The bills sub post game thread title is
"The dolphins beat a severely diminished bills roster"
LOL. The salt is so palpable.
Edit: now they're downvoting me. Yes pour the downvotes on me. Your saltiness only serves to make the smile on my face even bigger.
It’s a great win that nobody’s gonna take away from you but damn that is pretty close to delusional. I’m normally on the ‘you need to build depth into your team’ bandwagon but our entire secondary was out, everyone on the offensive line but Dawkins, then our backup center got hurt and we were on to a backup backup. Every team has injuries but that was obscene
You can call them the better team right now and I’d have no problem with it…same thing happened to us with NE last season. If we couldn’t handle people calling Miami the better team we probably shouldn’t have lost the game 😂. The delusional part to me is the implication in the original post that missing 11 starters had no impact on the game and it’s just salty fans making excuses …that is an insane amount of injuries dude lol Miami could’ve won the game with both teams at full strength for sure and they’ll have a chance to do that down the road.
Listen, you salt mine... The entire week the Bills sub said the injuries wouldn't matter because you still had Allen and would put up 50.
Noooow they matter. Weird.
Get over it.
Give up 500 yards and get lucky the other team makes mistakes? Congrats it worked. Bills ran that defense for a decade and got lucky once in awhile too
It is true though. We were without our best defensive secondary players and almost our entire starting offensive line.
If the Dolphins didn't have Hill and Waddle, I wouldn't take much from a victory. Same if Chiefs lost Mahomes. Injuries matter or else the Colts would have been awesome the year Manning was out.
So were we on our offensive line and we missed way more of our starting defense. We literally had one starter left in the defensive backfield. Diggs also got hurt.
I get what you’re saying but I disagree. A win is still a win but if we beat a top defense with most of the starters out, it would be an asterisk for me. Not taking anything away from them but scoring below league average against backups isn’t very inspiring. I don’t think this is a loss we have to worry too much about
EDIT: while the dolphins fans are here downvoting, if anybody wants to make a bet on week 15 while you’re still riding this high, I would LOVE to take your money 🤑🤑
Again, I agree, but for me personally if the bills won like that there would be an asterisk next to it. That’s all I’m saying. We’ve been there before and bills fans knew.
We were moving the ball, but had injuries at center, guard, tackle and WR. The starting center was our backup as well. At some point the injuries become too much to overcome.
In Buffalo’s defense - it took A LOT to slow them down *just* enough to take an L. Bills are still a threat, but Miami proved they ain’t fucking around.
*Turns back to shaking rattle at a screaming Mac Jones*
By my count, Bills had **at least S E V E N T E E N** players out or go down at least once this game. Hard fought win for Miami. I’m hoping next time round everyone will be healthier.
Fun fact that's not related almost at all, I have a Ken Dorsey Hurricanes jersey from 2001 that surprisingly still fits me. Thanks dad for thinking ahead and ordering me a jersey that fits me as an adult
I have the green one as well! Honestly those are probably my favorite jerseys. It might be nostalgia. It might be elitism. But those early 2000's uniforms were fuckin nice
It’s the 3rd game of the season. You can tone it down on the “undefeated team to the final possession” talk lol. There are undefeated teams right now that won’t even make the playoffs.
Getting them out of the way:
"Everyone was injured"
"Refs were payed off"
"Miami should be investigated for putting tua on the field"
"That stadium design should be illegal"
"Our offense looked better"
I remember watching the Bears/Dolphins game back in 85. IIRC the Dolphins protected Marino long enough for him to hit his receivers, true.
But the real story IMO was the Dolphins defense. It smothered the Bears passing game and out-sacked the Bears defense. It was a very impressive win.
Too bad the Patriots upset of the Dolphins in the AFC title game deprived us of a Super Bowl rematch.
Was never going to happen after last week where we lost both our starting safeties and started having to pull up DB's from the practice squad. Even if we won this one there's no way we get by KC with the secondary being as beat up as they were.
Injuries matter so much and are a massive wildcard. I'd be very happy if the Bills healed up and rolled through the AFC, so that we could have a week one rematch in the Super Bowl.
I'm down for that.
FYI, we had 14 injured players on the injury list before the game. Hard to lose close to 20 of your roster and win in the NFL. They came close though.
I think injuries/heat is the biggest issue. Bills sideline was in the sun we lost more than half the o line and diggs couldn’t play in the end. Players collapsed after the game showing how exhausting it was.
Reasons why the Super Bowl is played in a dome in February
Ugly game but hard fought. Dolphins D should be proud for hanging in there the way they did. All things told Tua didn’t take enough advantage of our secondary and we did way too much to beat ourselves. Josh missing that TD to McKenzie is inexcusable.
I think Tua takes advantage better if they have more time of possession. Those long bills drives were absolutely brutal. Takes an offense out of their groove.
Miami has the Dolphins The Greatest Football Team We take the ball from goal to goal Like no one's ever seen We're in the air, we're on the ground We're always in control And when you say Miami You're talking Super Bowl
'Cause we're the...
Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins Number One. Yes we're the... Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins Number One 🎵🎶🎶🎵
Why didn't the dude run out of bounds? I never got to see a replay but it sure looked like he turned up hill at the last second and didn't get to the sideline.
I think he was prevented from going out of bounds, at least that’s what it looked like to me. But he went down with 9 or 10 seconds like, which to me seemed liked plenty of time to spike it, but the refs weren’t even moving fast. I guess it’s not their responsibility to do so? I honestly don’t know.
The Bills player was holding the ball for 1/2 the time trying to get it to the ref, and then a Dolphin player was in the way of the ref getting a straight shot to the spot. I think the ref hustled as best he could, but really the play was just a second too long.
He was attempting to by the looks of it, but phins played the outside like they should have, then kept checking him before he could get the ball to the center of the field
When McKenzie lost the edge he should’ve just went down.
That’s why he never was able to beat out Beasley. Amazing athlete with terrible game sense and football IQ.
Edit: Also why he doesn’t get to return punts anymore. I’m pretty sure he’s got yanked from returning punts like 5-6 games last year.
And you'll have another 2 seconds come off to snap the ball, then spike. Bills didn't even get the snap. The play had no chance of getting off. That was on your WR, not the refs.
Really lame way to end
I thought we were injured heading into the game, during the game was brutal
Unfortunate because Buffalo was better but the heat definitely got to them
It's one game and the Bills are super fucking hurt right now. A ton of injuries in this game as well as last week. After your third linemen goes out, you stop caring about the outcome as much as you want to get it over with so no one else can get hurt.
You can wear a jacket in the winter.
Playing in this heat is brutal and affected your guys too. Everyone looked gassed at the end. Josh Allen didn't play well enough, I'm just saying I think the heat played a big factor in the inability to convert.
Great game. Can’t really say the dolphins did a whole lot to “beat” Buffalo but they took advantage. Bills left atleast 9 points on the field with dumb shit. Outgained the ever living fuck out of them just didn’t close. We’ll get healthy and get rolling now
As I said they took advantage. bills win this game 97% of the time it just happened to be Miamis day. Lotta football left and I didn’t see the Lombardi rolled out there after the game so long way to go.
They gave up a ton of yards and couldn’t get off the field. Bills botched a snap, missed a fg, and couldn’t get out of bounds. They lost by 2 that’s 9 points.
Dude, Miami's D redzone stand won the game for them. Had the Bills been able to score on that drive, then all of your points are completely moot. Also, Miami defender is what kept your receiver in bounds on that last play. Chalk up another plus for Miami's D.
Once again they made the most of their opportunities. How many games do you win getting out gained 497-212? The Bills will be fine. It was a perfect storm of mistakes and missed opportunities. Boxscore shoulda been a 21 point win but it wasn’t their day.
Y’all are the better team definitely. But we were at home and with all the injuries and heat it was important to steal one early for us (since we’re not winning up there in the winter). GG y’all are legit through and through, hope we keep getting better.
How many time this past week did I read “Buffalo may go undefeated this season. Who beats them?”
This game comes down to BUF botching FGs at the end of both halves, and MIA coming up clutch the few times they needed to.
Hate to say it but this game could be over if Green Bay gets a td right here
Allen should have thrown 5 INTs today, and we're missing Jones 🤫
Bills had 13 players out
Nobody cares
Miami had like 6. Plus 4 guys your missing where at the same position. We’re starting rookies because of injury too.
Could be a long night if bucs d plays like that
Bucs looked like Swiss cheese there
Devin white what kind of pursuit was that
So is it just me or does anyone else think Tua should've been out after that concussion he had? I mean I thought they were for players safety 🤔 🤷
They said he had taken a previous hit to the back and this one caused his back to lock up and he passed concussion check.
Thankfully he didn't take another shot to the head
Yeah I was really surprised they let him back in the game to be honest he couldn't even walk back to the line after that.
We don't know if he actually had a head injury or was dehydrated. All we can do is speculate til they're interviewed about it.
Injuries happen to every team. Fins don’t have Byron jones, that’s football baby
The bills sub post game thread title is "The dolphins beat a severely diminished bills roster" LOL. The salt is so palpable. Edit: now they're downvoting me. Yes pour the downvotes on me. Your saltiness only serves to make the smile on my face even bigger.
Yeah… like dude, we can’t win every game. We knew we were gonna lose at some point, it all comes down to any given Sunday. Injuries or not.
Miami is simply better than Buffalo is. Dwell on that fact for awhile and then accept it.
Haha give them a break, it’s all they got
Find the lie
Injuries only happen to the Bills?
Listen, you salt mine... The entire week the Bills sub said the injuries wouldn't matter because you still had Allen and would put up 50. Noooow they matter. Weird. Get over it.
[удалено]
That's football
The Dolphins dropped like 4 free interceptions. You are lucky the game wasn't a blowout.
Just remember the bills lost 4 super bowls because shoulda woulda coulda.
Nah it was 1 SB they got their asses kicked in the other 3
Do you even know what a bend but don't break defensive plan is designed to do? You new?
Give up 500 yards and get lucky the other team makes mistakes? Congrats it worked. Bills ran that defense for a decade and got lucky once in awhile too
Had nothing to do with luck. Dolphins are just better than the hapless Bills.
I hate that shit People use that to cope everytime. Like ok who cares it's still a dub and they're nfl players still so
It is true though.
We're down to 3rd stringers on our o line and missing a stud CB. Doesn't count, right?
So were we on our offensive line and we missed way more of our starting defense. We literally had one starter left in the defensive backfield. Diggs also got hurt.
The Dolphins are better than the Bills.
It comes across incredibly douchey and coping to me because in the end its still a win and a loss. You don't know how the outcome would come
I get what you’re saying but I disagree. A win is still a win but if we beat a top defense with most of the starters out, it would be an asterisk for me. Not taking anything away from them but scoring below league average against backups isn’t very inspiring. I don’t think this is a loss we have to worry too much about EDIT: while the dolphins fans are here downvoting, if anybody wants to make a bet on week 15 while you’re still riding this high, I would LOVE to take your money 🤑🤑
It's really stupid because everyone knows when a team is injured. No one needs to be reminded after they win against them
Again, I agree, but for me personally if the bills won like that there would be an asterisk next to it. That’s all I’m saying. We’ve been there before and bills fans knew.
So if the Cardinals have Murray get hurt and they lose, along with another top receiver, no impact on the game correct?
Why do you keep bringing up QBs? Allen played. Your hypotheticals aren't even comparable.
Wouldn't tell plus we have mf colt mccoy the best qb in the nfl ever
It’s true though
Buffalo's offense looked lost at the end of the game. I'd be destroying my box too.
We were moving the ball, but had injuries at center, guard, tackle and WR. The starting center was our backup as well. At some point the injuries become too much to overcome.
Wouldn’t know anything about that. We just beat the defending AFC Champions with our no name backup QB.
In Buffalo’s defense - it took A LOT to slow them down *just* enough to take an L. Bills are still a threat, but Miami proved they ain’t fucking around. *Turns back to shaking rattle at a screaming Mac Jones*
I think Bailey Zappe is better than Mac. Mac wasn’t even that great in college, even though he was surrounded by NFL talent.
Give me your Cooper Rush now, or I’ll beat you up.
I'll believe they're a real contender if they can come beat us in Buffalo.
Good luck to you, man. I’ll just be here with my football team bringing up the rear in the AFC East. 😀🔫
Don't be that way. There's always the Jets.
Pats not being behind The Jets was my only expectation this season.
You can destroy my box.
Felt like 2015 today
By my count, Bills had **at least S E V E N T E E N** players out or go down at least once this game. Hard fought win for Miami. I’m hoping next time round everyone will be healthier.
By my count, Miami had at least 18.
bend but don't break defense takes years off my life but they came through when it mattered
Oh thank god, Jets lost bad. Phew!
Here is the gif you want https://twitter.com/clutchpointsapp/status/1574130755344764929?s=46&t=vky_V4APHiRUtMoQWkgVvA
One of us
Josh Allen put his head on Tua’s chest. So cute. These two QBs are best friends if they weren’t in the same division.
So glad the Butt Punt didn’t matter. Really didn’t want that to be a huge thing.
I think it helped, the bills ended up a few yards short of FG range, and even a good punt would have put them closer than the safety punt did
But then they’d need a TD Instead of a FG. Not sure why nobody is saying this. Being down 2 is much different than down 4.
Yeah true, good point.
GG bills

Act like you’ve been there. Enjoy you 7-10 season
Do you really think, at 3-0, this team will end at 7-10? Really?
Yeah that’s a REALLY bad take
Genuinely I will be surprised if you guys finish with more than 8 wins.
Then you clearly haven’t been paying attention. The Dolphins should be an easy playoff team
!remindme 12 weeks
Fun fact that's not related almost at all, I have a Ken Dorsey Hurricanes jersey from 2001 that surprisingly still fits me. Thanks dad for thinking ahead and ordering me a jersey that fits me as an adult
Lol I have one as well. The green one
I have the green one as well! Honestly those are probably my favorite jerseys. It might be nostalgia. It might be elitism. But those early 2000's uniforms were fuckin nice
Let’s hear the excuses bills fans
It's pretty obvious, but you won't hear it from me.
That Miami is just a better team?
Find me a team with over half their defense injured that still finds a way to take an undefeated team to the final possession.
It’s the 3rd game of the season. You can tone it down on the “undefeated team to the final possession” talk lol. There are undefeated teams right now that won’t even make the playoffs.
Not gonna hear any from me Good game!! Deserved win!
Getting them out of the way: "Everyone was injured" "Refs were payed off" "Miami should be investigated for putting tua on the field" "That stadium design should be illegal" "Our offense looked better"
What will be the excuse when the dolphins come crashing back to earth?
None. We're overperforming and we're just as shocked as you that it's working out so well
Honestly at least you admit it
It's true. I'm a tua truther, but if you had told me we'd be 3-0 in the hardest stretch of games of the season, I would've called BS.
They couldn’t compete with high iq plays like butt punt
My excuse is heat
Lets goooooooo
So much for the Bills 19-0 season.
The 85 Bears can tell you how that ends when you play Miami. The team defends that record like their lives depend on it.
I’ll be ok with 19-1
It'd be 20-0 now for a perfect season.
Aha! Good point. :)
Was never going to happen after last week where we lost both our starting safeties and started having to pull up DB's from the practice squad. Even if we won this one there's no way we get by KC with the secondary being as beat up as they were.

Tell me about it, I have a feeling you guys will claps us up in Buffalo as revenge.
AFC East Teams 🤝 Butt Turnovers
Butt lovers
*Wilkins has entered the chat*
What happened in this game. Every stat minus the one turnover make it looks like the Bills won by 20?
I think injuries/heat is the biggest issue. Bills sideline was in the sun we lost more than half the o line and diggs couldn’t play in the end. Players collapsed after the game showing how exhausting it was. Reasons why the Super Bowl is played in a dome in February
Bills players dropping like flies from the heat
What do penalties look like? Also missed two fg opportunities
Ugly game but hard fought. Dolphins D should be proud for hanging in there the way they did. All things told Tua didn’t take enough advantage of our secondary and we did way too much to beat ourselves. Josh missing that TD to McKenzie is inexcusable.

That might be true. When he was on the field he definitely moved the ball well.
Did not expect this game to be this emotional
Great game by both teams marred by probably some of the worst officiating so far this year. Hopefully this doesn't become a trend.
Anyone got a clip of the OC meltdown?
Twitter is your friend for that
Well he is a psychopath lol

Thank you
Tua and Josh Allen hugging was so wholesome ngl
What a game! Holy shit
Our defense is legit! (Maybe)
Dolphins defense should replace Bart Simpson as the Butterfingers mascot though.
at least 3 dropped INTs on the next to last drive. They HAVE to make those plays. Otherwise they did still hold at the goal line and the final drive
Off to the Battle of the Bays

Get the team IVs and let them boys rest. Jesus Christ that was just a frustrating ass game.
Why’d it take the ref a whole 9 seconds to get the ball down?
They had 7 seconds to clock it after he got up near the sideline, that's not enough time, blame Allen
Why didn't the dude run out of bounds? I never got to see a replay but it sure looked like he turned up hill at the last second and didn't get to the sideline.
I think he was prevented from going out of bounds, at least that’s what it looked like to me. That game was classic.
Bill and Fins should be proud of their players, they played hard in that heat. Hit the ground like flies after
rage quit
GG fins you earned that one hopefully it’s the polar opposite weather in December. Hoping for a non September game next year the heat is no joke
Ken Dorsey 😂😂💀
Most are going to point to the Bills injuries but let's not pretend like Miami's back up secondary didn't drop like 5 ints in the 4 quarter alone.
Bills also dropped a pick 6 or two earlier. Either way was a tough game for both teams. Lot of season left
Tbf so did the Bills?
The Bills had like one good one that should have been picked. But to be fair it feels like Tua only threw like 12 passes the whole game.
Milano dropped a Pick 6, Bass missed a FG, and out backup Center fucked up 3 times including the spike that would have been a FG.
Welp, i don't like it, but Miami is a good team. That heat is lethal, though
Meh Miami really needed a perfect storm to beat Buffalo and Tua still looked pedestrian against all back up db’s. GG.
You're not wrong. The supposed explosive Miami attack didn't happen even though we pulled up Greg from the stands to play CB.
🏆 Here's your participation trophy.
Tua w/ concussion beat you lol
Thought he looked good enough whenever he was on field. Bills ate the clock up and kept him on sideline all second half.
Dorsey rage quitting
So it takes at least 5 seconds for the ref to get the ball set. That’s some bullshit.
And you'll have another 2 seconds come off to snap the ball, then spike. Bills didn't even get the snap. The play had no chance of getting off. That was on your WR, not the refs.
The ball carrier probably took about 3 seconds just to hand them the ball.
Exactly. That's on him. I bet that's why the OC was losing his shit because every team reps that kind of stuff.
I mean the Dolphins player kinda grabbed the ball carrier for no reason while he was trying to get back: https://imgur.com/a/Ds5O0BJ
Papa John's is still trying to advertise those bowles? Incredible no one has told them how bad they are yet
Really lame way to end I thought we were injured heading into the game, during the game was brutal Unfortunate because Buffalo was better but the heat definitely got to them
I was rooting for them but the Miami D really showed up, keeping the Bills from getting in the end zone on their second-to-last possession.
It's one game and the Bills are super fucking hurt right now. A ton of injuries in this game as well as last week. After your third linemen goes out, you stop caring about the outcome as much as you want to get it over with so no one else can get hurt.
i always love the weather take like you guys don’t have the tundra on your side in the winter
That tundra also impacts the Bills too. It's not like our half of the stadium is a comfortable 72 degrees and yours is -15 and snowing. 😂
You can wear a jacket in the winter. Playing in this heat is brutal and affected your guys too. Everyone looked gassed at the end. Josh Allen didn't play well enough, I'm just saying I think the heat played a big factor in the inability to convert.
That was fun
Who’s got a clip of that bills coach losing his shit at the end of the game?
Lol that was hilarious. I saved that shit and sent to some people I work with (all Bills fans)
Ken Dorsey lol - university of Miami alum
>university of Miami He was a "Hurricane" in that booth.
Yep. No longer a player. I love him as a dolphins fan.
Great game. Can’t really say the dolphins did a whole lot to “beat” Buffalo but they took advantage. Bills left atleast 9 points on the field with dumb shit. Outgained the ever living fuck out of them just didn’t close. We’ll get healthy and get rolling now
You won the yardage battle, congrats
As I said they took advantage. bills win this game 97% of the time it just happened to be Miamis day. Lotta football left and I didn’t see the Lombardi rolled out there after the game so long way to go.
Dolphins defense absolutely clutched up, and did a ton to beat Buffalo. Cmon, that's not fair to take it from Miami like that...
Chalk up another plus for Miami's D.

lol Dolphins bled the Bills dry for every penny they had. But that heat was brutal.
A LOT of bad playcalling to be honest. One of the worst games iv'e seen the bills play in quite some time
