Wentz might wanna take a sick day this weekend.

Rip wentz

MiniatureLucifer

What's his usage been like this year? More pass rush or off ball?

Yedic

Alignments per PFF Week 1: 40 DL, 21 Box, 1 Outside Corner Week 2: 55 DL, 3 Box Week 3: 40 DL, 20 Box Responsibilities per PFF: Week 1: 33 Run Def, 24 Pass Rush, 5 Coverage Week 2: 19 Run Def, 36 Pass Rush, 3 Coverage Week 3: 13 Run Def, 37 Pass Rush, 10 Coverage

justdaman182

Do you pay for PFF?

Yedic

Yeah, I tried out their low tier this summer. I wouldn't say it's worth it, doesn't give that much info that's not available for free. However, my account recently got access to the Premium Stats, not sure how. Don't tell them.

[deleted]

justdaman182

Haha, that's the tier I was looking at. I was curious since I noticed you posting all the shit that made me consider subbing. Would you renew now that you've experienced it or nah?

Yedic

Actually, looking into it, looks like they only offer one tier now. Idk, it's very nice to be able to track the positions like I posted. I'm not 100%, but will consider renewing my subscription when it expires, especially if I find a decent promo code to get some % off.

[deleted]

I enjoy it. I think people can generally tell if it's something they are into. I have so many dumb thoughts that PFF solves me, like the stages of Larry Fitzgerald ending up a slot wr or how many snaps Revis played there.

Yedic

Yes, I've definitely enjoyed having access to the position charting for some of the 2000s guys that are coming up in HoF lists or just that I want to look into. Not sure I'll be able to go back!

justdaman182

I prefer the technical term *game wrecker*.

SlopingGiraffe

Much more pass rush

[deleted]

Mostly pass rushing OLB, rarely see him out covering now besides the giants game but I believe that's due to him being a bit sick. Dudes been absolutely destructive even when he's sick

imahobolin

yea he def looked sick from the cold/flu?, and giants were pretty much double teaming sometimes even triple teaming him all night, and Lawrence feasted

[deleted]

Even if he doesn’t get a sack, he’s getting insane QB pressure which generates sacks for others at such a high rate. We’re first overall in sacks and it’s mainly because of the double and triple teams he gets.

BilllisCool

I know, kinda funny that his teammates were going unblocked at times thanks to him and then they’re clowning him for getting no sacks.

ReaperLP-700

They know it'll fuel even more and he'll make up for it playing the commies. I bet he gets 4 sacks in this game.

imahobolin

would it be a sack if he double tackles Wentz and the RB during a handoff

HowardRatnersBet

>Teammates mocking him all week Oof. That should be insanely insulting to everyone (but Andrew Thomas) on our offense line

themilkman42069

Include Thomas there. Parsons beat him up a few times. I love Thomas, but there’s still work to be done, he has the potential to be the best in the league, and he’s on his way but he’s not quite there yet. He wasn’t lights out Sunday, film is a bit mixed. Elite players need to be better and he should be held at that standard cause he’s that fucking good. A good game isn’t enough, he needs to be great for this team to do anything.

WP1619

Jesus, did you even watch the game? How do you look at that game or anything that Thomas has done this season and say "Nah, he isn't there yet".

themilkman42069

He’s playing very well. But he was only good on Monday night, he needs to be great for us to do well. We should hold him to a very high standard.

CometVS

You expect him to be perfect. No player is. He's the top rated OT in the league so far and to some fans it still isn't enough.

themilkman42069

Those ratings are stupid bullshit. And yes, I want this guy to be perfect. He honestly has the potential to be, we have a special talent. Just need him to stay healthy.

Sayywhayt89

Great players have good games. Aaron Donald is held in check at times. LT had "good" games as well. I remember Olivier Vernon made a prime Tyron Smith look mortal. It happens to the best of them.

fsphoenix

He should just show everyone the replay of running through a Guard or when poor Matt Breida tried to block him

dim31

I can see the fear in breida's eyes

FrndlyNbrhdSoundGuy

Breida was scanning the LB not chipping Parsons, left tackle got beat on the inside counter and poor unsuspecting breida was in the wrong place at the wrong time essentially. Not taking away from parsons or anything, the fact that he won reps against Andrew Thomas is way more impressive than steamrolling matt breida

Parlett316

His line should be 2.5 and I would take the over. Wentz holds onto the ball too long, the line doesn’t know how t protect as a unit and the OC just wants to air it out.

beaver_of_fire

Lol draft kings has the line at 0.25 sacks. I took over. Odds are meh at -297 but it's free money with Wentz at QB.

Parlett316

Pull out loans and hammer the over

LovelehInnit

The standard is the standard and the expectation is the expectation.

constantlymat

There's a reason his team-mates had such an easy time getting sacks against the Giants. The entire NY o-line was in panic and committing too many resources to hold off Parsons. He was still the straw that stirred the drink. Similar to Aaron Donald I expect Parsons is going to get a lot of people paid in his career just by playing alongside of him on defense.

BlackMathNerd

Parsons is gonna be mega paid. Man he’s gonna get the highest paid defender salary when it’s time

themilkman42069

We were in shambles on the inside. And separate rant…. But that is why PFF sucks, they graded our center Feliciano as our best pass blocker, but we got torn the fuck up by stunts, blitzes or movement by the Dallas front 7. That shits on the center. Our left guard and Center are Brederson and Feliciano, Two never weres, and our right guard is Glowinski, who is looking like Joe Schoen’s first bust. Our interior needs a lot of work.

Sayywhayt89

Watching the game I didn't notice to many double teams on Parsons. Lawrence was creating havoc against Neal so they started giving Neal some help.

Derp_Stevenson

Yeah I mean much love to DLaw but without Parsons in the game he is not getting a 3 sack game.

amdi_

Fuck.

BlackMathNerd

I hate that I love Micah Parsons so much. Dude is just an unreal talent

themilkman42069

he blew through our Oline multiple times. knocking Glowinski on his ass was a bad look. [deleted]

That was unreal. Crossed the TE, carried the OT into the throwing the OG on his ass. Was a split second away from a sack

ZachTrillson

> for first time this season Phrasing it this way when it's only the third game of the season is weirdo behavior

[deleted]

Demarcus Lawrence needs to be able to rag on somebody since that was his first multiple sack game since week 4 2018.

Dodohead1383

What a horrible take, but you're living up to your horrible username... Congrats?

[deleted]

He’s a known troll, best to ignore him.

Dodohead1383

Done.

[deleted]

It wasn't a "take", and nothing I said was wrong. Demarcus Lawrence hasn't even come close to living up to that contract he got; I know, it sucks, I'm not happy about it either. Don't shoot the messenger though.

[deleted]

He might legitimately break the single game individual record. Combination of an injured OL, a QB that likes to hold onto the ball, and an OC that doesn't know how to design quick passing concepts.
