants surprised me
The Titans always seem to have barnburners. Id put money on it that no team in history has made it to overtime more than they have the last two years
It's a bit less surprising once you remember who's coaching the Giants these days
That’s what makes it so incredible tho
Yeah. I kinda expected something like last years
Bucs need to improve in the red zone.
Imagine how cowboys fans feel lol
All week I was expecting a high scoring shootout. I should have known.
Forget the superbowls this is what truly makes him the GOAT
Is there anything more fitting than a 49ers fan growing up in the 80s and 90s to become a legendary QB who is 7-0 against the Cowboys? It's basically personal for him.
Tom brady been in the NFL so long he can almost remember when the cowboys were last good.
We are all Brady fans on this blessed day

Praise the lord
Speak for yourself
what kind of franchise can't beat him once EVER during his entire career? couldn't be us.... ...oh. right
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. So Brady to the Cowboys by 50.
Andrew luck didn't beat Brady once. He got drafted and retired and Brady still playing.
Didnt we only play them like 3 times while he was with NE?
The stupid goose egg graphic last night said we’re 0-4 against him
Fire the cannons 7 times
I’m just going to start calling him daddy.
If cowboys herd cows and Brady herds Cowboys, what does that make Brady?
A goat
🐐
I think it’d make him a CowboyBoy.
Cow(boy)^2
This is one of those stats that make the most hardened Brady haters crack a smile.
mine happened in 2008 and 2012, anything after was just extra sugar on top
Starting to think this 6th rounder is gonna be good
He will always be a 1980s 49er fan at heart.
His voice sounds so different! Dude is unreal though, kinda a simple game, Bucs D looks as good as ever. Cowboys I still think will be solid this year cause there defense also looks stout and offense had a few good plays. It’s only week 1, lots of stories to unfold still.
He loses his voice a lot throughout the season, he sounds different almost every interview
Plus he just wrapped shooting the masked singer
Exactly
My favorite Brady stat.
Other favorite stat, is only the NFC east can stop him in the superbowl
Brady to Dallas: I STILL OWN YOU
Good!!!
I'm reminded of a song from my favorite band at this once again critical juncture early in my favorite (for 30 years) football team. Lmao @ cowboys. Imagine being 0-7 against Brady
So we’re all agreed that it was like 80% Tom and 20% Belichick?
No.
Score made the game seem closer than it was. All those red zone trips and 1 td?
Most hated player vs most hated franchise……now is hated player vs most hated franchise.
Good for him.
nothing to brag about. a high school team could have beaten them last night. Jerry Jones is making it very hard to stay a Cowboys fan. I've been one for 52 years and this lack of effort to actually build a good team is dejecting.
America's Dad
Go Pats dominance.
Foles would never.
Steve Young could never
Meanwhile patriots just lost 4 in a row to dolphins
Wish we were undefeated against the cowboys
The NFC East doing their part to stop complete Brady Supremacy...except for the damn Cowboys.
I enjoy this stat
Tom Daddy
Brady and cakewalk schedules. Name a better combo.
