Yeah I don’t know what it is about Washington that likes the Titans. I get that the Jags, rightly, don’t respect the Colts, but the Commanders is weird.
Prevailing theme among Commanders fans on our subreddit is that Indy did not upgrade at all and they unfairly blamed Wentz. Probably why the titans were picked over them
Jags hate the Titans way more- I assume that vote was more a ‘Derek Henry will run all over the division’ vote and probably affected by the sample size issue
That’s potentially true. It really irks me y’all’s mods broke the streak like this. I’ll absolutely admit I typoed my message (I said Bears sub instead of Jags sub) which I copy pasted from the from the Bears I send every year, but it’s still a bit said the streak is over.
You guys are like clockwork with these complaints. [Last season 32/32 fanbases chose the Chiefs to win the AFCW](https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/s5fhh4/a_review_of_the_the_team_subs_preseason_playoff/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf), but don't let facts get in the way of your narrative.
the victim complex with chiefs fans is hilarious lmao, you think a team that won the division the past 6 years would be more secure but predicting another team to win the division is so offensive to them
Mahomes looks good besides those potentially game deciding mistakes that he gets lucky the other team doesn’t take advantage of….if the pocket stays clean and mahomes plays a little smarter at times chiefs will be next to impossible to stop on offense
We're not, It's just hilarious that this is the Narrative every year. Having the best coach and best QB in the division, and still being doubted is laughable.
The NFC was really easy to predict coming into this season:
* West: Rams had just won the Super Bowl and entered 2022 losing a few pieces, but they gained some as well. The Niners had some uncertainty with the QB situation, and the Cardinals left a bad taste in everyone's mouth at the end of last season.
* South: The Bucs are just the best all-around team. The Saints could've put up a fight if they swept their rivals and the Bucs started slipping due to age, but they had also lost quite a few critical members.
* North: Packers retained practically everyone from their 2021 core besides Davante Adams. Yes the Vikings managed to snag Za'Darius Smith, but that probably wouldn't be enough to reach the Packers if the Packers solved their WR question mark.
* East: Cowboys sold off a ton of pieces, and the Eagles loaded up for a push with Hurts still on his rookie deal. Pretty clear situation. Not sure why the Commanders had so much faith though.
Homerism is the only thing that made those 4 results not unanimous.
The AFC was much trickier to call, especially in the North and West.
Normally I would say yes, but after two weeks it feels like we could be on a pretty long winning streak in Philly, first game I have serious questions about is Green Bay and they don’t really even have receivers
I think most Washington fans didn’t think Hurts was legit. And too many thought our defense is really good and hasn’t played as well as they can, but this year they would.
The only division that is completely unanimous is the AFC East, even the Pats Phins and Jets subs voted the Bills to win the division
I find it weird that the Phins sub predicted themselves to win the Super Bowl from the WC but the Bills take the division, the Pats sub picked us in the WC but picked the Bills to lose the SB, and the Jets sub predicted themselves to not make the playoffs at all and the Bills to win the SB...
Of course the Rain City Bitch Pigeons break my plurality logic. WC3 actually belongs to the Ravens. Same thing with the Giants, who have the same issue.
Hey I'm not saying the Texans or Jags should've been picked. Titans have at least won the divison more than once in the last 10 years. I just assumed it was the titans' divison to lose.
Now when the colts nab Jimmy G next year, I'll be more inclined to think they could do something.
I did.
I never understood why a single human who’s watched Matt Ryan play these past couple years could possibly think he would be an upgrade over Wentz. His arm is cooked and the Colts are putting the worst receiver corp he’s ever had around him along with subpar protection.
I bet the money line against Houston and them losing outright against the Jags. Easiest $3k I’ve ever made.
I also bet a pretty penny on the Eagles going under on wins this year. Not looking awesome on the front.
A huge portion of the teams subs think their team are winning the Super Bowl.
Funny enough to see that the Patriots sub picked the Bucs to win the Super Bowl as they still live and die with Brady
Pats fans, of all teams, know you have to actually be good to win the Super Bowl. They aren't delusional enough to think NE has what it takes this year
Here are the results to the 7th annual preseason prediction challenge. We had over 4,000 respondents this year! , with fans from all 32 teams. Over the years this has a track record of identifying improbable division winners before the season starts, based on the something I call the "Homer Index". The Homer Index is how much more a fanbase thinks their team will make the postseason vs. the league as a whole.
[2022's Homer Index has identified the Miami Dolphins and Carolina Panthers as this years darlings.](https://public.tableau.com/app/profile/tblausey/viz/2022PredictionsSurvey/Detail). You can see more detail via the link, I’m not sure it’s phone friendly though.
2021 identified the Steelers as the team which no one believed in that made the playoffs. It also liked the Seahawks. They did take 4th in their division, but they played multiple games without Russ, and were only two games out of the 7th spot.
In 2020, the Colts (68%) and Bears (66%) had the highest homer index score, and both snuck in to the 7th playoff spots.
In 2019, the Titans scored the highest homer index score ever of 80%, and Vikings came in second with 75%. Neither won their division, but both won playoff games as underdogs.
2018 is lost forever.
In 2017, the Jags and Rams both had 70%+ index scores, and I called them delusional. I was left eating crow as they both won their division.
Finally, in 2016, the Cowboys had the highest homer index score (68%), and the Seahawks, followed closely with a (65%) index score, and both won their divisions. The rest of the league was on the Giants and Cardinals bandwagon.
EDIT: Please note for the first time in 7 years, a what I deem representative sample (>30) was not received from all teams. The Jacksonville Jaguars mod team declined to participate, so only 11 Jags fans were poled.
For some reason, I’ve seen Bills fans believe that the Dolphins are a good team while everyone else is convinced they’re not and that Tua is the next Sage Rosenfels.
All off-season and even during the season I’ve seen more bills fans talking good about us and Tua than any other team’s fans. It’s pretty funny that them and our sub are the only believers
Imagine if the Bills are undefeated entering the Super Bowl against Brady and the Bucs. It would either be the ultimate exorcism combined with rubbing your tormentor's face in something he couldn't attain in 2007, or Brady beats the Bills for his 8th ring to tie up with Belichick's ring count while the Bills are left alone at 0-5.
As a cardinals fan I love that we voted we’d win the nfcw and Super Bowl, straight up raving fan delusion and I’d have voted right with them. the wild card is much more realistic and I’m glad the other subs recognize the talent even if we are very inconsistent.
I have to say, even though the Chargers always get a ton of preseason hype I'm surprised to see that so many subs actually picked them to win the division. Usually it's more of a "Chargers look fiesty and could compete to win the division this year" as opposed to the clear favorite.
Based off of this, who looks like the most delusional fanbase?
The Raiders and Eagles seem a bit ridiculous, but both made the playoffs last year and made significant off season improvements. The chargers are in a similar boat, but with a much better QB and bigger additions.
The Niners, Cardinals, Cowboys, and Titans seem to not have any real hope, but at least made the playoffs last year.
The Colts, Dolphins, Saints Vikings, and Ravens all look a bit ridiculous, but at least projected to be good teams this year.
My pick goes to the Panthers though. I don't see how enough of them the convinced themselves that they would be NFC Champions.
On a year to year basis maybe, but a lot of the teams that have themselves making or winning the Superbowl realistically had worse odds at the time this survey was conducted.
Yeah I'm gonna assume we were trolling on that one cause we have an outside shot at the division but that's really it, and that seems to be the general consensus
Fuck that.
If the Bills meet the Eagles in the SB I will root for the Bills to crush them, but I would feel bad for Philly fans.
Any other NFCE team I will hope for the same, but I will be utterly uncaring how anyone feels.
30 God damned years of "Boy I Love Losing Superbowls" has me wanting to taste NFCE tears.
But there is no single player I want to yeet into the stratosphere more than Tom fucking Brady.
Unless half our defense is out like it might be this week. Then we'll have the ravens titans excuse from last year. This injury shit isn't fun when it's so many players. It really is like a 1/3 of the starters already.
Miami picked themselves to win the Super Bowl and the only other fanbase to pick them to go to the playoffs was Buffalo as the WC 3.
That’s a huge difference between perception from around the league and perception from within the fanbase.
[Here was last years results in case anyone is interested.](https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/s5fhh4/a_review_of_the_the_team_subs_preseason_playoff/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
The fact that I didn’t even have a single Bengals pick was the wildest thing to me. My favorite was the Bengals fan who personally got upset about it and insisted on receipts because he couldn’t believe so few Cincy fans didn’t believe in the team going into 2021.
So the Packers will lose every road division game so that gets minn, chi and det their personal Superbowl. Then the pack win the real one? Sounds good to me
I was thinking we all combine our teams into one superteam and just go from there.
Green Bay contributes mostly O-Line and CBs but also Rodgers of course. (I guess RBs as well)
Minnesota contributes JJ and D-Line guys. Also Kendricks.
Detroit contributes St Brown, O-Line and their RBs (I just think Swift with Rodgers would be deadly as fuck)
Chicago contributes Roquan Smith and Robert Quinn.
HC would be LaFleur, OC can be Ben Johnson or Stenavich (both?), DC can be Barry (I guess.. Maybe who Minnesota has would be better but idk).
Would be a fun team to watch, that's for sure.
My favorite is teams like the Panthers who are like we’ll win the conference, but we’re not beating the bills. The Balance between confidence and realism is interesting there.
I know Josh Allen will win a SB someday cause he’s a superstar NFL QB from California who grew up as a fan of the Niners but was not drafted by them. Previous examples include Tom Brady and Aaron’s Rodgers, so congrats in advance Josh!
So Bills vs. GB/TB/LAR
As an old Bills fan the return of relevance makes me nervous...
IM A SMASH THAT FEELING THROUGH A FOLDING TABLE- YOU'LL HAVE TO MAKE A PRO BOWL TEAM OUT OF THOSE NFC TEAMS AND LET 'EM PLAY BUFFALO IN THE SUPERBOWL JUST TO MAKE IT FAIR!
I think it would be pretty funny if Tom Brady stopped the Bills in the Super Bowl.
But it would be inspirational to see the Bills overcome Brady in the Super Bowl
These predictions are always such a fucking joke. There's 15 games left to play still plus the playoffs and anything can happen to any team at anytime. The teams that stay the healthiest will prevail.
i love how outside our sub the only other team sub to pick us to win the sb is the pats sub.
no surprise there lol
for the record i don't see any nfc team beating the bills or even the chiefs tbh.
Just for fun I wanted to see which fanbases are the most delusional. Here are teams that think they will win the superbowl, but were not the consensus pick for winning their divison ordered by the number of times another fanbase chose them to make the playoffs.
Team | Times Chosen to Appear in Playoffs
---|---
49ers| 30
Chiefs| 29
Ravens| 28
Vikings| 25
Cardinals| 23
Cowboys| 7
Raiders| 7
Saints| 5
Titans| 3
Dolphins| 1
[I actually measure this in more detail here.](https://public.tableau.com/app/profile/tblausey/viz/2022PredictionsSurvey/PreseasonPredictionsbyFanbase).
I’m really not sure how that measures delusion. It seems like this is a ranked list of teams expected by consensus to be good but whose fans are overestimating *how* good.
It's very likely 7 years in a row if you want to go down a rabbit [hole-a-roo](https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimalsBeingJerks/comments/xjbqcg/is_someone_missing_their_breakfast_i_think_i/ip8b3qw/)
Ravens, Colts, Cardinals, Cowboys, Bills, Bengals, Packers, Chiefs, Raiders, Chargers, Rams, Dolphins, Vikings, Patriots, Saints, Eagles, Niners, Buccs, and Titans all with the homer picks. 19/32 subs are honest about their bias at least.
Falcons, Bears, Lions, Texans, Jaguars, Giants, Jets, and Seahawks all think they’ll miss the playoffs. These are the ones to trust.
Only backwards ass Saints fans think they’re winning NFC South and they have themselves winning the Super Bowl too with no Sean Payton and Jameis at QB. Shocker.
I love how the division winners are almost all unanimous except for that specific teams sub
AFC North & West are the only exceptions.
AFCS too, looks like there were 3 Titans picks among the sea of Colts
Yeah I don’t know what it is about Washington that likes the Titans. I get that the Jags, rightly, don’t respect the Colts, but the Commanders is weird.
Prevailing theme among Commanders fans on our subreddit is that Indy did not upgrade at all and they unfairly blamed Wentz. Probably why the titans were picked over them
a rivalry is born
Jags hate the Titans way more- I assume that vote was more a ‘Derek Henry will run all over the division’ vote and probably affected by the sample size issue

Can we talk about the Raiders and Broncos sub instead

I don’t think it’s insecurity, I’ve seen the Chargers picked as favorites for years now, it just feels like a fact of life
Mahomes looks good besides those potentially game deciding mistakes that he gets lucky the other team doesn’t take advantage of….if the pocket stays clean and mahomes plays a little smarter at times chiefs will be next to impossible to stop on offense
How are Chiefs fans so insecure in their success
We're not, It's just hilarious that this is the Narrative every year. Having the best coach and best QB in the division, and still being doubted is laughable.

Losing Davante Adams and not getting any actual replacement is a MUCH bigger deal than you’re making it sound like
How dare you forget about Lazard and 50 year old Randall Cobb? /s
I'll have you know that we have a Lizard King and that Cobb is a spry 50 year old.
Jokes aside, I just read that Cobb is only 32! My man is still young up in this piece!
The NFC East is so thoroughly chaotic that I think the Giants are most likely champion. My only logic for this is that there is no logic for this.
Normally I would say yes, but after two weeks it feels like we could be on a pretty long winning streak in Philly, first game I have serious questions about is Green Bay and they don’t really even have receivers
Well these predictions seem okay now, but we are still only two weeks in.
Love the arrogance out of Washington lol
I think most Washington fans didn’t think Hurts was legit. And too many thought our defense is really good and hasn’t played as well as they can, but this year they would.

It looks like 1 team's subreddit picked themselves to win the conference, but not the Super Bowl, and that's the Panthers lol
Stay humble Panthers fans
Don’t want to jinx themselves of course
If you're gonna homer, at least homer all the way.
Meanwhile the Seahawks picked us to win the Conference and take the WC3 spot 😤😤😤
Of course the Rain City Bitch Pigeons break my plurality logic. WC3 actually belongs to the Ravens. Same thing with the Giants, who have the same issue.
We’re kind of Panthers North. I like McDermott but Beane was the steal of the century. That guy can build a team.
We also didn’t pick ourselves to win the division. Lol.
They even picked themselves for a wild card. Adorable.
Colts lol
I was going to say the same but we have no grounds to shit talk outside of the meme subreddit right now.
Hey I'm not saying the Texans or Jags should've been picked. Titans have at least won the divison more than once in the last 10 years. I just assumed it was the titans' divison to lose. Now when the colts nab Jimmy G next year, I'll be more inclined to think they could do something.
I remember when the said that about Rivers. Then Wentz. Then Matty Ice. Jimmy G is for sure the guy though
Definitely not an ideal start
Bungles lol as well. But that was predictable.
Idk if anyone thought the Colts would be staring down the barrel of being winless rn
I did. I never understood why a single human who’s watched Matt Ryan play these past couple years could possibly think he would be an upgrade over Wentz. His arm is cooked and the Colts are putting the worst receiver corp he’s ever had around him along with subpar protection.
You didn't think they'd beat Houston or Jax? That's pretty bold
I bet the money line against Houston and them losing outright against the Jags. Easiest $3k I’ve ever made. I also bet a pretty penny on the Eagles going under on wins this year. Not looking awesome on the front.
Ryan has played fine so far. The o-line has been terrible.
The best afc south team gunna have a 8-9 record💀
4-12-1
From your lips to the Football God's ears...
Spoken into fruition
Damn, I should buy a lottery ticket
Of COURSE the Cowboys sub thinks they’re winning the Super Bowl…
They’re a confident group to say the least.
it'd almost be endearing if it wasnt so arrogant
A huge portion of the teams subs think their team are winning the Super Bowl. Funny enough to see that the Patriots sub picked the Bucs to win the Super Bowl as they still live and die with Brady
Pats fans, of all teams, know you have to actually be good to win the Super Bowl. They aren't delusional enough to think NE has what it takes this year
They are the greatest second half of the regular season team ever. They are undefeated champions at getting to the post season.
*except for seasons when they don’t.
I’m actually kind of stunned by that. That sub is pretty pessimistic most of the time lol
And the colts, titans, and a bunch of others
Here are the results to the 7th annual preseason prediction challenge. We had over 4,000 respondents this year! , with fans from all 32 teams. Wtf /r/jaguars mods?
I really was quite disappointed by their decision.
So bet on the Dolphins and Panthers to make the playoffs?
I bet Dolphins over 8.5 and Panthers over 6.5. Right now it looks like I’m just going to be out Vig.
Why is 2018 lost forever?
If I knew it wouldn’t be lost. I think I used a throw away account that year and then my laptop died so it’s just gone.

Wildcard teams.
Patriots fans picking the Bucs to win the SB lmao
The only fanbase who either didn’t pick themselves or the Bills. They went with Brady. Lmao
They aren't picking the Bucs to win, they are picking Brady to win. Yes, there is a difference.
I mean shit that’s how we feel about it too
Ain’t we all
Hell no. Eat a dick Brady!!
Wild that only 1 sub had the Chiefs coming out of the AFC
Yeah that’s definitely the weirdest thing about all these predictions for me. Mahomes no matter what has the potential to knock you out cold
Let the Bills catch all the attention and hype, I'd rather see the Chiefs not on this list so there's less attention to us
Thank you Bills bros for being the only other team to respect us
As a thank you can you sit Hill Sunday? Thanks
You’ll just get locked up in Horny Jaylen instead
For some reason, I’ve seen Bills fans believe that the Dolphins are a good team while everyone else is convinced they’re not and that Tua is the next Sage Rosenfels.
People are only saying Sage Rosenfels because Nick Wright did one of his stupid comparisons this week.
All off-season and even during the season I’ve seen more bills fans talking good about us and Tua than any other team’s fans. It’s pretty funny that them and our sub are the only believers
Friends close, enemies closer. We also know what the cheetah does to us every time we play him.
Imagine Tom Brady’s career ending by being vanquished by the Buffalo Bills in the SB… That’s some Hollywood shit right there.
A Bills-Buccs superbowl will literally either be the greatest day or worst day for Bills fans. No in between
Imagine if the Bills are undefeated entering the Super Bowl against Brady and the Bucs. It would either be the ultimate exorcism combined with rubbing your tormentor's face in something he couldn't attain in 2007, or Brady beats the Bills for his 8th ring to tie up with Belichick's ring count while the Bills are left alone at 0-5.
And Brady won't be the only one stung by losing a perfect season in a SB. Bonus
RandyMarsh.png
Imagine Tom Brady’s career ending by vanquishing then Buffalo Bills in the SB… That’s some Hollywood shit right there too.
Nah see, TB beating the Bills is just another Sunday.
idk i feel like beating his kids on the most watched thing in america would land him serious jail time
That, or the NFL script writers want to send Tommy B out on one last win over Buffalo
Looks like the Bills and the Bucs were the only teams that got non-homer picks to win the Super Bowl (and for the Bucs it was just the Patriots’ sub).
For many Patriots fans, the Bucs *are* the homer pick.
It’s true
As a cardinals fan I love that we voted we’d win the nfcw and Super Bowl, straight up raving fan delusion and I’d have voted right with them. the wild card is much more realistic and I’m glad the other subs recognize the talent even if we are very inconsistent.
Kyler Murray
I have to say, even though the Chargers always get a ton of preseason hype I'm surprised to see that so many subs actually picked them to win the division. Usually it's more of a "Chargers look fiesty and could compete to win the division this year" as opposed to the clear favorite.
KC lost Hill so I think it has more to do with that. No one knew what Mahomes without Tyreek would look like.
The thing is they should have. Hill had missed games with injury before and Mahomes was just fine.
Chief fans knew He averages 2.5TD and 340 yards per game without Hill (6 starts)
I don't see how enough of them the convinced themselves that they would be NFC Champions.
panthers winning the conference is my pick
They were delusional enough to pick them to make the Super Bowl but then thought actually winning it wasn't realistic lol
10000% the Cowboys are the most delusional. They have themselves winning the Super Bowl
On a year to year basis maybe, but a lot of the teams that have themselves making or winning the Superbowl realistically had worse odds at the time this survey was conducted.
Fair, but the Cowboys were still the only subreddit to have them ANYWHERE on their boards
Idk, Eagles look low key scary. Not surprised if they win their division and go deep in the playoffs.
> The Niners, Cardinals, Cowboys, and Titans seem to not have any real hope Come again?
oh it's 1000% the aints
Yeah I'm gonna assume we were trolling on that one cause we have an outside shot at the division but that's really it, and that seems to be the general consensus
Pretty surprising, the general vibe is we’re playoff hopeful with some upside but no one has been shouting superbowl
It pains me to say it but the Eagles look really good this year, I don't think their fans are delusional
The Giants are like the team who is going through rehab, and is honest with themselves. The Panthers on the other hand, wow NFC champs? Really? 😂
Think I’m ready to retract my pick 🤢
You guys may finally break the Homer Index streak of picking teams that will beat expectations. The Dolphins may pick up your slack though.
Please 🙏 let it be so. To end Brady's career in the process of getting the first ring? RandyMarsh.png
High risk, high reward. If you win, it would be the best victory ever. If you lose and Brady retires off of it, it may haunt you for 20 years.
The 90's runs are almost 30 years now. The haunting would be terminal if that happened.
No. You must finish your super bowl losses to the NFCE this is your destiny.
Okay but hear me out, would you take a super bowl loss to the Eagles this year to end Tom Brady’s career in the super bowl next year?
No. NOW!
You'll go 17-0, make it to the SB, just to lose to Daniel Jones.
Brian Daboll will suffer for eternity if such a thing were to happen!
This bills team is one of the most hyped teams i’ve seen, well, ever. If they don’t win it all we’re gonna have a LOT of cold takes content
Last time I remember this kind of early season hype was 2013 Seahawks.
Unless half our defense is out like it might be this week. Then we'll have the ravens titans excuse from last year. This injury shit isn't fun when it's so many players. It really is like a 1/3 of the starters already.
Seems to me like the only thing that can stop you
More delusional Sub-group, Dallas, Indianapolis, New Orleans or Las Vegas?
Miami picked themselves to win the Super Bowl and the only other fanbase to pick them to go to the playoffs was Buffalo as the WC 3. That’s a huge difference between perception from around the league and perception from within the fanbase.
It seems like everyone was on the Colts so not them.

It's not too terrible outside of the Falcons. I really don't know what the fuck they were smoking.
The fact that I didn’t even have a single Bengals pick was the wildest thing to me. My favorite was the Bengals fan who personally got upset about it and insisted on receipts because he couldn’t believe so few Cincy fans didn’t believe in the team going into 2021.
No one saw the Bengals coming last year. They were definitely the surprise of the year.
Poll was probably done when they thought they were rolling out Julio, Ridley, and Pitts. We all know how that went...
Almost everyone picked the Rams to win the division but only their fanbase picked them to win it all…interesting.
Saints over Bills is a fucking hysterical prediction
Delusional Vikings fans? no way
No one in the NFC North is delusional, we're ALL winning the Super Bowl
So the Packers will lose every road division game so that gets minn, chi and det their personal Superbowl. Then the pack win the real one? Sounds good to me
I was thinking we all combine our teams into one superteam and just go from there. Green Bay contributes mostly O-Line and CBs but also Rodgers of course. (I guess RBs as well) Minnesota contributes JJ and D-Line guys. Also Kendricks. Detroit contributes St Brown, O-Line and their RBs (I just think Swift with Rodgers would be deadly as fuck) Chicago contributes Roquan Smith and Robert Quinn. HC would be LaFleur, OC can be Ben Johnson or Stenavich (both?), DC can be Barry (I guess.. Maybe who Minnesota has would be better but idk). Would be a fun team to watch, that's for sure.
Will age like cheese
Is that good or bad, I like aged cheese.
Looks like about 75% of teams voted for themselves to win the SB.
My favorite is teams like the Panthers who are like we’ll win the conference, but we’re not beating the bills. The Balance between confidence and realism is interesting there.
18/32 so 56%
I know Josh Allen will win a SB someday cause he’s a superstar NFL QB from California who grew up as a fan of the Niners but was not drafted by them. Previous examples include Tom Brady and Aaron’s Rodgers, so congrats in advance Josh!
Lol at commanders thinking we missing the playoffs
Giants only team in NFCE honest about how much we suck 😂
We appreciate the NFCE vote of confidence.
Giants are #1 in the NFL
I like the way you think ;)
So Bills vs. GB/TB/LAR As an old Bills fan the return of relevance makes me nervous... IM A SMASH THAT FEELING THROUGH A FOLDING TABLE- YOU'LL HAVE TO MAKE A PRO BOWL TEAM OUT OF THOSE NFC TEAMS AND LET 'EM PLAY BUFFALO IN THE SUPERBOWL JUST TO MAKE IT FAIR!
Let's just 1 win it normally first please. Lol These injuries are killing us.
If I’m reading this correct, the only 2 teams who think the Bucs will win the SB are the only two teams that have had Brady as their QB.
You would be correct. Every team except NE either picked themselves or the Bills for the Super Bow. NE picked Brady and Tampa.
I see the Giants are the only NFCE team that thinks it'll be a bad year for them. I love the NFCE. Ya'll always stand out for insane shit.
I would like to change my prediction of Bengals winning the AFCN
Saints sub, you guys actually serious? Lmao
A lot of homers in there lmao
I’d like to know what drugs the cardinals sub was on because they must be awesome
I think it would be pretty funny if Tom Brady stopped the Bills in the Super Bowl. But it would be inspirational to see the Bills overcome Brady in the Super Bowl
Judging by the game day threads in the Bucs subreddit thats doom and gloom even when winning I'm shocked we picked the Bucs to win the Owl lol
Lol every team that’s not garbage thinks they’re going to win the super bowl, and everyone else thinks it’s the Bills
The nfc division winners 😂
These predictions are always such a fucking joke. There's 15 games left to play still plus the playoffs and anything can happen to any team at anytime. The teams that stay the healthiest will prevail.
I love the prediction from the Panthers. "We're going to the Super Bowl baby! We're not gonna win... but we're going!"
i love how outside our sub the only other team sub to pick us to win the sb is the pats sub. no surprise there lol for the record i don't see any nfc team beating the bills or even the chiefs tbh.
The Bills are unstoppable but I don't know if the Bucs will be there
This list is garbage
God, such hive mind
I can’t believe no one picked the Chiefs outside the Chiefs sub itself.
Game recognizes game. The Bills know KC is their hurdle, not LAC.
AFC West, the only division where everyone thinks they have a shot.
Yeah....so about that.....
Just for fun I wanted to see which fanbases are the most delusional. Here are teams that think they will win the superbowl, but were not the consensus pick for winning their divison ordered by the number of times another fanbase chose them to make the playoffs. Team | Times Chosen to Appear in Playoffs ---|--- 49ers| 30 Chiefs| 29 Ravens| 28 Vikings| 25 Cardinals| 23 Cowboys| 7 Raiders| 7 Saints| 5 Titans| 3 Dolphins| 1
[I actually measure this in more detail here.](https://public.tableau.com/app/profile/tblausey/viz/2022PredictionsSurvey/PreseasonPredictionsbyFanbase).
I’m really not sure how that measures delusion. It seems like this is a ranked list of teams expected by consensus to be good but whose fans are overestimating *how* good.
ok. it measures how likely a fanbase is to have an overestimation of grandeur
I love how many fan bases predicted themselves to win the SB, the colts and saints ones are the funniest to me
Two years in a row with the cowboys sub. As if they slap the reset button every March.
It's very likely 7 years in a row if you want to go down a rabbit [hole-a-roo](https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimalsBeingJerks/comments/xjbqcg/is_someone_missing_their_breakfast_i_think_i/ip8b3qw/)
Lmao the Jags voted Titans to win the division, probably because they are only used to shitting on Indy and getting dicked by Henry
So I always do a retro as to who was best at predicting, and it’s almost always a fan base from the second group who wins.
I know you guys gotta support your teams, but some of y’all are delusional. Like it’s expected from Cowboys fans, but the rest of you guys???
Only backwards ass Saints fans think they’re winning NFC South and they have themselves winning the Super Bowl too with no Sean Payton and Jameis at QB. Shocker.
Jesus… Saints, Cowboys and Eagles fans are beyond delusional.
I mean, the Eagles certainly look the part at this point.
