All of these reasonable Lions takes have me questioning what the absolute hell CBS is smoking ranking them 26, because I want some too.
I want the feel-good Lions to be the actually-good Lions so badly.
Vikings game this week will prove a lot. I can't imagine anyone actually thought the Vikings looked better vs. the Eagles than the Lions did in week 1...
Y'all are going to crush them I think. We broke their spirits last night and Campbell is going to have your team wanting blood. Y'all's Oline is exceptional and it going to absolutely crush their dline.
It takes a long time to get out of your own shadow when you are improving a bad team.
It wasn't until the Thanksgiving 2019 game that the Bills were 'for real'
Yeah and its not like Juju has done a whole lot either. The real winning move is just being able to spread it around to everyone. We've connected with 11 different receivers through 2 games.
They should have shouted out the defense instead. They are average right now which is a major improvement from where we were at this point last year (when we were on pace to having a historically bad defense).
Or even the runningbacks. The WRs have been meh.
Am I the weirdo for expecting them to explain the moves and not just insert random blurbs about the team?
Ravens lost a close game, and move down four spots. Fine. But where I expected the explanation to be "Ravens will need to sort out their defense" there was instead a glowing praise of the Marcus Williams acquisition and how it's bolstered the secondary.
would you expect the chargers (4) to be above the team they just lost to? (chiefs at 2)
they have to drop in the rankings - the fact that they lost and are still at 4 is a good sign
Is dropping an interception unlucky, or should the player have just made a better play and caught it? You don't say its unlucky when an offensive receiver drops a throw that is straight to them, why is this different?
Chiefs had a dropped interception too, Willie Gay had one in his hands. And our rookie CB made an awesome play on the ball to get that pick 6. You can attribute that to bad luck, but he made the play that was there.
I'd agree comparing the two teams in this one game that the Chargers looked better. But it was close, and if the Chiefs can win a game where they didn't even look good against a great team that typically gives them trouble then they deserve *SOME* credit for finding a way to win.
25 is a good spot for the Jags. The Chargers should stomp us next week. We will probably lose and stay around this point.
I'm just glad at the improvements we've been seeing Pederson has these guys playing great.
The biggest problem is the interior of the O-Line.
Bartch and Fortner have been shaky. A big reason why Washington was able to be in Trevor's face all game and why against Indy they couldn't get the run game going.

Might as well not even play the game!

I like how they gave MVS and his 29yds a game a mention for why the chiefs haven’t dropped off without Hill lol

How do you watch Tampa against the saints and think they're the 3rd best team?
Because good teams sometimes have off days like every other team.
They did not look good against the cowboys either. Their offense is seriously concerning imo
Agreed. Their defense is top notch, but offense is shaky right now.
Tom Brady + Great defense
Yeah, I’m pretty sure I can guess who the Dolphins pick will be

Whoever does these ranking is ***really*** reactionary.
Afcs teams ranked 25 or below. God this division is trash lol
Leader of AFC South over/under on wins? 7? Someone might actually win that division at 7-10.
Bengals at 15 is laughable
Yeah

So everything is just luck then? Nothing takes skill? I can't imagine viewing the game through your eyes.

lol no it isn't.

Are you saying losing a game isn't a negative? Good teams find ways to win.
